Happy New Year!

Have a wonderful 2013. 
We are not personal fans New Years Eve due to fireworks.  They are almost as scary as thunder and vacuums!
You know how the big ball drops in New York City? We do that too. The only difference is that our ball is a rubber glow-in-the-dark bouncy ball. Each year we mark how high it bounces. Our owners still don't where the crayon lines on the wall are coming from (hee, hee, hee).

Our book is a humorous chapter book about our lives.

PPS - A sample animal fact from Stanley: A hamster in the wild runs 20 miles every day! They go outside to look for food, this is most of the running. All this takes place at night, as they are nocturnal. Make sure to put  the hamster wheel in!

   Stanley and I are about to celebrate Christmas in our owner's home. What do you think of the picture we made them?  We cannot wait to play in the big cardboard boxes and wrapping paper.

Excerpt from The Perpetual Papers of the Pack of Pets:


The Christmas Tree Goes Up
     The Christmas tree is enjoyed by so many people and their pets. Katrina stared at the tree longingly wishing she could climb up at that very moment instead of having to wait until her owners left. Stanley wanted to move his dog bed behind the tree to become all comfy and cozy. Their owners were too big to fit back there so that meant super comfiness for two whole months.
     “Finally! They’re gone!” exclaimed Katrina. She wiggled her butt as she got ready to jump, “I am now going to go up the tree. Launch in three, two, and one.” The tree jostled as she joined an ornament on the fifth layer of the tree. She scurried up to the sixth level which was as far as she could go.

Out on Leanpub and editing

In just a few days, our ENTIRE book will be out on Leanpub. We are very excited for it all to be done.

Now all we are doing is working on editing. Editing, editing and more editing. So we have a way for a couple of readers to help us right now.

We are asking you, our readers, to help us with editing. Two readers, to be exact.

How to let us know you are interested:
Post in the comments below the phrase, "I would like to be a human (not pet) editor for your book." Then send us an email as well. You will find our email address on the right side of this page.  In your email to us please tell us that you  would like to be an editor for our book and promise us to send in your editing results before the due date.

The first two people to send us a comment AND email will be our official editor helpers and will receive a special thank-you gift.

We will announce the two official editors in the comments section below.

You will receive more details if you are one of the two who meet the requirements but here is the high-level. 

1. You must send in your editing results or you will not receive your Thank You Gift.
2. You must download the book from Leanpub. No worries, it is free right now. 
3. You must send in your editing comments/questions by December 21.
4. You must provide us with a mailing address so we may mail you your Thank You Gift.

The Thank You Gift
The Thank You Gift will be a signed paper back copy of the entire book, The Perpetual Papers of the Pack of Pets.  If all goes as planned and you do the necessary tasks, you will receive your Thank You Gift by the end of January.

Scratch Animation

Hello,

Stanley and I have recently discovered a new program called scratch. Stanley thought you got animated if you scratched on the ground. I told him it was a computer program. We are able to animate ourselves so you can learn more about us. We would like to thank scratch for the characters, background and item. This is our very first creation with Scratch. We love this program!
