THE BANSHEE LEGEND: Mythology, Omen, or Real History?

The Banshee, from the Irish bean-sídhe ("woman of the síde" or "woman of the fairy mounds"), is a female spirit in Irish mythology, usually seen as an omen of death and a messenger from the Otherworld. Her Scottish counterpart is the bean shìth.

According to tradition, the Banshee can only cry for five major Irish families: the O'Neills, the O'Briens, the O'Connors, the O'Gradys, and the Kavanaghs. Intermarriage has since extended this select list. Individuals have described the Irish Banshee in numerous ways. Many describe this mythical creature as a young, beautiful woman. Then, some describe the Banshee as a matron. In some tales, the figure who first appears to be a Banshee is later revealed to be the Irish battle goddess, the Morrígan. The hag may also appear as a washer-woman who cleans the blood-stained clothes of those who are about to die. Although not always visible, her mourning call is heard, usually at night when someone is about to die and usually near woodlands. The Banshee may also appear in a variety of other forms, such as that of a crow, hare, and weasel, almost any animal associated in Ireland with witchcraft. Banshees are frequently described as dressed in white or grey, often having long, fair hair which they brush with a silver comb.

In 1437, King James I of Scotland was approached by an Irish seeress or banshee who foretold his murder at the instigation of the Earl of Atholl. This is an example of the banshee in human form. There are records of several human banshees or prophetesses attending the great houses of Ireland and the courts of local Irish kings.

The Irish Banshee, according to the people of Ireland, may come in the form of one of many different animals. This is partly because the actual female version of the Banshee is not always seen in that form, however, several animals have been said to emit the same sounds as the mythical creature makes when forewarning of tragedy. This sound is called the "Mourning Call". In some cases, no animal or female figure is seen, but the call can be heard coming from the dark, mysterious depths of the forests located throughout Ireland.

The Banshee of Ireland is a very interesting legend. All throughout history, there have been accounts regarding the sightings of this mythical creature. Is she real? There is no physical evidence apart from witness accounts and tales passed from one generation to another, but for those in Ireland, this is a very real mythical creature. For the rest of us, it is truly one of the world’s greatest unsolved mysteries.

The term banshee is an anglicization of the Irish bean sídhe or bean sí or the Scots Gaelic bean shìth, – both meaning “woman of the fairy mounds” or “woman of peace”
One of the Banshee Legends

There was an Irish gentleman who had a beautiful daughter, strong and healthy, and a splendid horsewoman. She always followed the hounds, and her appearance at the hunt attracted unbounded admiration, as no one rode so well or looked so beautiful.

One evening there was a ball after the hunt, and the young girl moved through the dance with the grace of a fairy queen.

But that same night a voice came close to the father's window, as if the face were laid close to the glass, and he heard a mournful lamentation and a cry; and the words rang out on the air--"In three weeks death; in three weeks the grave--dead--dead--dead!"

Three times the voice came, and three times he heard the words; 'but though it. was bright moonlight, and he looked from the window over the park, no form was to be seen.'

The next day, his daughter showed symptoms of fever, and exactly in three weeks, as the Ban-Sidhe had prophesied, the beautiful girl lay dead.

The night before her death soft music was heard outside the house, though no word was spoken by the spirit voice, and the family said the form of a woman crouched beneath a tree, with a mantle covering her head, was distinctly visible. But on approaching, the phantom disappeared, though the soft, low music of the lamentation continued till dawn.

Then the angel of death entered the house with soundless feet, and he breathed upon the beautiful face of the young girl, and she rested in the sleep of the dead, beneath the dark shadows of his wings.

Thus the prophecy of the Banshee came true, according to the time foretold by the spirit-voice.

"Who sits upon the heath forlorn,With robe so free and tresses torn?Anon she pours a harrowing strain,And then she sits all mute again!Now peals the wild funeral cryAnd now... it sinks into a sigh."

Another Banshee Legend

In about the middle of the nineteenth century lived the Reverend Charles Bunworth of Co. Cork. Mr. Bunworth became deathly ill. His wife was not too worried because it looked like his health was improving.

A servant of the household knew his master was going to die. He heard the dreaded wail along with several others. He tells his story;

“As I came through the glen at Ballybeg, she was along with me screeching and keening, and clapping her hands, by my side every step of the way, with her long white hair falling about her shoulders, and I could hear her repeat the master’s name every now and then as plain as ever I heard it. When I came to the old abbey, she parted from me there and turned into the pigeon field next to the berrin ground, and folding her cloak about her, down she sat under the tree that was struck by lightning, and began keening so bitterly that it went through one’s heart to hear it.

