Sunday Update – July 21, 2019

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
What a long week! My husband was gone for most of it so I was on my own with the kids. I’m grateful that they’re older now and easier to care for, but still, it’s hard doing EVERYTHING when I’m used to giving some jobs to my husband.
He left on Sunday morning, so we were at the pool all day on Sunday.
Monday, I went for a walk in the park! It was so nice out. I couldn’t resist. I managed to do almost 1.5 miles and not feel like I was in pain. Yay! I got work done the rest of that day and then we went to the pool.
Tuesday was a busy day. I had physical therapy in the morning at 9, then I came home for a quick shower and something to eat, and then I went to my orthopedist doctor at 11 for a checkup on my leg. I had to wait over an hour to see my doctor, but once I did, the appointment went fast. Everything is going well with healing my broken leg! My bone is growing a callous, which is normal, and the x-ray is filling in. It looks like all my breaks are healing well! My doctor even allowed me to cut back to physical therapy twice per week. Progress!
Wednesday was a stormy day in the afternoon but beautiful in the morning, so I went out for another walk! It felt great to get out even though it was hot as blazes. In the afternoon, my youngest child and I made zucchini muffins, both vanilla and double chocolate. Also, my FIRST FLYGHT paperbacks came!
Thursday was another stormy day. I went to PT in the morning, and in the afternoon, we stayed home to rest. We watched plenty of Supergirl to make up for no pool. My husband finally arrived home this evening, though it was pretty late.
Friday, it was HOT HOT HOT. I stayed home in the morning and my cousin, Kate, came to visit. We caught up on all the family gossip and chatted for a few hours. Then I ran errands, picked my kids up, and we all went to the pool for a few hours to cool off in the water.
Saturday was another HOT one with temps in the high 90s and low 100s for the heat index. I took the young one to the pool and the older one stayed home with my husband. It wasn’t too bad at the pool in the shade. And once I was hot and sweaty, I went into the pool and cooled off. Ah! I love summer.
Today, we woke up and found out the clothes dryer is busted. Ugh. It’s always something. So my husband did two loads of laundry before we left and he took them to the laundromat once we were home to dry them. We ordered a new dryer. It’ll be here on Friday.
But today was my youngest’s 9th birthday party at the pool! We rented the gazebo for the day and it was an excellent idea. It was shady in there with a breeze. We had snacks and watermelon for the kids. Then they went in the pool for a few hours. Then we had pizza and cake and the party was over! Easy peasy. And everyone helped us out which was so nice. We have the best community here. I love living here. Now I’m catching up on sumo and winding down for the night. Back to business tomorrow!
What else happened this week?
Let’s start with my leg. Here you can see the break in my leg filling in, and a callous forming there on the left.
Pool views, with Kindle. Ahhhhh, summer.
Walks in the park! With plenty of rests on the benches, and a cicada shell!
Waiting at the doctor with my new Harry Potter mug.
My FIRST FLYGHT paperbacks arrived! These are going out to some Bookstagrammers. Do you participate in the #bookstagram Instagram hashtag? Join up the Bookstagram Blitz for FIRST FLYGHT via Lola’s Blog Tours!
Look! I crossed the 10k mark on my new book! Yay!!
I got a new Kindle Paperwhite! My old one was 4 years old and only 2GB. I was constantly struggling with it because of my large library. My new one is 32GB, has Bluetooth for wireless listening of audiobooks, and is waterproof. It’s so nice! I love how responsive it is. I got it on Prime Day, of course, for a good deal.
And I wore my new bathing suit to the pool. I love it!
Have a great week everyone!

Check Out The RICE COOKER REVENGE Podcast

This is probably something you didn’t see coming, right? I was listening to a podcast the other week from Joanna Penn, The Creative Penn, about Amazon Polly, a synthesized voice web service from Amazon, and I thought, I should look into that again!
About a year ago, I tried using Amazon Polly to narrate the first chapter of REMOVED, and I wasn’t happy with it. It was close but not good enough for prime time. But with the advancements in technology lately, I decided to give it a shot again. This time, I tried it with RICE COOKER REVENGE, and I was much happier with it. Plus, it was faster too! I was able to get the whole story, 10,000 words, narrated in less than a day.
I’m always looking for new ways that are low-cost to bring in new readers to my work, and this podcast was another idea of mine that I hope pans out. I’m hoping people will listen and let me know what they think of the voice! If y’all like it, I’ll solider on and do more of the series!

