Bigfoot, Black Bear...or Something Else? Northern New Jersey Encounter

A Vernon, New Jersey resident recounts an encounter with an unknown bipoed at night with another witness. Was it a black bear or something else?

The following account was recently posted on social media:

This takes place in my hometown of Vernon, New Jersey in 2009. The town is near the northern tip of NJ in the Appalachian Mountains, and borders New York state.

I was 17 at the time and at a party at a friend's home. The town is very large and divided up into different communities (most lake based) but one my friend’s house was in was called Old Orchard. It was more development-like than a typical neighborhood, but was up a steep hill with lots of woods around it. It was a summer evening so we spent our time outside in their backyard. Some people were drinking, but myself and the another witness were not.

The backyard had a thin tree line dividing it from the lot behind it, and with leaves on the trees it was thick enough to block your view from the yard. Well, after dark I went through the tree line and into the next lot with someone. We walked the few steps through the trees and they sat with their back to the tree line facing the lot, which was a large upward sloping hill with a single tree in the center with maybe 100 yards from us. The lot was bordered on the right by a road with a streetlight that partially illuminated the area, and to the left there were similar tree lines bordering other properties.

After sitting and talking for awhile we both fell quiet when we heard something. It was just for a moment but it sounded like sniffing, like the sound a dog makes with its nose to the ground searching for something. I was facing the tree line bordering my friend’s backyard. We could clearly hear everyone in the yard carrying on only feet away, the sniffing sound didn’t continue. I glanced around behind me into the lot, saw nothing, and we continued talking.

To preface the rest of the story I want to note that northern New Jersey has a large black bear population, and in my town it was very common to see them in your yard, crossing the road, or even have them break into your home in search of food. Combine that with being someone who spent a lot of time outside and in the woods, I know what a bear looks like and how it moves and sounds. And I know what other large predators are in the area. And what I saw was none of these things.

So some time passes, long enough to forget about the phantom sniffing. Then I hear it again, and the other person does as well. It’s the same nose to the ground, sniffing out prey type of sound. And it is LOUD and seemingly coming from all around us. We can still hear the party going on, and as loud as the sniffing is they don’t seem to notice it. I look at the person I’m with and they are frozen, with their eyes locked on something ahead of them. I turn and face into the lot, as the sniffing continues, and under the tree I see the large dark outline of something. It was shaped like a bear, but larger, standing about six feet on all fours. It’s head is down to the ground and it is sniffing around under the tree, but it still makes no sense that we would be able to hear it at all from where we were, let alone how loud it was. Then it moves forward, and that’s when I am certain it’s not an animal I am familiar with, because it puts its two front legs out first, and then it’s back legs shuffle forward in one motion like a rabbit or a kangaroo.

I didn’t watch for very long, but enough to see it keep shuffling forward like that a few more times, the whole time it’s head is to the ground, sniffing as loud as it was breathing in our ears. Again it was only bright enough to see as a silhouette, but it appeared to have fur. I had a strong feeling that it could feel me looking at it, and if I kept watching it would notice me. And I did not want that to happen. The person and I locked eyes, grabbed each other’s hand and bolted back into the yard.

No one else noticed, most were too drunk to even know we had been gone. It was late and I convinced some people to go inside to the living room to sleep. Other people stayed out in the yard in tents, but no one mentioned anything weird the next morning. We didn’t tell anyone what had happened during the party, and the reason the other witness is ‘someone’ and not my friend is because they were really just an acquaintance I met and was trying to hook up with. I never saw them again. I don’t even know their last name. I to want to contact them and ask about it. And we didn’t speak of it with each other while at the party either.

Northern New Jersey is supposed to have a Bigfoot type cryptid called Big Red Eye. And the Jersey Devil of course. But I don’t really think it fits. I posted this story once before on an old account and I was told it was a dogman, but that also doesn’t seem to fit. I’ve had a lot of paranormal experiences in my life, but this is the only ‘cryptid’ type I’ve ever had. I's like to know what it was, but I got the distinct feeling it was something I was not supposed to see." DW

NOTE: The area has had some Bigfoot activity over the years. It is an area that has a very large black bear population, and a history of at least one black bear seen walking as a biped on numerous occasions. What are your thoughts? Lon

Possible Reptilian Shapeshifter Encountered on Small Town Street

A Colusa, California witness describes their encounter with an Asian man on several nights, eventually culminating in a final incident when this man had transformed into a supposed Reptilian being.

The following report was an updated incident originally reported to MUFON:

Colusa, California

July 28, 2014

"My dog and I used to sit out on the door step at night and watch this gigantic white owl that would make this clicking sound like "clock, clock, clock, clock." It would roost in a huge oak tree across the street.