Mrs. Bunworth dismissed this as superstition because her husband's health was getting better.

A few nights later a low moaning accompanied by the sound of clapping was heard outside of Mr. Bunworth’s window. Two men visiting the house immediately ran outside to find the source of the sound. They found nothing and heard only silence. Meanwhile the people still in the house kept hearing the wailing and moaning and clapping. This continued for hours. All the while Mr. Bunworth began slipping away. He was dead by the morning.

This just goes to show you that once someone has heard a banshee, death is not far behind.

Why the Legends?

It is believed that the myth of the Banshee developed due to the Irish tradition of the lament; women would sing a lament for the dead at funerals, and for some in the village, this song would carry through the air and become the first signal that someone had died.

These funeral singers were known as “keeners”, and their services were highly prized. From the natural honoring of the dead, the legend of the Banshee began.
As time passed, the myth of the wailing Irish spirit became more colorful and supernatural.

What Am I Dealing With? ALIEN, SPIRIT, MENTAL ILLNESS, or ALL THE ABOVE?

Over the years, I have received hundreds of anomalous accounts from the state of Ohio. In fact, I believe I've received more submissions from Ohio than any other state in the US.

"Dear Mr. Strickler. I will be upfront and honest with you. I am one of those who want to believe. However, I am also one of those who is very skeptical. I have read the books of Eric Von D, Robert Bauval, and others. Mainstream media has tickled my interest in DaVinci and the Free Masons. For over 25 years or so (now in my early 40s) I have always had a love of Mayan, Inca, and ancient Egyptian societies. Maybe a year or so ago while watching something on NatGeo/SyFy/History Channel, I was browsing the WWW and came across your blog. I have followed on and off since then, and your posts of the little lizard man and most recently your post of the "Red Man", kinda hit home for me. With "V", I felt that if this person could come forward then I know I am not alone and they may also know that they are not alone in having an experience."

"I was born and raised in NE Ohio. I had a normal upbringing (or what some would call). Parents are still married, went to church on Sundays, had a dog, picket fence, all those things. I did a little marijuana in high school, I rarely drink, and there is only one reported case of a mental illness in my family."

"When I was 12-13 years old, I remember having a very vivid dream where I was sitting in my living room watching TV. While watching TV (in my dream I was viewing myself in 3rd person) something made me want to look out through the dining room and out through the large sliding glass door into the backyard. When I turned my head, it was completely dark outside, and then in almost a comedic way of film, this giant moon slid up from below the horizon (like from the 9 to 12 position on a clock). The moon was enormous, almost filling the sky, and was brilliantly white. As I sit dumbfounded in my dream staring out the back window, something pulls my legs out from under me while I'm sitting on them on the floor. This startled me but while in my dream I was still staring at the moon this voice from what I can only assume was in my head said, "It's almost over"."

"This frightened me horribly. So much so that I woke up hot and sweaty only to find my bedroom door partially open with a small, dark figure closing the door and saying without moving his mouth "Don't tell"."

"I don't recall really any of the small humanoid's features. I just recall him being about 2-2.5 ft tall and seeing the figure darker than gray complexion and nothing moved on its face when I heard it speak. Even to this day, this incident is one of the most vivid memories that I have."

(Seeing your photo of the reptile man was nearly like pulling out a photo of my head from that past memory)

"I mentioned nothing of this occurrence until just a few years ago to a close friend. I never even told my wife."

"Well, I went off to college, came back home, got married, had a couple of kids, and just over a year ago bought my parent's house. On and off since the encounter/dream/incident (whatever you would like to call it because I don't) I get this feeling like I'm being observed. Not the kind of being watched where you are sitting up at night unable to sleep and you feel like someone is watching you through the window. More like something is waiting for me as I walk into rooms and sit in the car with me while I drive to work. This was only in small increments and I never felt it to be constant. But since moving back home, I am feeling it more so."

"My son is the fun age of 5 and recently started talking about some guy he met here at home named 'Kyle Foker'. He tells my wife and I that he has seen him all over the house. Yes, he is a child, with an imagination. But while giving him the 20 questions over his new friend I am rattling my brain on what TV show/commercial/movie he could have come up with this, and so far have come up with nothing."

"While that is going on I was in the kitchen just a week or so ago talking to my mom and for some reason, I felt compelled to look the other way and I saw a dark figure. This figure that I saw had an upside-down triangle for a torso and a rectangular block for a head. When I turned to look I could tell that it looked at me because while my brain was trying to comprehend what I just had seen, I could see that the blockhead sort of rotated and proceeded to take an immediate left and zip its way through my stairs that go up to our bedrooms."

