Every person has a story to tell. Some may be sweet with a happily ever after, but there are others that end in tragedy. Mine has yet to be finished. My name is Elizabeth Kingston and this is where my story begins.I never thought my life could be so perfect. I have an amazing job owning my own bakery, and a wonderful husband who I love and who loves me back. Never once did I have to worry about anything, at least, not until the texts started coming in. They always begin the same way … numbers that spell my nickname when read upside down.31773It’s someone from my past, only they won’t to tell me who they are, but that by talking to them, I’ll figure it out. It’s a game I refuse to play. Unfortunately, I’m left with no choice when things begin to take a dangerous turn. His name is Anonymous and there’s only one thing he wants … ME.
Renee Entress’ Book Blog - “DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!”

Heather Lovelace - “Holy moly! This book...the pace wouldn’t let up. The perfect combination of tension and drama and romance and just overall fabulousness.”
Rebecca Edwards - “Ellie's story will leave you on the edge of your seat wanting more”

This was a different kind of book and kind of creepy. It had twists and turns. It kept you on the edge of your seat - I didn't know what to expect or what was going on. All I really knew is that I was going to think next before my next date lol!! Again, I think this author hit it out of the ballpark.

Title: CruiseA Moonshine Task Force Series NovelAuthor: Laramie BriscoeGenre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: May 4, 2018

Blurb
The kid is now a man, and he’s got something to prove…..

Caleb “Cruise” Harrison

“A Dad is a son’s first hero……”

All my life I’ve looked up to my Dad, there’s nothing I ever wanted to do more than be a member of the Moonshine Task Force right next to him. I said no to playing football professionally to stay in Laurel Springs and fulfill my dream.

I’m biding my time, paying my dues, and soaking up any bit of information my fellow MTF members slip my way. To most of them I’m the kid they watched grow up, and while they’re proud of me, they don’t take me seriously.

Life is status quo until the morning all hell breaks loose in our small town threatening everyone I know and love – including the one woman I can’t get out of my head.

Ruby Carson

“My favorite place? In his arms……”

Caleb saved me from the worst date of my life, swooping in like the fixer he is. Smiling his panty-melting grin, he grabbed my hand, and extricated me from the longest ninety minutes known in the history of the world.

Instead, he took me on the best date I’ve ever had. We’ve been inseparable since that crazy night.

It hasn’t been picture-perfect. His job is dangerous, it worries me, even when he tells me not to. One gorgeous summer day, it all comes crashing down on us.

The man who has my heart is in the middle of a FUBAR situation that has no good ending. My hope is, when the smoke clears Caleb walking towards me, arms out-stretched, with that grin on his face, before he envelopes my body into the hug only he can give.

That’s what would happen in a perfect world – but I’ve never known a perfect world – not even with Caleb……

REVIEW
This was a good part of the moonshine series and if anyone is a fan, then they should read it. Caleb's been throughout the whole series - in and out and we've practically watched him grow up and now he's falling in love. It was fun watching him do it. I don't know if they're going to have another one but if they are, then I'll be reading that one too.

I love all thing LLV, however - I loved Peter Parker Penn!! Y'all he had to be my favorite...even more than Ghost. He rated right up there with Counter to My Intelligence!! I loved him sooo hard!! What he went through losing his nephew and then his sister?! The way his dad treated him? And then there is Kayla and she is a breath of fresh air who has her own demons and he wants to slay them. Gosh, this was the best book in forever!! I want to buy the paperback of this and keep it. I was shocked at how much I loved Parker and his damaged dog, but I did and so will y'all because this was so character driven.

I don't hand out my 5 stars readily and I don't give praise where it isn't earned. However, I loved Scarlett and Rowdy. I loved that he was the good guy in this and he wasn't ashamed to be that way. Everything about this book had "feel good" vibes!! I loved that every Friday Scarlett would go back to Jock Row and every Friday, Sterling would keep her on the porch so he could keep her to himself and they would play "Never Have I Ever" or "Would you Rather?" My favorite part of the book was where they would play "Never Have I Ever" and the honesty between them. This was a cute, funny and campy book. You won't be disappointed if you read it!!

