I'm revealing the cover for CROSSROADS today!!! I LOVE it and I hope you guys do as well!

After divorcing the woman he’d been with since he was seventeen, Nick Fuller is starting over. He owns the restaurant of his dreams and he’s determined to meet new people, find new passions, and experience life to its fullest. Neither man has ever wanted another guy, but there’s a connection between them from the start—a spark they can’t deny. They find themselves navigating an unfamiliar new world and dealing with unforeseen obstacles. Physical desire isn’t enough, and now Nick and Bryce are at a crossroads. Rock Solid

The day has arrived! ROCK SOLID is available.

I have to admit, this is a special book for me. Trevor's story is special to me. He's a recovering addict who's doing his best to get through every day. I've known quite a lot of people in my life who have suffered from addiction. It's tough disease to beat, and it's something you deal with for the rest of your life. Not just you, but your loved ones as well. I hope I did Trevor's journey justice. I hope the people in my life who have battled addiction will be proud :)

I'm excited to share Trevor and Simon's story with you. Despite what Trevor is going through, I had SO much fun with these two men. They broke my heart, make me laugh, and swoon...and yeah, they are SEXY! This book felt like coming home to me in some ways. It felt really GOOD to write it and I hope you guys love it as much as I do.

Trevor Dixon has made too many mistakes to count. Sober for thirteen months, he’s determined to do the right thing: rebuild his relationship with his family, and help his brother get Rock Solid Construction off the ground. Failing them again isn’t an option. Too bad the first estimate Trevor goes on alone is for an uptight doctor with a superiority complex.

A hand injury took away the only important thing in Dr. Simon Malone’s life—performing heart surgery. He doesn’t do well with people and has no family, but being a damn good surgeon? He always had that. Now, he doesn’t know who he is. The last thing he wants to deal with is the young construction worker who blows his shot at remodeling Simon’s home.

Trevor and Simon form an unlikely friendship. The more time they spend together, the more Trevor starts wondering if maybe Simon’s not as straight—or uptight—as he thought…and maybe Trevor’s new attraction for Simon runs both ways.

There are too many reasons they shouldn’t be together: they have little in common, their age difference, Trevor needing to focus on his sobriety…yet there’s something about each other that they just can’t shake. They don’t feel so lost when they’re together. But with their footing so unsteady, forming a relationship that’s rock solid seems impossible. There’s blow after blow, and the last one just might be powerful enough to crack their foundation for good.

Excerpt:

He pulled out of his shirt when he got to their room, and sat on the foot of the bed, facing the bathroom. He could hear the water running. Thought about going in to join Trevor, but instead he waited.

It didn’t take long before the water shut off, and another minute later Trevor stepped out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist, his hair wet and a mess. Simon wanted to grab onto it. Wanted to lick every one of the ridges of muscle in Trevor’s stomach. He wanted to suck the piercing in Trevor’s nipple. Wanted to bury his face in the hair at his crotch. Christ, the man was sexy.

“Come here.” He used his index finger to wave Trevor over. He came easily, standing between Simon’s legs. “I’m not good at this,” he admitted.

“We’re both going to screw up,” Trevor replied.

“No. Not with this. I’m the only one screwing up with us. But I’m trying.” He trailed a finger down Trevor’s chest, and to the edge of his towel before pulling it free. Trevor was hard underneath, a bead of pre-come already at the tip, waiting for Simon. “I’ll keep trying, if you let me. Don’t…don’t give up on me.” He’d never said those words to anyone, but he needed to say them to Trevor.

And then he leaned forward, let his tongue circle the head of Trevor’s erection, tasting the salty come there.

He fucking loved it.

ROCK SOLID cover reveal

I can't explain to you guys how excited I am to share the cover of ROCK SOLID with you guys today. It's a little different than my other covers, but I'm so in love with it. Trevor is so sexy and I love how clean the cover looks. Plus, there are tattoos, abs, and a nipple piercing :)

I have a small confession to make...this book is pretty special to me. I think Trevor and Simon's love story might be one of my favorite I've written. I loved watching them fall. My heart went out to Trevor because of his demons. This series will be more similar to Blackcreek, than Broken Pieces but Trevor is dealing with something that is pretty heavy (though it's not a super angsty book). I hope you guys love the cover, blurb and excerpt. I hope you'll love Trevor and Simon's love story even more.

Excerpt:
The lamp beside the bed was on. Trevor laid on his back, fully clothed with an arm slung over his eyes.

It wasn’t the first time he took in how incredibly sexy Trevor was. His T-shirt rode up, showing tanned skin and hard muscles, dark hair that disappeared below his pants.

The tattoo that got Simon hard when before Trevor he'd seen them as mutilating your skin.

