Sharing my cover with Mae

Happy Thursday, everyone!

Sorry that we had no Tuesday Tradition / Guest Writer on this week, but I’m giving my guests a bit of a reprieve this month. Hey, us writers need to take vacations here and there, too! So instead of our usual format, expect some home-grown posts this month and next, as well as, you guessed it, LOTS OF PROMOTION FOR ARMED WITH STEELE!

Yep, gearing up for my August 5th release date. So excited I can hardly type!

Today, as part of that “gearing up”, I’m over at the amazing...

Jessi’s Back!

Happy Tuesday, everyone! For the diehard Tuesday Traditions followers, you’ll recognize the author we have visiting Indiana Wonderer today. It’s Jessi Gage, who stopped by back in April and shared a little about her debut novel, Wishing on a Highlander (which I’ve since read and LOVED). Now she’s returned to share a bit about her latest release, Road Rage. Be sure to catch the full blurb at the end of this interview!roadrage

Please join me in welcoming back Jessi Gage!

A Father’s Day Message

It’s Father’s Day. So today, I thought I’d write a post about Fathers.

Shocker, I know.

And I’m probably going to catch a little slack for this, since I didn’t write a post in honor of the wonderful Mothers in my life last month. But being a mom myself, the day was pretty full with other festivities. Sorry excuse, I know, but I digress…

Today I’m writing in honor of three of my favorite men: my dad, my father-in-law, and my husband. Three very different men who have all greatly influenced my lif...

It’s Katherine Center!

Okay, I am officially humbled. And in seventh heaven.

One of my all time favorite authors agreed to come on board this week at IndianaWonderer — Katherine Center!!

I first discovered Katherine’s books when my sister-in-law Amanda presented me with The Bright Side of Disaster several years back as a birthday gift. It was the kind of book where you’re sad to reach the end because you enjoyed the story so much. The remedy? Run out and buy everything else available from that author! :-) I had her othe...

Without Hesitation

We’re on our way back from a fantastic trip to O-H-I-O, the fam still abuzz with stories from the prior day. The return trip from our extended family is always a bittersweet one. Sweet that we’re home bound, bitter that we are leaving behind the most amazing extended family I know.

Yes, I’ve written about my husband’s infamous extended family before. The one that will always “do it their way”, and do it with arms wide open. Literally. You can’t spend time with them and NOT get hugged, and many...

Release Date Set!

It’s official!

Armed With Steele will be released by Lyrical Press on August 5th, 2013!

In honor of the exciting news, I thought I’d share a little taste with you. Enjoy, and mark your calendars for August 5th!

Excerpt from Armed With Steele: armedwithsteel_small

The plan seemed simple enough. Apply for Grace’s old job at Maxwell, get hired, and then dig for clues while pretending to be an administrative assistant. Only, I didn’t have the foggiest idea how to be an AA. Didn’t know how to answer multi-lined phones, or...
