BALL OF LIGHT UFO Chases Van on Highway Near Roswell, New Mexico

A band is on tour and has a gig in Roswell, New Mexico. As they are driving their van out of the area they observe and later encounter a ball of light that chases them at high speed.

I received the following account:

"In the summer of 2019, my band went on a west coast tour and we had a show in Roswell, New Mexico. I was madly excited because I'd been wanting to visit Roswell since I was little and checking out the same UFO book from the school library over and over.

Anyway, we explored the city and played the show and it was a great experience. We had a long drive to Tucson, Arizona to pick up a friend from the airport, so we decided to drive overnight as it would be easiest to make it there on time.

I know it seems awfully convenient that something would happen in Roswell, and I had that in mind because it would seem too easy to make up the story but something happened about 45 minutes outside of Roswell once we started our overnight drive.

I'm riding shotgun as our drummer is driving the first shift. We are on these winding back road highways that are awesome and give us an immaculate view of the stars.

So yeah, roughly 45 minutes away from Roswell, we are coming up to this bend in the highway, and to the left of the van, we see a light. It appears to be a light on a barn as we assumed it was from someone's property in the woods, but that assumption quickly changed when the light started moving and keeping pace with the van.

This bend was going to the right, so we weren't circling a light in the woods and there wasn't an access road, so it wasn't coming from a car. This light was just steadily keeping pace with us at about 75 mph and weaving in and out of the tree line. Sometimes it would move behind the trees and then it would just dart out from the trees, still effortlessly matching our speed.

The light wasn't all that bright, or so it didn't shine a lot of light. I don't know how to explain it, but it was this bright ball of light that was about 15 feet in diameter. It seemed really bright, but it didn't really light up anything around it. Even when it got about 20 feet from the left side of the van, it was just there.

At this point, our drummer and I are yelling "WTF is that? Do you see this?" Then after about 30 seconds of following us, it stops dead in its tracks, about 10 feet off the ground, on the side of the road. No slowing down. Just as if it hit a wall and immediately was stopped in its tracks.

We just kept driving, bewildered, and looked at it in the rearview mirror until the road took it out of view.

Still, no logical explanation as we talked for hours about what it could've been.

Maybe there is one, but we couldn't figure it out.

TALL, WHITE, FACELESS HUMANOID Stalks Polk County, Iowa Farm

A family living on an Iowa farm is spied on by a tall, white humanoid with no face that lurks in the woods. The being made noises throughout the night. They are still haunted by the incident.

I received the following account:

"Hi. About a year ago, I was out back with my family. It was around 8 PM and the sun was setting. We lived in a farmhouse in the middle of nowhere, the closest neighbor was far away. We live in Polk County, Iowa. Something down the field kept catching my eye but I ignored it at first. My sister saw it too and kept looking out towards the trees. She was getting freaked out about it. My mom said to go investigate so me and my sister started to walk across the field towards the treeline. Big mistake.

It's hard for me to describe. This was the most terrifying thing that has ever happened to me. I didn't see it at first, and I didn't understand why my sister was so scared. When we were about 100 yards away, I saw this creature. Tall, probably 8 or 9 feet tall, white humanoid with an elongated head, and no face. It had long arms and peeked at us through the tree line. We stopped in our tracks. We couldn't tell what it was. It took a few steps further out of the trees and swayed back and forth at me like a praying mantis! Me and my sister ran screaming back to the house, where my mom stood, jaw dropped. She saw it too. I had never been so scared in my life. We grabbed the binoculars and watched this terrifying creature peek in and out of the tree line, spying on us. My grandma thought we all had a wild imagination.

The sun was almost gone now and it was getting dark, and the darker it got, the more it moved. Back and forth along the trees. It was terrifying, so we went in for the night and locked everything up tight. I couldn't sleep that night. I heard scratching on the roof, and at one point, a very loud bang and various noises coming from the barn. I was very afraid that I would wake up to my animals missing.

