Signing recap and new sale alert

I also had a chance to meet with Kim from My Thoughts Exactly blog on Saturday. Kim is very brave - she recorded her interview with me and then transcribed it on her blog. Why do I call that brave? Because if you have met me in person, you know that I ramble. A lot, plus sprinkle phrases like "you know" "I mean" and "as far as" in almost every sentence I utter (it's a terrible habit! Thank God I write instead of work as a public speaker!) Plus, you could create a drinking game from how many times I start a sentence with the word "And," so Kim was a real trooper for weeding through that recording and making me sound semi-coherent in her post. She's also a seriously sweet person, so check out the interview with me and her blog.  We talked about influential books, taking criticism, fan fiction and more, so maybe I answered something that you've been wondering about *wink*.

More release week deals and giveaways

As I told you last week, I had a bunch of cool stuff coming your way during release week for The Beautiful Ashes, book one in the Broken Destiny series. Last Saturday, it was all of my Night Huntress novels being only $1.99 in ebook for the Kindle Daily Deal*. The Beautiful Ashes playlist and more

Next week is release week for me and I've got a bunch of things in store for you over the next several days. Seriously, if you don't regularly check my blog, this is your head's up that you will want to change that from now until the end of next week or you will miss out on some cool deals (*cough, tomorrow, cough*) giveaways and more. * With every book I write, there's a song that ends up getting played more than the others. For The Beautiful Ashes, it was Dark Horse. There's something about the beginning chorus that reminded me of Ivy:

And the end chorus reminded me of Adrian:
