If all goes as planned, our new cover will be done for book 1 and book 2 will be published before the end of the summer - let's see how distracted we get. Our owners and their friends went to some place called Cape May, this week, and we had to spend a few days in the kennel, which is why we have been so quiet. Not our favorite place but it sure does make us appreciate our home.

Since 1919, commemorative events have been held nationwide at schools, libraries, bookstores, homes — wherever young readers and books connect! In 2013, Official Events will be hosted in a record-breaking 50 cities, along with innumerable Local Events.
In addition to on-site events, there are also online celebrations of Children’s Book Week. We are thrilled to take part with a special giveaway: Stanley & I will be joined by our human friend, Neighbor Girl, in a virtual author visit for one lucky winner.

Why we do not illustrate our own books.

This is Stanley & my attempt to illustrate the "Thanksgiving Dinner" scene in our first book. 

The good news is that we plan to include pictures in our second book. However, we will not draw them. Who wants a book of those drawings (above)? 

We also hope to do a new edition of our first book with pictures as well as a new cover. Won't that be exciting? 

When? Well, we'll get back to you on that. Have a happy weekend and Happy Mother's Day!

We are having a most exciting week. Today's exciting news is the kind of thing that gets your paws dancing bright and early. Yippee!  
Mother, Daughter & Son Book Reviews posted a review of our book and it contains, in our humble opinion, one of the most entertaining book reviews you will ever read. Kudos to Flame, the special guest reviewer! 

Flame, although you seem to identify with Stanley, I would like to be the first official member and founder of the Flame fan club. Actually, I believe that I should be the President of the Flame fan club. Why? Because that would make my signature line even more impressive and who else should be the President of your fan club than a smart cat?
