Interview with Abbie Adams and A Little Trouble

A_Little_Trouble_Large

Please join me today in welcoming Abbie Adams to the blog today. Abbie’s books have a Daddy/lil girl/age play flavor to them so I knew my readers’ interest would be piqued. The  first of these books, A Little Training has been followed up by her new release, A Little Trouble. Let’s start with some questions I had for Abbie…

What was the inspiration behind this book?

I started writing A Little Training in my mind a long time ago… it is the book every author has with them, their own personal fantasy. Shew, there I said it. The hardest part for me is getting it down in book form. I wish I had as Flint Lockwood in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs invents… ‘A Monkey thought translator’. It would surely make it a lot easier to convey my thoughts.

Which character spoke to you the most while you were writing this book or which was your favorite?

Of course, I wrote this book in first person POV, in the form of Alivia’s diary, so naturally she is my “favorite”. However, if I ever get the time… I have many years of fantasies to put into words and they include tales of all the girls.

When did you know you wanted to be a writer?

Growing up I had many futuristic careers, from brain surgeon to cosmetologist to mommy. But—for a long stretch I believe it would have been around the age of eight, I was a famous author by the name of Franchesca Louann.

Tell us about your favorite atmosphere for writing.

I actually have my favorite atmosphere- almost… the only thing lacking is soundproofing… I have tried the Pandora thing, I love music! Just can’t have it while I’m working. I’ve even tried simply instrumental. The problem is I still know the words and transport them to my screen. So, I guess I need silence.

Anyway— my office is small, perhaps eight by ten. There are windows along the one end over-looking our apple trees. (I love the apple blossoms in the spring.) I have bird feeders in the window and love to watch the birds. I have a couple bookcases, a desk and a recliner. I use a laptop and often move from the desk to the chair for variation.

I have a bag of trail mix nearby, and an unending supply of coffee. I would move my Keurig into my office if I had running water near. But, then I’ve realized I would have to buy a small refrigerator for milk, because I don’t like powdered creamer… Blech… anyway- so I text poor helpless children or hubby—whoever is available to plead for sustenance… I’m told I’m rather pathetic.

Tell us about your “discipline” for writing. Are you consistent – writing at the same time every day or do you write in spurts and stops?  How do you balance writing with the rest of your life?

Oh, how I wish for consistency… I have too much real life for that. How do I balance it? I do whatever I can to beg, plead, or steal time to write! No, since I started making a money a couple years ago it has become a lot easier to say- “Hey, I need to write.” But it is never at the same time… I guess narrowing it down- I usually do the other things, real life things in the mornings, or evenings once in a while. So, I usually write in the afternoons or some evenings.

Do you have a project in the works that you’d like to tell us about?

I am always trying to work on something… I am trying to get busy telling the tale of Alivia so it doesn’t take as long as the last one.

I am also working on getting Cancun Heat out. Vacation from Reality was a book I released that didn’t sell any copies. It wasn’t put in Amazon’s dungeon so to speak… so we don’t know happened. Anyway, we have looked it over and are re-releasing it. Of course, anyone who purchased it on Blushing Books will automatically get the book in their account, but it will be released new on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

How do you make yourself stand out in a competitive market?

I try to be real—to a point of sharing My fantasy. Even if it causes controversy. Each of us has different kinks… Some like that I have a different kink, and some have criticized A Little Training in reviews because the girl’s vaginas are altered, or that they are made to have sex. This book is a work of fantasy, my fantasy.

I wrote about the tightening of the girl’s vaginas, working on the desire of a lot of woman to be tighter. Taken in a manner that is uncomfortable for them… causing them to stretch…

But—beyond this the girls are made to sign the contract up front and all know the details…

I will say that I do not feel that I adequately portrayed my scenes the way I meant to. Now that I look back at some of them, I can see where I wish I would have written them better.

What do you do when you’re not writing?

Spend time with my family. They are everything to me. It’s all I ever want to do. I love them and have so much I want to do, to share, to teach to them. I feel like we only get so much time and it goes by so fast. I want to capture every moment with them.

What are you reading right now?

The Rescue by Nicholas Sparks. I’m rather surprised by it to say the least, if I had a DNF list it would be on it. But, I am not a quitter—I finish every book I start. I really anticipated more excitement. I’m not saying I didn’t want the boy to be found, I just didn’t think he would be found in the first couple chapters…

(I feel you. I read one of his books and for the first 75% I wanted to quit, was bored to tears, but I have to admit the last 25% GOT ME and made the whole experience worth it. It was masterfully done, but I don’t usually have the patience for that.)

What is your favorite color?

Like songs, and books and foods, I have so many and they change every week!

Favorite food?

See above. ;)

If you had to be stranded on a desert island – who is the one person you’d like to be stranded with, and what one luxury item would you like to have with you?

My hubby and a bathtub. I do so love my bubble baths.

If you could be any animal what would it be? Why?

A cat— why not? Who else can lay around all day being treated like royalty? Most never have to leave the house!

What is something readers would be surprised to learn about you?

I’m really a chicken when I get spanked. For real, I do anything to get out of it and I’m pleading really fast for him to stop—and that is just with his hand…

(hee hee. That does surprise me!)

Is there anything else you’d like to share?

I’m really thankful to be asked to come visit! I love Normandie but I don’t get out much… I’m trying to be more social. If I haven’t said hello to you please come over and say hi!

A Little Trouble

A_Little_Trouble_LargeSix months of training. Six months to find a placement. Three years with a Daddy. Fifty-thousand dollars. No Kidding. Livvy is back in the second book of The Little Series.

Livvy has high hopes after Daddy made his claim on her, but it didn’t feel like things had changed. Shouldn’t he have told the others? Shouldn’t things have been different? Maybe she made a mistake? Maybe he was still looking for the perfect little girl?

He was still getting more new girls, but wasn’t she special? Daddy let her go with him to meet some of the new girls. He was also teaching her some of the things that pleased him, as strange as they were… Sara also takes on the role of helping her become the little girl that Daddy likes best. Will Sara’s observations prove helpful or harmful?

That is the short of it. The contract I signed- well I don’t think words could describe it. I essentially gave up the rights to my body for the next four years.

“You truly have nothing to fear unless you disobey. If you are good girls you will be rewarded. But, if you are naughty, you will be spanked or punished. You will learn as you go along. As will we all, I suppose. Right now, all you need to know is that you must obey all of the adults or men in our home.” Trace locked his gray-blue eyes on mine until I looked away. I thought he was challenging me until I noticed he made the same eye contact with all the girls.

“You will only call me Daddy, and the other men- Uncle. As you get to know them you may call them Uncle Matt or such but you must always use the respectful term Uncle. Are there any questions on this?”
