It's going to be an early launch!

Great news! My editor is going to be done with my book soon and my beta readers are eager to go! I'm so excited - this is my debut novel so I've been nervous. Julie, my editor, is an experienced professional, though, and she tells me it's good. She shared that she has laughed out loud more than once and that in her opinion I pulled off creating sex scenes that were both steamy and funny at the same time. Those words were music to my ears! So, folks, it looks like the end of August may turn into the end of July! More updates to come:)

Who Knew?

I plugged a sample of my writing into an online program.

This program purported to analyze my prose and compare it to well-known authors with the objective of determining who my style most resembled.

The conclusion? Raymond Chandler.

This can only mean one thing. The author of The Big Sleep, creator of the iconic hard-boiled detective Phillip Marlowe, wrote like an author of snarky romance novels.

Who knew?
