Milestone

Not sure, but I think I hit a milestone. I finally feel comfortable enough to just write some days and not promote too every single day. Incidentally, I feel grateful for every single that happens to me as an author! LOL. Well, maybe not everything ... ;)

Thanks so much to Angie Lynch of Smut Book Club, for including The Law of Attraction as a nominee for Funniest Book in the Smut Book Club 2013 Awards. It’s a huge honor to be included with authors like Emma Chase, Kendall Grey and Kylie Scott. I’m a fan of all three, and would be just as happy to see any of them win, because I really appreciate the funny and sexy books they write. Being included with NYT Bestsellers is a really big deal to an indie who’s just starting out.

Thanks everyone who sent your warm thoughts and prayers to me when my dad passed last week. It meant a lot to me. I'm almost done sitting Shiva, and I'm looking to keep busy, so I guess I'm back:) If anyone would ever like me to do a reader chat here, by the way, just let me know. I've done them online, but I've never set one up here before. It might be fun:)

Interesting and Different Book (a rare recommendation from me:)

If you look at my shelves you'll see only 4 and 5 star ratings. That's not because I think every book that I've read is a 4 or 5 star book. Honestly, as an author, I feel kind of weird judging another author's work, so I normally only rate something if I think it deserves 4 or 5 Stars. Well, it's one of those occasions now. I read Adam's Apple by Liv Morris recently and I thought it was a cut above. It's different ... It's written from the male POV and it's truly erotic. The plot is also interesting because there's suspense to it too. It's not the same old same old - no formula. Anyway, it's worth checking out:)

I still haven't gotten used to just having blogs review my books without me asking, so it's always a huge and wonderful surprise - especially when it's really great!