"From everything that I know, no one has died on this property. (My grandfather who lived with my parents and me (at my current location) for a few years from the time I was six until I was in high school became ill with Alzheimer's and later passed away having a complication from a stroke at a hospice center.) But I am afraid partially for my sanity but more for my family. Although no one has been hurt in any way, I can't help to think like a father/husband and want to protect my family from any possible threat. But my issue here is that what the hell am I dealing with? Possible alien thing, spirit, mental illness, or all of the above? Am I seeing one thing and my son is seeing something else?"

ARE THOSE BROTHERS STILL ARGUING?

A couple moves into an old farmhouse and soon notices evidence that there are spirit energies still present there, particularly two male entities that are known to argue with each other.

"It's getting close to summer and we (living at our 1902 farmhouse) expect the brothers to start arguing again.

We moved into the house in July 2007, but before we did, our new neighbors told us the place was haunted. The sellers did not disclose this information to us. I don't know if the "heavy" atmosphere in the house can be attributed to the warning or if it felt "funny" because of the big old empty spaces, but I went upstairs one day and said, in one of the bedrooms to no one in particular: "If there's anyone here, you are welcome to stay. Just no parlor tricks. You know, things levitating or apparitions popping up in the dead of night or behind you when you're looking at a mirror."

At first, we heard voices, as if there was a family gathering. Then, the porch light going off, comes back on. Then my husband reported a bag of homemade cookies fell off a shelf and into his lap, which would have taken some force since he was sitting a few feet away. A library book flying off the center island, which might have been knocked off from vibrations of us walking around it, though we haven't been able to reproduce it. There's been humming and more talking. One night, while we were both trying to sleep, I was just about to say something about a woman talking when my husband asked, "Do you hear that? Sounds like a female," I answered.

The next year my husband mentioned hearing two male voices outside, intensely discussing business. Our neighbors aren't close and they're not night owls, and my husband heard them mention doing something "after death." My daughter reported the same conversation.

It was last year when I heard the voices, apparently right outside the family room, where we kept our computer. I wasn't frightened, but was skeptical. A few nights later, I returned home after work. I work late into the evenings, so I returned at about 2 am and heard two male voices yelling at each other. I couldn't make out what they were saying, and the first thing I thought was some kids were arguing. Outside. At 2 am in the morning. And none of my neighbors were disturbed by the sound of it as no lights popped on or police cars entered my drive.

With a cold chill, I realized that these arguing men could be the same heard by my husband and daughter. I did not hesitate to get into the house.

There could be a reasonable explanation. A sound arc. Two people arguing in the middle of the night, outside on a warm evening.

However, earlier this year, my husband went into the hardware store to get something to fix an old doorknob. In a conversation with an elderly shopper, my husband mentioned the difficulty in finding the right items to fix something in an old house.

The man asked him some particulars, where he lived, how old the place was, etc. My husband told him....the man's reply gave me chills.

"I know the place," my husband reported to me. "Are those brothers still arguing?"

I'm hoping they will settle sometime soon." H

MONSTER OF SISTER LAKES: 'It's No Bear. It Had a Human Face!' (SKETCH)

One of the witnesses said it was about seven feet tall and 'had a black human face. A multiple-year saga in Cass & Van Buren Counties, Michigan.

'Huge Monster' Frightens Girls at Sister Lakes

The 'Monster of Sister Lakes' made a daylight appearance today, terrorizing three young girls and causing one of them to faint. Joyce Smith, 13: Patsy Clayton, 12, and her sister, Gail, 13, said they were walking along a wooded road in Silver Creek Township at about 9:15 AM when the 'monster' suddenly appeared. Joyce saw him first and promptly fainted. Patsy got a good look at the creature before it ducked into the woods. Gail was too far away to see it.

After the 'monster' fled, the girls revived Joyce and they ran to a neighboring home and telephoned police. Sheriff's deputies armed with rifles rushed to the area. Joyce said the creature 'did not look like a man,' Patsy, who said she saw it at close range, said it 'looked like a bear.' She said it was about seven feet tall and 'had a black face.'

Earlier, authorities had ended the search for the 'monster' after thousands of residents poured into the area, creating a massive traffic jam. Area residents have been on edge in recent days since reports began circulating that the monster is back. Terrified residents have described the monster as about nine feet tall and weighing 500 pounds.

Cass County sheriff's deputies said the presence of the monster has been reported off and on for about two years. Mrs. John Utrup of nearby Dewey Lakes, Michigan, told the sheriff's deputies the beast chased her into her home Tuesday night. She said she was saved when her dogs barked and drove the monster away. Other descriptions said it was covered with black hair up to its neck and had eyes that glowed like an animal that had a light shining in its eyes. Various witnesses said the monster made noises 'like a tamed goose' and 'a baby crying.'

