Victagen Electric Pencil Sharpener Campaign

I was needing a new pencil sharpener for back to school this year.  The boys go though pencils like they are candy.  Our old one was just using too many batteries.  You can use wooden/colored pencils between 6.5-8 mm for diameter.  I had no issues with regular pencils and colored pencils.  I like that there is a collection enclosure.  It is easy to empty into the trash and keep going.

The rubber feet on the bottom reduce noise and the sharpener is not trying to wiggle across the table.  They do suction to a table for sturdiness.

The sharpener is not loud at all which is another nice thing.  It does have a auto shut off that takes the blade away from the pencil.  There are 3 choices for the tips. You have Blunt, Medium and sharp.

Great for students, artist and more.

I made a video you can watch as well.

Vinyl Stereo Turntable Portable Suitcase with Built in 2 Speakers Campaign #turnable #recordplayer

I haven’t had a record player in a long time. I know some younger people might not know what it is. My kids had a clue but they loved it. I had some 45’s and 78 records still in my music collection and it was a blast to play them. My boys who are 7 and 8 thought it was cool. My 15 year old was asking lots of questions about the records and artist.

I have to stay it is a nice conversation piece. I made a video I will share of the way it works and the sound quality. It is better than great.

What does it have and come with? My case is read but they have white and other colors to choose from. The carrying case is what makes it unique in my opinion.

Belt Drive Briefcase Turntable, electable 33/45/78 RPM speeds settings.

– 3 speed turntables, Dynamic, balanced tone arm with soft damping control.

– Phonographs record players, front-facing built in 2 stereo speakers provide great sound.

– Portable record player, wooden cabinet with PU leather wrapping , the briefcase styled turntable is lightweight, easy to store and transport.

– Classic style record player turntable, with RCA and headphone jack outputs / line in port mounted on the side, easy to operation and support multiple music playback modes.

Loved it and a great product.  A great gift for any music lover.

I Plus Certified QI 10W Fast Wireless charger Pad Campaign

I was a little worried about my iPhone X being able to charge on a wireless charger.  To my surprise it does charge it very well I might ad.  My phone case has a magnet on the back so I can use it in the car.  Even with the magnet on it charges with no problems.  I have made a video that I will share at the end of the post.

The charger itself is 3.8 x 3.8 x 0.3 inches.  The charges are as follows..QI Fast Charge Wireless Charging Pad 10W , 7.5W AND 5W – charges faster than standard 5W. It only weighs 4.8 oz.

When you plug it up the light is green.  When you have the phone placed in the right spot it turns blue to let you know it is charging.  The light fades in and out and at night it might bother a few people but I ignore it.

I love this new charger and I think you will too.  You can find it here.https://www.amazon.com/Plus-Certified-Wireless-charger-Samsung/dp/B07DPK9HDC/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?m=A1ZSY5RW9NR33C&s=merchant-items&ie=UTF8&qid=1530896773&sr=1-1-fkmr0&keywords=white+wireless+charger

About the Book

To Bead or Not to Bead (Glass Bead Mystery Series)

Cozy Mystery

4th in Series

Vetrai Press (June 29, 2018)

Print Length: 187 pages

Digital ASIN: B07CZ4B5Q7

When a wealthy theater owner is killed by a falling art glass chandelier, glass beadmaker Jax O’Connell’s boyfriend, Detective Zachary Grant, quickly determines it was no accident. Jax and her friend Tessa try to carry on with a charity fashion gala at the theater, but with only a few days before the big event, they have to scramble to keep things from falling apart. The emcee quits, and to make matters worse, Tessa’s daughters are suspects in the murder. As the chaos unfolds, Jax discovers new suspects at every turn, including an edgy glass blower, an agoraphobic socialite, and a hunky former-cop-turned-actor. Can Jax piece together the clues to find the killer and uncover the dark secrets behind the victim’s family or will it be curtains for her?

About the Author

Janice Peacock decided to write her first mystery novel after working in a glass studio full of colorful artists who didn’t always get along. They reminded her of the odd, and often humorous, characters in the murder mystery books she loved to read. Inspired by that experience, she combined her two passions and wrote High Strung: A Glass Bead Mystery, the first book in a new cozy mystery series featuring glass beadmaker Jax O’Connell.

When Janice Peacock isn’t writing about glass artists who are amateur detectives, she makes glass beads using a torch, designs one-of-a-kind jewelry and makes sculptures using hot glass. An award-winning artist, her work has been exhibited internationally and is in the permanent collections of several museums. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband, two cats, and seven chickens. She has a studio full of beads…lots and lots of beads.

