Started His $19K/Month Business From a Barber’s Chair
Maciej CupialFounder of Calendesk $19,000 monthly revenue
An interview with Maciej Cupial from Poland, founder of Calendesk…
Origin story…
I started Calendesk in 2020/2021 after a conversation with my hairdresser, who was struggling to manage bookings efficiently.
He wanted a simple tool but couldn’t find one that fit his needs. Given my programming background, I thought, “Why not build a solution myself?”
How Maciej validated the idea…
Instead of trying to build the “perfect” SaaS, I decided to launch quickly and get feedback from real users. So, I created a landing page with a clear CTA, launched Google Ads to drive traffic, and offered a free beta to early users.
I love how he got the idea by talking with his hairdresser
Similar story with this person on Reddit: I made $450 off one client!
Try to strike up conversations with business owners you interact with, learn what problems they have, see if you can provide a solution (doesn’t have to be software).
Simple Amazon Word Search Books Earning $100’s Per Day
Easter Basket StuffersBook $273-488 estimated daily revenue
Sean Dollwet posted this video a year ago about publishing low-content books on Amazon…
At the start he shows examples of kids word search books on Amazon + estimated earnings
Sean’s video was posted right before Easter and those are all Easter-themed books, so earnings were likely peaking around then
Greg Gottfried has a more recent video on the same topic where he says…
This is the inside of [my Amazon KDP] account… in the first month it has made $7.89, and that is only with seven of these books uploaded.
This was just a couple hours of work total… no advertising, no marketing… these books are just selling on their own.
$7.89 ain’t a lot but also not a bad start, could see that increasing over time
A full hour-long tutorial from Greg where he breaks down how to do this…

$145 in 1 Day Reselling Free Items On Facebook (With AI)
Codie SanchezSerial Entrepreneur $145 revenue in 1 day
New video from Codie Sanchez…
Similar to another story we featured recently, she’s using ChatGPT Operator to find free items listed on Facebook Marketplace, get them delivered to her home, then selling them for a profit
In one day, she ended up selling a chair, a table and a stroller for $145 total…
If we keep doing this for a week, that’s $1015, not bad at all.
But Codie doesn’t mention her expenses, which include $200/mo for Operator, and $100+ for delivery of just one item
She also admits there was a good bit of “babysitting” of the AI required, but that is likely to change soon…
In the next 5 years, I think this game is completely different. Which is why we have to learn this stuff now.
My main takeaway: reselling free items on Facebook Marketplace can be a profitable side hustle if you do the pickup and delivery yourself
And as AI improves you can increasingly automate everything else.

$515 Already From His Plumbing Job Board
RomelOwner of PlumbingJobs.com $515 revenueRomel, the owner of PlumbingJobs.com reports that he launched the site last October
and it has earned $515 so far via premium listings…
I’m not a very technical guy and I don’t know how to code. So the best way for me was learning to build [the site] using WordPress through YouTube.
But Romel didn’t start completely from scratch: he bought the PlumbingJobs.com domain, probably for a few $1000
And that domain was host to a plumbing job board previously, so it likely had some SEO juice.
Still, his success tells me that there could be a job board like this for every profession.
Further proof via another Redditor who writes…
I’ve successfully built small-scale job boards that generate passive income…
$3,000 to $4,000 monthly [revenue] per niched job board. We have built a system that automates the entire process.
Check if there’s already a go-to job board for a niche you’re interested in.
If not, how about building it yourself?
$200-400 Per Night From an Old Polaroid Camera
u/SolarCuriosityRedditor $300 average nightly revenueSomeone asked on Reddit…
What’s the most unexpected side hustle that actually made you money?
One reply…
I found an old Polaroid camera when I was cleaning my grandparent’s place and walked around downtown and offered to take people’s picture for $5.
For some reason people love the nostalgia of a Polaroid physical picture. I would make anywhere from $200-400 per night.
I could see this being a profitable side hustle in tourist areas. Hang out in front of popular landmarks and offer to take cute photos
The same person says they also tried the piano removal business idea I covered a few weeks back, made some money doing that, too.
He Sold His Daily Challenge Website for $50,000
Florin PopFounder of iCodeThis.com $117,000 revenue
Florin Pop writes…
I sold my first SaaS, iCodeThis.com, for $50,000!
Origin story…
Back in December 2022, I wanted to build a daily coding challenge platform for frontend developers. The goal was to create real-world challenges that would help devs improve their skills by building something, not just watching endless tutorials…
The platform started as a free challenge site, but I later introduced different paid tiers
Florin earned $67,000 from the project during the two years he ran it, and sold when he started feeling burned out.
So $117,000 total revenue from the project in 2 years
I’m thinking this could work for other industries / professions…
real-world challenges that would help [target audience] improve their skills by building something, not just watching endless tutorials.