Cass County Deputy Sheriff Ernest Kraus said deputies were dispatched to the area in which the monster had been reported. They were armed with deer rifles and would stake out the area 'until we solve this.' But deputies said the area was inundated with a flow of curiosity seekers and all the officers were forced to direct traffic. 'We had all the men we could spare up there and had to get some help from Van Buren County 'to take care of the traffic, a spokesman said. He said many cars were loaded with up to six people. 'We don't know what it is. We don't even know if it exists,' the sheriff's spokesman said. 'But there have been complaints by about 10 reputable persons and we have to check them out.' Kraus said it has not been precluded the object of the extensive search in progress is a gorilla. 'We have had no reports of any circus gorillas having escaped by the description of several persons matches that of a gorilla with hair up to the neck, widespread eyes, and about nine feet tall. 'Whatever it is, it could have been in that swampy and wooded area for some time.' Authorities also theorized the creature could be a big bear.

Tracks found in the mud showed an imprint of 3 3/4 inches at the heel and spanned six inches across the foot. The general area in which the monster has been reported is on the Cass Van Buren County line. The area is inhabited by year-round occupants as well as the location of many summer resorts and cabins. Kraus said many witnesses agreed with Mrs. Utrup in the description of the monster. 'That many people can't be wrong, so there must be something out there,' he said. He said that officers from two counties investigated similar reports about two years ago but were unable to locate the mysterious creature. 'I hope we can find out what the score is,' Kraus said. 'Women are terrified and refuse to leave their homes without escorts.' Gordon Brown, Dowagiac, Michigan, said he saw the monster Tuesday night in the headlights of his car on the farm of Harold Utrup, brother-in-law of Mrs. Utrup. 'It's no bear,' Brown insisted. 'It had a human face.'

BIGFOOT/WOLF HYBRID Roamed Michigan's Upper Peninsula?

"They rounded up the rest of the guys hunting. My dad, a few male cousins, and my uncle got all their shotguns and ammunition and saddled the horses to go clear the woods."

"This happened when I was about 12 years old to my uncle. He's no longer with us and I want to share his story.

Growing up, I lived in Michigan's Upper Peninsula on 5,000 acres of farm/ranch land that backed up into state land. Nothing but miles of forest and pasture could be seen. Needless to say, it made us pretty tough and it takes a lot to spook us. We are all avid hunters, fishermen, and outdoorsmen. Being the only girl I was raised as a tomboy and I'm just the same.

My uncle went off to join the military, becoming a senior NCO in a prominent special forces division of the US Navy. He was 6'4, built like a wrestler, and obviously skilled in survival tactics and nothing rattled him.

He was home on leave and went out hunting as it was deer season. I remember him coming in the house shaking and crying saying he saw something in the woods. My uncle never cried. He was tough as nails and would tear someone to shreds before he let them make him cry. My grandmother tried to get him to make sense but he kept saying he saw Bigfoot mixed with a wolf. My granny immediately got my grandfather and he rounded up the rest of the guys hunting, my dad, a few male cousins, and my uncle (who was still terrified but went because he didn't want to be labeled a chicken), got all their shotguns and ammunition and saddled the horses to go clear the woods. Apparently, they were aware of the dogman but I was blissfully young and ignorant. They told me to stay inside and for no reason was I to step outside of our house until they returned. I had never heard my dad or grandfather so serious, so I hid in my room.

Sunset comes and they still aren't back. I'm really worried at this point because they never stayed in the woods until after dark. Shortly I heard the sound of the horses running to the barn and their voices. I was so relieved. They looked troubled when they came into the house but didn't say anything, probably to not spook me. At dinner my dad laid down the law I was no longer allowed to play outside or go to the barns alone. I had to have my grandfather with me at all times. Of course, I was upset by this and felt my independence was being taken away, but I obeyed. The next morning my dad and grandfather taught me how to shoot. I knew it was serious.

I overheard the adults talking the next night. Apparently, there were tracks where my uncle had his sighting, bigger than any wolf could make but they were definitely dog tracks. As I said before we are avid outdoorsmen and hunters we can identify tracks easily but these couldn't be identified. About 8 ft up in a tree were claw marks. No Michigan bear could make those. We also found claw marks of about the same height on multiple trees throughout our property. There were cattle mutilated and not in the way a coyote or bear would and it lasted that whole winter. We lost about 30-40 cattle that winter, all of them mutilated. All with the same wolf/dog tracks in the snow.

