monday yoga & paint progress...
a little bit more progress on this one today.
i got to a certain spot and couldn't "see" where i wanted it to go next, that's when i know it is time to stop.
and susan kicked our a$$ today in yoga...sore tomorrow!
as susan would say, "come to know the truth of who you are." all i can say is i may have had a come to jesus moment about 30 minutes in!

"48 weeks" - week 1 MAGIC...
as a teacher, there is nothing like the feeling of giving instruction and then experiencing it, unfold in the literal hands of someone else, like a snowball gaining momentum while rolling down a mountain...the ideas growing larger and more powerful.

this morning at the studio...
on mondays "our gang", buffy, susan and i, get together for yoga and painting. (we were missing buffy today her gorgeous daughter got married in NY this sunday..we missed you buff!!, but decided to still meet up)
i think true adult friends are really hard to make and it wasn't until this last year that we found each other. the whole idea of doing yoga was susan's idea, as a seasoned yogi, she shared that the thought process and the space created from yoga was essentially what i was asking t...

a new year, a new perspective!
i know that jan 1st is just a day, but to me, a new year means opportunity to reevaluate your goals. i am a goal oriented gal. i like making lists, i like crossing things off those lists and i like pushing myself and setting goals like reaching for dreams.
last year i set out to do big things, my word for 2013 was "ACHIEVE" but i realized quite quickly that even though ideas sound good, in execution they could be daunting!

Been playing with pencil...
