My agent calls me the rock star author. To live up to given title, I'm thinking of trashing out a hotel room this weekend.

The rumors of me being in rehab are greatly exaggerated. The book has only been out a week.

People often ask me how I stay so lean. Well, dignity packs on a lot of weight, so I got rid of that years ago.

In the grocery store, I was having trouble finding an item, so I asked one of the clerks. He escorted me to its location and with empathy said, "It's not in the most logical place." And I said, "If they arranged super markets according to logic, then toilet paper would be next to the prune juice."

I only put about 57 cents of fuel in my car before going to work--just enough to get to there and the gas station again the next day. That way, if someone steals it, they'll have to fill up.

Saturday, traffic brought me to a halt in front of a Target store. Spacing out while I was waiting on movement, I stared at their logo of the bullseye. I focused on it so long that I swear the target blinked at me.

All stores should have enough electric carts for every customer. And each intersection could have traffic lights. And we could text while driving our carts.

Great new invention! The water fountain! Now you don't have to tote hydration around or pay for it. Just simply stop at one of the many drinking stations now being installed in every building and get refreshed!

I like to jump into swimming pools fully clothed.

Am I the only one who, when after washing hands and unable to find a towel, thinks it's cool to just slick your hair back with your wet palms?

Okay...I admit one of my writer secret tricks. Listen to Eye of the Tiger while you're pounding the keys. Writer's block? Don't think so, buddy. Not with that primal beat and raging guitar forcing your fingers.

Hard to believe: contrary to popular hearsay, the first tattoo said, "Wow," but the artist was hanging upside down as he etched it. And when the ladies saw the finished skin art saying, "Mom," it endeared them to its owner.
