Plagiarism dealt with! Not by wattpad, but by readers & editor!
Thank you is just a,simple word for an author of a book series to use in regard to their work being plagiarized!
If wasn’t for the editor of the series and the loyal readers that took this serious offense to heart, I believe I still would be fighting for the rights to my book. I’ll let the images I post speak for themselves!
Sorry, Nick….my editor, readers and copyrights scared her off before your response!
Now, let’s get back to the REAL DEAL! Getting Ancient Guardians Book III PUBLISHED!!!!

Plagiarism on wattpad: Attention fellow authors & Readers
I’m writing this, not only to defend my rights to the first book in my series: Ancient Guardians: The Legacy of the Key but, to bring to attention something that I stumbled across on wattpad.
This user, GraceRules is using my book as her own. I have never used wattpad, so I was quite confused what was really going on, and then I noticed where she was using my previous “Black Cover” edition and removed my author name.
It was very disheartening to come across this, and I hope that potential readers will understand that my award winning book is available on all reading sites. Authors, please check out wattpad if you’re not on it, search your book title and confirm that you are not a victim of this as I am.
Thank you. Below are snapshots I took of her using my material and promising to write more for them. She has been reported to wattpad and I do hope wattoad will take this seriously.

Please read: Raising money for Steph to knock out cancer!
I will admit that when Ancient Guardians: The Legacy of the Key was a finalist in the Reader’s Favorite award contest, I was speechless! Then, it received the silver award in the Fiction: Supernatural category. (This was just after I was informed the first book in the Ancient Guardians series won GOLD in the global e-book award contest.) I jumped around, did my happy dance and then after celebrating my selfish accomplishments, I was grounded with the realization that, ‘I’ had nothing to do with the book winning awards. If I ever had an opportunity to stand on a stage, with a platform to the world, I would thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for being by my side and holding my hand every step of the way, to get such a book to publish. God gave me this talent and helped me persevere through grueling edits (he still does, ie: Book 3) in order to have the courage to face readers around the world and publish this series.
Background check over…
With the success of becoming an award finalist, I’ve had the honor and privilege to be apart of the 2014 reader’s favorite private FB page. With this opportunity, I have learned from other authors and more importantly, connected with them.
Due to this, I was recently invited to drop my books prices to .99 cents each and use the proceeds of the sales to donate to an amazing fund.
Read more about her fight to knock out cancer here: Go Fund me.
Authors from around the US have banded together to reduce their e-books for a period of time in order to donate ALL of their proceeds to help fund her needs.
Without question, knowing the morals and values I was raised with growing up in a Christian home and, even though my book series is fantasy, sci-fi, romance…when you reach the captivating dimension in the first book, you will see where I bring back the earlier times, where chivalry existed, charity was a huge burden for even the “Empress” of this land. And therefore, it was without any reservation, that I as the author wouldn’t question being apart if this exclusive fund raising event.
With all of this said, Ancient Guardians: The Legacy if the Key is FREE on a e-reading sites. I have, for this cause only, have reduced, Book 2, “Ancient Guardians: The Uninvited” to .99 cents. I do hope you will consider purchasing this book. (All proceeds go to Steph to knock out cancer!)
I have already donated money to this cause, and it’s my hope that we can exceed that &100.00 by purchasing Book 2!
Right now, Amazon is the only e-book site that has lowered the second book’s price to .99 cents. Please stay tuned for other sited meeting this price as I will share them.

Ancient Guardians NOW an award winning book!!!
A HUGE thank you to all who have stood behind the scenes and watched as I took on the adventure of writing a novel. Thank you to my test readers, editors and those who sacrificed time with me in order to brave the Wonderful World of Readers in order to publish the first novel in the Ancient Guardians Novel Series.
This journey has definitely been an unforgettable one as I witness the second Book in the series continue to captivate readers! As I press on through editing in book 3, I sit humbled by where this book series is taking me. I have developed a reading fan base that enjoy the characters and their story as much as I do! WOW!
Right now, I am invited to stand alongside of Best Selling authors in Miami and receive The Legacy of the Key’s Silver Medal! I am beyond speechless!
THIS was a dream and adventure I ALMOST gave up on, after receiving the first Draft back from a professional editor! I’m so thankful I didn’t give up! Funny as it may seem, I listened to the characters that wanted their story so desperately told and I pressed on for them….for my readers!!!!
So, no matter how high the mountain, forget what your mind tells you when it encourages you to give up! Most of all, ignore everyone who tells you…“it can’t be done! You can’t do this!” (While laughing at you and your dream you decided to share with them) I chose not to listen and here we are…..
Look! I have a MAJOR award now :)

Things just got REAL!!!!
As I previously mentioned in a recent post, The Legacy if the Key is a finalist in two categories for the Reader’s Favorite award contest.
Category #1: Fiction Supernatural.
Category #2: Fiction Fantasy
I am now honored to be a part of the Facebook group that includes only the finalists in all categories! Watching the author who created this amazing group post the finalists in all categories is making all of this much more humbling for me. Being a finalist in this amazing contest is also an exclusive invitation to all finalist whether they receive Gold, silver, bronze, or honorable mention awards. Funny thing is, I feel as though I’ve already achieved something I would have never anticipated with this book and/or series. The Legacy of the Key has brought me to an entire different level of considering myself as a published authur by achieving this.
As I have said and will always say, I wrote this book series, because it was a series that I wanted to read! I enjoyed it so much that I felt obligated to share it with the wonderful world of readers! I still sit amazed at the feedback the series is receiving, which is that much more motivating to press on through grueling edits and best of all, contuing the story of Levi, Reece, Harrison and the Guardians.
So with all of this said, I may be taking a trip to Miami, Fl. to walk on stage as a winner or recognition as a finalist, which means I need a good expression for everyone… Robert Downey Jr is who I decided to turn to for inspiration! Time to practice in the mirror.
What do you think? I have to have some fun for a once in a lifetime opportunity..
Maybe I’ll just wear my new crazy hat…
Again, way to go Legacy of the Key!

