Pterosaur Sightings Over Texas & Pennsylvania

“Seriously, I'm never the type to believe anything no matter how good it sounds unless I've experienced it firsthand. Well, during my high school years in deep south Texas in the late 80s, I was sitting outside on my grandmother's picnic table listening to her and her elderly neighbor lady friend at night talk about ghost stories there at the ranch where she lived. Right in front of her property was an old cemetery. I kept laughing at some of their stories and they'd scold me warning me to respect what they deemed to be true. It must have been around 9:00 PM that I heard a strong whiff of large wings flapping from the north heading over us southbound towards the cemetery. It was a full moon and as I looked up, I kid you not, I heard and saw a huge, dark-shaped silhouette of what looked like a pterosaur with the long ball tail fly over us about 50 to 70 feet above us. It measured around 15-20 feet from wing tip to wing tip and around 10-12 feet long from nose to tail. The wing flaps were strong like a "swoosh" every couple of seconds. I saw it fly quickly over the moonlight reflecting over its body above us and just like that it was gone as I heard its wings flap southward over the cemetery until I couldn't hear it anymore. Again, I don't believe things easily but this I saw and heard as my grandmother scolded me saying that the devil was out to get me for not respecting their true ghost stories.” blunthonest1

“I'm looking at this stuff because I saw something a couple of years ago (2016), a pterodactyl is exactly what I saw. It had the tail. I'm in Reading, Pennsylvania and at first I though I saw a Pelican but then I saw the tail and thought what the hell would a Pelican doing way up here in Pennsylvania? “In January 2018, I had an encounter with a bipedal wolf-like creature at night, near Nice (France) on the way home from work around 00h45. I told my story same night to my family and later to four friends. In January 2019, several people from the same area of my observation were awakened around 02:30 in the morning to powerful cries.

Another amazing thing, my wife, my son of 21 years and I, were awakened as well. They were 1 km away as were the neighboring houses. At the same time the Husky of the neighbor barked louder and was more excited then we have ever heard it on that night since it birth (4 years ago). It's a friend who told me the next afternoon on the phone. He was scared and was remembering my encounter a year ago. “It happened in April 2017. I live in the Paca (France) and one night I saw something really strange. It was about one o'clock in the morning, I was driving with my wife and we were going home. She was tired, so she was sleeping when it happened.

I live in a small village in the heart of the countryside and vineyards and at night, I often drive full high beams because we have a lot of game that can cross the road so I drive carefully. I arrived at the foot of the woods, and I saw two luminescent eyes on my right at the edge of the grass. I told myself right away it's a fox. So I slowed down to avoid difficulties. He decided to cross the road while I was at what, a hundred meters (I was not driving more than 60 km / h). I saw these eyes at the height of man, an indistinct and massive form. He sped away at high speed when I arrived at his spot. I pounded the gas! My wife woke up suddenly and asked what happened. I did not dare to tell her. A fox?

I do not know what it was but it gave me a blue jolt. It was the size of a bear because I saw the silhouette and it spun in the woods. It was a pretty massive animal. I saw him on the road between Villes-sur-Auzon and Mazan. where the green fences are. I never heard of testimony in the area and it was bigger than a Pyrenean shepherd style dog or even a St Bernard. As I remembered the facts, I had thought of a fox. We have wolves near Mont Ventoux but given its size, it was not a wolf. My observation only lasted a few seconds - one minute max to the time I arrived at his spot. A massive body that was straightened from the height of its size. We could have said a bear but there is none in the area. It was big, easily 2 meters high, considering the perspective of my vantage point. It was because when I started to distinguish his silhouette with the headlights, it went off at full speed in the opposite direction. I have not been to see the gendarmes, nor hunters because they would certainly have insinuated that I had too much booze.” JAL

