I Will Be Forever Grateful For The WOMAN AT THE BRIDGE!

I received an experience associated with possible Angels from a mother who found herself in a desperate situation, one in which she was contemplating taking her own life.

"Hello. I can relate to some of the stories that you have posted concerning encounters with Angels and related incidents. I had two such experiences.

One was a young Hispanic woman who saved me from driving off a bridge that day. She came up to my car window while I was parked crying and told me to think about my 3 kids and she asked to pray with me. After we prayed I realized that she had no way of knowing how many kids I had. They obviously were not with me and just as I was about to ask she was walking away toward the back of the bridge where the boats are put in so I got out of the car to talk to her but she was nowhere. I will forever be grateful that she was there to remind me of what was really important and I know she was an Angel.

Another time I was 8 months pregnant and my doctor had just informed me that there was no embryonic fluid in my womb so I had to get an emergency C-section the next day.

I was driving home on a major highway and my car broke down in the fast lane I was scared to death. This man came running from the shoulder in the right-hand lane and told me to steer as he took me over 2 lanes to the right shoulder while cars were zooming past. He came to the window and I was trying to find money to pay him and I was crying so grateful and he told me to pray for his wife as she had lost their baby in a car accident.

He refused the money but prayed with me and left. He did not disappear like the lady did but he is still an Angel in my eyes and I will never forget him, his wife, and their Angel baby." P

Regular Customer MAKES ONE LAST VISIT to the Restaurant!

A young waitress recalls her bizarre experience with a regular customer. The customer's mannerisms are routine, but that changed (and ended) that night.

I received the following account:

"Hi. I've been reading your site and thought that my story would interest you. One of my jobs, when I was young (18), was at a Coney-Island-style restaurant in my city. The restaurant was open 24/6, we closed at 3 am Sunday morning, re-opened at 6 am Monday morning, but stayed open all the time the rest of the week.

This particular thing happened at about 2:30 am on a Friday. I was the only waitress on shift and the owner was in the kitchen cooking. We were the only two people there.

At the time we had a regular I’ll call Max. Max was a barfly and a senior citizen. He would come in every night after the bar closed; he would have coffee, two eggs over-easy, and wheat toast. He ordered the same thing every time and every time his total came to $4.37. He’d give me $6 and tell me to keep the change.

So as I’m rolling silverware and waiting for our old pal Max I see a few emergency vehicles go down the main street towards the bar. Lights and sirens are on. About a minute later Max comes in, I get him coffee and ask him if he knows what’s going on. He just shook his head no. So I told my boss Max was there and my boss waved at him through the kitchen window and within 3 minutes Max’s order was up. He’s sitting at the counter and after a little while he slaps down some money and says, “Keep the change, honey” like he usually does, and walks out. I went over to cash out the check and the food hadn’t been touched, neither had the coffee, and there was a $100 bill on the counter. I was a teen mom and perpetually broke so that much money was basically life-changing at the time.

I saw in the paper on Sunday that Max had been involved in a fight at the bar that night and had been fatally injured." F

(VIDEO) USPS Driver Reports BIGFOOT Sighting in Peoria County, Illinois

A Peoria truck driver, transporting mail for the USPS in a 24-foot truck in rural central Illinois, reported seeing a huge creature alongside the road believed to be Bigfoot while completing his route on Oct. 5.

He was interviewed by Bigfoot investigators, who claimed it was an official sighting of the mysterious massive creature, also popularly known as the Sasquatch.

Troubled by what he saw, truck driver Gary Rutherford Jr., looked for Bigfoot research online, found a community message board, and posted his encounter.

"I'm not calling it Bigfoot, the investigators have concluded that's what it was, and I accept that," Rutherford said. "All I know is, it scared the absolute hell out of me. I can't get it out of my mind. I thought about it for days and felt like I needed to tell someone, to report it. That's how I ended up online.

"Now I'm hearing from people all over the place."

Rutherford Jr. is not alone. The TikTok video is packed with comments from viewers about their encounters with Bigfoot in the Peoria area. One comment noted someone had erected a giant cutout of Bigfoot on the top of a hill between two fields on a road between Glasford and Mapleton.

Gary Rutherford Jr. is a 42-year-old Peoria native. His son, Gary Rutherford III, was a star linebacker for Peoria High School and is now a redshirt freshman at Wyoming.