The next morning my grandma asked if we heard the loud bang outside that night. She ended up taking my grandpa with her on her morning walk.

I have no idea what it was and it haunts me to this day." M

GNOMES & CARDINALS: Spiritual Messengers?

Following the death of his mother, the witness describes his encounter with a Gnome with a Cardinal on his shoulder and another incident possibly connected with his mother watching over him.

The following account was forwarded to me:

"My mother passed about ten years ago now. She was always spiritual and claimed she had a connection with her twin sister, I believe that.

On her deathbed in the hospital, she had one of those moments of clarity and focus where despite being on a respirator and pumped full of Dilauded when the whole family was there she sat up, opened her eyes, looked around the room, and said she was always going to watch over us, told us not to worry that Grandpa (her father) was there, the dog and cat we had and her sister (she passed decades before from allergic reaction). Laid back down and coded, doctors and nurses revived her and that evening she passed in her sleep.

About four years later I was walking through a local forest preserve path, it cut through the trees on a gravel trail. I had walked this trail numerous times before, but something was off, there were no sounds, not the nearby roadway nor the stream, just quiet. I stopped to take it in, looked off to the side in the forest and I swear I saw a three-foot-tall man (Gnome), with a long grey beard with a knurled wooden staff. A bright red Cardinal was on his shoulder (my mother LOVED Cardinals). I felt a warmth come over me and just turned and walked back down the path.

That night after dinner I had a bit of back pain, took some Tylenol, and just chilled out. A few hours later I had really bad pain and I was struggling to breathe, told my wife and she drove me to the ER, checked myself in, and ended up with severe bilateral pulmonologist embolism and about 70% blockage. I spent the night in ICU being monitored and in the morning was moved to a regular room when they were confident I was stable after giving me the shot of blood thinner. They kept me another day. So I was sitting in the room and looked out the window and saw a bright red Cardinal sitting there.

Maybe it was my mind playing tricks on me or whatever but I believe someone or something was watching over me that day and I didn't know who the tiny man with the Cardinal was." U

As far as Gnomes, spiritually they are said to be deeply connected to the elements of Earth. They represent the essence of nature, often believed to communicate with plants and animals. As protectors, they are thought to ward off negative energies and create safe, sacred spaces. HORRIFIC BIGFOOT SCREAM Startles Georgia Deer Hunter!

A former Marine veteran is hunting for deer in North Georgia when he encounters a Bigfoot. The beast lets out a horrific scream that causes the hunter to urinate on himself.

“My name is Johnny B. Calhoun Jr. I'm 57 years old and a US Marine vet. I'm 6’6" / 265 lbs and not much scares me. Back when I was 17 (around 1984), hunting in the North Georgia Mountains, I had a meeting with something that was more than able to take me out.

I was bow hunting one afternoon. I had a ground blind. I was wearing a new ghillie suit. I was covered in Tink 69 and hoping for a big buck (Tink 69 is a buck attractant). The darkness was coming in and I could only see the open path of what I will call a wagon trail. It led to my Blazer maybe 300 yards from where I'd set up.

As I was headed out, I heard leaves rustling to my left, ahead of where I was headed. I had a light that my eyes had adjusted to the low light of the hardwoods. I could hear it moving towards the wagon trail and I got my light out to at least hope to see what was. There where I was hunting, there were many black beer sightings. I figured running around in a ghillie suit, smelling like a deer in the rut, and to top it all, I had a buck grunt collar on my neck and just had to give it a couple of hits.

The walking stopped about 25 yards ahead of me on my left side. When my light lit up an eye shine somewhere between 8 and 9 feet up, I knew it wasn't a bear. No tree to be in and it had started to really make me worry. When my light hit it, it casually took two steps across the 8-foot opening. I think I was frozen and I couldn't have moved if my life depended on it, and by now I was thinking it probably did. This thing crossed ahead of me and up to the right side and behind me. When it figured it was where it needed to be, it let out a scream that caused me to urinate on myself, but I think it knew where I was and it gave me that opening to get to my truck.