I really feel like this experience changed my uncle. Who knows. He did multiple tours in the Middle East for Desert Storm and OIF (Operation Iraqi Freedom) before he committed suicide. After that experience though he was never the same. He went from not ever drinking to never seeing him without a bottle of Jack and his eyes were always haunted. He changed his personality and never went out in the woods again. He quit hunting and he eventually just quit coming home to visit on leave. He didn't even come home for my dad's funeral 2 years later. It was heartbreaking to see him deteriorate the way he did. I truly believe he saw something out there and it ultimately killed him" B

UNKNOWN 'BEINGS' Encountered in the Peruvian Jungle!

I received the following odd account several years ago. I was laced with obscenities (edited) and seemed a bit frantic, to be honest. I'm presenting it again for comments from the readers.

"Ok. A little back story, I am a reptile enthusiast and until recently I bred, sold, and collected large pythons. In 2015 I saw a Facebook advertisement for a reptile expedition led by some of the world's top herpetologists (reptile experts) for a week in the middle of the Amazon jungle. That was a dream come true for me, to go into the jungle with experts and catch just about everything we could find. I even caught a Cayman (alligator relative). Basically, the first time I went in 2015 I had the absolute time of my life, made friends with some of my best friends to this day and had no reason not to go back.

The trip happened again in 2016, but I missed that expedition. My FOMO (fear of missing out) made me promise myself that I wouldn't miss the trip the following year. So 2017 comes along and I see the advertisement for the trip and BOOM my credit card comes out and I am BOOKED, BABY!

The trip was in October and I couldn't be more excited. The trip started and returned to a city in Peru called Iquitos, a very small town with no road entrance to the city from the jungle, only by boats or planes, and cars of any kind are considered luxury, as everyone drives motor scooters. My plan was to leave Friday, arrive and relax Saturday in Iquitos, and disembark Sunday with the group into the Amazon. Well, my flight got canceled due to Hurricane Irma and now I am re-booked on a flight that will get me there Sunday, just in time to land and get to the loading dock. Then THAT flight gets delayed to the point that I will not get there in time to disembark with the rest of the group.

The way the trip worked is that there were 4 lodges (the first year, only went to 3 the second year because a bunch of school kids were occupying one of them). So this time were going to spend 1 night at the first place, 2 nights at the second, and 2 nights at the last lodge. So since my flight is delayed I now have to spend the first night of the expedition in the town of Iquitos at a hotel and catch up with the group at the 2nd location.

So I arrive Sunday, sleep the night and the next morning go on a 2-hour riverboat to meet up with the group. I arrive and say hello to my friend leading the expedition and get acquainted with everybody, check into my "room." It was not meant to be any type of living quarters that you would want to spend your time in, as the main purpose for it was to sleep, and spend the rest of the day out enjoying the wilderness of the Amazon. The rooms were all the same, maybe an 8x8 foot square with a bed and a dresser. No ceilings (instead there was one big canopy that covered ALL the rooms) and the back wall near the head of the bed, was actually only a half wall, with a curtain to cover the rest of the way up. And the doors only had a latch lock that you would lock from the inside if you were inside, and from the outside if you were outside...but anyone could go in if it wasn't locked from the inside. I guess we were all just supposed to be trusting of the group we were with.

The way the lodge was laid out was that there was essentially one walkway that was elevated maybe 10-12 feet off the ground and went straight by every room. There was a main room in the middle for everybody to eat and meet up before our nature walks, so there were I think 12 or 13 rooms on each side of the big room, with stairs that came up from the jungle right at the entrance to the that room, or if you turned right instead of left, it was the walkway that went by the 12 or 13 rooms on that side.

We mostly lounged and talked during the day or could go off and do our own exploring, with most of our group activity being done at night. Around maybe 9 or 10 at night we all met up and split into two groups to go on seperate paths and search for any kind of critters we could find. Since it was most of their first night in the jungle the night before, they were so excited to be there that they stayed out till 5am searching the jungle, then had to catch the riverboat to the next lodge at 10am, they were pretty tired the second night. We ended up calling it quits the second night around maybe 2-2:30am. A few people went to the common area to have a drink or two before getting to bed, but it was pretty much the end of the night not long after that everyone was in bed.

HERE IS WHERE SH*T STARTS TO GET STRANGE.