Rutherford drives for 10 Roads Express, a Peoria trucking firm that moves mail for USPS.

"I have a regular route I've been driving now for about a year and a half," Rutherford Jr. said. "I leave from downtown Peoria and head out to surrounding small towns. I take Route 9 between Glasford and Canton six days a week. On Oct. 5, I was maybe three-quarters of a mile onto Rt. 9, had my low beams on, still fairly dark out at 6 a.m. when I saw it.

"I didn't process this thing until I was right up on it. I did a double-take. It was standing, with two legs, and brown fur. I drove past it in about five seconds. At that moment, it locked eyes with me, orange, yellowish glowing eyes. And I realized it was eye-to-eye even though I was sitting high up in a 24-foot truck. So I estimated the thing had to be 8 feet tall.

"I was just stunned, trying to figure out what I just saw."

He arrived in Canton to offload his mail. Shaken, he told employees there about it. Later on he told family members. He went back in daylight to look at the area, hoping to find footprints, but it was heavily lined by grass.

The encounter really bothered him, so he started to research Bigfoot sites online and found a message board, where he posted his story. Bigfoot investigators contacted him. The TikTok video happened. He got teased by some people, and supported by others.

But he has an ongoing mystery to square in his mind and he still drives that route every day. That's all he can do. The truck is equipped with an exterior camera, but it is only triggered to start taping if there is a collision.

"I replay it over and over every day in my mind," Rutherford said. "That thing was just so huge. It was walking along the side of the road like it was getting ready to cross.

"And it was just me and him out there. I think it was as surprised as I was."

Group of 7-12 FOOT TALL 'VERY DARK BIGFOOT' Seen in Tucker County, WV Field

Four occupants in a car were riding on a rural road in Tucker County, WV when they observed a group of upright, dark Bigfoot that were 7-12 feet in height walking in a field.

I received the following account:

"This happened on a Sunday morning at about 10:30 in the morning. Four of us were in a small car and went to the top of a hill where fields and hills were rolling off into the distance. In the fields, there are a few bushes and trees scattered about. The car was sitting perpendicular to this one field and hill.

I looked up and saw four very dark and large creatures walking upright on the hill. At first, I thought they were bears, but why four? And why are they walking upright? They were taller than the bushes, but not quite as tall as the mature apple trees. They all looked somewhere between 7 to 12 feet tall. They were dark, very dark for how bright it was. Although they appeared hairy, I could not make out any features except that they were shaped very much like all the Bigfoot drawings that I have seen. Large head, large shoulders, huge chest, long arms, etc.

I am sitting in the backseat behind the driver closest to this field. When I yelled to get everyone to look, I could see four of them, but one was disappearing over the top of the hill. As the driver looked up, he only saw three of them. Then my girlfriend beside me saw them, and she only saw two. The last person only saw one. They had covered a good 80-100 yards in mere seconds but seemed to only be lumbering along. I guess none of that part really matters, but it really kind of freaked us all out. Was this some kind of a warning or a foreboding? I would go first and then the driver and so on.

We had planned to get out of the car and hang out up there for a while. But it was so eerily quiet, no cows, no birds, and even the insects seemed quiet. There were no odors, but we were downwind. It scared four country kids pretty well. The unnatural silence was what really got us. We decided to leave and go somewhere else. This occurred in Tucker County, West Virginia." L

MOTHER'S EERIE 'DOPPELGANGER' & VOICE Force Family to Flee House!

The witness arrives home, hearing her parents arguing. They were both supposed to be at work. The witness freaks out and runs out of the house. Then things get really weird!

I received the following account:

"Hi. This story is from a childhood friend who told me this and it still unnerves me to this day. She was genuinely freaked out and her family even backed up her claims.

Basically, my friend and her family moved into this rental property which my friend said was haunted. It gave everyone an 'off' feeling, those who visited or stayed over would mention it. I experienced this odd feeling of foreboding whenever I went over there and believed in the consensus that the house was haunted. It honestly felt oppressive in the house and you would feel this pitiful dread that is hard to compute into words and was extremely uncomfortable to experience, to say the least.

