Huge Being Observed in Wayne County, NY

I recently found the following account:

This happened a few years ago at my parents house, in a small town in Wayne County, NY. Anyone that knows the area, knows some parts are very rural. Well my parents live right in town, not far from the center of it, but in a weird spot. The town only has maybe 500 people in the town limits and it's surrounded by farmland and forests.

They live right near the railroad tracks and canal and their backyard is pitch black at night because the street lights don't reach back there. The yard backs up to a walking trail and woods, it's actually pretty creepy back there after dark even though it's a 2 blocks from downtown.

The night this story takes place, it was extremely dark. I think it was a new moon or a moonless night, and it was overcast to boot. Late summer or early fall so it was pretty dry, no mud to capture any footprints.

My parents, brother and I were talking in the living room at the front of the house, the part of the house facing town and light. The house is kind of long and skinny, maybe 30 or 40 feet wide, but probably 120-150+ feet long.

As we're talking, the family dog sat up, looked around and started to growl really low. He was a yellow lab, about 90 lbs, half deaf and blind from diabetes. Overall he was a really chill dog. He'd never bark at other dogs and very rarely bark at people. That's what made this so odd. His cackles went up and he started barking towards the back of the house.

There are at least 2 closed doors before you even get to the room where the back door is. The dog is now like full on berserk, barking at the closed door in the hallway. We opened it and followed him to see why he was going nuts. We get to the door to the back room and are now worried someone had broken in but when we opened it, Marley shot straight to the back door. Jumping and barking and snarling. Making sounds I've never heard this big baby of a dog make.

I open the back door and he tried to bolt out. He was going to attack whoever or whatever was out there. Me and my parents step out on the back porch and close Marley inside. He still sounds almost f*cking rabid. We wait a second for our eyes to adjust, because the back yard is pitch black.

We see a silhouette maybe 40 or 50 feet away, standing at the edge of the yard right near the railroad tracks access road. Now, to say this thing was big is an understatement. It was way over 6 feet tall, probably closer to 7 and a half or 8 and extremely broad. I'd think it was a potential burglar that we caught sneaking up to the house if it wasn't so f*cking massive.

My parents to this day swear it was a black bear. Officially, according to the DEC, black bears don't live anywhere near this area and haven't for a long time. Also, the size of it would have been a record sized bear.

Also the reaction of my dog going nuts doesn't seem like what a bear would do. After we had put Marley inside it just stood there, upright, for about 2 minutes before we decided it was best to go inside as the hairs on the back of our necks were standing up.

The reason it freaked me out, was even at the distance it was at, you could hear it breath. Deep, raspy breaths. It sounded like it was breathing right next to my ear. They were slow and steady, not like someone who was out of breath. It wasn't like they were trying to make their breath sound loud, it just was.

I immediately went to find a flashlight, but when. I got back outside, whatever it was, was gone.

No tracks, no fur, just a huge silhouette that was too big to be a person, but acted unlike any wild animal I've ever encountered. OD

The spot with the cars was where we saw it, back where the weeds start. If you go a couple of miles in either direction on the railroad tracks, you get to woods. I've heard the theory that Bigfoot uses powerline trails as a highway of sorts. I'm thinking in this area they may use the railroad tracks as a way to move between towns without being seen. At night it's dark and there is rarely anyone on/around them.

At the time I believe it was a lot more overgrown. I think Google Earth got pictures of it in the spring before everything grows in.

Winged Humanoid Encountered in Gary, Indiana

Over the past few days, I've received a couple of reports regarding winged humanoids / Mothman:

Hi. My husband and I live in Gary, Indiana. He came home freaking out tonight (Saturday, January 19th) saying he saw something that had to of been 4-5 feet tall with large wings that were similar to bat wings. He said it was a grayish color and it flew in front of his truck just inches of it getting hit, He said it flew up in the trees and disappeared. It was on Chase St.

I don't know if it's the same thing people have been reporting in he area, but it can't be the Mothman...can it? I'm not sure but whatever it is, he's scared him to death. ES

NOTE: the email was dated Saturday, January 19th at 11:11PM local time. I have attempted to talk to the witness, but he is far too shaken and fearful this being will re-engage with him. Hopefully, the witness will eventually open up. Lon

I figured I’d tell you about my experiences with the Mothman. When I was about two years old, I lived just outside of Pittsburgh in Leechburg, Pa. Within a short period of time I saw the red-eyed, winged dark creature, twice.

First, he was looking at me from the top corner of my bedroom. Second time, he was looking from the foot of my bed, but not looking at me, he was staring at my window. My parents had just bought a new bathtub, and leaned it against the house right by my window.

Later that week a massive tornado ran its course through the area I lived. It ripped the auditorium ceiling of the high school completely off. Just a short walk from my home. And the bathtub was thrown far from our home.

When I was about 34, or so, a friend of mine wanted to show me the cemetery where ‘Night of the Living Dead’ was filmed, near Blairsville, Pa. As we walked past the gates around dusk, I saw what I thought was an angel statue with ruby eyes. As I walked closer the eyes glowed, not glimmered. So I continued to walk closer, wondering if it was the same thing I saw as a child. About 15 feet away now, I turned and asked my friend if he could see it, but when I looked back, it was a ten-foot tall obelisk, like the Washington monument. The head, eyes, body, and wings were gone, just that obelisk with four flat sides and a pyramid meeting the sides on top.

Not long after that there were three tornadoes, massive flooding, and a murder in the little town of Blairsville.

I’m no medium, but I can smell, feel, and occasionally hear the dead. Perhaps my sensitivities is the reason I was able to see him, or he presented himself to me. I believe he should not be feared, but be fearful of what his warnings are of.

And I also must say, when the movie (Mothman Prophecies) about him came out, I knew that was what I had seen as a toddler, not knowing he would come to me again. MK

Extraterrestrial Presence in Toronto

Toronto, Ontario, Canada - 2018-11-14: I woke abruptly and found a triangular shape left on my hand. I was sleeping in a deep sleep. I woke up. My arm was stretched out and I found this marking on my hand. I have done some research and it all points to alien abduction and or some kind of intervention or interaction. I was asleep and do not remember seeing any extraterrestrial. However, I have seen many in the beaches area of toronto and had one come into my apartment about two years ago. Grey skin. Tall, and semi cloaked. All I could see were the ankles. The electric heaters started to act funky and blink off and on. Then I was injected and fought to stay awake. I fought to stay awake and I never saw anything after. I do not know how long it stayed in my apartment because it was quiet and cloaked somehow.

I also saw a hovering object with two Toronto police officers above the water treatment plant in the beaches Toronto. The craft looked older and beat up with dents in it. All three of us had a majestic, calm feeling wash over us. We all turned around at the same time to converse and when we turned around it was gone. I regret not taking a picture. This was like at 6am. I have also found ginormous footsteps in the beaches on the sand which I have photos of after one night and encountering another extraterrestrial. The footstep was large. I was being chased the night before. I ran up the stairs on Munro Park to get to my apartment. And then I heard a large rock over 40cm in length being thrown my way. I knew the being was over 7 ft and extremely strong. I was there that night to watch the meteor shower. My friends left and stayed behind. When I stayed behind, it was trying to talk to me from the bushes it was hiding behind. Then I took off and ran. It was only me, the lake and some houses. So I decided to sprint and high tail it. I have also seen conehead shaped aliens as well at night in the beaches. - MUFON

Something in the Window

“I was born in 1976. I have a vivid memory from my childhood (I believe it was when I was 3 or 4 years old) of sitting in the living room of our 2nd floor apartment one night, watching The Muppet Show, while my parents were in the kitchen getting dinner ready. It was a very large older style house, located in Stockbridge, Michigan, that was owned at the time by my grandparents. The upper floor had been divided into several apartments. For some strange reason, while I was watching The Muppets, I felt compelled to look towards the window. Pressed against the glass were two hands, but they did not look human. The fingers were very long and skinny and came to points instead of being rounded at the tips, and the skin was a very pale shade of grayish white. I was so terrified, I couldn't even speak. I just sat there, staring towards the window, when suddenly, the hands slid down the glass and disappeared from sight. I never told anyone about it until years later, and no one really believed me. To this day, I have no real idea what it was I saw that night, and it makes my blood run cold to think what could have happened if I had actually gone to the window instead of being frozen in place with fear. - lonewolf9390