I absolutely adored this book. I read it as an ARC and then immediately got it once it came out because I wanted to see the finished product. What I loved about this book were the characters. They are relatable, they're flawed and they're funny. So some people are complaining that the book ends at like 68 percent, but what they don't realize is that this is a 60,000-word count book and that the page turns cause the book to also move slower. So, had the author made it like a 100 percent - you'd be reading this book for at least a couple weeks. I loved Maverick and Delaney. I thought that this was probably one of the best sports romances of the year. It wasn't OTT in the sexual content department, it had a plot, storyline that was worth reading and it kept the readers attention right from the get-go. I found myself really loving these characters and being invested in them. The storyline of Maverick and his homelife tugged at my heartstrings and made me want to wrap him in my arms and tell him everything would be okay. His sister having had a TBI was handled tactfully, truthfully and with great ease. She was a breath of fresh air. I even liked Delaney's cheating ex and hope he gets with her roommate because there was a little spark there.
I loved everything...all the way down to Han Solo the cat!! The text messages back and forth from He-Man and how Maverick slowly, but surely won Delaney over. He'd had a crush on her since the freshman party and it was so sincere and cute the way he tried to woo her. I thought this was well-written and oh so funny at times. I think those that want to read an uplifting book about overcoming, persevering and falling in love - should read this book.

Title: Perfect Love Story Series: Love #1Author: Natasha MadisonGenre: Contemporary RomanceRelease Date: May 1, 2018Cover Design: Melissa Gill at MGBookCoversWhen one man’s death exposes a complex web of lies, three couples discover the true meaning of love, loss and redemption. Hailey What do you do when you find out your whole life was a lie? That your husband really wasn't your husband but someone else's. That the vows you made to each other were simply empty promises. You pick up and move to the country to start fresh. When life hands you limes, you make sure you have tequila because your life is about to get stirred up.Jensen Married to my high school sweetheart, the best thing she gave me was my baby girl. But we weren't enough for her. I wasn't enough for her. The last thing I expected on my birthday was a Dear John letter, but that’s what I got when she upped and left. Now, it's just me and my girl against the world till the new girl moves in next door. Is there such a thing as a perfect love story?

Chapter OneHailey “Hello.” Turning down “Glorious” by Macklemore blasting in the background while I washed the kitchen floor with Pine Sol and water, I answer the phone after the first ring.
“It’s me.” I hear my best friend and cousin, Crystal, say from the other end. “Where are you?” I can’t see her face, but I know something is wrong. Even though she’s asked me that question a million times before, this time it’s different. There is no carefree tone. This time, it’s curt and to the point with no laughter in her voice.
“I’m home,” I say, almost whispering as my hand shakes against my ear. My mouth suddenly goes dry, my neck starting to get hot. Something inside my stomach suddenly drops when a slow burn sets in.
“You need to come to the hospital.” Crystal is an emergency room nurse at St. Mary’s, so whatever feeling I was having before has now doubled. “Blake is on his way to get you.” When she mentions my brother, I now know something is gravely wrong. The honk outside doesn’t allow me to question her any further. “You need to get in the car, okay?” she says softly but firmly. “Listen to me, Hailey. Go outside and get here.” My head nods as the hand holding my phone to my ear falls away.
The front door opens, and Blake comes in, looking at me with sorrow and sadness. His brown eyes meet mine briefly, and then he looks down. He doesn’t say anything to me; he simply holds out his hand to me. I put my hand in his, and he leads me out to his truck. He opens the door for me, helping me take that step in.
As I’m looking at him, he pulls the seat belt over my chest and buckles me in. My mind’s still playing the phone call, trying to dissect the conversation. Trying to find one little word that can be the clue. “It’s going to be okay.” His voice breaks through the haze.
I nod my head at him, then he steps back and shuts the door, jogging over to his side. He gets in and puts the truck in drive. I’m on the outside looking in, watching my life fall apart without knowing it.
The only thing I’m certain of is that the sun is shining without a cloud in the sky. As I watch a bird soar through the sky almost in the same direction we are going, I think to myself, Bad things don’t happen when it’s sunny outside, right?
I watch the bird, not even realizing we’ve made it to the hospital. I don’t have a chance to open my door because Blake has it opened before I even think to reach for the handle. “You’re going to be okay,” he assures me as he raises his baseball cap to run his hands through his short dark hair.
“What’s going on?” I have a feeling my entire life is about to change, so I beg him to tell me before we walk through those doors. Blake doesn’t answer. He just reaches down to grab my hand and lead me through the revolving doors.
The harsh smell of antiseptic immediately fills my nose. Voices bombard me, though, none of them are familiar. Glancing around, I take in the hustle and bustle of the emergency room. My heartbeat echoes in my ears as I try in vain to locate a familiar face. I just need to know who we’re here for.
As we silently walk down the corridor, my mind never stops thinking about why we are here. I look up at Blake, asking the one question that makes my heart squeeze with such intense pain, it feels like it might explode.
“Is it Mom? Dad?” I can hear the pleading in my tone. He gives me nothing, continuing to look straight ahead. My eyes go back to the floor, following the tile pattern as we make our way beyond the entrance to the emergency room. The first thing I see is both of my parents, alive and healthy. My mother has tears running down her cheeks, and my father has his arm around her shoulders. They are standing next to the nurses’ station. I look back at Blake in horror. “Is it Nanny?”
He doesn’t have time to answer because Crystal comes out from behind the nurses’ station in her everyday uniform of blue scrubs and Crocs, wearing a stethoscope around her neck.
With one glance at her face, I stop my feet in their tracks. My feet are stuck to the floor as if someone crazy glued them to that spot. I can see the hurt and tears in her eyes. She looks at me with her head tilted sideways, her bottom lip trembling. My body blocks any movements I try to make. I try to advance to Crystal, but I can’t. My knees start to give out, and a horrible shrieking sound comes from somewhere.
I try turning my head to see where the yelling is coming from, but I can’t. I’m on my hands and knees in the hospital corridor. It isn’t until the coldness seeps through my hands that I realize I’m the one screaming. That wretched sound is coming from me. Me. My throat raw, my eyes burning, and my heart irrevocably broken. No words need to be said. No confirmation given. I don’t need them to bring me to a place where we can “talk quietly.” It’s at that moment I finally know what everyone else knows.
My husband is dead.