Not a Bird...Too Big For a Bat

“I think I may have seen one in the middle of the night just south of Amarillo, Texas. I was driving down I-27 around 1:00 AM heading for Plainview when all of a sudden, something flew right across the grill of my 18 wheeler. It startled me. If it had been any closer I would've hit it. It was bluish grey in color and I got a good look at the wing. It didn't have feathers. I saw skin with bone underneath. It was too big to be a bat and with echolocation, no bat would fly in front of a truck. My best estimate is that from the leading edge to the trailing edge, the wing was a little over a foot wide. It wasn't a bird, it wasn't a bat, so I'm thinking it had to have been a pterosaur.” Mark Ward

“Before I heard about this phenomenon. This was before the internet. A co-worker of mine said he was driving on a rural road in Cleveland County, North Carolina in the mid 90's. And at 45 mph he said a black stick man came gliding next to him about 7 feet tall. He went home got his wife and they went back and saw the stick figure near a tree line. Everybody at work except me ridiculed him for telling that story. It shocked me to hear this is a real phenomena and the close similarity of all the eyewitnesses. especially the gliding part.” C Beav

Massive Birds...or Something Else?

“I have a real story. I don't know what kind of bird it was. Around 2:00 AM in Oakbrook, Illinois in September (2017). I saw a massive bird land on a parking lot light. It was so big, its wings blocked the light and it was so heavy that the light shook back and forth after it jumped off and flew away right over my head. It was so dark out, I walked right to the light to try and see what was on the light. I felt the wind from its wings. I would guess it was a golden eagle or vulture but I'm close to Chicago and it was freaking 2:00 AM. An owl's wingspan is 5 feet so that's too small. Not sure what it was. It freaked me out. I remember thinking, how did some 8 year old kid climb up on this light. This is the only unexplainable thing I have seen in my life. Wish I had video of it.” Peter Borchek

“I myself remember seeing huge birds flying high in the sky in central Illinois back in the late 70's. I can't say what they were, all I know is that they were huge and I have never seen a bird that large flying anywhere since. I saw one more than once on different occasions on different days that summer. I can remember seeing it soaring and also flapping its wings. The rumor back then was that Doctor Nord who was also a wealthy farmer and landowner had somehow managed to have a pair of California Condors shipped to central Illinois and that he either released them or they had managed to escape. Whatever it or they were, from what I remember seeing, I can believe the part of the story where the boy claims he was picked up and carried away. I was a teenager back then and pretty much fully grown so it's not like a was just a small child imaging that what I saw was not as large as it was. These days the number of even small birds have decreased dramatically, and seeing any type of large birds here in the same location is a rare sight. The escaped Condor story sounds very realistic to me, and could easily explain why so many large bird sightings were reported in central Illinois back then.” Steve Smith

'THEY' Do Exist!

“29 months ago, I did not believe in "Bigfoot", despite having owned hunting property in Perry County, Ohio (alleged home of a giant "Sasquatch" known as the "Grassman") and despite living for over 3 decades in "Bigfoot Central" in the PacNW (not 60 miles from the site of the Patterson-Gimlin film). 28 months ago, however, I saw my first "Bigfoot." I've now seen them on six occasions.

There is no question but that THEY do exist! Scoff all you want, your doubts do not affect my experiential reality. BUT, here's the thing - 48 years ago (1971), in Central Michigan, I had a rather scary, if inconclusive experience with what I suspect was (what was then called) "The Michigan Monster," an animal now more commonly known as the "Dogman." I've now come across several individuals locally, whose experiences I have every reason to credit, who claim to have run across just such a creature out here (one of whom saw it at very close range for several minutes, plenty of time to get a good look at it). Much as I do not want to believe in any such thing, given the shock to my skepticism which "Bigfoot" wrought, I don't feel like I can blithely deny that there may be OTHER things out there. There are certainly enough tales out here about them (independent of the witnesses whom I personally know) to raise the real possibility that there are some such creatures in these woods. The featured story reeks of truthfulness to me. This is almost exactly what one might well expect. Nothing about it is inconsistent with what we know or inconsistent with potential reality. There's no evidence of hype or BS in the tale.

