Austin Thompson spends most of his spare time reading or logging in extra hours at the LGBTQ youth center where he works. His only standing “night out,” if you can call it that, is his weekly movie night with his best friend, Dare Nichols. Between work and Dare, it’s hard to find time for much else, so when he does try to date, it ends in disaster.
Dare thrives on living life on the wild side—surfing, mountain biking, sky diving. If it’s extreme, he’s game. Between sports and spending his evenings at his West Hollywood bar, Dare never sees a dull moment. Still, with all that excitement, most of his favorite times are when he’s tucked away in Austin’s apartment. Probably because he’s the best friend Dare’s ever had.
Then the kiss happens and the men realize they don’t want to stop there. As they explore this new adventure in their relationship, Austin realizes the excitement he’s been looking for has been right there all along, and Dare must decide if he can conquer his only fear by risking his heart.

Hello! I have a new cover! Book covers are one of my favorite parts of the process. DARE YOU TO, is the novella that was previously in the anthology, IT WAS ALWAYS YOU. It's being re-relased on it's own on January 5th, for only 99 cents!

December LGBTQ Center Spotlight: Hetrick-Martin Institue
Each month I'm spotlighting a different LGBTQ Center, hoping to spread awareness and also, linking to their Amazon wish lists in hopes of helping them get some of the supplies they need--like clothing, art supplies, activities, movies etc.
For the month of December I'm spotlighting Hetrick-Martin Institute. Their website says they work for "Empowerment, education and advocacy for LGBT youth" They have two wish lists--their Robin Hood Foundation list can be found HERE. November LGBTQ Center Spotlight: Promise House
This has been a really emotional week. I've been sad for a few days now and I've let myself have those days because I needed them. But now? Now, I'm still sad and scared, but it's also time for me to do something. My first phase of action will be to spotlight an LGBTQ Center each month, for the next few months, purchase items from their Amazon wish lists, and hope some of you will be able to do the same.

JUMPSTART is here!
The last book (novella) in the Crossroads series it finally here. It's such a bittersweet feeling. I like the feeling of accomplishment. I love knowing that I gave all of these characters their happily ever afters. I'm proud of each book...but I will also miss them. When I think about it, the missing is sort of good. I think it's better to miss them, than to overdo it. Than to want to hang on so much, I'm writing stories that don't need to be written. That's always the place I try to find in my writing. I want people satisfied. I want to feel satisfied in a series but I don't want to hang on longer than I should.
Anyway, that's enough rambling for me. I hope you enjoy Christian and Beckett's story. I had so much fun writing it. The motocross part was my favorite. I definitely plan to write more motocross books in the future. Oh, and I made my husband a trainer :)

It has been such a hectic week! My internet has gone out every day and my internet provider doesn't seem to be taking it seriously. It's driving me batty. I have internet now but who knows how long it will last.

Jamie Tolland has only ever known his small Oregon town. Same job, same friends, same gay bar. He feels obligated to stay, especially as his mother’s illness progresses. But when a situation presents itself in the form of a vintage sports car, he jumps on the chance to not only repair it, but also drive it to its new owner in LA.
Conner Murphy left Oregon years ago to make his life in West Hollywood. Like his unconventional parents, he’s always been a free spirit, never settling on one job or girl for too long. When he inherits his late uncle’s classic Chevelle, he’s more than happy to let his childhood friend Jamie help.
Jamie and Conner are as different as night and day. Even after years of living apart, they still have a blast together—but now it’s mixed with an undeniable spark of attraction. Before they know it, they can’t keep their hands off each other. For Conner it’s all new and exciting, but Jamie isn’t the type of guy who takes this sort of intimacy lightly.
Conner soon realizes that Jamie quenches something deep inside of him that no one has before, but he doesn’t know how to handle a real relationship.
