My Readers Are My Biggest Blessing!
Now that I’ve popped the turkey in the oven I wanted to sit down for a minute and tell you how grateful I am for you, my wonderful readers. Thanks to you I have a real career as an author! My first book, Venetian Love Knots, was published in February of this year. That was followed by Daddy Morebucks, the Whip It Up Anthology, and most recently The Professor’s Plaything.
I did have some writing goals for this year – one was to have at least four titles released this year. With the single release of Subterfudge (my story from the Whip It Up Anthology) tomorrow, I will exceed that goal. Yay!
But the most wonderful part of being an author is hearing from my incredible readers. I appreciate you so much. You’ve given me much more than I could have ever asked for this first year, and I promise to keep writing sexy stories for you. (In fact, starting Saturday I’m putting nose to the grindstone on the Daddy’s Girl Book Two!)
I hope each and every one of you has a tremendous Thanksgiving, and a happy Holiday Season! Leave a comment and tell me what aspect of the holidays you’re most looking forward to, and on December 10th I’ll choose a winner who will receive one of my books (winner’s choice.)
xo,
~Normandie

The Professor’s Plaything – Excerpt
I’m thrilled to let you know that my new erotic novella, “The Professor’s Plaything” is now available on Amazon! Other bookseller links will be coming soon.
About The Professor’s Plaything
She’ll loosen him up, and he’ll tie her down.
Twenty-one year old Colette Ellis has done plenty of daydreaming about Professor John McGill, but after a spur-of-the-moment decision to seduce him in his office turns her fantasies into reality, she is left longing for more.
She soon learns that this handsome academic can be as firm as he is passionate, and when her bratty behavior earns her a sound spanking she sees a side of him she never expected. Before she knows it, the beautiful young woman finds herself tied up at his mercy, naked, exposed, and more aroused than she could have ever imagined. As she grows closer to him, she cannot help but wonder how long this can last. Could John come to see her as more than just a naughty coed?
John has never fallen for a student… until now. There is something different about Colette, something that brings him alive in a way he has never felt before. Can he dare to hope that she is after more than just a fling?
Excerpt
Colette frowned. Things were not going the way she’d hoped. She needed some serious research experience, and she hoped to obtain a glowing recommendation from Professor McGill. She really wished someone had told her about all this before she spent the first three years of college funneling beer and hanging out with frat boys. She was in a mess.
If Professor McGill wasn’t going to be able to help her, she had no idea what she could do. All her options had disappeared, and she felt as if the walls were closing in on her. Tears began to well up in her eyes.
The Professor peered over his glasses at her. “Is there anything else?”
He seemed so eager to get rid of her sitting there in his button-down shirt, all serious and mature. Much more mature than any of the boys she’d dated. This man operated at a different than the party boys she knew.
The combination of his blunt rejection of both her presence and her offer to do more research, sent her unshed tears spilling down her cheeks.
When he saw she was crying, he searched the room for some tissues. Retrieving some from a table in the center of the room, he handed her the box.
She dabbed her eyes and sniffled. “Thanks, that’s sweet of you. I’m okay. Sorry about that.”
“What’s the matter?” he looked both concerned and horrified, like he’d never had a crying girl in his office before and he had no idea what to do.
“I’m just having a difficult time. I’ve been rejected by all the grad schools I’ve applied to, and I guess the pressure is getting to me.”
“Why don’t you sit down?” He gestured to a couch that was covered with books and papers. Seeing there wasn’t room for anyone to sit there, he started moving the books and papers to the table where the tissues had been. “Sorry about the mess.”
“That’s okay,” she said sitting down. She understood. Her bedroom was a disaster area.
He sat beside her. “I wish I had more work on the research project for you, but we won’t be moving onto the next phase until Fall and I already have the people in place I need.”
She nodded, suddenly aware that his thigh was centimeters from touching hers. His biceps bulged against the fabric of his shirt and she wondered how she could have missed noticing how muscular he was when she’d been in his class. Maybe he’d started working out since then.
He continued to talk about his research, but she was distracted by how hot he looked with those studious glasses and his sexy Van Dyke beard. When she had been a student in his class, Colette had daydreamed about Professor McGill all through class and whenever she passed him in the hallways. She’d wondered what it would be like to kiss him, to feel his beard tickle her chin.
Then something inside her snapped. All the desperation, all the rejections, all the uncertainty she faced came crashing down on her. Watching his delicious lips move while he talked, she recognized an opportunity.
Feeling like she had nothing to lose, she leaned over and pressed her lips to his.
He grabbed her upper arms and she thought he was going to push her away. Instead, he responded to her kiss.