So, whether or not I wish to believe in these things, I have determined to behave in a fashion consistent with the possibility that these things are out there. I never go out unarmed or alone and have even gotten a bigger gun. It may all be a case of mistaken identity or self-inflicted fright, but, if it is real, well, I do not wish to be at its mercy. The Abduction Scenario - (Excerpt)

Human technology has dramatically expanded in the past century. It’s difficult to believe that there has not been some degree of support offered by a higher intelligence. But at what point did this intervention begin? Were the seeds of advanced science sown during early contact, and allowed to germinate at a specific pace? Was humankind then given a green light to accelerate their technological prowess during the 20th century? How has this altered the human-alien connection?

In the past decade, there seems to be more diversity when it comes to alien contact with humans. A progression of advanced intelligence and technology by non-terrestrial beings has become more evident to experiencers. Abduction and close encounter descriptions are more complex and esoteric. Accounts of cloaking, portals, physical transformation and other extraordinary activities are becoming more apparent.

In the 1940s through the 1990s, an abduction scenario usually followed a similar process. Most times, the alien captors originated from a type of craft or UFO. After securing the human subject, they would return to the craft. The subject was rendered immobile by hypnosis or by an induction of a drug, then laid on a metallic table for examination. The alien captors would conduct a variety of tests and scans, which was usually followed by a collection of body fluids or tissue. On many occasions, these collections involved procuring sperm samples from a human male and embryos from a human female.

After the examination and testing, the human subject would be shown images of the future of life on Earth. It was always a gloom and doom sequence of events; a warning that Earth was destined for destruction by our own hand, and that changes must soon begin.

But in some cases, a glimmer of hope would be introduced to the abductee. An image of a group of humans, performing every-day tasks, would be shown. A question was then asked to the subject, in essence; “Which of these people are not human?” The subject would look closely and then respond that all the people were human. Then a reply would follow; “You now see; this is the future and it will be good for all.”

I was beginning to hear these suggestions of human-alien hybrids and integration being presented to abductees around the late 1990s. More and more female abductees were coming forward and talking about lost pregnancies after the first trimester. In other words, the female experiencer was abducted, and the fetus was removed. As well, male abductees were describing situations where they would ‘meet’ a hybrid child during their abduction, where it was obvious that this was his offspring.

The types of non-terrestrial races involved in these incidents was also evolving. Rarely were abductions only carried out by the ‘Greys’ and human-like hybrids. In recent years, we have interviewed abductees who have described upwards to 4-5 different types of beings carrying out various functions during the abduction event. What could be the reason behind these noticeable revisions in alien abductions? Are humans now being subjected to an intense ‘redesign’ by these captors, resulting in an integration of the species? Has alien artificial intelligence already become a distinct part of modern humans?

I stated in the introduction of this book that I was conscious of a single personal abduction, even though I am positive that there were other incidents. These personal incidents also include several close encounters. Alien abductions tend to be a long-term endeavor for the experiencer, resulting in multiple events over many years. As well, there is usually a history of alien contact and abductions with other generations of the family. In recent years, some researchers have claimed that a majority of experiencers did not have the Rh factor in their blood, and that most of these people had also possessed the O type. This may be true, but I believe that more research is needed before we can designate these elements as a distinction or reason to why certain individuals are chosen.

Most of the abduction scenarios I will present in this book occurred in the past 20 years. These accounts are from actual experiencers who came forward to me or my colleagues in order to ask questions and to find explanations. I don’t pretend to have all the answers or assume to satisfy each person’s expectations. I can offer my opinions and theories, and in certain cases I can provide additional help through remote viewing or my intuitive abilities. 'Rake' in the Cornfield