Unknown 'Beings' in the Peruvian Jungle

I recently came across the following account:

Ok. A little back story, I am a reptile enthusiast and until recently I bred, sold, and collected large pythons. In 2015 I saw a Facebook advertisement for a reptile expedition led by some of the world's top herpetologists (reptile experts) for a week in the middle of the Amazon jungle. That was a dream come true for me, to go into the jungle with experts and catch just about everything we could find. I even caught me a Cayman (alligator relative). Basically the first time I went in 2015 I had the absolute time of my life, made friends with some of my best friends to this day, and had no reason not to go back.

The trip happened again in 2016, but I missed that expedition. My FOMO (fear of missing out) made me promise myself that I wouldn't miss the trip the following year. So 2017 comes along and I see the advertisement for the trip and BOOM my credit card comes out and I am BOOKED BABY!

The trip was in October and I couldn't be more excited. The trip started and returned to a city in Peru called Iquitos, a very small town with no road entrance to the city from the jungle, only by boats or planes, and cars of any kind are considered luxury, as everyone drives motor scooters. My plan was to leave Friday, arrive and relax Saturday in Iquitos, and disembark Sunday with the group into the Amazon. Well, my flight gets cancelled due to hurricane Irma and now I am re-booked on a flight that will get me there Sunday, just in time to land and get to the loading dock. Then THAT flight gets delayed to the point that I will not get there in time to disembark with the rest of the group.

The way the trip worked is that there were 4 lodges (the first year, only went to 3 the second year because a bunch of school kids were occupying one of them). So this time were going to spend 1 night at the first place, 2 nights at the second, and 2 nights at the last lodge. So since my flight is delayed I now have to spend the first night of the expedition in the town of Iquitos at a hotel and catch up with the group at the 2nd location.

So I arrive Sunday, sleep the night and the next morning go on a 2 hour riverboat to meet up with the group. I arrive and say hello to my friend leading the expedition and get acquainted with everybody, check into my "room" it was not meant to be any type of living quarters that you would want to spend your time in, as the main purpose for it was to sleep, and spend the rest of the day out enjoying the wilderness of the amazon. The rooms were all the same, maybe an 8x8 foot square with a bed and a dresser. No ceilings (instead there was one big canopy that covered ALL the rooms) and the back wall near the head of the bed, was actually only a half wall, with a curtain to cover the rest of the way up. And the doors only had a latch lock that you would lock from the inside if you were inside, and from the outside if you were outside...but anyone could go in if it wasn't locked from the inside. I guess we were all just suppose to be trusting of the group we were with.

The way the lodge was laid out is that there was essentially one walkway that was elevated maybe 10-12 feet off the ground and went straight by every room. There was a main room in the middle for everybody to eat and meet up before our nature walks, so there were I think 12 or 13 rooms on each side of the big room, with stairs that came up from the jungle right at the entrance to the that room, or if you turned right instead of left, it was the walkway that went by the 12 or 13 rooms on that side.

We mostly lounged and talked during the day or could go off and do our own exploring, with most of our group activity being done at night. Around maybe 9 or 10 at night we all met up and split into two groups to go on seperate paths and search for any kind of critters we could find. Since it was most of their first night in the jungle the night before, they were so excited to be there that they stayed out till 5am searching the jungle, then had to catch the riverboat to the next lodge at 10am, they were pretty tired the second night. We ended up calling it quits the second night around maybe 2-2:30am. A few people went to the common area to have a drink or two before getting to bed, but it was pretty much the end of the night not long after that everyone was in bed.

HERE IS WHERE SH*T STARTS TO GET STRANGE...

