Now & Forever ABCs (Sally)
12 June 1996
Theist
Sally was born in Toronto, but moved from there before she was four so barely remembers the place — though she still holds Canadian citizenship due to not being an adult and thus unable to apply for US citizenship and unable to inherit it from parents who have not, themselves, applied. Through quirks of law in her parents’ birth countries she also holds citizenship, or at least a right to it, in France and Italy. Sally is aware of these details and f...
Now & Forever ABCs (Q & R)
I knew I had no Qs, though I had considered a tongue-in-cheek post wherein I copied and pasted select bits about Queen Elizabeth II or similar.
I had, however, thought there was at least one R. I appear to be wrong. If there is an R, he or she was merely an extra — they’re naught, as far as the focal point of the story goes, anything but a name on some random page.
So we shall move on to the letter S. From here things will probably run out quickly since I’m not sure there’re any Ts except Sally...
Now this is just insulting
Below is a screenshot of a bit ofcomment spamthat WP caught for me this morning.
This is just insulting! Cooking video?! Are they eventrying?!I meanRegarding Fanfic, I’m fairly certain, doesn’t contain anything that any properly written algorithm should decide is aboutcooking.
I mean, come on people! If you’re going to run a scam, you’vegot to try harder!Just a little more effort, just a little more, and that might have just about looked like a legitimate comment … to someone who wasn’t paying...

Now & Forever ABCs (Paolo)
19 September 1972
Roman Catholic
Paolo has always been a bookworm, though he had his share of (mis)adventures outside with friends and siblings while growing up.
He was born and raised in Naples, Italy and has long held a deep love for the history of both his home city and his home country. He would spend hours at a time in the library devouring books on both history and mythology, but soon he ran out of those and started absorbing anything else the library had...

Lorenzo is the elder brother of the twins, Alphonz and Olivia. Lorenzo and Olivia own the little bistro in Falcon Grove called Lorenzo’s, all three share in the work of operating it.
The trio were born in New York, though when the twins were very young their parents died and they came out west to live with their aunt Helen in Portland.
Olivia has always had a keen head and eye for business, Lorenzo...
Indie Book Buffet
Well, today is the first of August. So the first issue of the Indie Book Buffetis out. Also their contest is open for all.
Just downloaded the eZine myself, so we’ll see what it’s like. As one might notice from the cover, I’m in it this month. Also I’ve contributed to the contest for this month.
In other news the ABCs thing will resume later today. Sorry for the lapse, but I was rather ill. Hard to concentrate when you feel like you’ve some terrible plague.

A little surreal
So my book is still selling well. Which is weird. Bestsellers list for a week, even hit #1 in Canada for a time.
And now I get a notification (well, yesterday afternoon, but I was busy and nowhere near anything I can type sensibly on) that I’ve reached 100 followers on this blog!
I expected to sell all of four copies that weren’t to my own mother. I expected that this blog would sink to the bottom of the blogosphere with photosofmytoenailclippings.com (I’m NOT going to see if that’s a real site...

Now & Forever ABCs (Nonnino)
4 December 1947
Roman Catholic
Amadeo grew up inPropriano, Corsica. The family held strong ties back to Italy, despite their home being part of France and so taught their children Corsican, and Italian first, French last. He was the son of a fisherman and spent quite a lot of time on the water helping his father as did many of his siblings.
Amadeo never spent much time in school, but he was an avid reader, able to devour whole books in, often, a matter of hours. He...
Now & Forever ABCs (Nonnina)
5 March 1947
Roman Catholic
Rachele was born and raised in Agrigento,Sicily, Italy to a family that was not well off, but was well to-do enough that they always had plenty of good food, and had no trouble keeping clothes on their backs.
She was the second youngest of eight children, and the third — and youngest — daughter. She is rather well educated, her father adamant that a good wife should also have a good mind, so made certain she got to and did w...
