Cover reveal – Where There’s a Will…
It’s been so long since I released anything new so I am so excited to share this cover with you.
Where There’s a Will…
Coming soon…
The Blurb:
When Cosmic Tush hire the back room in Zoe’s pub to record the video to their comeback single, her life is flipped upside down, and it’s not because her favourite band invade her life.
Will Harvey, just as popular within the fandom, is a pushy charmer, and he has his eye on Zoe. Not that she complains that much, what’s wrong with a bit of harmless flirting and a fling?
It’s just a shame her heart and her head are at odds with each other while she tries to maintain a certain amount of distance during the short time Will’s in London, but when he returns to the US, she finds it harder than she thought to get over him.
Where there’s a Will… will he find a way to make the both of them realise they deserve more?
A pre-order will be going live soon, and as soon as I have the link, I’ll be posting it to my Facebook page and other social media.
I honestly can’t wait for you all to read this book.

There She Goes – Now Available Only On Wattpad
[image error]
I wrote a short story for a charity anthology earlier this year. Each poem or short story was based around a song title, with the majority being based around 90s Britpop. I chose There She Goes by The Las.
I originally wrote this story after watching the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why as some kind of ‘alternative’. I loved the show, especially the way the makers didn’t shy away from showing the horrific things Hannah went through. To me, that was the overall message of the show (and the book it’s based upon). One little thing may seem insignificant, but when it’s coupled together with a handful of other insignificant events and then followed by something extremely traumatic, some people can’t see a way out. Like Hannah, far too many teenagers (and other people) think that suicide is the only way to make their own personal hell go away.
In this story, I wanted to show that yes, there is another way. It may seem just as drastic, but it’s not as permanent.
As mentioned in the author note in the beginning, I’m a mother, and the idea of bullying getting so bad that my child is unable to see a way out scares the life out of me. I’m scared of being like Hannah’s parents, and being too busy to notice something was wrong, or being told everything is ‘fine’ when I do ask.
It’s not easy to be the one person to against the flock, to stand up for someone others have deemed unworthy of positive attention; but it is so important to try and be that person to the best of your ability. Extend a hand of friendship, you may save someone’s life.
As the story was part of a charity anthology that is no longer on sale, I uhmed and ahhed over what to do with it. I decided that I wouldn’t have felt right charging for it and make money on something that was written to help others, so I have decided to post it on Wattpad. I shall be updating weekly with a new chapter.
If you have the time to take a look, the prologue is now live. I would love to hear your thoughts.

Opinions Needed…
I’ve been thinking. Dangerous I know, but bare with me.
Most of the books I write are romance books; or at least have romance at their core. They span a range of romance subgenres such as contemporary, erotic, and young adult. It’s been making me wonder…
I’m currently writing the first book in a possible 5 book series that has no romance at it’s core. I want to get as many of the series written as I can, so that I can release them fairly close together so there isn’t a long wait between each book.
The problem I’m having, is how I categorise the books.
The rough series synopsis is that it revolves around a boyband who win a televised talent show and their personal and professional lives beyond. Each book will be from the point of view of each band member.
I have no idea how well this series will be received, but it is a series that I really want to write.
Here’s a little snippet from book one which is still being written:
“I honestly thought it was going to be us this time.” Josh spoke quietly, but we all heard him as if he’d shouted. “I’ve never felt so sick in my life.”
Brad put one of his hands, calloused from playing his guitar, on Josh’s shoulder.
“Me too mate, me too.” He spoke just as softly.
Is this series something you would read? I’m honestly interested in your opinion.

#MilesofSmiles – My list of things that make me smile
Most people think “ewww, Monday”, so Kyra Lennon and Clare Dugmore thought of a great way to brighten up our Mondays.
The aim of the challenge is on June 12 (today) those taking part post their lists of things that make them smile/ make them happy/ cheer them up when things are crappy. The obvious things like family, friends etc. are excluded. What we’re looking for is the little, almost trivial things, that brighten your day.
Here’s my list of things that make me smile:
1: Louis Tomlinson
This is a bit of a double edged sword because he’s so pretty and small, but I hate him for being all of those things. So, whenever he posts on Instagram, I smile and die a little bit inside. It’s hard being a fangirl sometimes!
2: Shadowhunters
Again, fangirl issues. The books and the TV show are literally an obsession for me, and Netflix enables it but giving us a new episode every Tuesday. One that myself and a few friends analyse in minute detail until the following week. Then, the Shadowhunters official Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram post multiple times a day – teasers for the following week, BTS photos, and snippets of episodes aired… It’s tough, but oh so good!
3: Books
Whether it’s reading them, collecting them, writing them, or talking about them, books will always be my escape. If life is getting me down, I will pick up an old favourite that I know will make me smile and laugh. There are also books that make me cry and rage, but I still love them just as much. I’m slowly running out of space in my house for the books I keep buying, and my Kindle is filling up, but I will be buying books until my dying day!
4: Music
[image error]
Music In The Heart
My music taste is rather eclectic, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. My writing playlist on Spotify goes from One Direction, to Oasis, to The Dubliners, to Linkin’ Park. I literally listen to anything and everything (Not a huge fan of metal or gangster rap though). If I’m in a specific mood, I listen to certain tracks, but if I just want to get the inspiration going, I put a mix on.
5: Alone time
[image error]
time for me concept clock closeup on white background with red and black words
I love my family and friends, but every now and then I need space to be alone. To just be me. This is when I curl up on the sofa, crack open a good book, and listen to music. I can sit for hours doing nothing, but by the end of it, I feel pretty accomplished. It saves my sanity when real life gets a bit overbearing, yet it cemets the pleasure I have in the choices I have made in my life so far.
So, these are just a few things that make me smile. I’d love to hear yours!

The Girls and Boys Cover is FINALLY HERE!
It feels like I’ve been working on Girls and Boys for forever, but it finally has a release date. Before we get to that, I need to reveal the cover.
Here it is…
How amazing is it? J.C. Clarke of The Graphics Shed has blown me away once more with her graphics. I ADORE this cover.
Now, down to brass tacks.
Girls and Boys will be released on 4th July 2017 – I will be getting a pre-order sorted over the next few days, but for now, you can add it to your TBR list over on Goodreads.
And, to whet your whistle a little, check out the playlist I have created for the book over on Spotify. It certainly takes me back to my mid to late teenage years.
I hope you love the cover as much as I do![image error]