Now I don't know if this has anything to do with what was about to follow, but the first strange thing that happened, is that as I was settling into bed, there was a persistent knock on my door and the person was calling me by my nickname...which is strange because nobody really knew me by that name, not even my friend leading the trip. But being that it was late and I didn't really want to get out of bed, I ignored it, pretending I was sleeping, and it went away,

So I am in bed, and I realize that the curtain behind me on the half wall has a slight crack in it and that the sun might shine right on my face in the morning, so I get up to close it. When I get to the curtain, instead of closing it, I decide to just get a good reality check of where I am, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AMAZON JUNGLE. So I open the curtain. Now until this point I have had nothing but positive experiences and vibes here, but as I was looking out into the jungle, I can only explain it as a sensation that someone was telepathically telling me (or maybe it was intuition) "SHUT THE F*CK UP, CLOSE THE CURTAIN, AND GET IN BED".. I didn't know where those feelings came from, but I did exactly that.

Within 5 minutes of getting back in bed, all of a sudden I hear a mechanical beep or boop from nearby. 3 boops, with an echo... "beep(beep) beep(beep) beep(beep)." I wasn't sure at first if it was mechanical or some animal in the jungle making its call. Well, right after the beep, AT LEAST 3 beings were made present on the lodge grounds. They were grunting. At first I thought it was a REALLY big animal, but then I realize that these 3 beings are communicating with each other, and these aren't just normal grunting pigs, these are INTELLIGENT grunts. They are giving and receiving commands. Then, one of them acknowledges with a reptilian sounding HISS!!!!! At this point I am at full attention, thinking that there is NO WAY anyone would be able to sleep through this, and that at least some of the other 20 people in the group are hearing this as well. At this point the jungle is SILENT except for their communication and movement, which is a VERY EERIE feeling.

I don't really have a very good reference of time, but after a maybe 30-45 minutes of them walking the perimeter. I don't really know how to explain the sound it made... kinda like a computer R2D2 type sound, but I hear that sound, and it goes RIGHT OVER MY ROOM, all the way to the 1st room along the walkway (I was in the 12th room and there was only one more next to mine). So this thing goes over room 1, and I see that it shined a light straight down into the room, like it was signaling that room. As soon as it signals that room, the WHOLE structure shook as this creature came up the stairs from the ground to the walkway, then, the most frightening thing happens. I hear it JUMP OVER THE WALL INTO ROOM 1!!!

NOW I am FREAKED OUT. I start thinking in my head how this is all going to turn out... imagining the channel 4 news report of a group of expeditioners going missing in the Amazon.

I don't really know how much time passed.. maybe 10? 20? minutes. Then the sound and the orb signal over room 2 and I hear the same thing as before; the thing jumps into room 2!!!

Quick side note: I have always been a lot more, lets say curious/adventurous, than my mother. In her mind, she sometimes chalks up to stupidity. Do her biggest fear is basically that I go into the jungle, do something stupid, and get myself killed.

So at this point I get out my notepad as quietly as I can and I write her a letter saying that something is outside of the rooms, but I am going to stay inside and not go check things out for HER sake, and that if I end up going missing, it's because they came and took me, and not because i tried to be brave and ended up doing something stupid.

Anyways, same amount of time goes by, maybe 10-20 minutes, and AGAIN, orb sound, light signal, thing jumps to next room. This sequence happens maybe 4 or 5 times, then as it seems it's going to happen again in room number 6, this time the thing jumps in the room and i don't know what caused it. But this thing SHRIEKED like a freakin alien hiss or roar or whatever the f*ck it was. I can only imagine it was looking as scary as it sounded while doing so. I am sitting in my room in complete darkness, complete silence, with no defense, scared absolutely SH*TLESS! It's coming down the pathway, its gonna eventually get to me....right?

It continues down the walkway and it's at the room DIRECTLY NEXT TO MINE. I hear the process as usual, it jumps the wall, but when it gets in, and I'm assuming it's about to start doing whatever it is doing to the humans in the rooms, my neighbor in her sleep lets out a quick moan "uhh". Then, almost as if she were made to feel comfortable or something she sighs "oooh"...and that's all I heard.

Now I am the next room! What do I do!? I had crawled to the middle of the room in an attempt to find a weapon, or camera to get proof or something, but I was helpless against whatever this thing was. I basically expected that I was next and waited for my fate. Now U assume some of you are wondering "why didn't he scream?" Well, like I felt at the beginning when something told me to shut up and get in bed, I could feel that it would be a bad idea to scream and make my presence and non-cooperation known, so I stayed silent.

