The Geno Virus
The Geno Virus is a prelude to Geno World a novel of our possible future.
I wrote two screenplays based on Artificial Intelligence. The first titled Artilect was written with Dr. Hugo de Garis. Geno Virus has taken some of the research from that screenplay and twisted it into a new story. As 99% of all screenplays in Hollywood it did not make it past the preproduction phase. My producer got discouraged by the release of The Matrix, that she thought was too similar to the script.
The second screenplay Cosmism, I worked on with a French Director, until we decided to part company. The classic creative differences. Some of the ideas I developed for Cosmism will be expanded upon in Geno World.

Shadows on the Plain
Yes there are plans to further explore the world of Wanderer III as described in Shadows on the Plain.
Many thanks to Fredrick Pohl for his notes on this story, and his inspiration for a new twist.

Legends of the Syyl
Each tale of the Syyl is a part of the mosaic defining the Syyl. Each of the first books is building towards a convergence of events that will shape all of the Elves and possibly herald the start of a new age.
The Legends of the Syyl came from a screenplay I wrote to critical acclaim. Unfortunately the screenplay never made it to the theater in part due to the commercial success of Lord of the Rings which dominated the market, at the same time Elves was headed for pre-production. Movie execs are a skittish lot. Lots of $$$ at stake.

Current Project
I'm currently working on the final edits of Elves: Aza'kor. It is the second installment of the Legends of the Syyl. The tale started out to be a short story, but has grown to become a full length novel. The characters have continued to demand more life, so I've agreed to their wishes.
