Here’s the blurb: Illegitimate Heir FINAL.jpg

This boss broke all the rules for just one night—a night with consequences…

A Beaumont by blood, Zeb Richards has waited years to take the company that’s rightfully his. But ownership of the Beaumont Brewery means dealing with a formidable adversary: brewmaster Casey Johnson. She’s insubordinate and opinionated—so why does Zeb burn to lay claim to the tempestuous beauty?

Casey earned her place at the company she loves, and no CEO—no matter how irresistible—will come between her and her ambitions. Until one night of wild abandon shifts the balance of power. Now Casey is falling for her boss…and expecting his baby!

And now–just for you guys!–a super steamy excerpt!

This is what you want, isn’t it?” Zeb thrust against her. “You want me to take you here, on the countertop, because I can’t wait long enough to get you into a bed?”

Every word was punctuated by another thrust. And every thrust was punctuated by a low moan that Casey couldn’t have held if she’d tried.

“God, yes,” she whimpered as her hips shimmied against his. This was better. Zeb was overpowering her senses, hard and fast. She didn’t want to think. She just wanted to feel.

“I wonder,” he said in a voice that bordered on ruthless, “if I should bite you here,” he said as he traced a pattern on her shoulders with his tongue, “or here—” and he kissed the top of her left breast “—or…here.” With that, he crouched down and nipped her inner thigh, and even though she could barely feel his teeth through the denim, she still shuddered with anticipation. This was better. This was things going according to script.

“D, all of the above.” It was at that point that she discovered a problem. Zeb wore his hair close-cropped—there was nothing for her to thread her fingers through, nothing for her to hold on to as he rubbed along the seam of her jeans, over her very center.

But her hips bucked when he pressed against her. “Look at you,” he growled as he came to his feet. “Just look at you.”

She sucked in a ragged gasp when his hands moved and then he was undoing the button of her jeans and sliding down the zipper.

“I’d rather look at you,” she told him as she lifted one hip and then the other off the countertop so he could work her jeans down. “You are, hands down, the most gorgeous man I’ve ever seen.”

She let her hands skim over his shoulders and down his arms. It wasn’t fair—there wasn’t an ounce of fat on him. She was going to have to revise her opinion of men in suits, she thought dimly as he peeled her jeans the rest of the way off her legs.

“I can’t wait,” he growled in her ear, the raw urgency in his voice sending another shiver of desire through her body. He pulled the thin cotton of her panties to one side and then his erection was grinding directly against her. “Are you on something? Do you have something?”

“I’m on the Pill,” she told him, her hips flexing to meet his. In that moment, she did feel desirable and wanted. His finger tested her body and she moaned into him. She might not be sensual or gorgeous, but she could still do this to a man—drive him so crazy with need that he couldn’t even wait to get her undressed all the way.

“Now,” she told him. “Now, Zeb. Please.”

She didn’t have to ask twice. He positioned himself at her entrance. “You’re so ready for me. God, just look at you.” But he didn’t thrust into her. Instead, it appeared he was actually going to look at her.

She pushed back against her insecurity as he studied her. She knew she couldn’t measure up to his other lovers—a man that looked like him? He could have his pick of women. Hell, she wasn’t even sure why he was here with her—except for the fact that she was…well, available. “Why are you stopping? Don’t stop.”

“Is that how you want it? Hard and fast?” Even as he asked, he moved, pushing into her inch by agonizing inch.

“Zeb.” Even as she wrapped her legs around his hips and tried to draw him in farther. And when that worked only to a point, she wrapped her arms around his waist and dug her fingernails into his back.

That did the trick. With a roar of desire, he thrust forward and sank all the way into her. Oh, God. She took him in easily, moaning with desire. “Is that what you want?”

She heard his self-control hanging by a thread.

So she raked her nails up and down his back—not hard enough to break skin, but more than enough that he could feel it. He withdrew and thrust into her again, this time harder and faster.

