Title: Broken DreamsSeries: Broken #2Author: Kelly ElliotRelease Date: 1 April, 2014Release Launch hosted by: Book Plug Promotions

Courtney Will always dreamed of finding her Prince Charming and living happily ever after, like in the fairy tales she read as a child. Her dreams were shattered one fateful night when her prince turned out to be her worst nightmare. Burying herself in her job as an editor, Courtney tried to forget her past, and she lost hope of ever finding true love.

Reed Moore’s past filled his world with guilt and anger, and then a mistake in college deepened these feelings. Fearing he will one day repeat his father’s mistakes with the woman he loves, Reed has vowed to never give his heart to anyone.
Reed and Courtney have each spent years building walls to guard their hearts, so when their feelings for one another explode into something unexpected, they argue and throw hurtful words at each other in hopes of avoiding the truth
.
Will Reed end up being the Prince Charming Courtney has dreamed of her entire life? Is Courtney the woman who will help Reed move past the guilt and anger, so he can embrace love?
Can their broken dreams become their happily ever after?

“Mr. Moore?” Johnny called out.

Johnny was the high school kid I’d ended up hiring last week to help out for a bit until Layton got back from his honeymoon. Johnny was friends with Ryan, the kid Layton had hired last summer.

I stood up and walked over to the gate. “Hey, Johnny. You get everything done?”

He nodded and smiled. “Yes, sir. Miss Will took Tink out for a ride a little bit ago. Should I stay and help her with the horse when she gets back?”

“Nah. Courtney is a big girl. She can handle it. Thanks, dude. I’ll see you tomorrow after church, right? Mr. Morris will be back in the afternoon, and then you can officially meet him.”

He reached out and shook my hand. “Sounds like a plan, sir.”

He turned and headed off to his old Chevy truck, and I headed back to the chair I had been sitting in. It was so damn hot out, and all I wanted to do was jump in the pool, but damn Courtney had me sneaking around, reading this stupid book of hers. I wouldn’t dare tell her I’d bought myself a Kindle, and I had loaded her favorite book on it. I had to know what it was that had always made her want to read it.

It didn’t take me long before I was completely engrossed in Nick and Alexa’s world. I thought I heard a noise, but I couldn’t pull my eyes away from the Kindle. Nick was just about to—

“Whatcha doin’ there?” Courtney whispered into my ear, scaring the shit out of me.

I jumped up so fast that it caused me to lose my balance. I stumbled backward and went right into the pool, Kindle and all.

Courtney started screaming, “No! My Kindle! You asshole, you ruined my brand-new Kindle.”

I looked up at her as she began stomping her feet with her hands flying everywhere, and I couldn’t help but smile.

I quickly removed the smile and started getting out of the pool. “Nice. You’re worried about a stupid-ass Kindle. No, really, I’m fine, Courtney. I didn’t just fall into a pool where I could have possibly hurt myself.”

She stopped jumping around and looked at me. “It’s not like you fell off a building, for Christ’s sake. You fell into a pool…with my Kindle!”

She reached for the Kindle, and I swore she wiped a tear away. I shook my head and then pulled my shirt up and over my head. Then, I began unbuttoning my jeans.

“Whoa there, cowboy. Giving me a free strip show isn’t going to make up for the fact that this is the second Kindle that has been destroyed while…”

I pulled my jeans down, and she stopped talking while she moved her eyes up and down my body. The moment she bit down on her lower lip and let out a small moan, I felt my dick jump.

This girl is going to kill me.

Really I'm just a wife to a wonderful Texas cowboy who has a nack for making me laugh almost daily and supports my crazy ideas and dreams for some unknown reason...he claims it's because he loves me.....so I'll just go with that one!

I'm also a mom to an amazing daughter who constantly is asking me to make her something to eat while she has her fingers moving like mad on her cell phone sending out what I'm sure is another very important text message!

Oh...and I like to sit down and write in my spare time!

I live in the Texas hill country and one of my favorite things to do is go for hikes around our property with my second favorite man, Gus....my chocolate lab and my sweet girl Rose, our golden retriever. When I'm not outside helping the hubby haul brush or move rocks or whatever fun chore he has in store for me that day, you will find me inside reading, writing or watching HGTV and soaking in a nice hot bubble bath.....yeah that last one I just made up but it sure does sound nice!!!

