$200K Per Year Sharing Industry-Specific AI Tips

Write with AIWrite with AINewsletter $200,000 annual revenue

📝 Matt McGarry writes…

10 Newsletter Business Ideas You Can Start This Weekend

#8 is to create a newsletter sharing industry-specific AI tips and tactics 👇

This idea is modeled after Write with AI.

It’s a weekly paid newsletter that trains people how to write with AI.  They send a new ChatGPT / AI prompt to your inbox every week.

It costs $20/month or $200/year. They already have $200K in ARR through the paid newsletter subscription.

You can take this concept and apply it to other categories like:

• AI for marketers
• AI for lawyers
• How to design with AI using Midjourney or DALL·E

You don’t need to be an AI expert to do this either.

Simply research and share practical AI use cases for your industry 😎

AbbasAbbasFounder of SoloPush $2000 monthly recurring revenue

🇦🇿 From an interview with Abbas from Azerbaijan…

I’m the founder of SoloPush… a Product Hunt alternative for solo makers…

In just 3 weeks, SoloPush brought in over 20,000 visitors and 120,000+ pageviews… Today, we have over 300 users, including 60+ paying customers…

It hit $2,000 MRR just 19 days after launch.

Abbas is working on the project all by himself 💪

Marketing…

I posted about SoloPush on Reddit and Twitter. That’s it. From there, it spread…

The biggest growth driver is simple: the market needs this. Solo makers are looking for places to share their products. We’re giving them that.

Similar to a story we shared a few weeks back…

$6400 Last Month From His Product Hunt Alternative

Goes to show that there’s plenty of demand for alternatives to popular products 🔥

A Shortcut For Finding Good Product Ideas

💬 Andrea Bosoni tweets it…

look at the narratives influencers are pushing and tap into the demand they’re creating.

Just look at Bryan Johnson and what he’s doing around longevity.

It’s not a coincidence that many new startups are launching in the health monitoring space.

Doing this removes the burden of having to educate an unaware audience and shortens the sales cycle.

What big influencers are you following?

What narratives are they pushing? 🧐

Can you ride that wave somehow?

Peter Dgt follows up with a ChatGPT prompt to find product ideas, beginning with…

You are a 0.1% market researcher who focuses solely on fundamental truths

Culture is shifting — identify not passing trends, but true monumental shifts that have at least six months of behavioral evidence in the market.

Focus on areas where users are already aware of the need (no education required), but the market is underserved — meaning there is clear demand but low supply.

She’s Earned $150K As a Creator on LinkedIn

April LittleApril LittleLinkedIn Creator $125,000 from brand partnerships

If you’re thinking to build an audience, consider doing it on LinkedIn 👍

From a recent report

Creators are flocking to LinkedIn — and brands’ dollars are right behind them.

As LinkedIn positions itself more firmly as a home for creators, influencer marketers who operate within the platform’s ecosystem say that their business is booming.

One example cited 👇

LinkedIn creator April Little, who has over 250,000 followers on LinkedIn and said that she has earned approximately $150,000 through LinkedIn brand partnerships over the past two years.

Looks like April was highly successful in the corporate world before becoming a creator on LinkedIn 😎

But another creator we highlighted recently shows that you don’t need a great background or a big following to earn good money this way…

She’s Earning $10K/Month From 16K Followers on LinkedIn

This Marketplace Launched His $25K/Month Business

Ilia PirozhenkoIlia PirozhenkoFounder of Perfect Wiki $25,000 monthly revenue

📝 Ilia Pirozhenko writes

I founded Perfect Wiki — a SaaS product for creating internal company knowledge bases that works directly within Microsoft Teams…

I gradually grew to a steady income of $250,000 a year over five years… Right now, I earn around $25,000 per month [90% profit margin].

He got laid off in 2020 and tried building a translator app for the Zoom Marketplace, then the Microsoft Teams Marketplace 🛠

That app didn’t pan out but Ilia sensed there was plenty of opportunity in the latter marketplace…

I decided to dive deeper into analyzing what other problems Microsoft Teams users were facing and what kind of service I could offer them. I was confident I’d find a niche because the traffic and activity on the marketplace were high — a ready-made customer base was just in front of me. I just needed to find a product idea that would solve a real problem.

Check out the Microsoft Teams Marketplace, look for apps with lots of low ratings, see if you can build something better 👀

Her 1-Person Business Earns $200,000+ Per Year

Sophie MillerSophie MillerFounder of Pretty Little Marketer $200,000+ annual revenue

💬 From an interview with the founder of Pretty Little Marketer

Sophie Miller is a leading marketing community expert and content creator who has built a global following of over 600,000 across platforms… she specializes in making social media simple while placing community at the heart of her marketing strategies.

🚀 She started the business as a student in mid-2020…

I felt overwhelmed by the marketing industry and noticed a significant gap; there wasn’t a space that made marketing accessible while providing the comfort of community, so I decided to create it myself.

Her first paid product was a £2.50 LinkedIn webinar 🤑

Now…

Sophie’s income is split between brand partnerships, speaking fees and her PLM membership income. For the past three years, she’s been a multi-six-figure earner, and she’s set to double last year’s numbers this year.

Love how her idea for the biz came from noticing “a significant gap” in the industry she was interested in.

What do you wish existed in your target niche/industry? How about filling that gap yourself? 🤔

How To Turn Client Work into a Scalable Business

Michael Houck’s advice for founders 👇

Become a VA for early customers…

after you do some customer discovery with them, offer to take on an area of work they’re either having trouble delegating or haven’t yet hired someone for and deliver the results as a service provider…

Over time, automate the process for yourself. Remove the human in the loop.

And then sell the solution back to them as a product at a lower rate than you would have charged for the service.

Regular VAs and freelancers can do this, too.

Start by offering clients a basic service, then automate and productize that service 🤖

Find new services to automate by talking with your existing clients, figure out what else they need help with.

Easiest Way to Make Quick $$ With no Money or Skills

Mike RMike RSide Hustler $100 per hour

Mike R spent a few weeks picking up free items “from people moving or estate sales” then reselling.

Mainly small furniture pieces and electronics.

His results

I spent at max 45 min a week picking up stuff and listing it. Most of the time is spent just going back and forth in chats and coordinating with people…

During the month, I was able to pickup 20 items and listed 6 items from my own things for 26 items sold in total at $25 ea…

I was probably averaging about $100/hr 🚀

During the month he met a father and son who do something similar via Facebook Marketplace and average about $6000 monthly profit.

Mike’s conclusion…

this is BY FAR the easiest way to make a quick $$ in a day or two with no money or skills needed.

You will need a car, phone and cell service / internet connection, but that’s it!
