“But, it’s an important part of your education,” Daniel was continuing. “How will you know what you want, when you don’t know what there is?”

Both titles feature Nicholas, the CEO of a successful Marketing Agency, and Eleanor, the head of his design department, though it is possible to read either one, without reading the other.

The first book ‘Love by Design – Taken Altogether’ begins with their first meeting and follows the ups and downs of their often quite tempestuous love affair, as it explores the dynamic of a developing D/s relationship… and it is primarily a romance, that starts off in quite a gentle way as they get to know each other.

To be honest Nick doesn’t always come across all that alpha. He is in fact quite sensitive, though he tries to keep that hidden. He is hot though, and he is male, and he is dominant – in fact he’s a Dominant, though he keeps that little fact hidden too, because although when he meets Ellie he’s very quickly aware of her submissive tendencies, she has absolutely no idea about anything BDSM and he fears that she might freak at the very thought… and he was right about that.

The problem is, he’s fallen for her in a big way, and he’s not quite sure how to handle things – something that he’s not used to at all – and he doesn’t actually handle it well as he begins to lead Ellie on a journey that awakens new desires.

Here’s the prologue:

She is just so incredibly responsive, he thought, as he gathered her into his arms.
She seemed to be in a state of post-coital shock, as she nuzzled into him, and he surmised, correctly as it happens, that she had never before experienced such sensations.