I recently discovered those school vocational assessments are really interesting and probably correct! Who would have thought, hey? You see, I clearly remember taking one of those in Year 11 (for my US friends, I think that equates to junior year in high school). Anyway, semantics. Well, the results came back indicating that I should pursue a career in writing and something else. What that something else was I can’t remember but the writing thing stuck in my mind.

Sure, I’d always liked English and had already developed a ravenous appetite for romance novels by the age of sixteen—but who becomes a writer straight out of school? So to cut a long story short, I went to Uni and studied Business and ended up managing large-scale IT projects shortly after.

I can’t complain: it’s been a great career. I’ve done some awesome projects and met some incredible people and I won’t be giving it up anytime soon. Anyway, I’ve messed around with a couple of “secret” novels over the years and I finally decided to get serious and finish one. Hence “Finding Trust” came about. And about twenty years later, I’ve finally proved a vocational assessment correct, because I love writing!

As to some other stuff about me: I live on the Gold Coast, Australia. I love spending time with my family and friends. When I’m not sitting behind a screen playing with IT or writing, you might find me down the beach playing in the waves on a Jet Ski or a bogey board (both are uber cool). When the weather turns a bit cooler (doesn’t really happen on the Gold Coast), we like to head for the snow. I’ve discovered I have two kids who are kamikaze skiers—they must take after their father. He’s always at me to “release the handbrake.” Apparently I’d ski so much better. I call it a healthy understanding of self-preservation and gravity!

I like to think I can fit in a few workouts and martial arts classes each week. This tends to be a figment of my imagination more than reality, unfortunately. I am trying to remedy this, but those damn characters just keep demanding to have their stories told and, well, there’s always another good book to read!

I hope you enjoy mine.

Please drop me a line. You can find me at my website, www.nataliegayle.com. I’m active on Facebook, Twitter, and via email Natalie@nataliegayle.com.au. I’d love to know what you think of my books and well, let’s be truthful—I love talking about books, whether they’re mine or someone else’s. Fiction is just so much more fun than reality!!!

Happy Reading,

Natalie Gayle

Blog Tour: Only the Good Die Young by K.K. Hendin

Welcome to our stop on the blog tour for Only the Good Die Young by K.K. Hendin.  We have an extract to share with you and there is a tour wide giveaway where you can win an Only the Good Die Young care package (2 up for grabs!) or e-book (2 up for grabs as well!).

Title: Only the Good Die YoungAuthor:  K.K. HendinRelease Date:  11 March, 2014Event Organised by: InkSlinger PR

The first year of college is supposed to be about parties, parties, and getting the hell out of Texas. Instead, Milcah Daniels is spending her eighteenth year in and out of Houston's hospitals. Her hair is falling out, they’ve cut off her boobs, and if she makes it to nineteen, she’ll consider it a personal miracle.

Breast cancer really has a way of messing with a girl’s social calendar.

When Milcah’s temporarily discharged from the hospital, she’s determined to get a tattoo for every medical procedure she’s had. Her quest leads her to Skin Stories, a new tattoo parlor a block from her apartment. And to it’s infuriatingly sexy artist, Callum Scott.

Callum is everything Milcah wants, and everything she shouldn’t have now. A new relationship when the official prognosis is one to five years is a terrible idea. But Callum doesn’t know about the breast cancer, and Milcah’s not running to tell him.

But when the doctor says things are actually looking positive, her entire life turns upside down. How is she supposed to start living again when she’s finally learned to accept her death?

