A lively bottle of Punishment, shared with +Don Burnside.

Extremely drinkable. If you like heat. In no way a 'novelty' beer to me. So if you have a bottle you are askared of, call me.

Because how else would you to go prom in BFE Oklahoma? To say I was the best dressed boy would be an understatement.

Top hat, tales, cape and cain. Damn skippy.

(Sheila found an envelop of photos we'd not yet scanned. So I'll persecute you with the best ones.)

Reposted because of the autoawesome treatment!

That's me rockin' the acoustic bass, macho lapels and drop-dead brown checker pants. I probably forced my cousin to pose next to me just to get the chicks.

I think I still have that outfit somewhere...

Check your assumptions at the door.

Before reading the attached article, consider on trend you're resisting or scoffing at. It could be Google Glass. It could be publishing. It could be commercially viable space travel. Whatever.

Got it? Now. Read the article. And reconsider how your views might seem to you in the not so distant future.

The infobesity epidemic.

Here's an interesting submission paper from +Mark Pearrow, a research engineer at MIT. In it, he posits the same evolutionary adaptations that lead to obesity are leading to infobesity his self-proclaimed "not very imaginative" word.

It's important to note that this is a submission paper, and not a research paper. The author is making connections and citing the need for more study. But it's a fascinating (and a little obvious in hindsight) read.

Bacon covered Tweets, anyone?

A tasty Crime!

Last night, my pal +Don Burnside showed up to help me power through Crime by +Stone Brewing Co.. And I gotta tell you... we were impressed!

Hot? Sure. But don't lump this beer in with the rest of the "novelty" beers that add peppers for the shock value. This is a solid beer, with great flavor all the way through.

We polished off the bomber 2-3 oz at a time. I think I might be intimidated looking at a full pint glass of this beast, so I'd recommend going with tasting glasses.

Of course, if you aren't a fan of hot and spicy, then you're not going to like this at all. But if you aren't afraid of ordering medium at your local Thai place, having fresh jalapenos on your nachos, or a generous pull of Sriracha on just about anything, you'll dig this beer.

Don and I were surprised when we reached the bottom of the bottle. But we were still wise enough not to move on to Punishment. Not because we couldn't handle the heat, but because we wanted to let our taste buds reset to enjoy it properly. That's next on the list!

Boxing - and unboxing - redefined.

The Rapid Packing Container

You know that amazing "you'll never fold a t-shirt the same way again" video? This is just like that, only for shipping clerks.

But the coolest part? The most awesome unboxing experience every single time.

Elfies = selfies taken by an elf, what else?

I'm on the down-side of apathetic over the whole "Elf on a Shelf" craze. However, +Anne Wheaton's creation fills this curmudgeon with joy.

See all the elfies: http://goo.gl/6VrIwg

Props to +Wil Wheaton for the original share!