Anyway, this particular inexplicable event, which is the basis of this post, was enough for my friend's family to pack up and stay with relatives until they moved out permanently.

On this fateful afternoon, my friend had arrived back home from the park and heard an argument taking place in the kitchen between her mom and dad. My friend thought this was odd as both her parents should be at work so she called out, "Mom?" She then unlocked the front door and went inside. My friend said the house fell instantly silent. It was an uncanny silence like all the air had been sucked out of the place and felt stifling and wrong. Then her mom said, "Hey, Sara (my friend's name), we're in here." My friend was just outside the closed kitchen door at this point and froze beyond opening. It was her mother's voice but there was something off like the cadence was missing that made it her mother. It sounded flat and unnatural.

My friend decided to bolt back out the front door and wait outside until her brother came home but she said as she turned back and looked toward the house. She saw her mother peering at her from the lounge room window. But it wasn't her mother. The face was the same, everything was the same but her face was devoid of anything that made it her mother. There was no recognition on her mother's face, there was no indication that she was looking directly at her daughter, and there was no emotion in her expression. Nothing. The eyes looked uncaring and utterly blank.

My friend screamed and ran down the street to her mother's work and confirmed that she was there all this time and had never been home. Initially, my friend's mother reasoned that someone must have broken in but a later investigation proved nothing had been stolen and the back door was locked as was the front door when my friend came home. No one could rationalize who my friend saw in the window and why it looked so much like her mother (but not fully human) so that was the deciding factor for finding somewhere else to live.

The landlord of the house denied anything like this happening when they lived there but did admit tenants didn't stay long saying there was something was "wrong" in the house.

My friend also told me she was the only one who actually saw anything definitively sinister in the house, but her family said they definitely felt an evil presence there which ultimately manifested into the doppelganger experience my friend had. Utterly terrifying." S

Wisconsin Woman Believes a PRAYING 'ANGEL' Saved Her Father's Life!

A family is stunned to learn that their father was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor. Then a woman, unknown to the man's daughter, suddenly appears and prays with her.

I received the following account:

"This occurred in the parking lot of an emergency service clinic in Madison, Wisconsin. My father had been living with lymphoma for five years but started exhibiting stroke-like symptoms one day in April (nice weather plays a part in all this). I don't remember who in my family called me at work, but I was 45-50 minutes away.

When I arrived at the clinic, no one was with my dad; not my mom, not any medical personnel. My father was in a pleasant, but befuddled mood, able to chat but not clear on where people were. This was before anyone in my family had a cell phone. There was a phone on the wall next to Dad's bed which I used to call my husband at work, who had agreed to be a communication point, to ask what the hell was happening.

I recall hearing my spouse tell me that my father had been diagnosed with a brain tumor. I'm staring at Dad trying to not show my shock and devastation because he's been told but doesn't grasp this. While they had to wait for an ambulance transport to a hospital, my mom had run home for his meds and necessities. My husband says my mom had called and she hadn't found Dad's insurance card, so could I go look for that at their house so Mom can be with Dad.

OK, sure. I was numb. I drifted in a haze to my car in the very full parking lot. I rolled down my window as I started the car, and the flood of tears came. My sobbing was so physical that I couldn't back out of the spot.

Suddenly, a middle-aged African American woman appeared at my car window asking if she could pray with me. I managed to nod my assent, and she reached to hold my left hand. I don't remember anything she said but she was praying aloud. It calmed me. I instantly gained the mental and physical strength to cope with this tragedy.

Then, suddenly, she was gone. She simply vanished into thin air as I was looking at her!

I'm totally convinced that she was an Angel.

My Dad's aggressive brain tumor, against all the odds and to the surprise of the oncologists, disappeared within 3 months. He lived another 12 years and eventually passed away, not from lymphoma, but by natural causes. He was 93 years old." H

DISEMBODIED VOICES & MORE CREEPINESS Reported at Dead Woman Hollow!

An eyewitness contacted me after finding a cryptid canine report that I posted from Michaux State Forest, PA. The location, Dead Woman Hollow, is well-known for its creepiness!

I received the following account:

"Hi, Lon. I recently found your post about the Dogman encounter in Dead Woman Hollow. I thought that I would contact you about the creepy experience I had there.