A knock on the door jolts me out of the river of consciousness I’m trying my best to stay afloat in. I’m too tired to raise my head, and I just wait to see if anyone walks in.“Hi, Ms. Daniels?” It’s someone who I don’t know.Someone who isn’t wearing scrubs.I don’t say anything. I don’t have the strength. I don’t care.“Ms. Daniels, my name is Roberta, and I’m here from the local breast cancer support group, and I came to see how you’re doing.”“Well, you saw.” I gesture to the tubes that are still hooked up to my body. “And now you can leave.”But Roberta, wearing the damn pink ribbon, apparently doesn’t have a firm grasp of the English language, because she doesn’t leave. She comes to the edge of my bed.“I’m here to see how you’re doing,” she repeats, as if the chemo killed all my brain cells instead of the tumor.“I heard you. And you saw. Now you can leave.” I don’t have patience for this shit.I can’t deal with any false sympathy right now.She leans over and places her hand on my shoulder and smiles down at me.Oh, hell no.“I know it’s hard for you,” she says.I snap.“Listen, ma’am. I don’t know who the hell you are, I don’t know what you’re doing here, and I don’t know why the hell you’re touching me. Leave. Now.”Her eyes widen, but she stays there, her hand still on my shoulder.“Some people are a little irritable after chemotherapy,” she says to me.“Not like any procedure I have or haven’t been having here is any of your goddamned business, but I don’t give a shitting monkey about people being irritable,” I snap. “I didn’t ask you to come, I told you I didn’t want you in here, and I’m asking you to leave now.”I hit the bell next to my bed and hope that Holly comes and removes this moron from my room. Damn cancer, making me so weak I can’t even shrug her hand off my shoulder. “Everything okay in here?” It’s not Holly, it’s a different nurse.God, at this point, I don’t even care anymore.“Get her out of my room,” I say, knowing my voice is weaker than it normally is, and it makes me flinch.Roberta smiles at the nurse. “I’m here from the local breast cancer support group,” she says.“Ma’am, the patient would like you to leave now.” God bless her.Roberta throws me a pitying look, and leaves.“Thanks,” I say to the nurse, my voice fading. She smiles and leaves, closing the door part of the way as she walks out. I close my eyes and sink into an endless pit of self-doubt.

KK Hendin's real life ambition is to become a pink fluffy unicorn who dances with rainbows. But the schooling for that is all sorts of complicated, so until that gets sorted out, she'll just write. Preferably things with angst and love. And things that require chocolate. She’s the author of the NA contemporaries HEART BREATHS and ONLY THE GOOD DIE YOUNG.

She spends way too much time on Twitter, where she can be found at @kkhendin, and rambles on occasion over at www.kkhendinwrites.blogspot.com.

Cover Re-Release: Unbreakable by Rebecca Shea

Check out the gorgeous NEW cover for Unbreakable by Rebecca Shea created by Regina Wamba at Mae I Design.
... AND that's not all ...
there is a sale on Unbreakable and Undone from 3/27-3/29. Get your copies today!
These are two amazing books - you absolutely have to meet Gabe AND Landon!!

Jessica Harper is the epitome of perfection. She’s a good daughter, makes excellent grades, and always strays on the safe side of life. The last thing she thought would ever happen was falling in love with her best friend’s brother. But sometimes fate just has a way of bringing two people together.
Wide receiver for the University of Arizona, Gabe Garcia, seems to have it all. When his feelings for Jessica come to surface, Gabe will give up everything to be with her. But what happens when a tragedy abruptly changes the course of your life?
For Jessica and Gabe, everything they thought they knew about each other will be questioned. Sometimes, there are scars in life that are cut too deep to completely heal.
Will their love prove to be unbreakable, or will it shatter and prove fate is just another lie?
*This book contains mature subject matter and is not intended for those under 17 years of age.*

Unbreakable is a phenomenal debut from Rebecca Shea.  Heartbreakingly beautiful, I dare you not to absolutely fall in love with Gabe, Landon and Jessica.
I would caution even those of you that 'never' cry when reading books to choose your reading location very carefully.  This is not a book to read on the bus, or in any other sort of public place for that matter (unless of course ugly crying in front of complete strangers is something that you're comfortable with).  It will rip your heart in two and leave you wondering whether anyone will survive the trauma of what happens to these three amazing characters (including you!).
There is such integrity, sincerity and selflessness from all three.  It was so wonderful to read a love story that didn't include deception, betrayal or infidelity.  Despite that, be prepared for some devastatingly painful scenes as the story unfolds and our characters grapple with their love, their insecurities and their selfless wish for those they love to have what they think they deserve.
Gabe and Landon are two outstanding men.  I didn't want to like Landon to start with, but by the end of Unbreakable you can't help but be completely in love with him.  The tattooed bad boy, is such a wonderful contrast to Gabe.  Gabe is also just amazing.  So completely in love with Jessica, so focused on giving her everything - here's a snippet of what to expect from him:
"... it's the kind of love that won't let me breathe if you're not with me.  It's the kind of love that makes me not want to live if I can't be with you"

