still using up some of my rub-ons and this time incorporated some tapes from my VAST collection i am hoarding. i added in my favorite potholes stencil, some color and a quote to finish the page. the quote reads, "only those who care about you can hear you when you're quiet"

a "super" family halloween!
even though Mckenna doesn't trick-or-treat anymore and Payton is too grown up to actually walk around the neighborhood with us, they still like to dress up as a family costume each year.
this year we were the DC comics : (from left to right) Payton and Pixel as Batgirl & Batman, Tango as Robin, i as Supergirl and Bill as Superman, McKenna as Wonder Woman, Kharma as Underdog and Cole sporting his new glasses as Clark Kent.

R+F Pigment Sticks
in theory i loved the idea of oil paint pigments in a stick. i had seen other artists use them and had fallen in love with the layers of texture and the depth of color...
but i hadn't actually used them myself, until yesterday.
i cant believe i am about to say this, but i think i might have loved them more than acrylics!