It happened about 8 years ago in Michaux State Forest in South Central Pennsylvania. It was a charming fall day and I stopped at a little roadside pull-off for a hike, which turned out to be Dead Woman Hollow (a snowmobile trail that intersects with the Appalachian Trail, I think?) I set off walking and I was so relaxed and really enjoying the hike until I turned around and started back.

As I was walking back I got this awful feeling that I was being watched and even pursued. At one point I felt what seemed to be a handful of smallish rocks hit the back of my leg and I turned around expecting to see a couple of dudes being funny, teasing the lady (me) alone on the trail, but there was no one there. I brushed it off but the feeling of being watched increased until it was all I could do not to break into a run.

I made it back to my car fine but the feeling I experienced on Dead Woman's Hollow really shook me. Of course, I later Googled 'Dead Woman's Hollow' and found out about the horrible murder/shooting that happened there in the 80s. I honestly wondered if I had been picking up on that incident somehow (I'm not psychic or anything at all though). Over the years though I have to admit I've wondered about Sasquatch as rock-throwing and feelings of being watched are associated with sightings. Anyway, Dead Woman's Hollow can get creeeeeepy!" M

The post that this witness referred to:

"Hello, Lon. I just came across your site and listened to the Arcane episode about the need for people to submit info for your investigations. Let me start by saying I have no desire to experience any anomaly but for whatever reason, seem to draw them, much to my dismay. This is the 1st time I have spoken to anyone outside of my family. Here is my encounter:

Place: Michaux State Forest PA / Cumberland County in Dead Woman Hollow

Time: Last weekend of August 2015

My husband and I began sitting around a fire pit at my sister’s cabin shortly before dusk. There was no one else present the entire time. As always, we were both armed. We also had a spotlight and were about 20 ft from the front door of the cabin. We both have been avid outdoor people all our lives with many, many hours hunting various wildlife, trapping, fishing, camping, canoeing, and hiking.

My husband began playing around yelling weird sounds to get a reaction out of me because I was nervous for the first time out of all the times I had been there for some reason. To our surprise, something answered him from, I want to say, within 100 yards of the woods, with the same sounds he made. He stopped and we sat silently looking and listening for what it was. No more joking around.

The yells, probably 5 in total, came closer over a few hours until the last one heard was clearly within 40 yards of us. It was with that I decided to go inside. I had been shining the spotlight intermittently throughout the evening into the woods and thought I would do so one last time as we both walked towards the cabin.

That’s when I saw something for the first time...yellow eyes. It did not look away or blink but remained staring back at me from the area where the last yell came from. I tried to see its body but everything else was dark around it. When I said “I see eye shine!” to my husband, the eyes moved several feet sideways, staring at me the whole time, then disappeared completely. I have spotlighted deer and various animals and this was not the same. They were at least twice the size of a deer’s eyes and there was no indication it had turned its head or walked away, but instead gave the impression of stepping behind something.

Once inside the cabin, we retired for the night with the bed having been positioned directly under a window that was left open for ventilation. My husband slept undisturbed throughout the night. I, however, heard what sounded like wood chops 6 different times. I clearly heard a loud “crack” close by, also.

The next morning, I walked to the area of the last vocalization/eye shine down a path. I found the biggest tree in the area about 5 ft off the path. It was too big to put my arms around. I noticed a clear line from the tree to the path of disturbed leaves as if something walked to the tree and then returned the same way. None of the other leaves around were disturbed except the line continuing across the path in the opposite direction into thick cover. I also found a freshly broken tree limb, approx. 10" diameter and about 4' long, lying in the path, all of this within 10 sq ft. It appeared to have come from a live tree nearby and had been broken off several feet above my head.

I had every intention of investigating the scene even more but frankly, lost my wit (which is not like me) and returned to the fire pit to tidy up. I knew all this was abnormal and didn't feel right. That’s when the most frightening thing happened.

My attention was brought back to the big tree by really loud sounds of something BIG moving FAST towards me from the cover where the line of disturbed leaves was. I saw the foliage moving closer as I ran inside the cabin. I am sure I couldn’t have been but a second or two away from seeing it burst out into plain view, which is exactly what I did not want!

So what I would like to know is, what mimics people's voices, has large eyes that shine yellow at night, hides behind big trees, makes wood chopping sounds, breaks big limbs off of live trees, and charges at people in broad daylight?