Some of the chapters from Gabe's point of view were some of the hardest, most emotional words I've ever read.
Unbreakable will take you on on a wildly emotional rollercoaster.  Rest assured, you will get your heart back, in one piece, although it will have suffered along the way and it will take you some time to recover.  Unbreakable - is definitely one of my favorites for the year and I cannot wait to read more from Rebecca Shea.
5 out of 5 stars

Release Day Launch: Recklessly Royal by Nichole Chase

Title:  Recklessly Royal
Author: Nichole ChaseSeries: Suddenly #2Genre: Contemporary RomanceOrganised by: InkSlinger PR

Catherine has spent her life being the perfect princess. She’s kept her hands clean, her head down, and most importantly—men at arm’s length. After all, most men are after only one thing, and for Cathy there’s a lot more at stake than her bed; she has to worry about the fate of an entire nation. But at the rate she’s going, Cathy is afraid she’ll give the Virgin Queen a run for her money. She is tired of waiting for someone good enough to come along. She has a plan, and it all hinges on seducing the one man who seems utterly unimpressed by all things royal. The one man she is tempted by more than any other . . .

When David arrives at the royal wedding of his friend, the newly ordained Duchess Samantha Rousseau, he expected to feel uncomfortable and out of his element, but he wasn’t prepared to be targeted by Prince Alex’s gorgeous younger sister. With Cathy’s giant blue eyes, killer figure, and sense of humor, it won’t take long before he gives in. But when he finds out just how innocent the crown princess really is, will he play the part of knight in shining armor or the dashing rogue?

I was a bit sloshed, but I wasn’t going to tell Sam that. My legs slipped and I slid the rest of the way to the ground, my head stopping my fall. Maybe I was drunker than I thought. The doorbell rang as I scrambled up from my spot on the floor.

“I’ve got it!” Chadwick took off to the front door, his steps a little too loud.
Backing away from the pole, I took a running jump and grabbed directly in the middle. I used my momentum to swing my legs high in the air. Making sure I had a good grip on the pole, I spread my legs into a split.

“Wow.” A deep voice broke into my thoughts and I looked up. A man was standing next to Chadwick, wearing a backpack and carrying a large duffel bag. His dark eyes ran over my body and I shivered, which was a bad thing. My hands slipped and I fell, crashing to the floor with a loud oof.

“Are you okay?” Sam ran over and helped me stand up, but I wasn’t feeling any pain. In fact, I was feeling awesome. Looking past Sam’s shoulder, I smiled at the hottie and waved. He was perfection, from his messy dark hair down to his scuffed boots. And exactly what we needed to end the night with a bang.

“Heeeyyooou. I don’t remember hiring a stripper, but boy am I glad you showed up.” I let Sam help me up to my feet and wondered why she was making a choking sound. I slapped her on the back, worried. “Are you okay?”

“I’m fine. Fine!” Sam barked a laugh. “That’s not—”

“Good! Because it looks like I outdid myself!” I turned her around with a flourish to look at the delicious man standing on the stairs. His shirt strained across his chest as he shifted his feet and I found myself thinking about tracing my fingers across those hard lines. I let my eyes run over him instead, taking in the tight plaid shirt, worn jeans, and work boots. There was nothing polished or metropolitan about him. Everything screamed outdoors. And I liked it.

“Cathy,” Sam tried to stop me, but I shrugged her off and skipped up the steps.

“What are you supposed to be? A lost lumberjack?” I pulled the heavy bag out of his hands and set it on the ground. “We’ll, c’mon! Someone start some music.” I gyrated my hips a little and wiggled my eyebrows. “Take it off, bab-ay!”