I hope you’ll give this a listen! If you want to listen at some point in the future, you can always find the links on my Free Books page.

This or That: Bookish Edition

We have a slow month here right in the middle of summer, so I thought this would be a fun meme to fill out before we get into August and FIRST FLYGHT prep!
This or That? from Ayunda @ Tea and Paperbacks
Reading on the couch or on the bed?
Bed… or at the beach or poolside!
Male main character or female main character?
I prefer female main characters. I loved science fiction growing up and there were so few female protagonists back in the 70s and 80s. So now I try to rectify that by reading females in books or writing them into my books.
Sweet snacks or salty snacks when reading?
Salty, especially popcorn.
Trilogies or quartets?
Hmmm, quartets. More is usually better!
First-person POV or third-person POV?
I love first person, especially first person present tense. (I know I’m in the minority.) Third person always feels too distant for me.
Reading at night or in the morning?
I’ve recently started reading in the morning, and I like it!
Libraries or bookstores?
Tough one. I buy most of my books through Amazon because it’s convenient and I have a Kindle. I’m also a slow reader so libraries don’t work well for me. I fully support them, though! I’ll have to say bookstores because I always visit and buy from them when I can.
Books that make you laugh or books that make you cry?
Laugh. I love some good humor.
Black book covers or white?
Uh, black? I actually really prefer super colorful.
Character-driven or plot-driven books?
Characters, though, if they’re not doing anything exciting, I put the book down. I’m picky now that I know how a good story works!
This or that? from Cait @ Paper Fury
Series or Standalones?
Series. Hands down. I will remain faithful to a series for a long time too.
Magic Earned or Magic Born?
I don’t read a lot of fantasy, but I prefer Magic Born like Harry Potter who doesn’t know he has the gifts and someone has to teach him.
Enemies to Lovers or Friends to Lovers?
Friends to lovers, which is why I loved writing SUMMER HAIKUS so much.
Hilarious Banter or Emotional Ruin?
Banter. I’m also an Aaron Sorkin and Josh Whedon fan so yeah.
Love Triangle or Insta Love?
Insta Love. I believe in it. I’m insta love with my own husband and we’re happily married many years later. Love Triangles make me angry, which is why I love Reverse Harem. No need to choose, ladies! Have them both!
Keyboard Smash Names or All Names Start with the Same Letter?
Smash. I’ll nickname them in my head. Lol.
Mean Parents or Dead Parents?
Dead. Especially in YA.
Supermodel Looks or Constantly Says How “Plain” They Are?
Prefer plain.
Face on Cover or Typography on Cover?
Faces. Love seeing POC especially on covers!
Villain Turning a Little Good or Hero Turning a Little Bad?
Villain turning good. I did this with Kazuo in the Nogiku Series and Hikoboshi Series.
Best Friend Dies or Love Interest Dies?
Best friend. I’m in the romance for the happily ever after. I killed off a BFF in the Hikoboshi Series too. Lol.
Awesome Writing with a Dull Plot or Amazing Plot with a Murderously Bad Writing?
Dull plot may get me to the 50% point or the end. Murderously bad writing won’t get me past the first page.
Cliffhanger Ending or Heartbreaking Ending?
Cliffhanger as long as I feel like I got some resolution from the book.
Breaking the Spine or Dog-Earing the Pages?
Dog-earing, which I do with paperbacks ONLY. But I mostly read ebooks now, so…
“Bad Boy” Trope or “Perfect Golden Boy” Trope as the Love Interest?
Bad Boy as long as he’s not super mean. I don’t understand this new “bully romance” trend and never will. Perfect Golden Boys are BORING.
What are your This or That answers?

