Great reviews for COLLIDE

Hello. Hope you had a great Monday. Mine is winding down and it's about time to curl up in bed with a book :) Before I do, I wanted to share a great review for COLLIDE.

5 Sweet Peas from Madam Aus at Mrs. Condit.

This is one of those stories that I just want people to read because it is so awesome. It is well written, the story tension is there from the start and builds up to a climax which has its own tension and frustration and highlights an old but still prevalent injustice. The sex is hot, hot and the love is smexy and sweet and hot.

Visit Mrs. Condit and Friends to read the full review.

Thanks to everyone who has read COLLIDE and also thanks to those who have taken the time to give it a review. I know we all have so many things going on so I appreciate you taking the time to share how you feel about Cooper and Noah's story.

Have a good one!

~Riley

Take What You Want by Ann Lister

Mega rock star, Alex “Zander” Metcalf is burned out after nearly two years touring with his band, as well as emotionally drained after his sexual preferences were exposed by the media. He is ready for a long sabbatical – alone, and retreats to the east coast island of Martha's Vineyard; leasing an oceanside estate.

Alex seeks the quiet lifestyle of a recluse to write new material for his band, only to meet the handsome estate manager, Chase, and his gorgeous fiancée, Danni, living in the guest house on his property. Alex's hope of solitude is soon forgotten when he discovers Chase has a repressed bi-sexual side that is aching to surface and Alex is more than happy to help him explore it.

What neither Alex or Chase expects is the emotional power of their chemistry expanding to involve the three of them when Danni becomes entangled in their passion. Alex believes he has finally found his perfect menage relationship with Chase and Danni.

Sometimes two isn't enough and it takes three to complete the union of a fulfilled love. But, will their new relationship be strong enough to survive when real life wants to punish them for their unconventional love? And, can they be confident in the strength of their love to take the 'happily ever after' they can only give each other?

BROKEN PIECES cover reveal

Hello. Hope everyone had a great weekend. I have a new cover to share with you! Before I jump into it, I want to share a few things. First of all, this isn't the second Blackcreek book. I promise Wes and Braden's story is coming soon. It will definitely be here in the first half of 2014 but the muse is a funny thing sometimes and my muse belongs to BROKEN PIECES right now. I can't get this story out of my head!

Second, this book is pretty different from COLLIDE. It's darker…edgier. It starts when Josiah (MC)  is sixteen and ends when he's twenty-seven. The characters couldn't be more different from Noah and Cooper but hopefully people will love them. It's really strange how this story came about for me. I actually dreamed it and it was so different because the dream unfolded in three separate parts, which is how I'm telling the story. It's a menage story, which honestly I never saw myself writing but once I dreamed about the story of these three men, I lived and breathed it. I couldn't stop thinking about it and I knew I had to tell it. So that's what I'm doing :) It surprises me often in some ways but in others it feels so natural and right because it's like I've seen it before. It was one of the most vivid dreams I've ever had.

Anyway, I'm rambled enough. I will now show you the cover for my upcoming book, BROKEN PIECES.

Can three broken pieces make a whole?
Josiah Evans is the orphan who lost both his parents. He’s sweet, shy, and all heart. He wants nothing more than to be loved.
Mateo Sanchez is the son of a gang leader. He’s seen it all, and never hesitates to do what needs to be done, no matter what it is.
Tristan Croft is the wealthy attorney who clawed his way up from the bottom to rule his own world. He’ll never depend on anyone but himself again.
Three men who couldn’t be more different…and yet, as their lives intersect they find an uncommon balance that calms the storms inside each of them, and ignites fires hotter than they ever thought imaginable.

Told uniquely in three parts and spanning over ten years, BROKEN PIECES is a journey of healing for three fragmented souls, finding love in the unlikeliest of places—with each other.

COLLIDE reuploaded

Hello. I recently realized that there was a problem with my track changes during editing. A lot of my deletions weren't taken out so there were spots with extra words etc. I've had another run through of the manuscript and uploaded a newly edited version. There are no plot changes or anything like that but I just wanted to give you guys a heads up that there's a newly edited version live now.

Huge thanks to everyone for reading. You guys have been amazing. I'm so glad you're enjoying Noah and Cooper's story. Those boys are pretty special to me :)

Honored and Grateful

Noah and Cooper have been part of my life for quite awhile. I fell in love with them when they first popped into my head as these two ten-year-old boys who were best friends. Who always meant more to each other than anyone else in their lives.
I am sure all authors fall in love with our characters right from the start but as much as we love them, we never know if other people will love them too. If readers will see everything in them that we do. On the one hand, it's our job as writers to try and show you how special our characters are and their story is but of course there is no guarantee. We all have different tastes, which is totally a good thing.
Anyway, I'll get to the point and stop rambling.
When I published COLLIDE, I just wanted to get Noah and Cooper's story into the world. Wanted to hopefully share those special guys with a few readers. I wasn't sure how that go, if anyone would be interested in them or not. I am honored by the response COLLIDE has gotten.
It's very surreal to look at Amazon and see COLLIDE sitting at number two on the gay romance list, as well as Kindle books gay fiction, and Kindle gay romance. It's amazing to think of the boys who I love so much being in the hands of so many readers.
I want to thank you guys for giving COLLIDE a try. Thanks for giving a new author a try and thanks for letting my boys into your lives. I hope you enjoy their story. I hope I did them justice.