Anyway, I saw an Asian man walking up the sidewalk at around 3 AM, smoking a cigarette by holding it under, European style, and one arm behind his back. As he passed me he nodded, and so I nodded back. I thought it strange being so late. He walked around the corner and was gone.

A week Later, my dog and I saw the same Asian man, appear in the same place, a block and a half to the east, smoking his cigarette in a weird way. This time when he walked by, he smiled and said very softly and meekly "hello" and bowed his head, and I returned the same, "hello", and bowed my head. His hard sole shoes would make a clatter in the still of the night, in this small rural farming town, virtually no one was out.

A week after that, I slept with the double front doors open into my studio apartment for ventilation and listening to crickets and bullfrogs. At around 3 AM I heard the sound of the Asian man walking closer as he got to my door. He then stopped, and turned and looked in at me laying on my mattress on the floor. This time he had a hooded jacket, and a Reptilian face. We both just starred at each other for about 10 seconds. I was examining his face and noticed that he had eye sockets, but no eyes. He had a brow ridge and small slit for a mouth. The scales look that of a snake and had a bluish black color to it. He turned and continued walking, but wasn't smoking a cigarette this time, though he had the same walking sound, clattering and faded away.

Intense Upright Canine Encounter at Grandma's House in Middletown, Maryland

In the early 1960s there was a slew of upright canine sightings and encounters in Frederick County, Maryland. This particular account was offered by the actual witness over 50 years later.

The following personal account was offered by the witness, who was assisting the Pennsylvania Lycan Investigations team:

"I am not making an official report because it was so long ago, and I have always brushed this incident off. At the time I was only about 8-11 years old, and I can't recall what year exactly (1960-1963) since this was many years ago and nobody believed me since I was a kid. I was spending the summer at my Grandma's house on Shank Rd. in Middletown, MD (Frederick Co.)...as I had for a couple of years in a row. I welcomed the summers I spent with grandma...except for the darn outhouse. If I had to go at night, I was a nuisance having to take Grandma with me which meant waking her up. It was an awful part of being there.

One late night I had to get up to use the outhouse, and it was stark black outside. No lamp posts or outdoor lighting lined the main lane. Grandma had electricity, but it was only for the house inside, oven, and appliances. She had a TV, a very old floor model and nobody watched it anyway, since there was not much TV on the Maryland airwaves back in the early 1960s. It had to be like 3 am when I ventured outside. I didn't take a flashlight and I didn't want to wake Grandma up for finding the flashlight or for her to walk me to the outhouse.

The outhouse was located far from the main grouping of structures on the property and the main house...for obvious reasons. It was not a full moon, more like a half moon that night, but enough night time illumination in the sky that my eyes adjusted quickly to see the grounds. I could easily navigate my way using Grandmas long and narrow flower garden as a guiding trail. My biggest fear was of black snakes & copper heads because I was warned constantly to look out for them.

I made it down to the outhouse and don't even remember hearing the usual night noises like crickets or owls, it seemed almost too quiet. I was a sharp and smart kid with a great imagination, but not enough to make this story up. I felt an uncanny sensation of being watched and I started to get scared. I left the outhouse, peeked outside first, and for some reason I wanted to run back to the house, getting to safety as quickly as possible. It was a rough and long run and I tired quickly and began walking the last few hundred feet to the porch of the house. Something told me to look back where I had been...to this day I wished I hadn't.

What I saw was an impossible sight. This animal stepping through the backyard of Grandma's property, just past the garden about ten feet past the outhouse. It was this upright furry creature with a dog-wolf head! I have owned German Shepherds from the age of 7 so the head was almost similar to the ears and snoot of a German Shepherd dog. I stopped dead in my tracks, not believing my eyes because it was impossible! It had arms that had claw-like hands that hung out in front of it. As it turned its head and looked right at me, the eyes looked yellow and super reflective. Chills shot up my spine as it quickly walked on two legs (that looked like real dog legs bending backwards) traveling from left to right, past her garden, into the old, gravel lane, then across into the thicket of the woods where it disappeared. I heard the rustling through the weeds. It may have initially traveled from the usually full cow pasture that was up an incline, past the spring, and up to the cow pasture that was behind Grandmas house. I shudder to think it was hiding behind the outhouse I was in, but that is a distinct possibility as well!

Ever since that night, after being teased of the cliche of seeing the 'big bad wolf at Grandmas house,' nobody believed me and thought I made up the story for attention, like the imaginary friend syndrome of kids. From those teasing me, I just put it all behind me, buried the story forever, and never told another human being this tale until now. I just turned 62 years old this year, and it am sharing this tale with you now. Like I said, it's too late now to submit an official report, I can't even remember which year it occurred, but I will never forget that creature until the day I die!" A

In Part II of this series, we examine just how the residents of Blythe and Desert Center, California, felt about the massive presence of the flying saucers over their fair communities.  Back in 1955, New York’s Bluebook magazine investigative reporter, Paul C. Benard, was the first on the scene to solicit the opinions of the denizens of Southern California’s Colorado Desert with respect to the elusive objects in their midst that had so attracted the world’s attention to their area.  Frankly, even in 2020, both Blythe and Desert Center continue to serve as huge draws for the burgeoning UFO tourism industry.