“If you insist, gorgeous.” His American accent gave me pause as a dim memory tried to fight through the fog in my brain, but it didn’t last long. His eyes stayed locked on mine as his calloused fingers worked the top couple of his buttons free. I wasn’t sure if it was the alcohol, or just his deep brown eyes, but I was entranced. I didn’t even notice when Sam climbed the stairs.

I couldn’t look away from him as he slowly unbuttoned his shirt and exposed the skin underneath. The need to touch that tantalizing bit of flesh raced through me and my fingers twitched. Hypnotized by eye the color of melted chocolate, I leaned forward. One corner of his mouth turned up into a smirk and it only added to his appeal. Where it might have been a turn off in another man, It simply added to this strippers appeal. I smiled in response, eager for him to continue.

“God, please don’t, David. I’ll never be able to look at you again.” She covered his hands with her own and laughed, her cheeks a bright red.

“David?” I looked at him, confused, before looking over my shoulder at Jess. She was nodding her head with wide eyes like I was supposed to remember something. “David?” I said the name again, mulling over what that could mean.

I looked down at the bag I had taken from him and my eyes landed on his boots. It was then that a moment of clarity surged through my mind like a stampede of wild horses and I covered my mouth.

“Oh God.” A wave of nausea hit me. “You’re Sam’s friend.”
I promptly turned around and threw up into a potted plant.

Noah dropped me home sometime around nine. I’d stayed for dinner, thought I’d sobered up sufficiently to drive, but was told to keep my car right where it was—on the curb in front of Erica’s house. She’d drive it over tomorrow.

I live in a cul-de-sac in an old neighborhood filled with one-story brick homes. They’re small—no bigger than 1500 square feet—but the perfect size for a single woman tired of paying rent. I bought my house two years ago. I’d started saving for a down payment eight years before that. I thought my mother would be so proud of me for purchasing my first home—on my own—but she was more concerned about the people to fill it.

“Just me, Mom,” I had said during my housewarming party. It included my dad, younger sister, some coworkers, a few friends from college, and Erica’s crew.

“Not even a roommate, Bailey? At least get a roommate. I mean, what’s the point of two bedrooms if it’s just you?”

“Office space,” I replied.

“Office space for what? What do you need an office for? Do you take work home with you? Do they make you work nights and weekends at that place? Honey, let’s talk about the sales job. Remember that sales job I told you about?”

“Mom, I’d be working more in sales. Do you understand? We’ve been over this. Days. Nights. Weekends. Holidays. Vacations. That’s a sales job!”

“Honey, this job is different. Now I gave Archie your number. He said he’ll call you—”

“Oh my God! I just bought a house, Mom! Can we focus on the house?!”

Yeah. So that’s how most of the conversations went with my mother.

Promotional Post: Reclaiming the Sand by A. Meredith Walters

Bully and victim.
Tormenter and tormented.
Villain and hero.

Ellie McCallum was a bully. No connection to anyone or anything. A sad and lonely existence for a young woman who had come to expect nothing more for herself. Her only happiness coming from making others miserable.

Particularly Freaky Flynn.

Flynn Hendrick lived a life completely disconnected even as he struggled to become something more than that boy with Asperger's. He was taunted and teased, bearing the brunt of systematic and calculated cruelty, ultimately culminating in a catastrophic turn of events that brought Ellie and Flynn’s worlds crashing down.

But then Flynn and Ellie grew up.

And moved on.

Until years later when their paths unexpectedly cross again and the bully and the freak are face to face once more.

When labels come to define you, finding yourself feels impossible. Particularly for two people disconnected from the world who inexplicably find a connection in each other.

And out of the wreckage of their tragic beginnings, an unlikely love story unfolds.

But a painful past doesn’t always want to let go. And old wounds are never truly healed…and sometimes the further you try to run from yourself the closer you come to who you really are.

The New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of Contemporary and Paranormal romance including The Find You in the Dark and Bad Rep series as well as the upcoming stand alone romance, Reclaiming the Sand, and a dark new adult series for Gallery Books.

A. Meredith spent ten years as a counselor for at risk teens and children. First working at a Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault program and then later a program for children with severe emotional and mental health issues. Her former clients and their stories continue to influence every aspect of her writing.

