Educational Fun Children's Books

"Seven Wonders of the Earth" by Anna Othitis is another fun book in the series of "My First travel Books" Educational fun and inspirational and a wonderful way to teach young children about popular and famous and beautiful places of our world. Such natural Earths amazing wonders. Anna truly shows off our Earth to our children. A lovely children's gift which was enjoyed by my children and us as parents we too learned from this book.
A short illustrated page on Our Seven Wonders of The EARTH explains the significance of the places, with information followed by fun questions. An amazing way to learn about the world beyond our own borders from the comfort of their own home, Anna has carefully composed the pages to make them fun and entertaining. It is books like these that children learn and may one day decide to travel abroad. Captain Frankie brings excitement to he readers, young and old in a simple and some rhyming way to keep the children interested and imaginative. The illustrations are colorful and of the real sites as they are seen in real life.
Gifted this book for an honest review this is a 5 star book!

Beautiful and educational picture book

"The Seven Natural Wonders Of The Earth (My First Travel Books)" by Anna Othitis is the second in this series and almost even surpasses the charm of her first book.
In this beautifully drawn and illustrated picture book Captain Frankie takes us to seven amazing beauty spots of the world: The Northern Lights, Victoria Falls, Rio De Janeiro, Mexico, The Grand Canyon, Mount Everest and the Great Barrier Reef.
The impressive and well chosen pictures are followed up with great explanations about the history and background of those wonderful places and by questions, helping the parents and teachers to test what the children have remembered.
Learning can be fun like this and it is sure to make children want to read more about the wonders of the world and travel to some of these destinations one day.
Highly recommended.

Anna Othitis lived and was raised in the beautiful land and country of Zimbabwe, Africa (home will always be home. She left all of her life long memories, endless charity work and good people behind vowing that she will continue supporting the needy children in her land Zimbabwe, Africa and beyond. After traveling long and short distances from the East coast to the West coast twice she and her family eventually found their sense of belonging and final settling destination in New Jersey, USA.
Her husband George, sons Johnny, Elia and Frankie encouraged her to write her first children's book titled "My First Travel Book", inspired by Frankie (Captain Frankie), who is graduating from his Masters degree in Aeronautical Science and beginning his career as a professional pilot. Anna's favorite saying is "Be Bold Be Brave".
She was inspired to write her children's books with a vision to link up the children Africa and of the world on Angelic Airlines to so many beautiful places of interest and popularity on our wonderful planet Earth with all its beautiful some natural and some man made creations and resources. Educational Fun Children's Books

A single bone hung from a thick black wire on her waist belt. It was a dull red and long like that of a human arm bone. The moon caught a glimpse of it and the bone began to emit a soft yellow glow. She glanced at the bone and quickly covered it with her cloak.While she caught her breath she looked down the frosted hill at the gates of one of the oldest, and most massive, kingdoms of the human world. Through the large evergreen trees she saw a city of darkness. The white city stretched for hundreds of miles around the edge of the realm. To one side of the kingdom were pathways that led to lush evergreen forests and beautiful crystalline lakes and rolling hills. Uninhabited, barren, ice lands lay to the other side. Dry ice surrounded the black gates of Auroria’s border. The traces of lights throughout did little to display buildings that sat at the foot of the royal palace. It stood there like a gothic temple, dark and uninviting.It seemed ironic that she would be sent to the human realm. Eura was filled with what were considered the weakest of the races. They were physically strong, but utterly lacking in the power that the other races naturally held. Despite their deficits, the human’s home was where the fate of the world would be secured.These were dark times. The Underworld was in utter chaos. There was a new master and no one was safe. Many of the Elders had been destroyed. Only a few of the stronger Elders had managed to escape with her. They all spread out to the four corners of the world. Anna Othitis lived and was raised in the beautiful land and country of Zimbabwe, Africa (home will always be home. She left all of her life long memories, endless charity work and good people behind vowing that she will continue supporting the needy children in her land Zimbabwe, Africa and beyond. After traveling long and short distances from the East coast to the West coast twice she and her family eventually found their sense of belonging and final settling destination in New Jersey, USA.
Her husband George, sons Johnny, Elia and Frankie encouraged her to write her first children's book titled "My First Travel Book", inspired by Frankie (Captain Frankie), who is graduating from his Masters degree in Aeronautical Science and beginning his career as a professional pilot. A shadow drew Micayta’s eyes to the sky and for a moment she could only stare up in confusion at what seemed to be a large cloud floating slowly by. But as far as she could remember, there had never been clouds at night and certainly none so large, hanging so low over the rooftops. Then a building almost directly across the street exploded in a ball of flames, raining debris down on the street. Micayta stumbled back with a cry, the sudden sight and sound shocking her out of her stupor. She turned to run down a narrow alley between two buildings. Pale moonlight glinted off crimson scales. Another explosion rolled through the night and Micayta lost her footing on a patch of ice. She went down hard on the frosted ground. Her knee cracked against the ground and she cried out. For a moment, she lay panting with her face pressed against the ice. The scent of charred wood came to her on the wind, mixed with another, fouler scent that she could not place. Holding her knee, Micayta rolled over on her back and looked straight up into the face of a nightmare. Two long, black horns curved back from a reptilian face covered in crimson scales; sharp spikes ran all down a serpentine neck that was mottled with a faded shade of orange; clawed feet gripped the edge of the bakery roof; two leathery wings cast a dark shadow over the alley. The dragon’s black eyes gazed at something over the rooftops, seemingly oblivious to Micayta’s presence below.
