It Still Means I’ve Been There

My wife and I were back visiting our home town over the holidays. While there, she picked a place for breakfast because we hadn’t tried it before. I told her I had tried it, and upon being asked (since she didn’t remember having been there), I confirmed it was once in later 1992 or early 1993. I still maintain that this meant I had been there before. I wasn’t arguing we shouldn’t go, just that we couldn’t say I was trying a totally new place.

Those Darn French

Now I’m getting French spam comments. Not sure what this one is about:

Google Translate says this is:

Why it did WinAs noted above, Ibrahimovic did little or no luck.

I doubt that’s correct, but I have little idea what it should say. These all appear to be sports related, but the logic behind them is unclear. My posts are certainly not sports related.

Why Hate On Brussels?

Why hate on Brussels? I just got a spam comment that read:

that is really informative. I will watch out for brussels

But why? My post was an old one dissing Anne Rice. It didn’t even mention Brussels, so why are they hating on it? What do they have against Brussels? Auto-generated anti-Belgium sentiments are disturbing.