Sunday Update – July 14, 2019

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
Well, it was back to real life after vacation! That’s always a tough transition. Lol.
On Monday, I spent the morning making granola and hard-boiled eggs while catching up on work. We went to the pool for the afternoon.
Tuesday was my busy day. I had physical therapy, chiropractor, acupuncture, and work my CSA shift all in a four hour time period. I’m glad that my last CSA shift is done, and all of them went really well. This is the first year that nothing has gone wrong!
Wednesday, I was ready to go to the pool and swim some laps but I woke up with a headache that lasted pretty much all day. It messed with most of my plans but I still managed to take the kids to the pool and get a few things accomplished.
Thursday, I don’t remember what we did but I think it rained and we stayed home.
Friday was my youngest child’s birthday. She is now 9 years old! One more year and I’ll have two kids in double digit ages. Crazy. We celebrated by going to the pool after camp and then we all went out for dinner and ice cream. I did have another painful day, though. I slept poorly the night before and my neck was cramped up and unhappy. Then I made it worse by swimming laps. I needed painkillers to sleep.
Saturday was pool day all day. It was so nice and hot out! Even my husband came and he usually doesn’t on Saturdays. We spent all day there and had dinner at home in the evening.
And today, my husband left early this morning for a work trip so we had lunch at home and went to the pool in the afternoon. Ah, summer. Pool pool pool.
In work news, I started writing Flyght 4! I have a deadline and a word count to hit per day with Sundays off. I should be able to finish it by September. I also worked on some other projects including a podcast for RICE COOKER REVENGE and a Free Books page for my website. I’ll announce the RICE COOKER REVENGE podcast later this week once it’s fully distributed. I also put up the pre-order for FIRST FLYGHT and worked on the blurbs for Books 2 and 3 so I can put those up for pre-order as well. Lots going on!
What else happened this week…
Granola for yogurt and hard-boiled eggs for lunches.
I got some cute Harry Potter cups while I was in Charleston, and here I am with my youngest listening to the Harry Potter #1 audiobook and reading along. We do this every morning.
Headaches are the worst. I fixed this one with some pain killers and soda.
Started writing Flyght 4! Woo!
Lots of working at the pool.
Aw, this is my youngest when she was first born. Baby burrito! That was a long time ago. Now she’s pretty tall.
Another day of pain from swimming laps and hurting my shoulder. Ow.
And Sunday breakfasts are the best.
Have a great weekend everyone!

FIRST FLYGHT Now Available For Pre-order Everywhere!

I’ve been working hard behind the scenes to bring you all some fun reading! First up, FIRST FLYGHT is now available for pre-order on Amazon, which means that it’s now available for pre-order in almost every place I publish. Early reviews are coming in about this book and everyone is gushing over it (*blush*) so be sure to pick it up at the low-low price of 99¢. I almost NEVER sell a book at this low of a price out of the gate, but I decided to give it a go this time. Take advantage of my temporary insanity. ;)
Her future is brighter than the stars. But one betrayal will change everything…
Vivian Kawabata can’t wait to claim her privileged destiny. But when the heir to the family agricultural empire finds her bank account empty while shopping for expensive shoes, she’s horrified to discover that her own brother has financially stabbed her in the back. To stand a chance of restoring her rightful place in the universe, the honest and rule-following Vivian may have to break a few intergalactic laws.
After securing an old ship from her aunt, Vivian takes on two new roles: a sexy heiress collecting eligible husbands and a hard-nosed captain rebuilding a lost fortune by any means necessary. Completely out of her depth, she’d be sunk without the help of a relationship broker, a handsome ex-boyfriend, a hacker with a heart of gold, and the other potential partners she meets along the way. With a business that runs the razor’s edge between trade and smuggling, can the former high-society socialite get the money she needs or will her brazen ambition lead to a deadly crash landing?
FIRST FLYGHT is the first book in the Flyght Series of sci-fi reverse harem romance. If you like action-packed space operas and a universe full of twists, then you’ll love S. J. Pajonas’s interstellar adventure.
Note: This is a slow-burn romance series!
AmazonApple Books Nook Kobo Google Play
This book will be available on September 6th! And I’ll be putting Book 2, BROKEN FLYGHT, up for pre-order soon too. There’s lots coming in the next month or two, so stay tuned!

