Soft Opening, Part II

This was one of the possible covers for The Drake Equation (Disney Hyperion). While it wasn't chosen, this cover does nicely capture elements of the story, like outer space, birdwatching, and really, REALLY big binoculars. :P

Oh, and all of the cover art for this book was done by the very talented brothers, Francis and Laurence Minoza.