I had no problem making it to my truck and I fully believe it knew what I was doing. It knew where my truck was. I knew it was giving me a chance to make it to it. I managed to get out of there and also kept my mouth shut which if you knew me, you would realize I have a problem doing. After that, I started carrying my Ruger 44 mag anytime I was in the woods. This incident stopped me from hunting that spot.

Now when I go into the woods, I have my 460 Magnum with three or four speed loaders. I'm sure that wouldn't stop what I've seen, that it might just give me that extra time to quickly move away. Feel free to use my name. I'm to the point in life where you can believe me or not, I know what went down that evening. It'd be nice to know more but I'm not going to go looking for something that could make me disappear.”

GHOULISH CRAWLER HUMANOID Quickly Darting Between Cemetery Headstones

The witness and a friend are walking through a local cemetery in Rossville, Illinois when they observed a quadrupedal pale humanoid moving quickly through the headstones.

I received the following account:

"Back when I was in high school my friend and I saw something I've begun referring to as a crawler. This was in Rossville, Illinois. Nighttime and in a cemetery. I think it was probably late summer or early fall because I don't remember it being too cold out. Would have been around 2010. Pretty sure the moon was full of close to it because visibility was pretty good.

My friend and I used to walk this loop. We would leave her place and go down a block to a side road that led to a park. We would then turn left and cut across the park to the side entrance of the cemetery. The cemetery and park sat at the very southwest corner of town. Beyond that were just woods and corn fields. If we went straight across the cemetery it would take us to another side road that then led to the main street, back to where her house was.

We made it to the cemetery and were walking the main drive that split the property in half. There was a sudden noise that made us both stop. My friend started laughing nervously and asked if I had heard the noise. I told her I had seen what made the noise.

To our left, I had seen something running behind the headstones. It was on all fours, but humanoid. It had extremely pale skin and no hair and looked very thin. I remember it was so pale it almost reflected the moonlight. It moved so fast (too fast for any human I've ever seen on their hands and feet) that I couldn't see many details. It was in total profile, so I never saw the facial details. The way it ran was animal-like as well in that it had that gait where its feet came forward almost between or past its hands. Watch a video of a big cat or wild dog running to see what I mean.

We were both terrified. We just stood there panicking and listening to it moving around, just out of sight, while we called one of her friends to come meet us and take us the rest of the way home. Her friend, a very typical high school boy, arrived and naturally wanted to stay in the cemetery and goof off for a while. For some reason with him there acting dumb, it was less scary, but I remember it just kept making these wide circles around us. It always stayed out of sight, but you could hear it as it moved. Occasionally it would come a bit closer, then seemed to dart further away again.

Eventually, we left. I spent a while researching it and even reached out to a paranormal group in Champaign for advice. The guy I talked to had never heard of it but wanted to document what we saw. We met up with him and did an interview, but the group never did an investigation.

Fast forward a few years and I'm living in Aurora, Colorado. I met one of my closest friends in about 2012. We really hit it off because we were into the paranormal. When I eventually told him about what I had seen, his jaw hit the floor. He told me he had seen the same thing and told me his story.

He described exactly what I had seen, but he had seen it under a porch while living in Thornton. It was crouched down and squatting. He thinks he startled it while it was eating because he said it was hunched over something it was holding. He comes from a Navajo/Apache background, and when we first met his best guess was Skinwalker or Wendigo. But then and especially now he said he had doubts about either of those things being the answer. He was dating a girl at the time whose mom claimed to be a medium. She said she thought it was something that someone "woke up" and that now it was angry. We both have serious doubts about that one.

The stranger part came when he and I brought it up. We both started having very intense nightmares about it. His were worse than mine and lasted much longer. This was also punctuated by 6 months filled with a lot of bad luck and anxiety for us. I always sort of brushed this off as us just psyching ourselves out, until I sent my story into a podcast. After it was read, another listener sent in their story. They described what my friend and I had seen, and also described the sightings as being punctuated by nightmares. I couldn't write that off because he spoke about his nightmares in detail, and they matched my friend's nightmares exactly. I have never given out details of what actually happened in either of our nightmares.