Forwardly her tongue darted between his lips, and he began to explore her mouth, a short groan springing forth from his throat.
Emboldened by his reaction to her advances, Colette placed a hand on top of his thigh, her heart beating faster in her chest. She allowed her hand to travel up his leg and rest on his crotch. The bulge in his pants was clear evidence that he found her attractive.
Colette slid onto the floor, positioning herself between his knees. Her blue eyes met his green ones. “I really appreciate you letting me work on your project,” she fawned, deciding if she kept talking, perhaps he wouldn’t send her away. Easier to talk about his blasted research project than what was happening between them. “You really have been helpful.”
“I’m glad,” he choked out looking a bit dazed.
Butterflies fluttered in her stomach. What if he pulled away? Or worse, what if he kicked her out of his office? Reported her to the dean, or whoever?
Remembering that he’d kissed her back, Colette summoned all her courage before reaching up and tugging at the zipper on his pants.
Reader’s Advisory: This erotic novella includes spankings, graphic sexual scenes, elements of BDSM, and more.

#SatSpanks and Cover Reveal from “The Professor’s Plaything”
Welcome to #SatSpanks! Today I’m sharing a snippet from my new novella, “The Professor’s Plaything” – an erotic tale of a Professor and his student’s journey into a BDSM relationship. He’s uptight, she’s a free-spirit – and in their case opposites definitely attract. Here’s a short snippet:
“I ought to give you a spanking for what you did in my office,” he chuckled.
She giggled. For some reason she felt aroused, intrigued by the idea of a strong man like him keeping her in line. But he wasn’t serious, he was teasing her. Wasn’t he?

Celeste Jones Stops By to Discuss Lady Katherine’s Conundrum
Today I’m welcoming Celeste Jones to the blog to talk about her new release, Lady Katherine’s Conundrum.
Thank you so much for having me here today, Normandie. I’ve learned so much about the Regency era while writing my two (so far) Regency spanking stories that I’d like to share a bit of that information with your readers.
Hyde Park played an important part in Regency Era London. During The Season (usually from March until July) it was the place to see and be seen. Remember the scenes in American Graffiti where everyone drove their cars up and down the strip? It was sort of like that, but without engines or bobby socks.
The social hour in Hyde Park was from 5:00-6:00. Ladies might stroll arm in arm with their friends, all wearing their best dresses and showing off their newest hats. Single men might promenade as well, looking for an eligible lady. Lovers might also meet here for an assignation amongst the shrubbery.
In my latest book, Lady Katherine’s Conundrum, Hyde Park provides an important backdrop for a couple of key scenes. I’d like to share one with you here.
Excerpt
Lady Katherine Winchester admired herself in the tall looking glass in her bedchamber. The new hat and dress had arrived that morning and would be just the thing to wear for the afternoon in Hyde Park.
She joined her husband, wished that he might have had his boots polished, but said nothing, and the two of them traveled to Hyde Park to see and be seen by all the right people.
“You appear to be in especially high spirits today, my wife,” Thomas said, giving Katherine a meaningful look.
“I always enjoy the opportunity to wear new clothes.” She touched her hat to make sure it sat just right upon her elaborately styled hair.
“And you enjoy it even more if you can make the other ladies of the ton jealous of your newest acquisition.”
“Are you referring to my new husband or my new dress?”
“If either of us ‘acquired’ the other, it was me. I had to practically drag you to our wedding, as you will recall.”
“Or perhaps that is precisely what I wanted you to do.”
Thomas laughed, raised her fingers to his lips and kissed them. “Your plan worked brilliantly, my dear.”
“Thomas! I have asked you not to do that in public.” She pulled her hand away, though not as quickly as she ought to have, and glanced about to determine if anyone had seen them.
When she did, a familiar figure walking alone into the shrubbery which surrounded a clearing often used for illicit rendezvous caught her attention. Or at least she had been told it was often used for such activities. Lady Katherine Winchester would not have any personal knowledge of such shenanigans.
She leaned forward and squinted into the setting sun, then smiled with satisfaction as she made out the features of the person in question. She felt sure of the identity of the woman behaving in such a secretive manner: Lady Lorena Arnold.
So, the rumors she had heard were true. A trill of joy coursed through her veins. Obviously she intended to meet up with a lover, though she was hardly stealthy in her endeavors. No wonder she had been the subject of so much gossip, she was practically flaunting her activity.
As the carriage passed the area where Lady Arnold had disappeared into the gardens, Katherine turned, gawked, and even went so far as to rise up from her seat in order to get a better view.
“If you do not wish for me to swat that lovely derriere, I would suggest you get it back onto the seat where it belongs.” Katherine sat. Thomas had no compunction about ‘setting her straight’ as he liked to call it, and was bold enough to do so in public, if he felt correction was necessary.
