This Is For My Cousin
This is for my cousin. Recently I did a week of “hot dogs in unusual places” gifs because I was swamped for time and couldn’t write actual posts. My cousin asked if I could do a pickle version. I’ve got another heavy week already, so the answer is yes. Here’s the one I sent her in response.
Buckle up.

Why did UNIQLO kill the Sesame Street Characters?
That may not be what they intended, but that’s what those X’d eyes generally mean to me.
Those guys is dead.

Sorry, Spam Comment
I almost feel bad. I just deleted a spam comment that included the text “Thank you for allowing me to comment.” In fact, other than some generic thing about how great the post was, that’s all there was to the comment (plus the spam links). Regardless, they were thanking me for something I did not end up doing.
I did not allow them to comment.
Should I feel bad? They pretended to show gratitude. However, I suppose I pretended to allow them to comment, given that they could submit their spam comment and it would only get deleted during moderation. I would moderate regardless, but still.
I’m going to decide that’s enough.

Still On Track For A Low Reading Year
Well, I only clocked in at about 104 books by the end of June. I’m only on track for about 208 for the year so far. That’ll be my lowest year since 2010. That isn’t important in any way, and is well above my Goodreads challenge goal of 150, but I still notice it.
Some of it is reading bigger books. Some of it is having to get my house ready to sell and move. Some of it is editing and then promoting Roses are Red, Violets are Stealing Loose Change from my Pockets While I Sleep.
There’s a number of things. Not that it means anything, but I’m just thinking about it.

Posting Another Meme I Made Because It Didn’t Get Enough Attention On Facebook
I don’t often make memes. When I do, I usually post them to Facebook. When I don’t get enough attention for them, I post them here too because I think they are way funnier than anyone else does.
We’re at that place yet again.