Sunday Update – July 7, 2019

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
I’m back from vacation! We had a wonderful time away with family and friends, did a whole bunch of stuff, and rested as well. Sometimes you just need to be away to reset.
Major highlights include…
I finished writing Flyght Book 3! I’m so excited that this book is done, and I’m definitely ready to move straight onto Book 4. I start writing again tomorrow.
My husband and I spent a night alone in Charleston as a special treat. We stayed at The Market Pavilion hotel for one night and went out to dinner at High Cotton, a well-known restaurant for awesome, upscale Southern food. It was such a great time!
We went to the beach A LOT. Like almost every day. We made it our mission to go in the morning and get lunch in town, and we did that! It was great to be in the water almost every day, though two mornings we got kicked out of the water by thunderstorms.
I spent a lot of time reading and relaxing. Though I did walk and climb a lot of stairs and swim, I still managed to get in a lot of reading and knitting. Ahhhhh.
We ate a lot of amazing food. Lots of sea food and fresh ingredients. Mmmmm.
Let’s get to the photos!
First, the animals. Sara, the cat, usually ignores me when we visit my parents but this time she slept on my lap a few times! I love that she sleeps curled up with her chin on her tail. Plus, Cookie, the dog, enjoyed having more people in the house. And there are all these tiny lizards and frogs all over the place! This frog was on the outside of my parents’ glass door, hunting down moths and other bugs.
Dinner at Hyman’s in Charleston is always a must. Just say yes to the fried green tomatoes over grits. And my daughter had shrimp and waffles for dinner. Why not? We were on vacation!
We always try to go to Crab Shack in Folly Beach while we’re there. Snow crab legs!
And dinner at High Cotton was fabulous. I had a strawberry and beet salad (not pictured) and grilled lobster tail with creamed corn and pea shoots. For dessert, a chocolate caramel torte with salted caramel ice cream. OMG. So good.
Time at the beach is never a waste.
The view from the rooftop bar at the Market Pavilion hotel in Charleston.
I visited with my friend and fellow author, Sarra Cannon. It’s always a pleasure meeting up with her to talk about life and writing.
My mother is growing some lovely looking flowers in her garden. I love this water lily. So pretty!
And finally, the end of Flight Book 3 came with much relief. I’m so glad I finished it! This is the first book I’ve written since breaking my leg. I now feel energized and ready to move onto the next book!
Have a great week everyone!

Gone On Vacation!

It’s summer and it’s time to take a little break from everyday life. We missed our spring vacation back in April because of my broken leg, so we’re WAY overdue for some time away. We haven’t had a real vacation since November when we went to Florida.
So here’s the heads up for the blog! I plan to update here about my vacation in the Sunday Update on July 7th. Until then there will be no posts. In the meantime, let’s say HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to this blog that was started on July 2nd, 2011. It will be 8 years old next week. Kinda crazy, right? I’m not sure I’ve ever stuck with a blog that long. My knitting blog had a lot but I think that was only about 7 years? Hard to remember now.
If you’re interested in what I’m up to while I’m gone, be sure to follow me on Instagram! I’ll be updating with photos and posting to my Stories as well. But never fear! If Instagram is not your thing, I will return with photos in the July 7th Sunday Update and you can catch up then.
I hope you all enjoy the next week and a half!

July 2019 Goals

July is next week! And I’ll be on vacation, so let’s get to these goals early. If you enjoy my monthly videos, please check back on July 1. I’ll update the blog post then with the video
What Happened With June’s Goals?
Open SFR Station for business. Done! And so far so good. Posts are going up on the site and I’m on top of things for now. I hope my enthusiasm doesn’t wane. I have like 180 books to post on the site. Lol.
Keep writing and finish Flyght 3. I expect to be done with this this weekend! I have two chapters to write and that’s it. I was hoping to be done before we left on vacation, but it looks like my writing will extend into the first two days. That’s okay. I’ll have it done!
Keep up outpatient physical therapy. All is going well with this! I’m going 3 times per week and then also doing exercises on my own, like swimming and walking.
Start treadmill walking again. I didn’t do this because I need more time. I did start walking in the park though! And I started swimming at the pool!
Reading and knitting. Yay! I am knitting and listening to my audiobook. I finished some kindle books and I need to start something new.
Try to just chill. I did my best to chill but I had plenty to do. Maybe I can chill on vacation!
A Look Back At June
Check this out on July 1!
Business Goals For July
Start writing Flyght 4. I’m hoping that now that I’m back in the swing of things I can really just slip into the next book in the series. I have an idea of what I want to do! So I’m ready to get going! I’ll start after vacation is over.
Write a blurb for Books 2 and 3 of the Flyght Series. Get these done because I want to put them on pre-order.
Set up pre-orders for FIRST FLYGHT, Books 2, and 3 everywhere. I think I can set up Books 1 and 2 now (Amazon has a 90-day window for pre-orders), but I may just wait until the end of July.
Set up the FIRST FLYGHT paperback on Ingram Spark. I hear I can set this up early and order author copies. If so, I want to send out some paperback ARCs of this book.
Keep up with SFR Station. There are A LOT of books to post on SFR Station and my goal is still 10 per week. Gotta keep up with it.
Get Lola everything she needs for our September event. I’m working again with Lola of Lola’s Blog Tours in September for an Instagram Bookblitz. I can’t wait! It’s going to be a lot of fun. I just need to make sure I get everything done for it now since August is bound to be busy.
Personal Goals For July
Keep up outpatient physical therapy. I’m making my plans for this! And I’m making progress!
Keep up with the pool and walking. I like the fact that swimming and walking can now be added to my exercises. I hope to keep that up through the end of summer.
Reading and knitting. As usual.
Have a great July everyone!

