Ruby again
Well i’ve been working on Ruby again and the second part/story is almost done–a crazy hook up/threesome, but not quite–and story three where it changes from just sex to feelings is going well as well…not sure what chapter/part 4 is going to be about yet but everything turns out good in the end.
I’ve added a bit of part 1 to the excerpts page above

Vegas
Well off to Vegas tomorrow and i’m sure i’ll be able to find a lot of inspiration for my stories, I’m even taking my trusty notebook where The Concubine and Ruby are being written. Might even get an idea for something else…eeeh, cant wait now

Back to Ruby
Well for the moment i’m going back to Ruby again…i had a new lease of inspiration the other day after a talk with my best friend and now i have more ideas about how i want the story to develop. Still unsure of how many stories will be in the series, though probably 3 or 4. Fingers crossed it goes as planned.

Classics??
Well i recently joined goodreads as mentioned in a previous post and i’ve been exploring the site and updating my account with all the books i’ve read/not read but on my kindle and i saw the trivia heading under the explore feature.
So i was answering questions and couldnt help noticing a lot of them were about classic books… And i had no idea of the answer on many of them, so guessed…and got a few right
My point with this is…as a writer (i’ll admit i’m only an amateur at the minute) should i be more familiar with the classics? Should i take the time to read them? Be inspired by them?

Something New
Just posted this on the FB page and then thought i’d post it on here too…
Started writing something new…
I’ve called it “The Dark” for now but it might change considering it doesn’t exactly have a definite plot.
It’s about a twenty year old girl who’s trying to keep her and her younger half-sister safe after the murder of their mum a few months before.
They are only travelling around the city at night, thinking it safer, that is, until they run into a tall, blonde haired man telling them the girl’s father has sent him to bring them back with him so he can keep them safe until the threat against them is eliminated. The girl (Abbie) doesnt believe the man (who i havent named yet) and walks away from him.
They dont get far before tyre’s squeal and two cars appear. Out get several armed men and something insides screams that these are the same men that tortured and killed their mother…
That’s about as far as I’ve gotten but like i said it has no definite plot so it might fail miserably yet

A Few Things (Well, two…)
Firstly, my blog has never been viewed as much since i put the link up on Chapter 1 of The Party Planner so thank you for taking the time to visit
And secondly, I’m now on goodreads, so if anyone’s a member and read any of my 4 published stories; Hugh and Brooke, The Sapphire Diadem, Bring Me To Life, Spring Creek Romance (Childhood Enemies & Tammy’s Story) or Her Daughter’s Fiancé before they were deleted from Short-Fiction.co.uk, then please rate them…
Thanks again

Short Story Excerpts page
I’ve updated the page(s) above.
There are now going to be short excerpts from stories i’m working on at the minute and I’m in the process of doing this now. I might also include bits from ones that have been uploaded to amazon as well.

Chapter 11 nearly done now and then i think one more after that and maybe an epilogue to finish and the story will be done.
Just need to give it a full read to see if it flows well and isnt too boring in places and then i’ll upload it to Short Fiction and see what people think.