I was leaving my house with my friend around 2 years ago during the beginning of winter. As we were pulling out we came to see a figure in the cornfield next to my house. As we got closer we came to realize it looked human but wasn’t, it was almost a petrified pale color to it and it was small and was on all fours like Gollum from LoTR and had pale eyes that looked hollow with dark spots around them. We were both in my car and we didn’t say anything as we saw it in my headlights but as we passed it we both asked each other if, “we just f**king saw that.” I had completely forgotten about this story until recently when my friend brought it up to me. I then asked my sister about it a few days later and she said I might have seen something called the rake, so I looked it up. The thing looked just like how some of these pictures describe and I don’t think I’ll ever look at the paranormal the same ever again because of it. RF

Open Triangle UFO

“I swear I seen something in the south of France in 2008 when on vacation, and I can't forget about it. To this day, I still don’t know what it was. At night around 10:00 PM, my mother, her boyfriend, my sister, and me, saw this group of 7 yellow lights in an 'open triangle' formation, like: > Up in the sky, no sounds. It looked like it was very high, but since it was dark outside, it was hard to judge. As far as we noticed, they suddenly appeared, were moving at a pretty fast speed in a straight line, for about 20 to 60 seconds and also suddenly disappeared. This happened at least two nights during our vacation. I also remember me trying to record it with the camera on my phone, but the camera was too bad to see any of the lights we saw. Hearing stories about 'balls of light' in the sky always instantly makes me relive this memory. We were all certain this could not be a normal airplane, a jet or a balloon. Before Roswell

On August 16, 1945, 20 mile southeast of San Antonio, New Mexico, Reme Baca and Jose Padilla literally stumbled across the remains of what they believe to have been an alien spacecraft. Their personal account of the case displays many of the key ingredients of crashed UFO lore:

In August of 1945 Jose Padilla and Reme Baca said they were sent out on horseback from the Padilla Ranch in San Antonio, New Mexico tasked to check on Jose’s father’s herd of new cows.

What they were sent to do and what they claimed to have experienced was nothing short of what actually occurred to them that frightening afternoon.

With their horses tethered as they hid behind a rock in the distant reaches of the New Mexico desert – Jose 9 and Reme 7 years of age at the time – were awe-struck by the sound of thunder and the grinding thud of something strange that came to earth on the Padilla Ranch in San Antonio, New Mexico.

With trepidation tendered by child-like watchfulness they approached the crash site to within 200 yards to witness a craft stuck in rock and sand; its charred 30 foot hull shrouded in dust and burned ash had skidded to rest at the end of a wide plough-like furrow the length of a football field.

Using binoculars they saw strewn wreckage, strange creatures and military activity that would haunt them for days to come and – for the rest of their lives.

All of this occurring two full years before the archetype of all UFO crashes on the Foster Ranch outside the small town of Corona, New Mexico a mere 67 miles from Roswell.

These astonishing claims, made by Jose Padilla and Reme Baca, have been researched and recorded by Denver author/researcher Paola Harris who – in conversation with ZlandCommunications – detailed how these two young Hispanic children: saw at least three creatures in the unusual oval shaped craft, had, some days later, climbed into the craft itself to retrieve pieces of the wreckage after guards had vacated the area and, how they were told by State Police to be quiet about what they had seen. - exopoliticsinstitute.org

Debris claimed to be from the crash site
Two little Hispanic children experienced an extraordinary event occurred in August of 1945.

Jose Padilla, age 9 and Reme Baca, age 7 witnessed a saucer crash on Padilla land in the town San Antonio, New Mexico. They were witness to one of the most spectacular events in UFO history.

The book entitled Born on the Edge of Ground Zero: Living in the Shadow of Area 51 describes Jose Padilla’s and Reme Baca’s detailed account of what happened in their childhood. They explain what they saw the actual crash, the creature’s appearances, the pieces they took, the military clean up and an in-depth analysis of the significance of this case.

First printed in The Mountain Mail, Soccorro, New Mexico on November 2, 2003 by journalist Ben Moffet, the case was passed to me, journalist/researcher, Paola Harris in May 4, 2009. The desire to finally disclose the details and the kind invitation of Reme Baca, led me to fly to Gig Harbor in Washington State in the Northern part of the United States to interview witness Reme Baca and his wife, Virginia in July 2010. Consequently because he now lives in California, I interviewed Jose Padilla by telephone from the Baca house. During my two day stay, I was able to see and photograph the piece that Jose extracted from the craft and study the detailed analysis of its composition done in Europe.