“Yes,” she whimpered. “More.” She leaned her head back, lifting her chest up to him. “I need more.”

Without breaking rhythm, he bent down and nipped at her breast again.

“More,” she demanded because she was already so, so close. She needed just a little something to push her over the edge.

“I love a woman who knows what she wants.” He sucked her nipple into his mouth—hard. There was just a hint of pain around the edges of the pleasure and it shocked her to her very core in the best way possible.

“Oh, God—” But anything else she would’ve tried to say got lost as his mouth worked on her and he buried himself in her again and again.

The orgasm snapped back on her like a rubber band pulled too tight, so strong she couldn’t even cry out. She couldn’t breathe—she couldn’t think. All she could do was feel. It was everything she wanted and more. Everything she’d wanted since she’d stormed into his office that very first day and seen him. Ruthless seduction and mind-blowing climaxes and want and need all blended together into mindless pleasure.

Zeb relinquished his hold on her breast and buried his face in her neck, driving in harder and harder. She felt his teeth on her again, just as he promised. And then his hands moved between them and his thumb pressed against her sex as he thrust harder, and this time, Casey did scream. The orgasm shook through her and left her rag-doll limp as he thrust one final time and then froze. His shoulders slumped and he pulled her in close.

“God, Casey…” She took it as a source of personal pride that he sounded shaky. “That was amazing.”

All she could do was sigh. That was enough. She’d take amazing every day of the week.

HOT STUFF!! But you know it’s not going to be *that* easy for Zeb and Casey!

Creating a legacy by Beth Williamson

Hey y’all, Beth Williamson here! Today I wanted to talk about creating a legacy. How do writers do it?

I get asked “where do your ideas come from?”. It’s not a simple answer, like “From the cookie jar” or “The magic tree in the backyard with plot leaves”. LOL. The inspiration for each author comes from a different source, and most times, multiple sources.

The legacy I created with the Circle Eight series was a simple discussion with an editor. She was looking for a “family centric” series. I started noodling on what I loved best about my favorite books and they all revolved around really strong families, as did most of my series to date.

I hadn’t gone back in time to the true wild west of Texas, when the Republic was formed and life was a challenge each and every day. It was a leap of faith that I could pull it off. When I thought about family, it was about forever, about unconditional love and support, which led me to the infinity symbol. Turned on end, it’s an eight. *light bulb moment*

I wanted it to be a typical family in the 1800s, lots of children to work the farm/ranch and help with the younger ones. I had to create a situation where the children would have to rely on each other. I don’t know about y’all, but I’m the youngest of 4 and we fought like cats and dogs growing up. However, your siblings are your closest relatives, the people who should always have your back no matter what.

Choosing the personalities of the Grahams came to me slowly as I wrote book 1, MATTHEW. He was the responsible one who had already been through a war and then his parents’ murder. Strong and unbending, he had to protect his family. (Writing this makes me want to reread his story so much!)

Centering the family around a ranch was the obvious choice given the time period. It became a character of its own, from the big tree behind the house where the family cemetery was to the huge tree that marked the edge of their property. Home.

I put down those roots deep for this legacy, creating the world of the Grahams to share with readers. Each sibling has their own unique story, their own demons, their own needs and wants, and of course, their own true love.

With BENJAMIN‘s release, the circle eight of the past is complete. I turned my attention to the modern day Grahams and started to establish the legacy of these original eight and their descendants. It’s a labor of love to connect them together.

After book 1, LAZARUS, I’ve completed what will be book 2, AUDACIOUS, which is centered around Veronica Meredith Graham (remember one of Matthew’s twin redheaded daughters was named Meredith? :)). It will release on November 8 as part of Sable Hunter’s Hell Yeah! Kindle World. I can’t wait for you to meet Ronnie. She’s audacious.

Happy National Name Your Car Day! by Renee Vincent

img_1664

Renee Vincent’s 1975 Corvette Stingray, “Lady Mara”

I’m a lover of romance novels, horseback riding, and yes, classic cars–Corvettes, to be exact! I own a 1975 Corvette Stingray, and her name is Lady Mara, named after the heroine from my very first romance novel, Raeliksen.

