Even in darkness, love lights the way.

Anya awakens alone and afraid in a new world soaked with blood and terror. The only things she knows for certain are her name and that humans are precious.

Unwilling to give in to her hungers, she sets her feet upon a path of discovery, searching for clues to her forgotten past. Along the way she runs headlong into the unimaginable world of the undead and the waiting arms of Nicholas, a fearless nocturnal defender searching for his love, lost in eternity.

Into their midst stumbles Declán, a young, natural born vampire hunter and Guardian whose passion for Anya is only matched by his draw to Nicholas. His arrival could mark the end of their tale, or with the gift of Anya’s blood kiss, it might bring about the beginning of a new chapter for them all.

Roasted Pumpkin Garlic Lasagna – Meatless Monday

Sugar pumpkin is slow roasted with garlic, then seasoned with oregano and sage in this Autumnal lasagna. Roasted garlic, cardamom and nutmeg deepen flavor of the pumpkin ricotta, while dried cranberries and apricots are sprinkled throughout to lend their complimentary fruit flavors.

Blistered Sweet Pepper and Marinated Feta Salad with Arugula and Quinoa – Meatless Monday

Quinoa is a superstar. With no gluten yet high in protein, it’s a perfect grain. It’s also sneaky, making sure it touches just about every ingredient in the salad so that with every forkful you get a sprinkling or more of quinoa. “Hey!” it says, “You can’t ignore me!” And who would want to? Here

Today is National #ComingOutDay…

Pansexual • Genderfluid • Activist • Fighter
Drag Nun • Lover • Author • Parent • Friend

Today is National #ComingOutDay and I would like to officially restate that I am #genderfluid, a form of #transgender, and #pansexual, what I refer to as people-sexual as I don’t care what bits you have, if they all match, what you were born with, how you present… I only care about the person you are. If I’m attracted, then I am. Period.

Even in 2017, it’s hard to be out, proud, and open …thanks to the hate, lies, fear, and bigotry… and that comes from the media, our governments, our families, many faiths, etc. But if we stand strong and together, we can prevail, we can make changes, and we can find our authentic selves. I hope for each of us to find our true self and our true equal/s.

Never give up, my loves!

New Story… New Series… Yes, #amwriting

Guess what I’m doing today?

Well, after talking with Lynn at Dreamspinner Press, I’m working on a new series. Well, right now I only have two books planned, but so not the point. It’s called Delights and Delicacies—the series is, I mean. The book is Knots of Delight (at least for now).

It’s set in Oconomowoc, WI (not far from me, really) which is this quaint little town that isn’t tiny but isn’t big. It has so much I love about it that I had to set a few stories there. I mean, I love Milwaukee (where the Desires Entwined series is set) but this area has such character, I simply had to.

There is a progress bar on my bog, if you’re the kind to like watching the numbers go up… Smile

Here’s the mini-blurb so you know what I’m doing…

When out and proud Stefan is rescued by a towering man in a pick up truck, he never expected his rescuer to be a sweet, somewhat closeted lawyer in town named Marcus. When Marcus seeks Stefan out later to help with a rush bakery order for his firm, more than flour and sparks fly between the two.

I hope you will enjoy when they are written and come out.

Support for the AIDS Walk Wisconsin 2017

It’s almost time for the AIDS Walk Wisconsin and is like to invite each of you to please sponsor me, even if it’s just a $1, as we walk, wheel, lumber, run, etc. to raise money and awareness for the ARCW and all the do. I will do this not only for every person living with AIDS, HIV, and at risk, but in the name of my best friend who lives with HIV every day.

In October 7, I will participate in an inspiring event that has been making a difference in the lives of Wisconsin residents with HIV/AIDS for more than 25 years – AIDS Walk Wisconsin and 5K Run.

Please join our efforts by making a pledge to my fundraising goal. Proceeds from the Walk/Run support HIV prevention, care and treatment services in Wisconsin.

The AIDS epidemic is far from over. Thousands of people continue to be at-risk for the virus. In fact, six out of 10 teens who are HIV positive, do not know they have the disease.

You can make a difference. Simply use the link below to make a donation and help me reach my goal. Together, we can take a step forward in the fight against AIDS.