Sunday Update – June 23, 2019

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
A busy week as we came into the last week of school!
Monday was the last full day of the school year. The kids went to school and I went out to have lunch with a friend. It was so nice to get out! We had lunch at a local pub that I had never been to before. I had some falafel sandwiches, a salad, and parmesan and truffle fries. SO GOOD. The afternoon was chill at home with the kids. We watched The Flash and Supergirl together.
Tuesday was the first of three half days for my kids. I went to physical therapy in the morning and then I went to get veggies in the afternoon with my youngest. We had space squash this past week! Lol. Squash that looked like UFOs and planets. Again, we watched The Flash and Supergirl together in the evening.
On Wednesday, my husband came home from a business trip. We celebrated with cupcakes!
Thursday was the last day of school! I went to PT in the morning and then to the school to be there for the clap-out where we all clap for the graduating 4th graders as they exit the school for the last time. In the afternoon, we celebrated with frozen yogurt! Which has become an annual tradition.
Friday was our first day of summer vacation. We listened to the first chapter of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone together in the morning, and then had a friend over for a playdate in the afternoon.
Saturday and Sunday were both spent at the pool! I got knitting and writing done both days.
In writing news, I AM SO CLOSE TO FINISHING THIS BOOK! But something is missing. I’m pretty sure I know what’s missing and what I need to do, but it’s a pain. This story just did not come together easily. I’m sure it’ll be seamless for readers, but it was still difficult. This week, I need to write the last chapter, go back, read through, plant some more seeds, and then write an additional chapter in the last act to support this change I need to make. THEN IT WILL BE DONE. And I want to be done before we leave on Saturday, so I have all week to fix this. Good thing summer camp starts tomorrow!
What else happened this week?
My husband and I watched a show on NHK World about gyoza, Japanese dumplings, and then I was craving them after. So I had a bunch for dinner one night. No regrets.
Space squash!
The last day of school!
Made Japanese curry and had sake this week. A good pairing.
My knitting was coming along and then I had a yarn malfunction. The dark gray skein totally disintegrated on me! I had to wind it up by hand at the pool.
Harry Potter plus audiobook plus knitting.
Some yummy treats this week. A cupcake and some frozen yogurt.
I’m almost back on the intermittent fasting! I’m working on it during the week and my timing is getting better.
I love this little space in the next town over from me. It almost feels European.
And finally at the pool today, some bright and yummy strawberries and getting my words in!
Have a great week everyone!