The orb went over my room, but did not signal. It must have seen that I was not asleep and moved past me to the next room. I actually don't recall if it went into the room on the other side of me or not...but around this time, the guy that prepared breakfast and stuff for the lodge, turned on the generators so he could make breakfast. Right when he does this, I hear the same beeps as I did at the beginning of the experience, and all the beings are GONE. Everyone starts to wake up at the same exact time.

Now I'm wondering...when I go outside, are some of the people in the group going to be missing? Dead? Zombified??

I step outside and go into the group room and most of the group is already in there, COMPLETELY F*CKING NORMAL. Nobody else even realized anything had happened. So I can't just start screaming "WHAT THE F*CK JUST HAPPENED?" They would all think I was MAD! So I started questioning everyone one at a time..."Hey so, how did you sleep last night? Did you hear anything?" EVERY SINGLE PERSON SAID THEY SLEPT THE WHOLE NIGHT THROUGH!!! Out of 20 people, not one person got up to drink water. Not one person got up to go to the bathroom. NOT EVEN ONE PERSON WAS SNORING! The next night I heard people doing all of those things!

The only thing I can think is that they had some sort of trance put on them to keep them asleep, and I somehow wasn't affected.

One person said they woke up in the middle of the night and felt VERY DAZED. They looked at the clock and it was 3am, but out her curtain she said it looked like broad daylight...and she agreed that something strange took place. The rest of the trip things were completely fine!

I swear this is 100% true. its the scariest thing I have ever endured. I hope you enjoyed reading. EE

We had strange interactions and sounds while camping in the Drakensberge in South Africa on holiday.

Now we had been sitting around the fire having a couple drinks and having a laugh when we started feeling like someone was watching us, this feeling just got worse, after a while we started shouting into the cliffs like a bunch of idiots making jokes just to calm ourselves, we decided to go to bed and call it a night. Whilst in the tents we could literally hear something moving on the cliff sides, but we shook it off and thought it's just a baboon or something.

Then we had small rocks and sticks thrown directly at the tent. This scared the sh*t out of us. We then started making jokes just to chill ourselves when we heard the LOUDEST scream/yell I've ever heard. It was very very loud; sounded big and aggressive. We all stopped joking went dead quiet and I could literally hear my own heartbeat.

The scream was repeated 4 times all from above, rocks had been thrown. Next morning we asked the camp manager WTF that was and he spoke about a local legend of the Aapman(Apeman), he seems to fully believe in the Aapman.

Needless to say we didn't go anywhere alone rest of the trip and at night times we got scared of everything that moved.

Didn't hear anything or witness anything for rest of the trip. But completely scared of the outdoors now - CD

The Mechanic

Somewhere in Manchester, UK. My uncle used to be a mechanic. He's working on a friend's car at home and needs a particular part as the one he's looking at is severely damaged. He takes the part to another garage, hoping to negotiate price on a replacement, and asks the only guy working if he has one. The guy smiles, takes the part from my uncle and then returns ten seconds later with the same part and one completely identical. By 'identical', I mean that my uncle described it as a duplicate of the original - damaged in the exact same places, with the same blemishes and tells. Confused, my uncle takes the parts from the mechanic and as he studies them, the mechanic bursts into hysterics. Thinking it a prank, my uncle calls bullsh*t and asks where he got the part, to which the mechanic replies that he 'made it.' My uncle left the shop with both parts, dumbfounded as to how the mechanic had produced the identical part.

Without reason, my uncle insists that this mechanic was an alien or something otherworldly, but I always thought his mind was titled towards this explanation as per his alleged saucer experience. As for a possible explanation, it makes sense that car parts would be subject to similar examples of damage, and perhaps the mechanic in question noticed my uncle's part looked uncannily similar to his own and saw room for a prank of sorts. Certainly explains the laughter. I'll have to apologise for the sparsity of detail in this one; I regret that I don't know the name or details of the part but could find out fairly easily if anybody gives a sh*t. Always thought of this story at its best to be weird and at its worst to be casually explainable. - NG

Phantom Dog

An anonymous caller described what he saw when he was a child:

“I'm 28 years old and when I was about 4 or 5 years old, I was asleep one night. I was sleeping on the bed with my mom because my dad had been out of town, so I was sleeping in the bed with her. I had got up to use the restroom and the room was a little room, and it had a restroom and the bed was about six feet away from the bed. And I got up to use the restroom. I used the restroom, walked back to the bed but I forgot to turn off the light so when I turned around... I turned around to go turn off the light and I seen a dog and it was walking... and it was walking towards me. And, at the time, I didn't have a sister. It was just me and two older brothers and my mom. And I didn't know why we had a dog in the house. I guess my mom was scared of them. I don't know. Anyway, I seen the dog walking towards me. I'll never forget it and I just turned around and I jumped into the bed and I tried waking my mom up. I shook her and she finally woke up. She's like, 'What's wrong?' I couldn't even talk. I was saying, 'There's a dog!' But the words wouldn't come out. And my mom looked and she said, 'There's nothing there.' And I know I wasn't dreaming either. I know what I seen. It was crazy. I ain't seen the dog ever since. That's my story.”

More 'Glimmer Man' Accounts

My personal sighting was when I was staying at a friend's house for the weekend. They live in a nice mountainside neighborhood outside of the capital city of Honduras. After a nice breakfast and a good amount of coffee, I went back to the guest room to wait while my friends got ready for the day. I was in bed playing with the dog and had the door open looking out to the living room. I was sitting up on bed when I saw 'Glimmer Man' run through the living room and out the balcony. It ran at a jogging pace so the whole thing lasted less than 2 seconds. The best way to describe it is to say I saw a humanoid shaped mirage running out of the house. The outline of the mirage was stable, it wasn't flapping around, like real mirages do. After I saw it I froze but not in fear. Just curious. I started playing with my eyes to eliminate any chance of an optical illusion, but I couldn't reproduce it.

The interesting part is that the family I was visiting are long-time experiencers of all things paranormal. The mother and the son are both alien abductees. She has been informed by her doctor that she has signs of 5 pregnancies she can't account for. They always see lights in the middle of the night. Both of them frequently wake up with bruises. And from that, they have all types of other experiences including a visit from 'Hat Man' and even a winged humanoid that fit the description of 'Mothman', red glowing eyes and all. Other people who have stayed overnight also see shadow people and the boy's girlfriend saw Glimmer Man running towards her. They have learned to live with it.

The son recently sent me an audio. A friend of his was being harassed by window tapping and other sounds. She also kept getting phone calls with weird sounds. She was able to record on of the phone calls. He tells me that he recognizes the sound recorded as something he heard in one of his alleged abductions.

All this stuff seems to be related. I am working on a hypothesis. I hope to write it up and send it over once I flesh it out.

I hope you find it interesting that all this stuff seems to be all around the world. If you use, just refer to me as Bob, and feel free to mention the fact that all this happened in Honduras.

My name is Justin, and I have what has been recently coined as a Glimmer Man sighting. I've thought about this many times since it happened.

I grew up in the eighties and early nineties listening to my mother's ghost and UFO sighting stories, but I never took much stock in them. So when I had the experience that I had, I didn't tell anyone, because I have never heard of another person seeing something like what I had.

It was 2001 in mid-August, which I remember because my birthday had just passed a week or so before this happened. I was living with my Mother in her home in the Short North in Columbus Ohio. I was watching TV in the living room around 10pm. The overstuft chair I was sitting in faced the dining room and the TV was to my left where the window was. I was alone in the house, as my mother was probably at work. She was the manager at her job and normally closed the store. I had just started to think that it was off that my mother's dogs weren't in the room with me. They followed me everywhere until my mother got home. I began to feel alarmed? Like something was off. I couldn't put my finger on it at the time. The feeling intensified over the next few minutes.

At some point, I felt like I wasn't alone. I glanced over at the door leading to the dining room, and I saw it, and I was struck with fear. Standing right inside the doorway was what I can only describe as a Predator. Except it was human in shape and size. It couldn't have been any taller than me, and I'm only 5'7". It didn't move. It stood fixed in that position for several seconds. Then it lunged forward and crossed the room very quickly. All I could do was close my eyes and cover my face. And I felt air brush my hands and arms like something had moved quickly towards me. After what felt like several minutes, I managed to convince myself to lower my arms and open my eyes. I was alone in the room. Whatever was there was not anywhere to be seen.