When not writing (or being tortured with all manner of beauty products at the hand of her very imaginative and extremely girly daughter), she is eating chocolate, watching reality television that could rot your brain and reading a smutty novel or two.

After being assaulted, she's realized that she needs to change and college is just the place to do it. Nobody knows the Ashley she used to be and she'd like to keep it that way.

Afraid of falling into the same patterns she decides that having no friends, no life and focusing on school is the way to go, but she didn’t bank on someone like Mac as her roommate or the tall, dark and completely geek hot in his glasses, Zeke Whitman.

Ezekiel (Zeke) Whitman is driven and focused when it comes to school. When he's forced to partner with a tall, leggy blonde with a slight attitude, he's thrown for a loop. With so much at stake, Zeke can’t afford distractions and Ashley is certainly that. From their first encounter Zeke sees more than just another gorgeous girl.

As Ashley grapples with leaving the ‘old’ her behind, she realizes that sometimes changing tunes isn't as easy as it sounds. Sometimes you have to keep a little of the person that you were, in order to become the person that you want to be.

Heather is a devoted mother of three gorgeous boys. She balances spending as much time with them as possible with writing, updating her Into the Night Reviews book blog and her day job. Her love of animals sees her home in Canton, GA bursting with numerous dogs and ferrets.

Heather campaigns passionately for anti-bullying initiatives and has a strong conviction to reduce peoples suffering at the hands of bullies.

A talented singer, who once dreamed of pursuing a career in that field, she has put that goal aside in exchange for her writing. A self proclaimed geek, whatever spare time she has is spent curled on the couch reading and listening to music.

Title: Gainers Grace (Changing Series #2)Genre: New AdultRelease Date:  TBACover Design: Robin Harper of Wicked by Design
As a former gymnast, the concept of grace is something Mackenzie “Mac” Rivera is very familiar with. Hours upon hours of training, turning out routines that appear flawless to an outsider have allowed Mac to masterfully hide the pain and frustration of falling short of the level of perfection every gymnast strives for. It's a skill she puts to good use when she goes off to college and recreates herself. Moving on from a high school humiliation, Mac is happy with who she is and the life she has laid out before her.
Reece Shaw has it all, or so he pretends to. Too caught up in appearances and maintaining his high school status, he let the one girl that he felt something real for slip through his fingers and he's never forgiven himself for that. In a last ditch effort to put the past firmly behind him, Reece moves away from everything familiar in his life to start anew at college. Sometimes though, the past has an uncanny way of following you where you least expect it and he soon discovers its not always easy to simply start over.
Suddenly faced with a part of her past Mac would much rather forget, she is left with the all too familiar feeling of sliding backwards while trying to move forward; just like the Gainer she could never quite master on the balance beam. Mac's future depends on her leaving the past behind. The question is, can she do that gracefully and with her heart intact?

Title: Tattered PiecesAuthor: Heather GunterGenre: New AdultRelease Date:  TBACover Design: Robin Harper of Wicked by Design
Riding high on the waves of success, Dove Sinclair, lead singer of Tattered Pieces, has it all - until one fateful night her party hard lifestyle almost costs her everything. Stupid and reckless doesn't even begin to describe her actions. Getting arrested definitely wasn't in the game plan, nor was an enforced stay in the Serenity Lakeview Clinic. If Dove wants to keep her band, her career and her life, then there is no alternative. The question is, will rehab force her to deal with the things that have triggered her reckless behavior or will she continue trying hard to forget and fade further into the dark.
Jasper Phillips is the kind of guy everyone loves. He comes from a good family, works hard and seems to have it all. Friendly, positive and popular are words people use to describe Jasper regularly. Sometimes what’s on the outside is only what we want people to see, while on the inside we’re battling demons that are too frightening to describe. When those demons manage to catch up to you, the whispers of their world becomes a very inviting place.

Dove doesn’t understand how Jasper fits in at Serenity Lakeview Clinic but something about him calls to her, awakening her desire to feel alive and normal again. As Jasper battles his inner darkness he is drawn to Dove, all the while fearing that if she gets close enough she won't like what she sees. As Jasper struggles to stay in the light, can he help Dove see what she has right in front of her?
