I feel like a pretty lady: Younique 3D Fiber Lashes Review.
I promise promise promise that I'm not going to start doing weird product placement or a bunch of reviews for random products, but look, y'all. I got the opportunity to review Younique's 3D Fiber Lashes and a girl cannot pass that up. Especially when said girl has the saddest, shortest lashes in existence.
That was after roughly six pounds and two days worth of my regular mascara. I'm not joking. Sad lashes. Sad, sad lashes. And I live in a house full of males with gorgeous long lashes that ma...

Throwing open the curtains and stimming.
Today is Autism Awareness Day.
In the past, I've stormed villages and took on 50 Cent and talked about marbles. I've shared some ugly truths that parents of typical children might not have known how to respond to. Do you express sympathy to the mom who admitted her child isn't potty trained? Do you brush off confessions that they've never experienced a normal, reciprocal conversation? Do you say sorry or offer condolences or do you focus entirely on the positives and turn a blind eye to anyth...

Heavy sighs and mixed feelings.

So. Autism Speaks.

On the other hand? Ugh.
The thing is, Autism Speaks is kinda everywhere. When you think of autism in general, they are probably one of the very first things that comes to mind. They get the funding. T...

Of loss and memories and stories.
I'd had another post planned for today. Two possible ones, actually. But at the last minute, I decided to push them back.
Because today is Bill's memorial service.
It's been years since I've had to deal with the death of someone even moderately close to me. Betty and I have been lucky that way. I'd forgotten the little things that comes with it. The way you forget, for a minute or two, and then the reminder comes like a sucker punch and you almost want to lean over and clutch your chest it hurt...