Until yesterday, I didn’t know there was such a thing as National Name Your Car Day, and who knows how this vehicular holiday came about to begin with, but evidently it’s real. It even has its own hashtag: #NameYourCarDay

Cars have been given names for a long time, and I’m betting you remember a few famous ones from the past. I might be showing my age when I mention these, but here goes. There’s Kit from Knight Rider, Herbie from the Love Bug, Christine from Stephen King’s car-killing famous novel, and The General Lee from The Dukes of Hazzard, just to name a few off hand.

RV HeadshotPersonally, I know many people who’ve named their cars, including my late sister, Lindsey. She drove around in a white Toyota Corolla named Sammy. I also recall my father talking to his old pick-up truck when her engine wouldn’t turn over on cold winter mornings. He’d tenderly pat the dashboard, as if to give her a reason to rev up, and call her Betty.

What about you? Have you given your car a name? If so, what is it? I’d love to hear about how you came up with it, so please share you story in the comments below.

If your car remains nameless, well now’s the day to give your car a special and unique alias! Share your new car’s name in the comments below, and I encourage you to share it on social media today using the hashtag #NameYourCarDay.

Tantra Massage–Rhonda Lee Carver

Hi, y’all. Rhonda Lee Carver here!

Who doesn’t love a massage? I often believe this is a treat none of us really allow ourselves enough of, if ever. After visiting with a therapist who specializes in Tantra Massage, I’m a little shocked that we’re not all lined up at the doorways, waiting. While researching (yes, it’s all in the name of research) I asked a friend who has a friend who owns a shop if she’d speak with me. All that I can say is WOW! She uses specific, light touches that are meant to awake a person’s energy. This type of massage is also supposed to make us better lovers. Now I’ll leave that morsel for you to toss around however you like. Watching her do her magical work was amazing, and sensual.

So, why am I researching this topic? Well, don’t be surprised when one of my main characters finds herself getting a Tantra massage, or giving one.

What’s your opinion…Should she be on the giving or receiving end of a Tantra Massage?

I have a holiday release coming October 5th! Do you love a heartwarming, sweet, holiday romance? And for ONLY 99 CENTS! Have you pre-ordered your copy?

Here’s a tidbit…

untitled-2

Buy here!

The last thing she expected were glass slippers and a storybook romance…but the miracle of the holiday will surprise her.

Country singer, Storm Rich, finds himself in a snowstorm on a back road of the Tennessee hills. He’s late for a show and his manager is breathing down his neck. Just when he thinks things can’t get any worse, he swerves to miss a dog and hits the ditch. But an angel comes to his rescue…

Charlie Lindon has suffered heartache most of her life and this Christmas is no exception. After the loss of her daughter she’s never quite been able to pick up the pieces of her broken heart and move forward. However, fate has a gift for Charlie that won’t fit under the tree.

Stuck in the small town, far from home, on Christmas Day, Storm finds refuge, but he’s faced with helping an angel with a broken wing. He’s always been good at flashing his wide smile and dimples and ladies falling all over him, but Charlie isn’t the swooning type. Yet, looking into her eyes he sees more than a distant, shattered woman. He sees beauty, kindness and a fiery spirit.

If they make it until New Year’s Eve, a magical kiss might turn a Christmas fantasy into reality.

Previously published in the boxed set, Ring in a Cowboy. Added scenes make this holiday novella more delish and longer.

Also, I want to show off my contribution to Sable Hunter’s Hell Yeah Kindle World, Letting Go. Releasing November 8th!

Brooke Winslow had the life she wanted until a car accident changed everything for her. People called her “lucky” because she survived, but luck was the last thing she felt when other lives were lost. Guilt plagued her and she hit rock bottom, not wanting to live, no longer wanting to face the images of that fateful night. Who would ever understand? Who would ever accept her secrets?