His lips that Simon liked to kiss. His facial hair and how it felt against Simon’s skin. Trevor’s face held his youth, except a couple little lines by his eyes where he obviously spent a lot of time squinting in the sun. He needed to wear sunglasses. He looked as young as he was, but it was his eyes that told a different story. His eyes spoke of all the things he had seen.

And suddenly, Simon wanted to take away some of what hid behind Trevor’s closed eyelids. Wanted to take away whatever made him so distant tonight.

But he didn’t ask. Instead he walked over, sat on the edge of the bed, and kissed Trevor’s slightly-parted lips.

He grabbed onto Trevor’s hair because he seemed to like that, and let his tongue dip into Trevor’s opening mouth. Trevor returned the kiss instantly. Simon nipped at Trevor’s lip, let his hand drift down Trevor’s body, but then suddenly, Trevor rolled, pulling Simon with him. His towel came loose when he went.

Now on his knees, Trevor said, “Lie down.”

“This is for you.” Simon wanted to do something to make Trevor feel good, not the other way around.

“It will be,” he replied. “Lie down. On your stomach.” Trevor pressed down on Simon’s back until he went. Then Trevor was there, between Simon’s legs, spreading him wide, his legs, and then the cheeks of his ass.

He couldn’t form a clear thought before… “Oh God…” This was new. This was incredible. Trevor’s tongue brushed back and forth over his asshole. He should stop this. He wanted this to be about Trevor but…his tongue brushed Simon’s hole again, little flicks back and forth before adding more pressure.

Simon pushed back into Trevor, then moved forward. Tongue on his ass, his cock thrusting against the bed. He knew people did this, of course. He’d thought about it himself, but he hadn’t. “Trev…”

“You like this, don’t you? Wanted to do it for a while but didn’t know if it would freak you out.” And then his face was there again, buried between Simon’s cheeks as he licked at him. Simon couldn’t stop himself from fucking the bed, shoving his ass backward, wanting Trevor as close to him as he could get. Little jolts of pleasure shot through him each time Trevor’s tongue brushed over him.

Trevor’s tongue was suddenly gone. “You have such a sexy hole. So tight and hungry for my tongue. I could spend all night eating you.”

Simon looked back to see him stick a finger into his mouth, and then he tensed up as Trevor pushed it inside.

“Relax,” was all Trevor said, and then it was a combination of tongue and finger, the texture of the comforter against his erection.
Trevor’s tongue moved faster. His finger pressed in deeper, touched Simon’s prostate, and rubbed it.

The feeling was too much. Simon tried to hold it off, wanted this to last, wanted Trevor to come first, wanted a whole lot of things, but his dick had something else in mind.

He came in two long spurts, come on his stomach, the blanket, yet he still kept moving, Trevor still kept licking him. “All night,” Trevor whispered. “My mouth and your ass.”

Yes. He wanted that but, it wasn’t all he wanted. As much as it killed him, Simon rolled over, grabbed Trevor to pull Trevor up to him, but he fought Simon. Pausing at Simon’s stomach, he licked the semen there. Simon’s prick jerked, still half hard. Christ, that was the sexiest thing he’d ever seen.

“I like eating every bit of you I can. Taste so fucking good,” Trevor said.

Their eyes briefly caught before Trevor turned, something hiding in them. That’s what made Simon reach for him again. Made Simon pull Trevor to him, hands on each side of his face. “What’s wrong?” he asked. “You know I’m here. You can talk to me.”

The words hadn’t been quite as hard as he thought they would be.

LOSING CONTROL is live!

Ben is finally here (on Amazon so far. Kobo, Barnes and Noble, and iTunes should be any day now). The paperback should be available from Amazon any time now.

It feels like I've been waiting to tell Ben's story forever. He revealed himself slowly to me throughout Broken Pieces and Full Circle, and I was shocked at what I found :)

His book is pretty dark...it's intense and it wasn't always easy to write but, at the same time, I couldn't turn the words off. Ben and Dante were always on my mind.

I hope you guys enjoy their story.

On the surface, Ben seems to have it all: money, influence, good looks. He smiles and jokes in all the right places, but it’s all a façade. Inside he’s a wreck, and it’s only getting worse. With his Congressman father using Ben’s recent kidnapping for his own political agenda, and Ben still struggling to get over the only guy he’s ever loved, he feels like he’s losing his grip on reality and he’s quickly spiraling out of control.

Then he meets Dante, an enigma of a man with as much self-hatred as Ben has. In Dante, Ben finds what he didn’t know he needed: Dante’s control, his power, is the only thing that clears the fog in Ben’s brain. For the first time in his life, Ben has a lover who just might need Ben as much as Ben needs him. When they’re together, the demons from their pasts don’t lurk so heavily on their shoulders.

But Dante can’t fix him. Not when a memory from Ben’s past is haunting him in ways he doesn’t understand, waiting for him to put together the missing pieces in his head…and what he discovers just might have the power to break him for good.

Grab it from Amazon.