I sat for a few more minutes trying to calm down. Then I proceeded to the game room which was toward the front of the house. My mother had a billiard table, dart board, golf clubs, and a few baseball bats in there. I picked up a baseball bat and made my way through the house room by room looking for whatever it was that I saw. The only thing that I found was my mother's dogs, hiding under the computer desk upstairs in her office.

Pterosaur Observed Near Mobile, Alabama

I recently received the following account:

What I saw that day changed by life and I have never made an official report until today. Around midday spring of 2001, I left my home to attend college classes. We lived down a single lane dirt road in the outskirts of Mobile, Alabama near a large water reservoir called Big Creek Lake. I had the windows of my car down as it was a beautiful day. The radio was off and because of the dirt road, I was driving slowly. I heard a strange noise overhead coming towards me and it piqued my curiosity enough to stop my car and try to see what it was. We lived near a coast guard base so helicopters and other small planes were not unusual to see. But when I heard the noise again, I realized it was unlike anything I had ever heard.

As I leaned my head out the open window, a shadow covered my car and the entire road. Above was the underside of a dark grey leathery animal whose sleek, muscular body carried two enormous bony wings. As it soared over me at a very low height just above the tree line, the body came to a point. I am unsure if there was a tail or just legs arranged in a linear fashion. In an instant, the shadow was gone. All sight of the animal was lost due to surrounding trees. But I heard the noise again. That is when I realized what it was. The sound of air being moved by those gigantic wings. I heard the wings flap a couple more times in what seemed like an impossible wait time between. Then, nothing. I sat in disbelief. My life has never the same. I believe that anything is possible in this weird world. I know what I saw. I will never forget. These things are real. MB

Bizarre Levitating Entity in a Hungarian Forest

I recently came across the following account:

This is a story that I heard from my father and we have no explanation what he saw. I would appreciate any guess to help us identify this being.

FOR SOME CONTEXT

So my father has spent most of his life in the forest. According to my grandmother, it was kind of normal that my father went "missing" for 2-3 days in their local forest at the age of 6. He spent these days with walking around, enjoying the nature. After my grandmother realized they can't really stop him it has become a regular thing. This love of nature has stayed with my father for his whole life. He still goes out hunting and camping regularly. I'm telling this to give you some context. He has spent his whole life in the nature, he knows every sound and recognizes every animal at a glance.

He told me this story for the first time 10 years ago. As a sceptic, I did not paid much attention to it as I believed it to be a story he came up with to entertain/scare us. I started to take it seriously because time to time he retold this and every detail stayed the same and he was visibly nervous during his "tale". He is not easily scared, so I feel like I can trust him with this and I can believe his story.

THE ENCOUNTER

So one time he spent the night in the forest with his dog. (A Dachshund trained for hunting) He was walking down a road separating two parts of the forest. He then realized that his dog who walked in front of him has stopped walking and ran back to my father and sat down behind his legs. Then my father saw that someone is coming from the forest. He believed it was someone on the back of a horse because he only saw the reflections of an eye but they were too high up to be a walking person. Then he realized the eyes are way bigger than that of a normal human. He said they were the size of tennis balls and they were also really far away from each other. He noticed that the creature was looking around because the reflections disappeared and reappeared as if it was turning its head. When the creature saw my father or at least acknowledged his presence he fixed its eyes on him and came out from the trees. According to dad, it was levitating. It was at least 50 centimeters (~20 in) off the ground. It made no sound and was skinny, but was wearing some type of robe/clothing so there was "nothing else to see" beside his eyes that appeared to be a mix of red, brown and grey. (But since the only light was coming from the moon and stars he not so sure about the colors) He compared it to a Dementor from Harry Potter.

The creature did not confront my father...it simply levitated across the path and disappeared in the woods on the other side. This is weirder than it seems, since that side of the forest is just a narrow, 3-4 meters (~150 in) wide region of trees. After the trees there is a concrete fence to separate the forest from a factory.

After this encounter, my father turned back because he did not want to risk a second meeting. He spent the rest of the night in a different area. In the morning he went back to check for trails but the creature had not left any signs of its presence. No footprints, nothing at all.