Now I don't know if this has anything to do with what was about to follow, but the first strange thing that happened, is that as I was settling into bed, there was a persistent knock on my door and the person was calling me by my nickname...which is strange because nobody really knew me by that name, not even my friend leading the trip. But being that it was late and I didn't really want to get out of bed, I ignored it, pretending I was sleeping, and it went away,

So I am in bed, and I realize that the curtain behind me on the half wall has a slight crack in it and that the sun might shine right on my face in the morning, so I get up to close it. When I get to the curtain, instead of closing it, I decide to just get a good reality check of where I am, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AMAZON JUNGLE. So I open the curtain. Now until this point, I have had nothing but positive experiences and vibes here, but as I was looking out into the jungle, I can only explain it as a sensation that someone was telepathically telling me (or maybe it was intuition) "SHUT THE F*CK UP, CLOSE THE CURTAIN, AND GET IN BED". I didn't know where those feelings came from, but I did exactly that.

Within 5 minutes of getting back in bed, all of a sudden I hear a mechanical beep or boop from nearby. 3 boops, with an echo... "beep(beep) beep(beep) beep(beep)." I wasn't sure at first if it was mechanical or some animal in the jungle making its call. Well, right after the beep, AT LEAST 3 beings were made present on the lodge grounds. They were grunting. At first, I thought it was a REALLY big animal, but then I realized that these 3 beings were communicating with each other, and these aren't just normal grunting pigs, these are INTELLIGENT grunts. They are giving and receiving commands. Then, one of them acknowledges with a reptilian-sounding HISS! At this point I am at full attention, thinking that there is NO WAY anyone would be able to sleep through this and that at least some of the other 20 people in the group are hearing this as well. At this point, the jungle is SILENT except for their communication and movement, which is a VERY EERIE feeling.

I don't really have a very good reference of time but after maybe 30-45 minutes of them walking the perimeter. I don't really know how to explain the sound it made... kinda like a computer R2D2 type sound, but I hear that sound, and it goes RIGHT OVER MY ROOM, all the way to the 1st room along the walkway (I was in the 12th room and there was only one more next to mine). So this thing goes over room 1, and I see that it shined a light straight down into the room, like it was signaling that room. As soon as it signals that room, the WHOLE structure shakes as this creature comes up the stairs from the ground to the walkway, then, the most frightening thing happens. I hear it JUMP OVER THE WALL INTO ROOM 1!

NOW I am FREAKED OUT. I start thinking in my head how this is all going to turn out... imagining the Channel 4 news report of a group of expeditioners going missing in the Amazon.

I don't really know how much time passed.. maybe 10? 20? minutes. Then the sound and the orb signal over room 2 and I hear the same thing as before; the thing jumps into room 2!!!

Quick side note: I have always been a lot more, let's say curious/adventurous than my mother. In her mind, she sometimes chalks up to stupidity. Her biggest fear is basically that I go into the jungle, do something stupid, and get myself killed.

So at this point I get out my notepad as quietly as I can and I write her a letter saying that something is outside of the rooms, but I am going to stay inside and not go check things out for HER sake, and that if I end up going missing, it's because they came and took me, and not because I tried to be brave and ended up doing something stupid.

Anyways, the same amount of time goes by, maybe 10-20 minutes, and AGAIN, orb sound, light signal, thing jumps to next room. This sequence happens maybe 4 or 5 times, and then as it seems it's going to happen again in room number 6, this time the thing jumps in the room and I don't know what caused it. But this thing SHRIEKED like a freakin alien hiss or roar or whatever the f*ck it was. I can only imagine it was looking as scary as it sounded while doing so. I am sitting in my room in complete darkness, complete silence, with no defense, scared absolutely SH*TLESS! It's coming down the pathway, it's gonna eventually get to me....right?

It continues down the walkway and it's in the room DIRECTLY NEXT TO MINE. I hear the process as usual, it jumps the wall, but when it gets in, and I'm assuming it's about to start doing whatever it is doing to the humans in the rooms, my neighbor in her sleep lets out a quick moan "Uhh". Then, almost as if she were made to feel comfortable or something she sighs "Oooh"...and that's all I heard.

Now I am in the next room! What do I do!? I had crawled to the middle of the room in an attempt to find a weapon, or camera to get proof or something, but I was helpless against whatever this thing was. I basically expected that I was next and waited for my fate. Now assume some of you are wondering "Why didn't he scream?" Well, like I felt at the beginning when something told me to shut up and get in bed, I could feel that it would be a bad idea to scream and make my presence and non-cooperation known, so I stayed silent.

The orb went over my room but did not signal. It must have seen that I was not asleep and moved past me to the next room. I actually don't recall if it went into the room on the other side of me or not...but around this time, the guy who prepared breakfast and stuff for the lodge, turned on the generators so he could make breakfast. Right when he does this, I hear the same beeps as I did at the beginning of the experience, and all the beings are GONE. Everyone starts to wake up at the same exact time.