"Unyielding at times in its intensity, raw, and compelling: Ben and Dante's journey was everything I wanted it to be. Beautifully written and gripping because of its dramatic content, I loved how Riley decided to bring this wonderful series to a close."

My 2015 plan

I thought I should update you guys on my plans for 2015. I'm really excited about the books coming your way.

First of all, Ben is currently in round three of edits. We're working on a cover and should have one soon. I don't have an exact release date yet but his book should be out at the end of February/beginning of March. I hope to nail down a date and announce, ASAP.

His book is...different. My fingers pretty much couldn't stop typing, but it was tough too. Ben hides well and even I didn't know everything about him when I started his book. Ben didn't either. There were certain parts that broke me when they were revealed. Probably more than Josiah, Tristan and Mateo. He's been carrying something pretty heavy inside for a very long time. It's a dark book...an angsty book. I'm excited/scared to see what you guys think!

As you know the Blackcreek series has ended, and the Broken Pieces series ends with Ben's book. That's not to say I won't write a novella for a couple or two, (that's not a for sure either way) but as for full length books with new characters, both of those series will be finished.

I'll have something new for you guys and as far as I know, this will be the only series in 2015. Writing two series at the same time was hard. Going forward, I want to put my focus into one series at a time.

What I know so far:

It will likely be a trilogy.
It takes place in a small town like Blackcreek.
Each book will be a different couple.
The series involves a small construction company owned by two brothers.
The first book is for Trevor, one of the brothers who owns the construction company and a surgeon named Simon.
I've started book one and I'm already in love with both Trevor and Simon.

More from me soon. Thanks guys!

Preorder PRETEND, Blackcreek book three

PRETEND is available for pre-order and releases December 29th!

Mason Alexander thought all he wanted in life was something to call his own—something without the family name attached. He got that when he bought his bar in Blackcreek...but then a hard truth opens his eyes that he’s been lied to his whole life, and he’s tangled amid the family that loves him, a truth that haunts him, and torn between the life he wants for himself and the obligation he feels for his family.

Gavin Davis knows a thing or two about living a double life. Being a gay man with strict Christian parents who believe he’s going to Hell, has never been easy. Instead of dealing, Gavin lost himself in his career. Teaching music gives him solace. So when he loses his job at a private school for helping out a gay kid, he feels like he lost more than a job. He lost his identity.

Blackcreek is a new start for both of them, two men, loyal to a fault, who both feel obligated to people in their lives. What Mason and Gavin don’t expect to find in each other is the place where they can be real. They know they want each other, it’s the rest of it they can’t figure out. Caught between loyalty, obligation, fear, tragedy and family, Mason and Gavin’s lives threaten to pull them away from each other if they don’t get real, and stop playing pretend, for good.

Teaser:
(unedited)

Mason finished up at work before locking up. He'd let his other employee go, and finished everything himself. Just as he grabbed his things to head out for the night, Mason heard a key in the lock, the familiar creak of the door and then Gavin walked in.

“Hey, I…” His eyes landed on the piano, in the corner of the stage. Gavin stared at it so damn long Mason suddenly felt nervous. It was a foreign feeling, someone having that effect on him but he wanted this to be something good for Gavin.

“I know you miss playing. I’m not sure if this is the best place for it. We can move it to your house if you want, but I just figured you do enough helping me around this place that—actually fuck that. That’s not the whole reason. I wanted to do something nice for you, so I did.”

Still, Gavin didn’t answer him.

It wasn’t anything special. It was a used piano but from the research Mason did, a nice one.

“You’re falling in love with me, aren’t you? Shit. I knew the piano was too much.”

It was those words that finally prompted Gavin to look at him. He smiled and shook his head as he pushed the door closed behind him. “You’re crazy.”

“Eh. You just caught me on a weird day.”

Gavin locked the door, and then made his way over to Mason. His T-shirt stretched across his chest as he moved. He stopped in front of Mason, and shook his head again. “I don’t know what to say.”

Mason could see that in him, the confusion mixed with happiness, hiding behind the shock.

The almost shy, innocence that he sometimes showed, came out of hiding. Mason wasn’t sure what it was about that but it always made his dick hard and his heart race. “I guess you better think of something.”

“Thank you.”

Mason raised a brow. Gavin could do better than that.

“I’m sorry?”

Mason crossed his arms.

“I don’t deserve you, oh great one. You’re sexy, and sweet and not only the best fuck I’ve ever had but you give me things I probably don’t deserve.”

“Better.” Mason grinned before nodding toward the piano. “Come play for me, music man.” He could practically feel the anxious energy rolling off his lover.

Mason went to turn, but Gavin grabbed ahold of his arm, stopping him. “Really, thank you though. I don’t…no one has ever done something like this for me before.”

Mason shrugged, feeling uncomfortable all of a sudden. “Then I’m glad I did it.”