NOTE: So where do I start? Well, this area has the Appalachian Trail traversing through it and there was a murder near there - Dead Woman Hollow - Rebecca Wight, but it actually got its name from the fact that a woman whose identity is no longer known was bitten by a snake and died there. After she was found the natives referred to this area and the road as the Dead Woman Hollow. There was also a crime/horror movie (fiction) made about the location - Dead Woman's Hollow (2013)

Anyway, the witnesses most likely had a run-in with a Bigfoot, which has been reported throughout Michaux State Forest. But then again, I'm not going to discount the fact that bi-pedal canines have been seen in Cumberland County, and Michaux State Forest would be an excellent habitat for them. ANTLERED HUMAN-LIKE FIGURE Seen in Itasca County, Minnesota Church Window!

A group of friends is driving to Minnesota to spend a week at a cabin that they frequent annually. On the way, near the cabin, the driver observes an antlered being in the window of a church!

I received the following account:

"Hi, Lon. Thanks for allowing me to send you my story. Every year my 5 friends and I from high school make a trip up to my family’s cabin in Itasca County, Minnesota to spend the week drinking, fishing, playing cards, and getting into some shenanigans. We started this tradition after our senior year of high school and have kept it up ever since.

The very first year we went we all took a minivan from Arizona up to the lake. We usually stop in Denver, Colorado for the first night and make the 17-hour drive up to the lake the next day.

On the second day of the drive, it was 1 am in the morning and we were about an hour away from the cabin. It had just rained and the road was extremely foggy, we could hardly see 10 yards in front of the van. On the final stretch, we come around a corner and we see a giant cross glowing in the distance. In that foggy lighting with little to no sleep and after 16 hours in the car the sight of a cross in the distance was ominous, to say the least.

As we drive past the cross we see a run-down decrepit church lit up by the light of the cross. My friends will deny it to this day but I can swear that I saw a light turn on in the church as I drove past it and in the window I saw a human-like figure with antlers on its head! I wasn't tired and the long drive hadn't affected me. I was freaked out and wanted to get as far away from that church as possible but couldn’t drive away quickly because of the fog and the fact that deer were jumping onto the road every few minutes. We ended up making it to the cabin safely, but every time I think back to that drive I get chills.

NOTE: Some people would immediately say that the witness observed a Wendigo. I'm not sure if that is what this was. The Ojibwe people, who are native to the area, have traditional lore about deer women who are harbingers of vengeance. The fact that this entity was seen in the window of a church is interesting. TALL, SHADOWY FIGURE Freaks Out Teen Girls in Davenport, Iowa

Teen friends were searching for a friend when they encountered a shadowy figure of a man carrying a briefcase down the street on the sidewalk. What was it that they saw?

I received the following account:

"Hello. When I was a teen, we called the being we encountered 'Slenderman' when the creepypasta meme legend got popular sometime later, but our experience didn’t fully fit the story. I'm not sure what it was. When I was 16, I was at a friend’s house overnight in Davenport, Iowa near the river. One of our friends had sort of disappeared and it was 11 pm so we figured I and another girl would run across the street to the high school and see if she’d gone back there (we had eaten together on school grounds earlier, so that was our best guess).

As my fellow searcher and I stepped out of the house, we saw the tall shadowy figure of a man with a briefcase standing completely still about 200 feet down the sidewalk. The streetlights were bright but not bright enough to make out any further details. She and I looked at each other and went “You see him too right?” We agreed to try finding our friend anyway. We started crossing the street, looked back, and he was suddenly a couple houses closer to us yet still standing motionless. We freaked out and ran back into the house screaming.

The girl we went to look for came upstairs from the basement from the commotion, and we were very glad to see her but also rather upset. I have never again jumped headfirst into a couch hard enough to smash my head nor have I run that fast again. Some of the other girls went outside to see if they saw him and came back in instantly freaking out about a shadow figure next to the house.

The whole legend of Slenderman got popular a few months later, so we decided that was him and laughed about it. We didn’t sleep that night though. We armed ourselves and barricaded into a bedroom. I’m tearing up now typing this up because it still gives me a primal terror chill. Feels silly but whatever, I will not be out at night in that town ever again." D
