I know y’all want to know who won what in my latest blog tour, so I thiught I post about it here. I am also e-mailing each of the winners, so hopefully I can find everyone to give them their prizes quickly!
Now, what was all the fuss about? The release of my first full-length YA paranormal LQBTQ+ romance.
Even in darkness, love lights the way.
Anya awakens alone and afraid in a new world soaked with blood and terror. The only things she knows for certain are her name and that humans are precious.
Unwilling to give in to her hungers, she sets her feet upon a path of discovery, searching for clues to her forgotten past. Along the way she runs headlong into the unimaginable world of the undead and the waiting arms of Nicholas, a fearless nocturnal defender searching for his love, lost in eternity.
Into their midst stumbles Declán, a young, natural born vampire hunter and Guardian whose passion for Anya is only matched by his draw to Nicholas. His arrival could mark the end of their tale, or with the gift of Anya’s blood kiss, it might bring about the beginning of a new chapter for them all.

#RainbowSnippet Blood’s Song 12/2-12/3
Hey everyone! I’m sharing today from Blood’s Song. Yay! Yep, I’m going to share six sentences from my new YA Paranormal Romance. I know, it’s a little different for me, but hey, I’m a little different, right? This story is told from Anya’s POV (yes, this is a f/m/m story, not m/m, lol. The series will have many pairings as it continues. Oh, and it’s PG-13 too). She’s a vampire that’s more than a little off center and not only having to learn to be a vamp, but has to learn to be a teen as her memory was wiped. But hey, her power is allll there. Joy! So, let’s see what she and her friends and loves get up to, shall we? (Oh, and today I can’t count… but you’ll forgive me right?)
Upon entering the large home I shared with my adoptive mom, Star, I froze, nearly dropping the small tote bag in my hands. I could scent… what was that? Male. Blood. Another of my kin? Here? I darted up the stairs having no idea what I was about to walk into. I’d never met another blood drinker–Star wasn’t one, though she was an immortal. In the middle of my bed sat a note on expensive, ivory parchment and a dark, blood red rose.
The Rainbow Snippets group on Facebook is for LGBTQ+ authors, readers, and bloggers to gather once a week to share six sentences from a work of fiction—a WIP or a finished work or even something you’d like to recommend to others. (no spoilers please!) Be sure to go check out what the others have up to read!

How to Be an Ally
One of the biggest things anyone can do is learn to respect others as they are. We are all told as children that we need to show others respect. Don’t make fun of other people. Don’t tease, insult, bully, etc. Yet those are the very thing rise same adults often taught us to do with their actions.
Often without intent, we mimic this behavior. It’s time we listened to the lessons instead of repeating the horrid actions. When it comes to anyone on the trans-spectrum–and yes, it’s a spectrum–it’s really not hard to show respect. The poster above is a great starting point. I will do a more in-depth post soon, but this poster (thank you Sister Yoko Oh Nó) inspired me to speak up as I was recently verbally slapped hard for being out as genderfluid. I won’t go into it here, but know that a little respect and love goes a l o n g ways.