Tuff McCoy wasn’t a stranger to tragedy. He gained guardianship of his siblings after their parents passed away. He quit the rodeo and moved to Kerrville, Texas to work on Tebow Ranch with his cousins, the McCoy brothers, in an attempt to provide a stable family life. Things started to come together, his brother and sister were smiling again, until the house they live in fell into the hands of a different owner. Will they have to move? How will he put his family through change again?

However, the new landlady ain’t so bad…

In fact, she’s quite enjoyable.

A stick and balls aren’t the only thing Brooke was touching during a game of flirtatious pool at Hardbodies. The table suddenly became a playground of seduction and lust. She and Tuff couldn’t keep their eyes, or their hands, off one another. Things heated up fast in the parking lot, and ignited Kerrville.

What Brooke found in Texas truly touched her soul. Shelter from the storm. A love beyond words. A family to help heal old wounds. But to completely move on, she must let go of the past. Letting go has never been easier said than done.

Where did September Go?

Honestly I have no clue.  It’s been a very busy month for me, mainly with family. It just seems like the days go by so fast that I can’t keep track.

I’ll admit I haven’t written any cowboys lately, not that I don’t love them, I do.  The ideas floating around my head are different types of guys right now.  But I will be submitting a full manuscript in October to a publisher that is a cowboy.  I probably won’t know for several months the outcome, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

So with that in mind, how about some cowboy pictures:

Hope you all have a great day and enjoy the pictures.

Why I Write Western Romance by Paty Jager

CodyI’d feel lower than a snake’s belly if I didn’t inform you all about the charm of western romance novels whether they’re historical or contemporary.

We’ve all felt that visceral pull when a man in tight blue jeans, cowboy boots, T-shirt or a long sleeved work shirt, and a cowboy hat comes into view. Before you even see the face, you sigh. We all watched Bonanza, Gunsmoke, and The Virginian growing up. Or the western movies with John Wayne, Tom Selleck, Sam Elliott… I could go on and on.

In our culture the cowboy means chivalry, honor, duty, loyalty. Traits we all cherish in a hero. That’s why I like to write westerns- historical or contemporary. The cowboy way of life and spirit is embodied in the heroes I write.  My heroes may not all be cowboys, but they have the mentality to fight for what’s right, treat a lady with respect, and love children and animals. The hero, Brock, in Perfectly Good Nanny  an EPPIE Award winner, owns a ranch.  And while he’d do anything to keep his family together, he won’t compromise anyone to do it. He battles the land to keep his family fed and clothed and he battles his own demons while helping the heroine conquer her own.

And the great characters in the secondary western characters… Gabby Hayes, Tonto, Festus, Trampus.  I use the secondary characters I’ve loved in movies and TV shows to make my secondary characters in my books.  In the Halsey books, I have a widowed woman who takes the Halsey brothers under her wing when their parents die. She’s a bit nosy but only because she cares. And though she’s a tiny thing she doesn’t think twice about taking one of the grown brothers by the ear and making them do what’s right. And they listen to her because she is their elder and a woman. A cowboy trait.  In Perfectly Good Nanny the sidekick is an elderly Klamath Indian who helps the hero’s daughter order a nanny online, sets the hero straight when he needs someone to vent to, and finds a way to disappear when trouble is brewing. A good secondary character gives levity to a story in my opinion.

Another reason I write westerns could be the fact I grew up riding horses on a 200 acre ranch and exploring the mountains around our house. The early 1900’s ranch house we lived in had a wood cookstove, an outhouse, and a woodshed, also an earth cellar. We butchered chickens and rabbits, made butter and ice cream. I lived a life similar to the lives of the characters in my historical books. Owning 350 acres raising hay and cattle, I live the country life that I put into my contemporary westerns.

Western romance books whether they’re historical or contemporary are about the lifestyle and the cowboy way of life that we all love: God, country, respect, honor, loyalty, and duty. And that’s why I write westerns.