It is one of the most astounding cases I have ever covered in my career and it helps complete the puzzle of why there has been so many crash retrievals in New Mexico. As journalist Ben Moffet who so beautifully describes the cover-up, we can begin to see where it fits in UfO history:

It was in this crucible of suspicion and disinterest bred by familiarity that a small contingent of the U.S. Army passed almost unnoticed through San Antonio in mid-to-late August, 1945 on a secret assignment.

Little or nothing has been printed about the mission, shrouded in the "hush-hush" atmosphere of the time. But the military detail apparently came from White Sands Proving Grounds to the east where the bomb was exploded. It was a recovery operation destined for the mesquite and greasewood desert west of Old US-85, at what is now Milepost 139, the San Antonio exit of Interstate 25.

Over the course of several days, soldiers in Army fatigues loaded the shattered remains of a flying apparatus onto a huge flatbed truck and hauled it away. That such an operation took place between about Aug. 20 and Aug. 25, 1945, there is no doubt, insist two former San Antonioans, Remigio Baca and Jose Padilla, eyewitnesses to the event.

Padilla, then age 9, and Baca, 7, secretly watched much of the soldiers' recovery work from a nearby ridge.

Forest Firefighter Describes Encounters of High Strangeness

“I was firefighting in Mt. Hood in 2017, our base camp was in the middle of the woods. We had showers, kitchen staff, and access to portable restrooms with at least 500 personnel. We were fighting fire near a lake and park service that we needed to stay away from. Law enforcement was everywhere. I even saw black undercover vehicles. I wasn’t the only one and we were sure we weren’t the only fire crew out there. Weird thing was there were no insects, animals, no flies, I mean nothing but vegetation and trees. Our crew boss had told us they he had seen surveillance cameras hidden in trees and that there was something really strange going on and he was referring to government. I was a replacement for one of the guys so I was on my 5th day or so out there. It was also my 3rd year fighting fire.

That night at camp I had finished talking to my girlfriend and walked to my sleeping bag, jumped in and was trying to sleep. I was rolling around for about an hour. Then I seen a white light outside of camp turning on and off. Take note the whole camp was shutdown during sleeping hours. After that though I saw a black figure racing around camp almost like a person but it wasn't human. Then a big buff human, like bull had raised out of the ground in the middle of our camp. I sh*t you not, I could not believe what I was seeing. Everything that happened I kept to myself until our tour was over. All this happened in Oregon, but even in the Warm Springs reservation has some unspoken things that happened. I've seen things out while fighting fire during the night. I'm not saying its UFOs or government but its happening especially around the Cascades Forest and Crater Lake National Park. I was on GH Ranch fire crew from Klamath Falls, Oregon. We are trained to pay attention, have a buddy system for everything, have a radio on both ends of crew, and never walk off alone in the woods. We are not allowed to touch bones of any kind. I've always seen things since I was 11 years old, but let me tell you, its not normal and the BLM, National Park Service, ODF, and US Department of Forestry are keeping it from being disclosed. Oily Black Humanoid Running Along San Antonio Highway

I recently found the following account:

This just happened about an hour and a half ago (5/11/19) on my way home from work. I live in central Texas. San Antonio to be exact. This whole incident happened in the span of maybe 30-45 seconds. Maybe a minute, but it felt pretty quick and surreal.

I was driving on a short stretch of elevated highway. Wurzbach Parkway, if you know the city. Traveling northbound between 281 cutting over to 35. I was passing the airport, just past Thousand Oaks, where he highway straightens out for a few miles until it slopes to ground level. It was raining and there are not many streetlights on this part of the highway. I was traveling ~60/65 mph. My car is little sedan so I had a low view of the road. I was the only one on the highway in either direction, aside from a pair of headlights several miles behind me.