“What did you see that merited the risk of falling over and hurting yourself, and spoiling your new clothes?”
She knew that Thomas hated gossip, but if she reported what she had seen that was hardly gossip, it was a factual statement. Besides, it would be rude not to answer his question. “I just saw Lady Lorena Arnold on her way to an assignation.” She nearly burst with delighted triumph at the prospect. Not only did it confirm the rumors she had been told earlier in the week, but now she had her own story to add to the downfall of her foe.
Thomas casually turned to gaze toward the direction where she had been staring before. “I do not see anything.”
“That is how you know she is up to no good.” Katherine rolled her eyes. “If a perfectly innocent reason for whatever she is doing existed, she would not need to sneak into the shrubbery to do it.”
“How do you know she was sneaking? Maybe she has an interest in nature.”
“Ha!” Katherine scoffed. “I know Lorena, and believe me, she has no interest in nature unless it is to get the tail feathers of a pheasant to use for a hat. I tell you, she is engaging in improper behavior.”
“Good for her,” Thomas squeezed his wife’s hand. “Would you like to follow her example?” He gestured as though he intended to tell the driver to stop, but Katherine grabbed his arm and gave him her best stern expression.
“No, I would not like to follow her example. She is setting a poor standard for everyone and even you should know that,” Katherine huffed and turned to nod acknowledgement to Lady Bedford, who rode by with her husband in the Bedford family’s open carriage. It took all of Katherine’s will power and fortitude not to throw propriety to the wind and hop into their carriage to share with Lady Bedford what she had seen.

Interview with Abbie Adams and A Little Trouble
Please join me today in welcoming Abbie Adams to the blog today. Abbie’s books have a Daddy/lil girl/age play flavor to them so I knew my readers’ interest would be piqued. The first of these books, A Little Training has been followed up by her new release, A Little Trouble. Let’s start with some questions I had for Abbie…
What was the inspiration behind this book?
I started writing A Little Training in my mind a long time ago… it is the book every author has with them, their own personal fantasy. Shew, there I said it. The hardest part for me is getting it down in book form. I wish I had as Flint Lockwood in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs invents… ‘A Monkey thought translator’. It would surely make it a lot easier to convey my thoughts.
Which character spoke to you the most while you were writing this book or which was your favorite?
Of course, I wrote this book in first person POV, in the form of Alivia’s diary, so naturally she is my “favorite”. However, if I ever get the time… I have many years of fantasies to put into words and they include tales of all the girls.
When did you know you wanted to be a writer?
Growing up I had many futuristic careers, from brain surgeon to cosmetologist to mommy. But—for a long stretch I believe it would have been around the age of eight, I was a famous author by the name of Franchesca Louann.
Tell us about your favorite atmosphere for writing.
I actually have my favorite atmosphere- almost… the only thing lacking is soundproofing… I have tried the Pandora thing, I love music! Just can’t have it while I’m working. I’ve even tried simply instrumental. The problem is I still know the words and transport them to my screen. So, I guess I need silence.
Anyway— my office is small, perhaps eight by ten. There are windows along the one end over-looking our apple trees. (I love the apple blossoms in the spring.) I have bird feeders in the window and love to watch the birds. I have a couple bookcases, a desk and a recliner. I use a laptop and often move from the desk to the chair for variation.
I have a bag of trail mix nearby, and an unending supply of coffee. I would move my Keurig into my office if I had running water near. But, then I’ve realized I would have to buy a small refrigerator for milk, because I don’t like powdered creamer… Blech… anyway- so I text poor helpless children or hubby—whoever is available to plead for sustenance… I’m told I’m rather pathetic.
Tell us about your “discipline” for writing. Are you consistent – writing at the same time every day or do you write in spurts and stops? How do you balance writing with the rest of your life?
Oh, how I wish for consistency… I have too much real life for that. How do I balance it? I do whatever I can to beg, plead, or steal time to write! No, since I started making a money a couple years ago it has become a lot easier to say- “Hey, I need to write.” But it is never at the same time… I guess narrowing it down- I usually do the other things, real life things in the mornings, or evenings once in a while. So, I usually write in the afternoons or some evenings.
Do you have a project in the works that you’d like to tell us about?
I am always trying to work on something… I am trying to get busy telling the tale of Alivia so it doesn’t take as long as the last one.
I am also working on getting Cancun Heat out. Vacation from Reality was a book I released that didn’t sell any copies. It wasn’t put in Amazon’s dungeon so to speak… so we don’t know happened. Anyway, we have looked it over and are re-releasing it. Of course, anyone who purchased it on Blushing Books will automatically get the book in their account, but it will be released new on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
How do you make yourself stand out in a competitive market?