Why do you like westerns?  Who is your favorite western character either in a book, movie, or TV show? Why?

And excerpt from Perfectly Good Nanny

Perfectly Good Nanny 900x1200Carina pushed strands of wet hair off her face as the lightning illuminated the sagebrush dotted landscape. She smiled. You’d never see a sight like this in Chicago. She held her breath watching nature’s artistry.

“Ms. Valencia, are you going to come in out of the rain?” Brock’s deep, soothing voice chased away the chills of her rain-soaked clothing.

The screen door creaked open, and she stepped through the doorway. Standing inside the door, she looked down at the puddle around her feet.

“Oh, I’m so sorry.” She hurried to the utility sink, grabbed a hand towel, and dropped it on the puddle, sopping the water from the well-worn linoleum. Her wet hair fell into her face. She pushed it back and stopped. Brock’s large hand grasped her upper arm, hauling her to her feet.

“Why don’t you get into some dry clothes?” His gaze moved from her chest to her eyes with reluctance.

Carina glanced down. Her nipples were vivid peaks against her clinging, wet, silk shirt.

“Good idea.” She hurried down the hall and up the staircase to the guest room. Closing the door behind her, she leaned against it.

The heat glistening in his eyes as he told her to change reflected a man who hadn’t spent an evening with a woman in a while. The grip on her arm branded her skin. Wiping a hand across her warm face, she quelled any sexual reaction she might have to the man. She needed a place to heal, without any distractions.

Do Jeans Make the Cowboy? By Paty Jager

canstockphoto2249274

Levi Strauss made the first pair of blue jeans in 1873. He, and another man, Jacob Davis, received the patent to put rivets on the points of strain on a pair of denim pants.  They were first called “waist overalls” or “overalls”.  The pants were a hit with men who worked hard and put their clothing through lots of wear and tear.

In 1947 Wranglers authentic western jean was introduced by a celebrity rodeo tailor. Professional rodeo cowboys Jim Shoulders, Bill Linderman, and Freckles Brown wear-tested the 13MWZ and endorsed the Wrangler name for durability, quality and authenticity. Since then the Wrangler brand has been the only jean officially endorsed by the Pro Rodeo Cowboy Association.

Which brings us to rodeo. The NFR is happening December 1-10th in Las Vegas, Nevada. There is nothing like watching tight, toned, cowboys wandering around the Thomas and Mack Center.

My December re-release, Bridled Heart, has a bare back bronc rider as the hero and the last quarter of the book takes place during the National Finals Rodeo. I’m setting up a Facebook party to celebrate the rodeo and my re-release of Bridled Heart on Friday, December 2nd.  I’ll have other author guests who write about rodeos and we’ll be giving away prizes. I’ll have the event set up by my posting next month.

Here is a preview of Bridled Heart:

“Why do you help with this event?” He laced his fingers together resting his hands on the table in front of him. His coffee-colored gaze held admiration.

She dropped her gaze and picked at her napkin. His interest was flattering, and he hadn’t attended the event just to inflate his image. If that had been his agenda, he would have stayed to be photographed with the person who purchased his art.  She peered into his smiling face. He waited so patiently for her to answer.  By this time most men would have given up on her and moved on to someone else. She searched his eyes. He seemed genuinely interested.

She took a deep breath and hoped she wasn’t going to regret divulging more. “I see so many children in the ER rooms who…” she turned her head and chewed on her cuticle. When they arrived needing her care, she put aside her emotions and did the job, but afterward, she always broke down. How could a parent do that to a child? She knew how it felt to grow up feeling different.

He placed a hand over the one on the table. “It’s okay, you don’t have to tell me. I can see their plight affects you.” He squeezed her hand. “I could tell when you were playing the piano your heart is filled with sorrow.”

She stared into his eyes. The sincerity of his words and the acceptance of her pain, even though he thought it was all for others made her want to weep. She hadn’t had anyone care about her in so long, she didn’t know how to act.

Jerking her hand out from under his, she stood. “I have to go.”