The 'Umbrella Man'

I recently received the following account:

The story I'm about to tell you was a truly terrifying experience that has since scarred me. When I was 14 years old, (23 now) I was having a very typical day. I just got home from a long day at school and was relieved to be able to relax and play some video games. I had set my backpack in the dining room and walked through the kitchen to the computer room. At this time I was home alone with both parents working and sibling out at friends.

I sit down and begin to login when I feel a sudden chill in the air. It made my hair stand on end and so I look around suspiciously but find nothing. After a few minutes of surfing the web I get on Facebook when suddenly the computer chair I'm in is forcefully pulled back and then tilted back while I'm still in it. At the angle I was at I should have toppled over but something was holding me there in place. From the force my head whips back and I'm looking up when I see a shadow looking down at me. At that very second I screamed and then the chair fell forward. With my heart racing so fast I thought it would burst. I look back to a doorway and see something I will never forget. A tall man standing at about 6'4 maybe 6'6 staring at me. He was wearing an all white suit with a white top hat, and white umbrella. He was leaning on the umbrella like a cane in a suave kind of pose. The worst part was that no matter how hard I looked I couldn't see his face. The only feature I could see was his long blonde greasy hair and this inhuman stretched smile. It reminded me of the grin of the monster on the Disturbed album covers.

After what seems like hours he turns, unfurls the umbrella giving me one final look and walks upstairs. Immediately I called my dad and told him what happened. I know it was paranormal and not a robber because of the sinister feeling I had, which I had felt before. My dad told me to pray and said he would head straight home to check on me. After the day had passed and night arrived I was still startled. I don't remember when I fell asleep but I finally drifted off.

Around 3:00 AM I woke to a sudden freezing chill. My room was small and my door overlooked the stairs which I always left open. Standing at the top of the stairs was the same sinister being. Staring and smiling. He stood there for awhile and just watched me as if harnessing my fear. I was paralyzed by fear so I couldn't do anything. Eventually he turned and and walked down the stairs with his umbrella. I can still picture him walking and seeing the umbrella through the stair banister bobbing up and down as he went down.

He visited me three more times before we had a priest bless the house. After that I never saw him again. Still brings tears to my eyes when I think too deeply about it. I consider myself a very spiritual person because of other paranormal experiences I've had. Nothing as truly frightening as that. I've named him the 'Umbrella Man.' I would do almost anything to never see him again. People tell similar stories of a "Hat Man" that sounds a lot like this thing. I don't want anyone to ever have this experience, I know he has visited other people. -Zev

Frightening Winged Humanoid Encounter in Northern Minnesota

I recently received a telephone call from an eyewitness (DH), who encountered a winged humanoid during the summer of 2011:

DH had recently come across the Chicago area winged humanoid posts and subsequent reports I had received in 2017-18. This was the first time DH had been aware of these sightings. This is why DH contacted me directly, in order to report his experience from 2011.

DH and a companion were driving south on I-35, after leaving the Black Bear Casino and on their way back to Moose Lake, Minnesota. It was a clear moonlit night, approximately 2AM. DW was driving a sports car.

As he was driving, he observed a large winged being quickly descending from the sky about 50 yards in front of him. It literally looked like a human with wide bat-like wings, that spanned across the entire southbound lane. The being glided towards the car, as if it was going to collide with the windshield. In fact, DH's companion coiled expecting an impact. DH braced himself for a collision, but suddenly the winged being flew over the vehicle. Both occupants were extremely shaken, to the point where DH pulled over onto the shoulder.

DH stated that the being was dark brown in color, with a shiny wet-like appearance. The wings were leather-like and quite large. The body was 5-6 ft in length and thin, with a narrow head that had pointed ears. The eyes were hollow and dark. The being never flapped or moved its wings, as if it had another means of propulsion.

DH never reported the encounter and felt that no one would ever believe him. He felt comfortable relaying the encounter to me after reading about the Chicago incidents.

NOTE: DH is a well-known and respected professional in the entertainment industry. I truly believe that his report is consistent with other inquiries my associates and I have received concerning these winged humanoids. Lon