I've read a ton of other stories by other users and people on the internet. I've dug through mounds of lore and cryptid lists. I still don't feel like I have an answer to what this thing is. My best guess at this point is that the nightmares aren't coincidental and that this is interdimensional. It seems like it can interact with physical things around it, but I've never heard anyone give a first-hand account of being physically attacked or even touched. I've speculated on what it could be for hours, and the only conclusion that I've come to is that I don't feel like there is an actual concrete answer. It doesn't act exactly like this or that cryptid. I think it might be something that's been around and inspired other cryptids and paranormal tales. But I don't think it's a wendigo, skinwalker, ghoul, etc." N

Unusual Customer Encounter Affects Store Clerk. WAS HE AN ANGEL?

A Hobby Lobby worker was helping at the register when a tall, slender, middle-aged, very pale, graying-blonde man strangely asked about a leather bracelet she was wearing.

I received the following account:

"I used to work at a Hobby Lobby in Fort Worth, Texas before I moved out. While helping at the register one afternoon, this tall, slender, middle-aged, very pale, graying-blonde man came through alone and bought a few small odds and ends. Usually people at Hobby Lobby either buy a bunch of stuff or a set of things that are pointed and have obvious use together. This guy bought 4 random things that didn't seem to match up whatsoever. I didn't remember seeing him around at all until helping up front, and my job was mostly to patrol the store to clean, help customers, loss prevention, etc.

I hadn't said a word to him because I was there to help the cashier when he asked me about the leather bracelet I was wearing. Nondescript, no markings, very simple. My best friend made it for me years before when he was getting into leather working, and I wore it most days since then, and still have it tucked away here with my things. I explained that my best friend made it for me, and he said back, "So it means love then." He smiled so kindly. I can seldom compare it to anyone else and told me to take care of it, my friend, and myself. He turned and left, and never saw him again

It was such a surreal interaction for no real reason. I am not a religious person at all, but even now, I can't shake the feeling that that man was an angel or something. Not in a biblical sense, but some kind of higher being. I genuinely can't express what this guy felt like any more than that. What's more the cashier didn't know who I was talking about, she was dumbfounded. Nobody recognized this guy at all.

All of that said, I was an addict at this point in my life. I wasn't using it at work, but I was spending a lot of time getting loaded and looking into the occult and spirituality as a means of making sense of the world when I was high. So I may have also just been looking for it. But then how did nobody see this guy? I don't know.

I think about that little interaction with alarming regularity. I've cleaned up since then and got a good career as a paramedic. My friend still works in leather. He's getting married next year. I wore that bracelet for years. It still just means love to me." N

BIGFOOT ACKNOWLEDGES WITNESS, WAVES BACK in West-Central Oregon Forest

A woman was in the Oregon forest camping in an area that she was familiar with. While sitting and eating lunch, she noticed a Bigfoot walking about 300 yards from her.

“My encounter was on a summer morning in 1995 in Oregon, east of Oakridge, while I had taken my truck and little chainsaw on firewood run for my camp. Not the usual endeavor for a woman at 50 years old.

I had to camp about 20 miles east of Oak Ridge on a forest-access road. All the way to the end where the road ended was a grove of old-growth trees more than 250 feet tall. Here two large creeks merged and the trout fishing was incredible; peaceful quiet and serene, I never felt uncomfortable there. I felt watched over.

One morning while out on a wood run. I stopped at a spring pond on top of the mountain. At the end of that pond my favorite place to have lunch. Birds there will land in my hand to take food. Never saw humans in that area. They had no fear. As I was eating my sandwich, looking out over the forest just below me, I saw someone walking towards my position in the distance. It looked to be a person but as it drew closer, maybe 300 yards away. I realized by the height, the length of its strides, and that it was ducking under the lowest branches of the ponderosa pines, which are the only trees growing in that low cal altitude - you know how high up the lowest branches of that tree species are.