“Wait.” He snagged her hand as she grabbed her coat from the back of her chair. “Do you have a phone number?”

He held her firm but gentle. Warmth spiraled up her arm and settled in her chest. Why didn’t she feel frightened or invaded by this man? She shook her head. She didn’t want to see him again. If she did, it would be hard to remain faithful to her vow. He’d started to seep into the empty cracks created over the years.

Available in ebook and print – December 1st.

This story deals with a woman overcoming childhood sexual abuse and the one man with the compassion and determination to help her.

New Cowboy Series

Hi, it’s Donna Michaels and I’m excited to share my new cover to the first book in my new cowboy series with Entangled Publications!

IN A RANGER’S ARMS releases November 28th and is Book 1 in The Men of At Ease Ranch series about former Army Rangers who own a Texas ranch which welcomes veterans to help them transition back to civilian life. The men also own and operate a construction company that employs veterans. This is a romcom series under their Lovestruck Imprint, and I’m very excited to share a little bit of it with you today.

No amount of training could’ve prepared him for her.

inarangersarms_500

Blurb:

Former Army Ranger Stone Mitchum doesn’t have time for sex. Since starting a company with his brother and two buddies, he’s had more important things on his mind. Like transitioning veterans back into society. But when his curvy new tenant falls into his arms—literally—his libido snaps to attention.

Jovy Larson has four weeks to prove she’s worthy of taking over the family business. Her challenge? Sell gluten-free, vegan food—in the middle of cattle country, Texas. It’s a tough task, but not half as tough as fighting her attraction to her sexy, surly landlord.

Before she knows it, Jovy’s tangling sheets with the hot cowboy, stalked by a jealous cow, and strategizing ways to help Stone’s ranch. But by the time her lease runs out and the test is over, she’s faced with a new challenge…competing against Stone’s sense of duty to win his heart.

Short Hot Excerpt :

“Take the reins,” he ordered, his voice tight with need as he placed them in her hand.

She stiffened. “Wait…what do I do?”

“Just hold them evenly and taut like this,” he instructed. “Galahad will continue on a slow, steady pace.”

“I’m not s—oh.” She inhaled when he slid his newly freed hand up her bare thigh.

God, she was soft.  And spread open. He was grateful she had her short shorts on again because it gave him easy access to her beautiful body. He stroked a finger over her trembling upper thighs.

“Stone.” She sucked in another breath. “Are you sure it’s safe to do this?”

No. No it wasn’t. She was killing him, making him want things, need things, do things he shouldn’t. But, she had a big day ahead of her. She needed to relax, and he knew exactly how to help.

“Yes. It’s okay,” Stone replied, desire making him reckless, making him forget their no touching pact. She seemed to have forgotten, too. “Just hold onto those reins and stay still. Let me do all the work. Let me take care of you.”

Exciting news! Dark Secrets now on audio

I am so excited! My book, DARK SECRETS, part of Decadent Publishing’s Freewill, Wyoming series, is now out in audio. Meet my hero, Hawk Blackwater, who I promise will haunt your dreams.

*****Comment for a chance to win an audio version*****

Want to check it out? Here is the link to a sample:

Hawk Blackwater thought Freewill, Wyoming was the place to get his life back together. Riley Scott thought it the best place to hide, half a country away from those hunting her. For Hawk his focus was on finding the killer of the previous sheriff and discovering the cause of the mysterious lights in the Laramie Mountain. For Riley her goal was to stay under the radar until she could get damning evidence to the right authorities. Neither realized they were on a collision course, or that the explosive chemistry between them would change both of their lives.

Excerpt:audio-dark-secrets

“Interesting, “ Hawk commented, watching the woman leave the restaurant. “Wonder what her secret is?”

Brady lifted an eyebrow. “Secret? How do you even know she’s got one?”

“Instinct. Half lawman, half Yavapai. All the signs are there. If I didn’t know better I’d think she might have something to do with John Foster’s death. Or even the lights in the Laramies that come and go.”

