Ready to go…

So I spent an hour or two reading through Wolf Claimed earlier and making sure there weren’t any major mistakes in it (if you find some when you read it I’m so sorry!!) and changed a few things so that it made more sense and then made it kindle friendly. It is now ready to be published:

I know it will likely take 24 hours to become available on the Amazon sites, so I’m thinking either Thursday for Friday publication or Friday for Saturday. I haven’t made my mind up yet, but it will be available to buy in the next few days.

I think…it’s finished!

I had this sudden spurt of resolve yesterday, an I-will-do-this-today-if-it’s-the-last-thing-I-do sort of thing and you know what? I did. I was on a roll and after letting Natalie have a read through it earlier today and changing one small bit, I am pleased to say that I think it’s done. Finished!

Yay! *happy dance*

I’m not entirely sure when I’ll be making it into an e-book yet, it will be fairly soon though, I’m sure. Maybe the 15th or so after having a good read through it to check for any mistakes or wrong spellings of words and stuff. And then I’ll probably start work on the third, though I haven’t quite figured out who it should be. I thought I had but after finishing this I’m not so sure anymore…

After realizing the hours of journalists were not productive to any type of social or family life, she settled into a job at a publishing syndicate. She worked with comics, astrology columns, word puzzles and feature columns for six years. Although she enjoyed her time there, Hollie decided to leave the nine-to-five world and join the twenty-four/seven world of motherhood. Now she edits from home.

When not writing, editing or reading, Hollie can be found baking cookies or watching more than her fair share of crime TV. She’s a loyal Royals and Chiefs fan.

Haha! My book has finally arrived

Wow…I have something I’ve written and printed, and it’s in my hand. It’s a strange feeling, really.

It doesn’t quite look like that in real life, though. My phone’s made the colours sharper than they are. It’s grey, not blue, the background of the picture so it doesn’t look as mysterious as the picture makes out.

And you know what? I want to change some things about it now. The size, the font, the page colour, maybe add some page numbers…

But it is quite cool for a first proof copy. I’m still a happy bunny

Lover At Last has just arrived in the post!!

O.M.G!! So giddy right now!!!

You may know I’ve been waiting for this book for almost a year now, so to have it in my hands is amazing.

I’ve heard that it doesn’t completely focus on Blay and Quinn’s relationship but after building it up for 10 books, I’m just happy it’s finally arrived and I have it!! It’s just a case of when to read it now. I want to read the two Guild Hunter books I have first, so probably the middle of next week now. But after what is probably almost a year of waiting I’m sure I can wait a little longer…right?

Post came!

Two books, I’ve been dying to come for the past week have come! You already know I love Darynda Jones’ Charley Davidson series, so the fifth book from The Works for £1.99?!?! Hell yes!! I also recently read the first book in the Guild Hunter series by Nalini Singh and fell in love, also from The Works (that shop is a God send!) but unfortunately they didn’t have the second book in the store so ordered it offline and it came today. I am in book heaven at the minute. I just need to hurry up and finish If I Die by Rachel Vincent before I can devour these two books.

I’m still awaiting my own book, which I have ordered from CreateSpace. My indie author friend Natalie has received her so I’m eagerly awaiting mine now. I’m also still waiting on two paperbacks I’ve won: Nocturne and Eversea, both signed New Adult books. Fingers crossed they come soon, too
