Not being a fan of golf, this was a hard book to get into for me. I liked the characters and the plot seemed intriguing, however, the golf aspect was sort of lost on me. I'm the kind of person who would be reading during a golf game. I know the storyline was close to the authors heart because it deals with Addysons disease and the ramifications behind it. That part of the book I enjoyed but I found myself flipped over the golf parts. I missed the suspense of LP Dovers usual books. That doesn't mean I won't still read everything she puts out!

This was a cute premise that was kind hit or miss in some spots. At times, I liked it and at other times I loved it. I couldn't put my finger on what it was but something about this book just got me at time. I guess it was the stuttering which sounds really awful but true. It wasn't true to life and I couldn't see it really happening. I would read this author again and any other book she has but it would need to maybe be a different premise.

I really loved Brandon - I loved that he wanted to be there and every time he left he just wanted to come back. He wasn't the playboy that everyone thought he was...once he found the one - that was it and he tried everything he could think of to get the girl. I love a good sports romance and when done right, it can be really good. I am really loving this series so far and the chemistry between these two were as cute as can be. I loved Liv and her protectiveness, but Jayne...that woman needed a good running over, preferably with a car. There was equal parts angst, drama and funny in this to make it a home run!

The third book is definitely the best. The characters are more fleshed out, it's funnier, it's more of a storyline and it has more depth. I loved getting more continuation of our slayer and her posse. They just gelled more in this one than the previous ones and the humor was great. This really reminds me of Buff the Vampire Slayer and whoever says it doesn't- they're just lying!!
