We’ve been watching season 3 of Stranger Things and I’ve been getting nostalgic for all the old malls, thinking about how they are dying. Then the show mentions all the controversy about the rise of the malls back in the late 70s-early 80s and and all the downtowns and local shopping districts that those malls killed. Nostalgia aside, it’s harder to feel as sad about the malls remembering that. Maybe these things just go in cycles.