I try to be real—to a point of sharing My fantasy. Even if it causes controversy. Each of us has different kinks… Some like that I have a different kink, and some have criticized A Little Training in reviews because the girl’s vaginas are altered, or that they are made to have sex. This book is a work of fantasy, my fantasy.
I wrote about the tightening of the girl’s vaginas, working on the desire of a lot of woman to be tighter. Taken in a manner that is uncomfortable for them… causing them to stretch…
But—beyond this the girls are made to sign the contract up front and all know the details…
I will say that I do not feel that I adequately portrayed my scenes the way I meant to. Now that I look back at some of them, I can see where I wish I would have written them better.
What do you do when you’re not writing?
Spend time with my family. They are everything to me. It’s all I ever want to do. I love them and have so much I want to do, to share, to teach to them. I feel like we only get so much time and it goes by so fast. I want to capture every moment with them.
What are you reading right now?
The Rescue by Nicholas Sparks. I’m rather surprised by it to say the least, if I had a DNF list it would be on it. But, I am not a quitter—I finish every book I start. I really anticipated more excitement. I’m not saying I didn’t want the boy to be found, I just didn’t think he would be found in the first couple chapters…
(I feel you. I read one of his books and for the first 75% I wanted to quit, was bored to tears, but I have to admit the last 25% GOT ME and made the whole experience worth it. It was masterfully done, but I don’t usually have the patience for that.)
What is your favorite color?
Like songs, and books and foods, I have so many and they change every week!
Favorite food?
See above.
If you had to be stranded on a desert island – who is the one person you’d like to be stranded with, and what one luxury item would you like to have with you?
My hubby and a bathtub. I do so love my bubble baths.
If you could be any animal what would it be? Why?
A cat— why not? Who else can lay around all day being treated like royalty? Most never have to leave the house!
What is something readers would be surprised to learn about you?
I’m really a chicken when I get spanked. For real, I do anything to get out of it and I’m pleading really fast for him to stop—and that is just with his hand…
(hee hee. That does surprise me!)
Is there anything else you’d like to share?
I’m really thankful to be asked to come visit! I love Normandie but I don’t get out much… I’m trying to be more social. If I haven’t said hello to you please come over and say hi!

A Little Training
Six months of training. Six months to find a placement. Three years with a Daddy. Fifty-thousand dollars. No Kidding.
That is the short of it. The contract I signed- well I don’t think words could describe it. I essentially gave up the rights to my body for the next four years.
“You truly have nothing to fear unless you disobey. If you are good girls you will be rewarded. But, if you are naughty, you will be spanked or punished. You will learn as you go along. As will we all, I suppose. Right now, all you need to know is that you must obey all of the adults or men in our home.” Trace locked his gray-blue eyes on mine until I looked away. I thought he was challenging me until I noticed he made the same eye contact with all the girls.
“You will only call me Daddy, and the other men- Uncle. As you get to know them you may call them Uncle Matt or such but you must always use the respectful term Uncle. Are there any questions on this?”

Subterfudge Serves up some #SatSpanks
Welcome to Saturday Spankings! Today I’m sharing another snippet from my story, Subterfudge, which is not only in the Whip It Up Anthology, but is now also available as a single title release. You can get the early download now from Totally Bound or wait for the general release on November 29 when it will become available at Amazon and most other online booksellers.
I’ve edited this snippet slightly to make it fit #SatSpanks, but basically Ashley is in the kitchen with her Master Roger who has just come home from work bearing gifts.
“Pull out the top rack of the dishwasher and bend over it.” Roger ordered.
Ashley did as she was told.
He traced the outline of her breast. Ever so slightly. Her skin tingled under his touch. She sighed, relaxing, yearning for him to keep going.
She felt the air conditioner blowing cold on her bum. Then whack! His hand slapped her ass cheek hard.
Subterfudge
Ashley’s Master is about to find out the lengths a truly naughty girl will go to for love in the kitchen.
When Roger asks his live-in sub Ashley to learn to cook she eagerly agrees, assuming it’s going to be a breeze. After all, she’s a bright, accomplished woman with a successful career—how hard can it be to prepare some food?
Once she’s up to her ears in cocoa and flour, Ashley realises cooking is more complicated than it looks. Finding ways to shortcut the process, Ashley dupes Roger into believing she’s a diva in the kitchen. But when he finds out she’s not the chef of his dreams, will he serve up a punishment fit for a saucy sub or will their relationship go up in flames?
Reader Advisory: This book contains anal sex, rimming and food play.