Now I'm wondering...when I go outside, are some of the people in the group going to be missing? Dead? Zombified??

I step outside and go into the group room and most of the group is already in there, COMPLETELY F*CKING NORMAL. Nobody else even realized anything had happened. So I can't just start screaming "WHAT THE F*CK JUST HAPPENED?" They would all think I was MAD! So I started questioning everyone one at a time..."Hey so, how did you sleep last night? Did you hear anything?" EVERY SINGLE PERSON SAID THEY SLEPT THE WHOLE NIGHT THROUGH!!! Out of 20 people, not one person got up to drink water. Not one person got up to go to the bathroom. NOT EVEN ONE PERSON WAS SNORING! The next night I heard people doing all of those things!

The only thing I can think is that they had some sort of trance put on them to keep them asleep, and I somehow wasn't affected.

One person said they woke up in the middle of the night and felt VERY DAZED. They looked at the clock and it was 3am, but out her curtain, she said it looked like broad daylight...and she agreed that something strange took place. The rest of the trip things were completely fine!

WARNING! ALIENS Cannot Be Trusted!

The following report details an event that occurred Friday morning at 3:56 AM on 2017-07-06. It was reported to the MUFON CMS soon afterward. It warns about certain 'aliens that cannot be trusted.'

Plymouth, Minnesota - 2017-07-06: Going to bathroom at 3:56am when I happened to look up through sky light. I saw light/object on path very quickly flying north. What caught my eye was the sudden turn to the northeast. This is the second one in two nights. I know immediately what they are. It then suddenly disappeared. I have had multiple abductions since I was a child. I can tell you about seeing more than 5 different entities on a huge ship. I was taken around the ship and shown many things by a tall hybrid female who very strangely looked like me. I am aware of when they will come and when they will take me. They have taken my husband and children. They have little recollection. I have had many that I remember. The one in charge of the ship I was on last, was nearly 9 1/2 at least ft. tall. white robe, very thin, long white hair and facial hair. He glowed & sparkled as if lit up from within. So being able to see them just happens. I have made a report to someone there (MUFON), but nothing ever happened. I must tell you I will see them again and again, but have been allowed selective memories.

I have much more details about the various abductions. They are getting ready for something big. Told me that our governments are dealing with a type of alien that cannot be trusted & are concerned for us as they have been watching over us (so to speak) since many, many years ago. I see sightings often. It is almost as if I have a connection and I feel close to them. I tried a hypnotist but he wasn't very good. - MUFON

BTW, the following is a previous report from the same town. Not sure it is the same witness:

Plymouth, Minnesota - 2006-07-28: I was sleeping around 8:00pm and I noticed a hum outside of my window. It was the extra terrestrials on their ship aiming to come down to me. They stunned me with a red laser as they flew into my bedroom. The leading extra terrestrial, known as Zorbaq, shot my eyebrow center on my head with a stun laser and it caused me to stay laying down. Then the female lead of extra terrestrial said lets take him to Jupiter. Then a light went in to my window and picked me up with the aliens holding me to go to the bottom of the ship where I was inside a window. They then drove me around the world in less than 2 hours. They showed me some spacecrafts shooting lasers at each other. Then the ship drove me down over a town with big houses that each had a large wall and fence around their yard. The ship slowed down and I said to the extra terrestrials psychically, I want to stay riding on the ship, they said "no, you must get back to the people, we hope we have made you more refreshed and stronger for your position on the planet that you rule." They laid me down on to my bed and 2 minutes later I woke up fully and gasped for fresh air. I was tired. I told no one about it seeing that they probably would have a hard time contemplating it. - MUFON

NOTE: At least 12 UFO/entity sightings have been reported to MUFON from the Plymouth, Minnesota area in the past 18 years. There have been a total of 12 reports from Plymouth, Minnesota made to NUFORC in its entire database.

The following report originated from the Plymouth, Minnesota area and was made to another agency:

I was walking West on 45th Ave. in Plymouth, MN which is a western suburb of Minneapolis. The time was approximately 8:30pm (November 1990). I was lonely, I was depressed, and I was cold. Suddenly, I found myself standing in a beam of very white light. Almost like standing under an overhead spot light on a stage. I looked up and was blinded by the source. I looked down, shielded my eyes with my hand and looked up again, this time with my hand blocking the source of light. I saw the silhouette of a large black disc about 25 feet in diameter with an aperture in the center. The object was slightly north of me, hovering silently above the ground about 30 or 35 feet. The beam was emanating from the aperture. It moved into a position immediately over me, and I recall a deep "voice" coming from all around me. I didn't really say any words, but it had the feel of a voice. Then, I somehow was lifted off the ground, and began "floating" towards the light. The chronology of my recollections ends here, but I remember laying flat on a table or bench with a pair of eyes looking at me from head to toe and back again.

