Tag Line Tuesday – The Monster
This book almost wasn’t. Which sounds weird, but I had originally planned to write through Lon’s book and then leave this world for a while to focus on other things. Except… I missed Ari and Liam. I missed their over-sexed ways and figured a few more tentacles never hurt anyone. At least not Liam’s tentacles.
So Operation Date Night sprang into being. It worked in the long run because, while I closed out the loose arc I had been playing with in the earlier books (forgiveness and letting go) with book 7, there was still one LOOMING issue I wanted to address. Since I like bringing things full circle, I figured going back to Ari and her beloved green Guardian made perfect sense. Plus, I love writing the two of them together.
Since this post is about tag lines and letting people get to know the characters and places in my books, we’re going to take a look at Liam today. Ari’s monster still remains one of my favorites and I’m ALWAYS happy to give him page time…

First Line Friday – Operation Sasquatch

“You are a good nymph, love.” Liam bent and pressed a kiss to her forehead. “I am proud of everything you have done.”

Fuck. He was right. The cave was the place where the mating contract had gone down. Liam had been forced to face the memories and banish them because he’d had nowhere else to go at the time, but that might not be the best place for a first date.

Looking back on May…
I’m a few days late with my looking back post, but whatevs, right. Sometimes life happens. Or sometimes you start writing a new book and completely lose track of little things like schedules and eating at normal times. It happens to the best of us, I’m sure.
*ahem* So. May was…interesting. I didn’t get as much writing done as I normally do, but I did other writerly things. Like a read-thru of the final Stronghold book. I also started (and finished) the first part of a serialized novel about a gargoyle who’s been awakened in the modern world is is heartily confused by how he got there and what broke his curse. Depending of how quickly the next parts get written, this may end up being an early 2017 release.
Operation Gargoyle released May 11th and Operation Sasquatch will be out June 8th. You can grab Lon for under a buck through the first few days of release, so don’t delay. Trust me, he likes the grabby hands.

First Line Friday – Operation Sasquatch
Ari’s moving into matchmaker mode. I know, that’s not surprising. You know, BECAUSE THAT’S WHAT SHE DOES!
The list of things Ari needed to get done for her Yay for hook-ups! party sat in front of her. She had the food planned, the entertainment in place, and the guest list set.
Mostly.
The final line of her list mocked her and she scowled at it, hoping it would take the hint and magically fill itself in.
Lon, her hairy sasquatch friend, didn’t have a date.
Given that this party was to celebrate her success as a matchmaker to the supernatural set, that was unacceptable.
She wasn’t about to call up any old person and rope them into coming. Lon deserved better than that. He deserved someone who wanted to be with him.
Someone who like a little extra hair and soulful looks.
Someone who he’d shown an interest in.
Letting loose a growl, Ari abandoned her list and went to the window to watch Liam chop wood. Gleaming muscles and a swinging cock always got her blood flowing. Not to her brain, or anything, but it did run hotter whenever she looked at him.