In the distance ahead (maybe a half mile or so), I saw what looked like a man (human outline) running or jogging on the right hand shoulder of the road. Aside from it being nearly 1 AM and on an elevated stretch of road, I didn’t think it too odd. There’s lots of drunks in my city and stranger things have happened. Nonetheless, I moved from the right lane to the left, just in case.

As I approached I became aware that this silhouette was not getting taller, as you would expect as your perception shifts. Instead it stayed the same height. I estimate maybe 3 or 4 feet tall, based on the fact it’s head came to about the same height as the hood of my car. I slowed down to about 50-55 mph and stared at the back of this thing. Trying to make out details through my rain-soaked windshield.

As soon as I got close enough for this thing to be fully in my headlights, it dropped down to all fours, as if it was trying to mimic an animal. I know this was not any animal I’ve seen. It’s size was that of a medium-sized coyote, but it was running distinctly like a person attempting to run like an animal. It’s hindquarters were raised up in the air and I could clearly make out buttocks. And it’s legs kicked out sideways. If you’ve ever seen documentaries about feral children, it’ll give you an idea of the gait that I am attempting to describe. The only thing is that no human I’ve seen could run on all fours at the speed this thing was going.

The creature was entirely naked and oily black and smooth. The rain glistened off it’s skin with a shine like wet black marble or obsidian. I could make out muscle tone and everything as this thing clipped along. As it dropped to two legs, it lost some speed, either intentionally or just from the change in gait. It was running about the same pace as a person could sprint.

I passed this thing and it looks over it’s left shoulder towards me. It’s face was flat, with a flat wide nose. It had big eyes, I could see the whites and dilated dark pupils. There was no eyeshine, which I think is unusual, just those eyes against the black of its skin. Though it never looked directly in my headlight beams, so that may be inconsequential. It opened its mouth at one point as it was looking at me as it passed. It’s teeth were flat and white like a human’s but with larger and prominent canines. It had hands and feet like a person. I couldn’t make out any genitalia, but it was distinctly male in its general appearance. It had would could best be described as a swimmer’s build. It’s body was proportionate to that of any other human, just scaled down. No crazy long limbs or anything like that.

I did fumble with my phone with the intent to try and take a photo. But to be honest, I was so enamored and excited and trying to take in as much detail as possible while driving on a dark rainy road. I also didn’t think a photo would show much because dark, rain and the glass of my car windows. But now I’m seriously thinking of getting a dash cam. I hope that the car a ways behind me saw this thing, it was pretty obvious.

I hope I’ve provided enough detail for an accurate report. I have no idea what I just saw. But I’m glad i saw it. It didn’t seem malicious. It looked scared, like it was not happy to be up there and just wanted to get down of the highway. I got the very distinct impression that the only reason it dropped to all fours was in an attempt to mimic an animal and draw less attention to itself. He didn’t have far to go till the exit, but there’s a well lit gas station and intersection there.

Aside from a few apartment buildings and scattered industrial areas the only other stuff along this stretch is a small amusement park and the airport. There is an old abandoned concrete plant in the area next to the highway. Again if you’re local to the area, you’d know exactly what I’m talking about. That was my first thought as to where it could’ve come from, it was heading away from this though and towards a populated area, so it doesn’t make much sense.

I’m still just floored that I saw this thing. I’m totally open to proving more details, but I believe this to be pretty concise. thelonepath

The eyewitness followed up with more information:

I couldn’t make out much detail. Just what I described. It’s height, gait, color, and the fact it had muscle tone. Aside from when it turned its head, then all I really saw was wide eyes and teeth. The whole thing happened pretty quickly. As I got close enough to pass it turned its face towards me so I couldn’t make out a profile. This thing was dark black and I honestly don’t remember being able to make out the nose or ears. I’m sure they were there though. As I said, it looked like a person, just scaled down.