The next thing I remember, I found myself walking East on 45th Ave. I was relaxed, warm, and surprisingly very happy. Figuring it took me only another 5 or 10 minutes to run home, and considering that I arrived home just after 11pm, I cannot "offically" account for about 2 hours and 20 minutes of that evening.

I'm not sure I believe it all myself, but that is what I remember. And since I am a firm believer in ETs, I am beginning to think that maybe something DID really happen and I didn't just imagine all of this. However, recently the dreams have been turning into nightmares and I think I am afraid to undergo hypnosis and verify any of my recollections.

(PHOTOS) Truck Driver Approached by ARMED REPTILIAN Near Yuma, Arizona!

Truck driver RB details his bizarre encounter with an armed Reptilian outside of Yuma, Arizona in 2002. He offers photos and sketches as well.

“I'm RB. I'm up in Lancaster, California. I'm a Vietnam veteran. I was in NATO for six years in Germany. After the military I went to truck driving school and became a truck driver for 20 years. This incident happened the last year I was driving a truck. It happened on May 7, 2002 at approximately 4:30 in the morning on Interstate 8 exit 140 in Arizona. I just picked up a load of produce in Yuma, Arizona. I left Yuma, Arizona and I had to take a whizz. So I pulled off the road and stopped at exit 140 on Interstate 8. I pulled off the exit ramp there and I had my high beams on and I noticed a figure to the left side of the exit ramp, a tall dark figure on the left side of the exit ramp, so I went to the right side of the exit ramp, slowed down, stopped and turned off my headlights. I could see a large humanoid figure standing there holding a carcass of some sort in its hand. It dropped the carcass on the ground, turned around and looked at me for 4 or 5 seconds and then started walking over towards my truck. I said, Holy F***! I locked the door on my truck. Made sure it was locked and it was approaching the window of my truck. It stopped about 2 feet from the window of my truck. Its head was as high as the window of my truck. I'm driving a conventional so the window is about 7 feet off the ground. The head of this being was slightly above the head of the window. So it had to be at least 7 feet tall, 7 foot 2. That vicinity.

So I reached up and grabbed my camera out of the storage department and turned the camera towards the window and it was looking at me through the window. Just as I was moving the camera over, it turned on a bright light right at my face. It was so bright I couldn't look at it, so I took my camera and flashed a picture at it. The being, creature, stepped back as if slightly startled for a second. Then it kinda gave me an oddball grinning expression, looked at me a couple more seconds, turned its head and when it turned its head, I got a real good look at its profile, of its skull and head and it had started walking away along the left front of my truck.

As it was walking away, I turned on my headlights and I got a real good look at its backside and its legs and then I saw what it was walking towards. At that time, the sun was starting to peek out over the top of the mountains. There was enough light that I could see a large black object sitting in an empty parking lot next to the exit ramp. It walked up to the large black object. It just disappeared inside. I didn't see how it got inside. Then I turned on my spotlight, I could see some of the texture of the outside of this - it looked like the side wall of a tomb is what it looked like. Then it started to rise up off the ground. Made no sound. It got up about 10 to 15 feet above the ground. The vehicle vetted out some red stuff. I could see red stuff shooting out from the back and sides. Then I could see it was a triangle shape. I could see underneath it and it had three tiny marker lights on each corner of the triangle, dull red light in the middle. It accelerated away and was out of sight in about 3 seconds. When it had rose up, it was silhouetted against the morning sun. It was making the sky bright enough to see it was a triangle shaped vehicle. I had never seen anything like it.

So what happened is, I waited about 5 minutes when I knew the being and the vehicle was gone. I unlocked the door. I had my camera with me. I had 5 pictures left on the camera. Got out of the truck and walked across the street of the exit ramp to see what this being had dropped on the side of the exit ramp and when I got over there I shined the flashlight on it. I was surprised that it was a carcass of some kind. Looking at the hooves, I could tell it was a deer. The deer's head was bit clean off and it had discolored fur around its neck. The inside of the deer, the chest cavity, was all completely removed. Its internal organs were all ripped out to the back of the spine. The internal cavity was burned out.” RB

NOTE: He goes on to say that for a couple of months afterward, he would travel back and forth from New York to Yuma and would observe similar-looking deer and animal carcasses along that same exit ramp. He photographed all of them. Lon