Mid-Year Goal Reflections for 2019

We’re halfway through 2019! More than halfway actually, so I thought it would be a good time to check in on my goals for the year and see how I’m doing. Especially since I broke my leg in March and it changed a lot of what I had planned for the year. Let’s go back to January!
The Year I Improve Myself and My Business
Well, this goal will probably be the one that I fail the most at. I’m not improving myself per se. I’m trying to get back to the mediocre state I was in before I fell and broke my leg. I’ve gained some weight from constantly sitting and resting, and I can barely walk a block anymore, much less the 3 miles a day I was doing before I broke my leg. Sigh. Someday I’ll get back there.
As for my business? Well, I’m glad I have REMOVED and THE DAYDREAMER DETECTIVE free, and that I’m still here and blogging. And that I’m doing well over on Instagram.
Writing and Publishing Goals
I will finish writing Daydreamer 5. Done!
I will publish Daydreamer 5. Also done! And I got it all taken care of before I broke my leg.
I will write Books 3, 4, and 5 of the Flyght Series. My intention is to be writing Book 5 by the time Book 1, FIRST FLYGHT, publishes. Okay, so, I’m writing Book 3 right now and should be done with it next week. I plan to start Book 4 after I return home from my vacation at the beginning of July. I hope to finish Book 4 by September 1st. So, no, I won’t be writing Book 5 by the time Book 1 publishes. I’m now a book behind due to the broken leg. BUT! It’s a miracle I’m going to have FOUR WHOLE BOOKS ready before the first book even publishes! I plan to edit Books 3 and 4 during September. Write Books 5 and 6 in October, November, and December. Then I will take a break from Flyght to write Hikoboshi 4 and Daydreamer 6.
I will publish FIRST FLYGHT in September, then Book 2 in October, and Book 3 in November. This is still the plan!
Business Goals
I will return to advertising. Well, I started advertising at the beginning of the year with high hopes, and they were dashed rather quickly. I would spend $50 on ads to only make $25. And despite spending hours tweaking ad copy, finding the right ad images, or downloading hundreds of keywords, I was not doing any better. I stopped ads at the end of February when I had lost close to $400. Now that I have two free books, I instead rely on those books to bring me new readers and sell through. That strategy is working better for me.
I will make REMOVED free again. Done! REMOVED is free and so is THE DAYDREAMER DETECTIVE.
I will continue with Pinterest. I’m not convinced Pinterest is doing anything for me, but it is still fun and pretty effortless, so I’m keeping up with it.
I will use video more. Nope. I have decided I don’t really like being on camera. I may try to use Instagram video more, but I don’t know if I will. I do want to make some more video ads, though, so let’s see if I can do that in the second half of the year.
I will redesign and relaunch SFR STATION. Done! And the site is rolling along with new content now!
Blogging Goals
I will continue to update my blog on a regular basis. I’m managing to keep this blog afloat, even after the broken leg and everything else. I aim for 2-3 posts per week, and that seems to be a good pace for me.
I will continue to update the back posts of the blog. If I had more time, I would do this. As it stands, I don’t think this goal will get accomplished this year. After taking off 8 weeks due to the broken leg, I’m now swamped with the top-tier goals. This one is being relegated.
Personal Happiness Goals
I will continue with pottery. I did my best with this one after I broke my leg. (This statement now feels like a broken record, not a broken leg!) It was hard to sit at the wheel when I was already in pain. I’m hoping for better in the fall!
I will go greener at home. I’m doing good with this goal. We’ve cut back on single-use plastics and I’m better about recycling.
I will explore Tarot. I’m tabling this goal to 2020. I just ran out of steam.
I will continue to knit, read, and listen to audiobooks. I’m doing okay with this goal because I’ve had more sitting time in the last few months.
Personal Fitness Goals
I will walk 750 miles this year. I will conquer the stairs this year. I will start stretching daily. I will work on my posture. I will save sweets for the weekend. All of my personal fitness goals are basically dead. I can barely walk a block. I need help descending the stairs. I can’t stretch daily because my leg is essentially still broken. I have PT 3x per week where we stretch, though, so there’s something! My posture is okay. It could be better. And sweets? I need sweets to get me through this nightmare. I’ll be more vigilant about that after the summer.
New Mid-Year 2019 Goals
Walk once around the park in one go. My goal with physical therapy is to get back to walking in the park in September. Right now, I’m working on building balance and leg strength back up so I can handle stairs again. I walk short distances but nothing longer than a block in my neighborhood. When September comes, I’d love to walk into the park and make it once around the loop.
Keep building up my Instagram presence. I’m taking Instagram seriously now. I’m posting more often and I’m using Stories. I’m sending that content to my FB Page too. I’m basically doing whatever else I can find to make it work for me since ads don’t work. I think I just need to be myself online and hope that people find me and enjoy the content I produce.
And no other goals besides those since I have so much on my plate already. I love writing, blogging, reading, knitting, and Instagram so I’m making all of those my priorities for the rest of the year, including healing this darned leg.
Okay, time to get back to work!