“How do you know she’s not?” Brady asked.

“If she’d killed Foster or been a party to it, she’d be long gone, not hanging around here. Besides, she showed up months after the murder. But I wonder if she has something to do with these strange lights that are driving me crazy.”

Brady frowned. “What makes you think that?”

Hawk shrugged. “The lights didn’t show up until a couple of weeks after she got here. And she sure acts like she’s got something to hide. ”

“Maybe she’s running away from something,” Brady suggested. “Or someone. Don’t you think that’s more likely? She lands here in a place that’s not exactly a destination spot for people. Unless they’re going to the Misbegotten Gaines Ranch. She doesn’t exactly reach out to people. Just keeps to herself. As far as I know the only places she goes besides work are the bookstore, Wyoming Eats and the grocery.”

“She’s not on any Wanted list. Could be she just likes her own company.”

“If you’re so curious you could always drop in at Books and More and the two of you could have a reading hour together.” Brady grinned. “You do read, don’t you, Hawk?”

Hawk made a face. “Very funny. But I might just drop by Darnell’s place. I’m out of feed for the horses and few other things.”

“You could always call in your order.” Brady laugh. “Save yourself a trip.”

Hawk just shook his head shoved his hands in his ranch jacket and walked towards the feed store.

Leave it alone. You have other things more important to focus on.

But he hadn’t been able to get her out of his mind. He didn’t know why she was bugging him. She certainly wasn’t any of his business, but his curiosity was on full alert. As was another part of his body. Deliberately he tamped down the feelings surging through him. He had no business letting himself get involved with anyone. Especially someone who was obviously carrying a pound of trouble.

Go back to your office. Haven’t you got enough going on without piling on more?

But his feet kept moving in the direction of Freewill Feed and Supplies, trying to remind himself he had more important things than scoping out a woman doing her best to blend into the background. One of these days his curiosity was going to get him into real trouble.

Western Romance Conference – by Cynthia D’Alba

Cyndi Headshot #4I’m spending way too much time on Facebook these days. Yesterday and today, I have really enjoyed looking at all the pictures from the Historical Romance Conference taking place over the weekend. It looks like SO much fun. Have you seen the pictures and all the costumes?

I know there are a ton of Western Romance readers, both historical and contemporary western romance. In fact, this blog is only one of a number of online sites dedicated to readers of western romance.

So I’m putting this question out to the western romance readers…If there was a Western Romance Conference held on a dude ranch, or close enough that events could be held there, is this something that YOU would spend money and vacation time to attend? Would it maybe ruin the cowboy fantasy?

The blog is sponsored today by CADILLAC COWBOY   kindle-world-cover-for-cc

Do you have my book on YOUR Kindle?

If not, Why Not? It’s a buck and 99 cents! Click on the title above and you’ll go directly to Amazon!

If so, have you posted a review? If yes, THANK YOU!!

If no, PLEASE follow the link (click on title above) and leave a review. I really need to get up to 100 reviews. Somehow that affects the Amazon algorithms for the book’s visibility. (I have no idea how it works. Just trust me, okay?)

You have no idea what my book is about? How about a blurb…

A Texas lawman finds more than fall foliage during a drive in an antique convertible Cadillac to his new home.

Newly-hired Texas cop Shade Gruber agrees to drive his grandmother’s prize car from Chicago to his new home in Big Branch. He expects some car issues. He doesn’t expect to pick up a runaway bride.

On the run from her mobster fiancé, Victoria Vaught dashes from the church thirty minutes before the I Do’s. Stranded in her bridal attire by an unreliable car, she starts walking, needing as far from Chicago as possible.

Their road to love is filled with twists, turns and bumps. Hanging on to the one you love can be roller coaster ride with surprising results.

Be sure to answer my questions above.

THANK YOU for coming by on Saturday.

Do you have a college team you are rooting for?

For me, it’s WOOOOOOOOOOOO Pig Sooie! 8ie6gxkbt