Cozy Mystery (Historical)

Setting – New York

Alibi (July 31, 2018)

Print Length – 230 Pages

Digital ASIN: B0776JSR44

Manhattan, 1938. Tired of being trapped in the gilded cage of her family’s expectations, Elizabeth Adams has done what no self-respecting socialite would think to do: She’s gotten herself a job. Although Elizabeth’s dream is to one day see her photographs on the front page of the Daily Trumpet, for now she’s working her way up as the newsroom’s gal Friday.

But fetching coffee isn’t exactly her idea of fun. So when veteran reporter Ralph Kaminsky needs a photographer to fill in for a last-minute assignment, Elizabeth jumps at the chance. At the Waldorf Hotel, Elizabeth is tasked with tracking down the season’s “It girl,” Gloria DeWitt, who will be making her society debut. Working her own connections to New York’s upper crust, Elizabeth manages to land an exclusive interview with Gloria.

Then Gloria’s stepmother is shot dead in a Waldorf bathroom, placing Elizabeth at the scene of a headline-worthy scandal: “Murder of a Society Dame.” Now Elizabeth will have to get the scoop on the killer before her good name gets dragged through the gossip columns—or worse. . . .

About the Author

Mystery writing lets Peg indulge her curiosity under the guise of “work” (aka research). As a kid, she read the entire set of children’s encyclopedias her parents gave her and has been known to read the dictionary. She put pen to paper at age seven when she wrote plays and forced her cousins to perform them at Christmas dinner. She switched to mysteries when she discovered the perfect hiding place for a body down the street from her house.

When she’s not writing, she spends her time reading, cooking, spoiling her granddaughter and checking her books’ stats on Amazon.

A former Jersey girl, Peg now resides in Michigan with her husband and Westhighland white terrier, Reg. She is the author of the Sweet Nothings Lingerie series (written as Meg London), the Gourmet De-Lite series, the Lucille series, the Cranberry Cove series,   and the Farmer’s Daughter series.

When a killer strikes just before flan time, beloved food critic Hayley Snow is forced to sniff out the killer before someone else bites the dust.

Hayley Snow, fiery food critic for Key Zest magazine, has just landed a ticket to one of the most prestigious events in Key West: a high-brow three-day conference at the Harry Truman Little White House. Even though she’ll be working the event helping her mother’s fledgling catering business, there’s plenty of spicy gossip to go around. But just before her mother’s decadent flan is put to the test, Key West’s most prized possession, Hemingway’s Nobel prize gold medal for The Old Man and the Sea, is discovered stolen from its case.

Unsavory suspicions point to Gabriel, a family friend and one of the new busboys working the event, who mysteriously goes missing moments later. Anxious to clear his name, Gabriel’s family enlists Hayley to help find him, but right as they begin their search, his body is found stabbed to death in the storeroom.

Hayley has no shortage of suspects to interrogate and very little time before the killer adds another victim to the menu in national bestselling author Lucy Burdette’s delectable eighth Key West Food Critic mystery, Death on the Menu.

About the Book

Death Over Easy (A Country Store Mystery)

Kensington (July 31, 2018)

Restaurateur Robbie Jordan is ready for the boost in business a local music festival brings to South Lick, Indiana, but the beloved event strikes a sour note when one of the musicians is murdered . . .

June’s annual Brown County Bluegrass Festival at the Bill Monroe Music Park in neighboring Beanblossom is always a hit for Robbie’s country store and café, Pans ‘N Pancakes. This year, Robbie is even more excited, because she’s launching a new bed and breakfast above her shop. A few festival musicians will be among Robbie’s first guests, along with her father, Roberto, and his wife, Maria. But the celebration is cut short when a performer is found choked to death by a banjo string. Now all the banjo players are featured in a different kind of lineup. To clear their names, Robbie must pair up with an unexpected partner to pick at the clues and find the plucky killer before he can conduct an encore performance . . .

Includes Recipes for You to Try!

My thoughts

The Brown County Bluegrass Festival is about to begin and Robbie’s parents are visiting. She is excited as the renovations on the 2nd floor as a B&B are coming along.

Sitting in the audience waiting on her boyfriend, Abe O’Neill’s band to get ready to play. Things heat up between Abe and Pia but the show goes on. The police, inform Robbie that Pia has been found on the Beanblossom Covered Bridge strangled with a guitar string that night.

There are twists that make Robbie look good for the next victim. What will happen and can she be saved?

I enjoyed Robbie and seeing her parents show up was a nice surprise. A great read. I have not read all the books in the series but I did not feel like I was lacking any information.
