Back to work….Ancient Guardians Book 3
With Ancient Guardians: The Legacy of the Key (Book 1) published and The Uninvited (Book 2) now published…vacation is over! Time to start rewriting/revising/rereading Book 3 in the series and send it off to an editor only to repeat all of the above again!!!!

My inspiration for the Guardian horses in the Ancient Guardians series “Knights of Shadow – Friesian Horse” on YouTube
An amazing tribute to the friesian horses! I was inspired to use this particular breed of horse to create the Majestic Guardian War Horses in the Ancient Guardian novel series! In doing research for my book, this is one video I watched many times in order to write about Areion, Saracen and Arrow who you’ll soon learn more about as the series moves foward! I hope you’ll enjoy the captivating beauty of the Friesian horse in this video!

Those of you who have read Ancient Guardians: The Legacy of the Key and have been more than patient waiting for this book, I can’t wait for you to come back to Pemdas with the characters!!

Every writer needs inspiration…
Michael Vick posted this quote on Facebook…and as I am preparing to publish another book in my series, this quote hit home! I decided to make a collage of me as a young, new writer and the fact that I am learning something new with every edit and critique! Writing is the easy and fun part for me…editing, revising, editing and combing through a book a million times before publishing for the entire reading world to love or hate, THAT is the hard part! I’ve had professional editors on the job, but I believe the person who sacrifices the most in regard to getting one of my books to publish, is my biggest critic….and I would never have the courage to publish without her!

Book 2: Cover is APPROVED!!!!
Ancient Guardians: The Uninvited BLACK EDITION has finally been APPROVED! YEAH! There’s a little something special this time on the back of the book, and also we are including a sneak peak into Ancient Guardians Book 3
All we’re doing now is line-edits and proofing! So exciting to read this book for the hundredth time!!!

The High price of being a writer!
I felt the need to post this for all of us writers out there that pour our heart and souls into our manuscripts! Obviously, we neglect a lot of things while we write, re-write, revise, edit, revise, rewrite, edit, write, write and write and then eventually we have the courage to publish.
I should finally have my second book “The Uninvited” published this month and today I’m on my way to meet with my hair dresser! Let’s just say…I haven’t seen her in a while!
With that said, I’m reminded of one of my favorite scenes in the movie: “Just Go with it!” I have a strange feeling my hairdresser will be saying the same thing!!!
(And yes, my husband would act just like Adam Sandler in this scene!)

Holding the PROOF of The Ancient Guardians Novel Series Book II: The Uninvited (Black Edition) in my hands!!! I wish my smile was brighter, but I was in the middle of test read edits when it was delivered! Cover needs a little more work…but this baby is almost ready for publishing!!!!
