"48 weeks" online course

For the past 6 years I have been art journaling, seriously keeping a visual diary of who I am as an Artist, developing techniques, learning new products and building a comprehensive working knowledge of working in mixed-media layers. almost religiously for the last 3 years of those 6 years, I have been keeping an "Inspiration Journal".

collage monday


Cm12.7.13-3-

many pages of my art journal start with the papers that cover my work surface. if you watched Septembers Canvas Create, this was the paper that caught all the pouring medium/paint overflow off my canvas. i thought it was too pretty to trash so i cut a portion of it down and adhered it directly to my journal pages. i liked it so much that all i added was the turquoise alphabets, stamp quote, sticker bird and distressing around the edges to make it complete!

new twist on a holiday tradition...

i saw this idea on pinterest and was totally inspired to try it for myself!

we have always had a small window/door style advent calendar, inside each door would be a small candy or a coin or 2. the kids have always loved waking up and opening their door...just the surprise of it even though it was never a big token always made it special.


this year i thought it might be fun to get small dollar store or fun style games and gifts to fill the bags and make everyday leading...
