Le Fay Series - Book 2 Hint
I've been asked a lot of questions about Book 2 in the Le Fay Series. Most frequent question being... when it's coming out!
Here's the release schedule:
Yes, it's coming out this year! I hope you'll finish reading HENGE prior to the sequel release!
Book 2 hints...
-Darker
-More dangerous...
-Higher stakes
-You will continue to see more of Merlin
-More Lancelot
-Prince Arthur!
-It will feature another Arthurian relic...
-There will be a lot of "Yikes"
-I recommend to Keep Calm and Keep Reading
Want an ARC of book 2 before the release? Please be sure to check out my review policy and if you're interested, you can contact me for a copy. If you haven't read Henge yet, you can request a review copy as well to prepare for the next book.
So, what's the title? The title will be revealed on Thursday! Stay tuned and I hope you'll look forward to the sequel to Henge!

HENGE - Blog Tour Recap pt. 18
Accomplished this weekend: donated a copy of Henge and Clan to prison and finished the first draft of a picture book (my first one)!I believe this is the last recap for the HENGE promotion. Now it's time to stay tuned for the sequel news as I continue to share all things Le Fay Series related! To wrap up the tour, I wanted to share some quotes from HENGE that Zed curated. I thought they were fun choices! Enjoy.
Favorite Quotes from Zed at A Whisper of Thoughts:
[Morgan] “My father told me never to judge someone I don’t know.”
[Guinevere] “Judging and gossiping are part of proper conversation.”
______
“You should hunt with me next week,” Father says to Merlin.
Father only takes people he likes hunting, but maybe Father is planning to shoot Merlin.
______
[Lancelot] “Lady Fay,” he says. “You have such an icy stare. It burns me.”
[Morgan] “Sir Lancelot,” I say quietly. “I suggest you be careful.”
______
[Morgan's father talking about Merlin] “A friend, huh?” Father presses. “You might think so, Morgan, but men are animals. I bet you he wants something more.”
I roll my eyes. “He’s just a friend.”
“Oh, yeah? I told people that your mother was ‘just a friend.’”
______
Father grips Merlin’s good arm, as if he wishes the other were broken too. He inspects Merlin like he’s scrutinizing meat at a butcher shop. “You’re a bit thin, boy.”
“Oh, were you planning on cooking me?” Merlin queries, and I have to stifle a laugh.
______
I hope you enjoyed the quotes!

HENGE - Spring Sale!
It's the first day of spring tomorrow! The sale for HENGE starts today. You can get the book for only 99 cents for a week. It's a huge discount and I hope you'll take advantage of it!
Do you have friends who like to read fantasy? Consider gifting HENGE so they can catch up and stay tuned for the next book coming out this year! I HIGHLY recommend finishing HENGE before the second book promotions come out because you don't want any spoilers.
Check out the full size art below that I made for the spring sale. I'm planning to illustrate each of the lovely Arthurian ladies with their respective flowers each spring.
Morgan le Fay
Morgan's flower had to be blood-red roses, of course. Not the kind you buy at the store--the kind in the wild: beetle-bitten, thorny, and rawly fragrant.
I hope you'll enjoy the sale!

HENGE - Blog Tour Recap pt. 16
Yay! Spring! I'm so excited because I just sent my latest draft of Le Fay 2 to my dev editor! It's the most fun manuscript I ever worked on and can't wait to make it the best it can be for you guys. The second book in the series will be out this fall and is on schedule. To celebrate spring I am giving HENGE away for a huge discount! The spring sale will begin before the first day of spring... 3/19! Please stay tuned.
Not convinced to get HENGE? See the reviews on Amazon and reviews below.
"The book is amazing, super amazing and I LOVED the ending!"--Otakutwins Review
"Not going to say anymore because I don't want to spoil it, but I really enjoyed this book! Can't wait to read what happens next and I'm really excited for Morgan's further adventures. I highly recommend it!"--Diamond&Coal Book Reviews
"It isn't that same old story with King Arthur and the wizard Merlin. Henge is a fantastic modern young adult fantasy story. I always look for stories outside the box, and Henge was a perfect read for that. I strongly recommend this book if your looking for something exciting and different in the fantasy genre."-- The Haunted Rose
"My favourite character was Morgan’s father; his scene when meeting (aka grilling) Merlin was hilarious! I enjoyed this book, and it was told at a fairly quick pace with the right amount of back story I would expect from a series starter."--A Whisper of Thoughts
Stay tuned! Tomorrow is a St. Patrick's Day post and the sale post (with a special artwork I created for the occasion) will go live on Thursday.
Thank you,

Le Fay Series - UK Research Travel: Merlin's Cave
Do you remember the scene in Henge where Merlin takes Morgan to a seaside cave? It was inspired by a real place: Merlin's Cave by Tintagel Castle. Legends say that Merlin lived inside the cave. I love the imagery of it. It seems to suit him--the mystery and seclusion. I decided to use the cave scene to show readers a glimpse into the darker more mysterious side of Merlin. It ended up being the perfect setting for his character work.
Inside the cave. I was struck by the loud sound of the water amplified by the cavern walls:
