ITL
In this week's update of ITL, we ask some really hard-hitting questions.
Like, what's it like to kiss Xio Voe?
While other rulers abuse their citizens at large, Kudorin just takes advantage of his brothers, and isn't that better?
And, how much does Anosanim love dick, really?

Okay, maybe something to work on
From Wikipedia:
Saturday Night Live (SNL) is a weekly late-night sketch comedy and variety show filmed in New York City. It made its debut on October 11, 1975 under a slightly different title.
Also from Wikipedia:
[SNL cast member Fred:] Armisen's mother is Venezuelan and his father is German and Japanese, making Armisen SNL's second Asian-American cast member (after Rob Schneider, who is part Filipino) as well as the second Hispanic-American cast member (after Horatio Sanz, who is Chilean-American)

ITL
The Purple Book was, what, 77 parts?
This week, The Rainbow Book will hit its 72nd part, and we haven't even gotten engaged yet.
Either the rest of the books will be a lot shorter than this, or ITL will take us 25 years to get through.

TMI
Finally made the right adjustment to the fan so I could sleep in peace, instead of flopping around all hot, sweaty, and miserable. Woke up in a much better mood and not in a puddle of sweat. Thumbs up!
(Kim spent all morning marveling over how fresh and relaxed I am today. Apparently, being in Arkansas in August without air conditioning isn't good for me, and I've spent the past months looking horrible and sweaty. Good to know.)
Only had time for two hours of sleep. Thumbs down!
Hungry. Gotta

I have been remiss
Happy birthday to JC, who cannot be summed up no matter how many adjectives I employ, and to Drew, who has no idea how he's changed my life.

General Potser
Okay, so it doesn't say what the general's name is. But, this is my proof that old-school Orinakin and General Potser (the dude who acted protective at the conqueror's stone) totally hooked up:
From ITL131:
"…at all. Didn't you see Prince Orinakin there last month?"
"Yes, yes." The snide tones of the duke in conversation with his peers. "He and the general stopped by on their way to, where was it?"
"Uristalia, I believe."
"Yes, yes. They're getting

This explains so much
From TechCrunch.com:
It isn't often that we hear about a startup looking to build things that are "massively small". But today a new startup called Particle is coming out of stealth with that mantra, along with a handful of bite-sized new products that seem to fit the bill nicely. The company is also bringing with it an interesting source of funding, with musician Justin Timberlake as its lead investor (Timberlake isn't new to Silicon Valley - his past investments include Tapulous).

APA makes progress
Psychologists repudiate gay-to-straight therapy:
The American Psychological Association declared Wednesday that mental health professionals should not tell gay clients they can become straight through therapy or other treatments.
In a resolution adopted by the APA's governing council, and in an accompanying report, the association issued its most comprehensive repudiation of "reparative therapy" — a concept espoused by a small but persistent group of therapists, often allied with religious conserv