This was a little different than I'm used to from this author.  I'm used to her mafia books, her innocent YA novels, even her Paranormal Romances...what I wasn't prepared for was her steamy, almost R-rated read LOL.  Shawn wasn't your cookie cutter college girl that you usually read about. She's basically living with 4 guys and those guys have one thing one their mind...women. Lots and lots of women. However, it's not in the way that you think and Knox is a little bit of a sad dude. The moaning. I put a pillow over my face and screamed. Not because it was too loud. But because I kept wondering who was causing it. One? Two? All three? Leo and Finn had both tried to talk to me in class and at the coffee shop again. I’d brushed them off but been polite. And Knox? Well, let’s just say that Knox had suddenly turned over a leaf that said, “Go out of my way to make Shawn’s life miserable.” He was suddenly everywhere. And with a different female every single day. It drove me insane. Bat-shit crazy. And he wasn’t even mine to go senseless over! The moan happened again. “That’s it!” I got up from my bed, stomped over to the door, and jerked it open. Then I pounded my way over to their room and almost took down the door with my knock . When Leo answered, he grinned down at me. “Come to play?” I gave him the finger. His eyes narrowed. “I’m confused. Is that yes or no?” “Agh!” I threw my hands up in the air. “I have practice tomorrow at five a.m. It’s three. I’ve had one hour of sleep. Can you please keep the moaning to a minimum?” “You seem stressed.” He tilted his head just as Finn joined him in the doorway. “Doesn’t she?” “Very.” Finn nodded then reached out and started massaging my right trap while Leo grabbed my hand and worked my fingers. It felt so damn good that I forgot I was pissed for about two seconds before I pulled away. “No.” I jabbed my finger at each of their chests. “Shame on you. Stop using your skills to make me less crazy. I need sleep.” “I could not agree more.” Leo put his hand over his chest. “If you want, I can come over and—” “No!” I made a fist with my hands. “I don’t need you to help me sleep. I need you to keep your clients quiet so that I can sleep. Big difference.” Knox appeared then and held out a pair of Bose noise-canceling headphones. “You can borrow them every Friday as long as you don’t set them on fire when you’re done.” “Do you think I really want whatever STDs are crawling around the surface?” I hissed. His eyes turned lethal. “Then I guess you won’t sleep.” “Dun, dun, dun,” Finn sang in a low voice, just as a small lady who could pass as my grandmother made an appearance and shoved a fifty-dollar bill in Knox’s pants then patted him on his rock-hard six-pack. She had a full-on red wig perched backward on her head and cherry red cheeks with black glasses that she kept shoving up her nose. And her purse looked like something I would have seen on I Love Lucy. It was this giant black clutch that probably held cough drops and prunes. “Thanks, boys.” “Love you, Edna!” Finn called while Leo brushed a kiss across her hand. She finger-waved at Knox and straight-up waddled out of the suite. I stared after her, my jaw dropping with each step she took until she was out of eyesight. “What…” I shook my head. “…I mean, seriously, guys, what?” Finn’s eyes got serious. “She’s lonely.” “She’s at least eighty!” I yelled, so exhausted I was actually arguing with crazy. Knox got all up in my business and said through clenched teeth, “Her husband died a year ago. She’s not comfortable with internet dating yet. We’re easing her in because she wants a partner for life, someone she can laugh with, so if we can give her that one laugh, that nice touch once a week, we’re going to fucking do it. Now jump off that pedestal, take the damn Bose, and go to sleep.” Blog Tour (19).jpg