Before He was Superman…..
Most authors, as well as readers, have visual images of who they see as their characters…and I did the same thing.
As I wrote, “Ancient Guardians: The Legacy of the Key” I had an image of my main hero character. At the time, he wasn’t known throughout the world, until Man of Steel hit the silver screen! As I wrote my manuscript, this man… Henry Cavill was the only person I could relate to Levi…not only by certain looks he had, but his personality nearly fit Levi Oxley’s perfectly. A perfect gentleman, chivalry and most of all loyalty! Now, don’t get me wrong…before you hit Google of images of him, I have to say, there are only certain pictures of him that resemble Levi.
Anyway as I worked hard on writing, editing and preparing my book to be published, I was informed that there was a fangirl following and rooting for him to be the lead character in the best selling book series 50 Shades of Grey. (Have not read it, but from what I learned…definitely NOT Levi. Then another following for him to play in another erotica book series if it became a movie. With all this said, I had to let go of this image of Henry as Levi. There was no way I would associate him with the book as there were other well known book readers obsessed with him as their lead man! Perfectly fine!
And then came…Man of Steel! Mr. Cavill was now known around the world as Superman. Following this actor before this incredible breakthrough for him, made me so happy that he finally did it! He not only was known around the world, but he landed one of his dream roles…Superman! Way to go, Henry!
So, by chance and with great surprise, I came across another actor that really hasn’t had “the breakthrough” yet. Amazingly, he fits my image of Levi Oxley perfectly!
Well now that I’ve let the cat out of the bag…I’ll give some images of what I saw as Levi through Henry Cavill! Enjoy.
Make sure you keep up, Man of Steel 2, Batman vs Superman comes out soon!

Ancient Guardians: Book 3 Video sneak peek! Watch “Jessica Simpson – I Wanna Love You Forever Lyrics” on YouTube
More than once I have mentioned that music inspires every part of my writing. As I listen to various songs on my iPod, a song will catch me and I have an entire book ready to be written. Then there are songs when I struggle to write particular scenes and or chapters a song will help to motivate it. It’s as if the song awakens the emotions I need in order to write with the passion a writer must have to write!
I will not lie, my favorite scenes to write are the fighting scenes and most of all, the love scenes. I believe I enjoy them so much because they are the biggest challenges!
SPOILER ALERT (For readers who haven’t read or finished Books 1&2 in the series)
For example, the song I’m about to share is an excellent example of that. In my third book, Levi and Reece FINALLY get their ‘Happily Ever After’ and it’s not at the end of the book series…how exciting is that?
Anyway, being married for 18 years, I must find those feelings of First Love and much anticipated wedding vows! Fortunately, as I struggled to get into character this song by Jessica Simpson rolled into the iPod lineup! (I have every song from every musician that you could imagine…thank goodness). I hadn’t heard or listened to this song for at least 19 years, when Jessica’s very first single was released. As the song played, my mind kicked right into gear and I was able to feel, know and understand EXACTLY how Reece felt about standing up, preparing to say her vows to Levi! This video could almost be a dead giveaway for what readers will read in Book 3, Wedding Celebration!
As for the song for their wedding night of strong, devoted and painfully anticipated night of love…well, I can’t give that one away! All I’ll say is when I finished writing, I literally said…”Is it hot in here or is it just me?” Ha! So with all of this said, here’s a beautiful video into the mind of SL Morgan as she prepared the character’s for wedding day! Enjoy!

Congrats to Ancient Guardians: The Legacy of the Key for it’s nominations in two categories for Readers Favorite!
After a long, grueling move from Houston, TX to California and a anniversary spent in Yosemite National park, I was amazed to see that Book 1 in the Ancient Guardians series had been nominated for two awards with Reader’s Favorite!
Reading that this was a pretty tough process and there were many books that were great that unfortunately weren’t selected, I was more than amazed to find that Ancient Guardians made it! I, at first, want to give credit to the other books and authors who have worked hard and have great books that unfortunately didn’t make it this far, believe me, I never expected The Legacy to accomplish this either.
Secondly, I am sincerely grateful for this nomination and still struggle to admit this happened…but, it was not competitions or recognition that gave me the courage that writer’s require to publish a book or book series, it was for my reading audience that would enjoy the unique escape the series offers them. To receive reviews, hear from readers that needed the escape into this enchanting dimension that brought them back into a different time period where Chivalry existed, is the reason I shared this book series! I was burdened to share this story, the characters and this captivating with everyone. Why? Because, I, as a reader, needed and enjoyed the escape as well! It’s why I write, it’s why I spend money for a professional editor and it’s why I have the courage to publish! If this book amazingly wins in it’s categories, I will say right now, it’s for my readers! I did it for them! They are why I write and share my crazy and vivid imagination with the world!
So with that said, let’s see how the Legacy of the Key does…and if this book can win!!!!
How I feel as an author? I think this picture below describes it best.
Never give up, never quit! You never know where your path is leading you!