I stood there watching it come closer. No fear in me, just an incredible feeling of awe and joy. It stopped and just stood looking at me from maybe 50 feet. After a few moments, I raised an arm in greeting and a few seconds later, it raised its arm, turned, and strode off through the forest until I could no longer see it. To this day I feel it had caught my scent on the wind blowing past me in the direction he came from. Curiosity drew it to seek me, that human female high in the forest alone, he had no harm in mind for me or I would not be here.

I left that mountaintop that morning with the knowledge that they exist and a feeling of wonder that he came to visit me out there. I've not been to that mountaintop since that day, not because of fear but because of respect it is their home out there. I never told this story not just to avoid ridicule because I could care less if people believe me or not, I'm a great deal of Cherokee. ORANGE-EYED BIGFOOT Growls & Frightens San Antonio, Texas Witness

I received a telephone call from a San Antonio suburban resident who has been experiencing Bigfoot activity on their property.

The witness (BH) states that the outside home alarm system has been activated several times in the past, but a recent encounter has caused her concern.

A few nights ago, the alarm on her driveway was triggered. Since there had been significant rain in the area lately, she decided to go outside and check the battery/wiring to make sure that it hadn't been compromised. As she was examining the module, she heard a rustling sound and then a frightening growl behind her. The sound was coming from the direction of her van at the far end of the driveway. When she turned, she encountered a dark hair-covered being that stood at least a foot above her van.

Her description was that it looked like the Bigfoot in 'Harry and the Hendersons' as far as overall shape, but that it bared its large teeth and that the eyes were bright orange. She also noticed a distinct odor, not foul, but similar to Pine or Spruce. It continued to growl at her in a threatening manner. She quickly ran into the house and told her fiance. He grabbed a firearm and went out to check, but the creature was gone.

BH has lived in the house for 18 years but has only noticed activity in the past 2 years. She states that they have seen 'eye shine' from the trees in the back of the property (Maple, Mesquite, Cedar) several times. There has also been pet mutilation in the neighborhood during this period. The nearby residents are keenly aware of the activity. One neighbor has gathered physical evidence. She is afraid to be outside at night. She is an artist and has enjoyed amateur astronomy, but does not feel safe in her own backyard.

I have referred her concerns to an investigator in the area. I plan to follow up on the situation. Lon

Possible PALE, CRAWLER HUMANOID Seen While Driving in Laredo, Texas

A Laredo, Texas paranormal investigator contacted me about a possible sighting of a crawler humanoid while he was driving home at night.

I received the following account:

"My wife and I were returning from San Antonio, Texas on a Sunday night sometime around May or June. My wife had fallen asleep, so I turned up the radio and drove south, taking I-35 into Laredo.

As we approached the north side of town, I turned the cruise control off and dropped down from 65 to 60 to negotiate the curve under the railroad bridge that crossed the Interstate. I was in the right-hand lane as I came close to the bridge. That’s when I spotted what at first looked like a homeless guy, completely naked, scuttling along the embankment of the road.

He was skinny and pale-skinned, and his arms looked emaciated.

As I passed him, I had a creepy feeling that something about this person was all wrong. The way he moved as well as the way his arms and legs were more animalistic than human.

With 26 years in law enforcement, I thought about stopping and going back to see what this guy was doing, however, with my wife along, and it was close to midnight, so I just kept going, figuring the guy was drunk. I told my wife about what I had seen when we arrived at our home. She thought it sounded like some drunken guy living under the bridge.

After meeting you folks and hearing about the show you do, I began listening when I had a chance.

When you mentioned the crawler humanoids and described what people were reporting, I looked at the images on the internet, that are reported to be of this being, and sure enough, that is what I saw.

The creature was paralleling the road so I never saw its face or eyes, but the body shape was as close to the drawings as I care to get.

Every time I approach that railroad bridge I slow down and take a second look, but so far I’ve only seen it one time." CJ