KYOR Radio and the Flying Saucer Connection

Reporter Benard was looking to speak with someone “in the know” about flying saucer sightings in eastern Riverside County, and who better than John M. Wages, the manager of Blythe’s then sole radio station, KYOR. Benard had written to Wages and told him that he would be coming out to the Colorado Desert for the purpose of finding out about flying saucer sightings in the area and asking the radio station manager if he could provide him with a few leads and perhaps introduce him around the community.  Benard’s first stop would be meeting with other employees of KYOR Radio.

When Benard first arrived in Blythe, he went directly to the radio station.  He was greeted by Wages, who pumped his hand, inquiring, “How are you?  It’s nice to see you.  But what in hell have you got me into?”  The station manager further added that, “I got your letter; and I thought I would give you a hand.  I put an item on the air last night, saying that if anyone had definite ideas about the saucers, they could contact you here at the station.  Well, they sure as hell contacted!”

It turns out that Paul Lyman, one of KYOR’s announcers, was alone in the radio station when the pitch went out over the air; and for the next two hours, KYOR’s telephone lines were jammed.  “I knew people were interested,” said Lyman, “but I didn’t know they were that interested.”  

Bernard wondered what Lyman thought about flying saucers, and asked him as much.  “Well,” the announcer hedged, “I don’t really know.  But when everybody, including the government, gets so worked up about something, it can’t be nothing!”  

The Bluebook magazine reporter also spoke with KYOR’s continuity chief, Robin Hill, who was more definite about the flying saucers.  “Don’t ask me what they are,” he asserted, “but one thing is certain:  they sure as hell are.”  

Even Mrs. Wages opined on the flying saucer craze sweeping the desert communities.  “No matter where you go,” she said, “the talk always comes around to saucers.”  She explained that even local service clubs were inviting UFO “authorities” to come and speak at their luncheons; and a local minister devoted his Sunday sermon to the whys and wherefores of the saucers’ arrival.  The wife of the radio station manager also noted that the science classes at Blythe High School devoted much of their time to studying UFOs and the possibility of intelligent life existing on other planets.  There was a group of teachers and students that met every two weeks to study recent sightings and flying saucer reports from throughout the area.  

John M. Wages affirmed what his wife stated about the enthusiasm for UFO research being generated at the local high school.  He pointed out to Benard that, “George Wixom, the science teacher, has even organized a citizens’ committee; and they have scheduled a meeting at the high school auditorium to hear a tape recording by an aircraft worker who he says he’s made several contacts with saucers.”  Wages added that, “If you want to study reactions, stick around for that meeting; and if your schedule is not too full, Mrs. Wages wants to take you out to Desert Center to see where Adamski says he met the man from Venus.”

Benard spent an entire day with John M. Wages at the radio station, even staying with him as he put KYOR’s broadcast operations to bed for the night.  Wages introduced the reporter to literally all of the station personnel, the last one being a part-time station employee, Bill Tucker.  This gentleman’s full-time, day job was working as a Civil Aeronautics Administration engineer, so if anyone would be knowledgeable about the maneuvering and operational characteristics of the flying saucers, this would be the “Johnny on the Spot,” so to speak.  

No sooner did Benard tell Tucker why he was in Blythe, that the aeronautics engineer was ready with an amazing flying saucer story:

“A buddy of mine up in Elko, Nevada, spotted three UFOs cruising along beside his plane; and he took photos.  I helped him develop them.  We figured the saucers were 30 to 50 feet in diameter and flying about 100 feet from his plane.”  Tucker related that he and his friend notified the Air Force Intelligence in San Francisco, California, and an officer flew out to Elko the very next day.  The Air Force investigative officer looked at the UFO photos and said they were nothing.  “But before he left,” noted Tucker, “he confiscated the prints and negatives and suggested that we forget the whole thing.”  The aeronautics engineer smiled wryly and commented, “Tell me, really, how does a guy forget nothing?”

Alien Abduction Incidents: Experimentation & Continued Close Encounters

The following alien abduction accounts were forwarded to me in recent years. They were originally sent to MUFON or NUFORC. The first experiencer later contacted me.

I was inside my house, which was just outside of Boise, Idaho, reading a book when I heard a roaring sound overhead. It was an October 2016 evening, around 9 PM. I went outside to check and saw this bright, white ship that was about 120 feet wide with reddish-orange lights - all of which were extremely bright and flashed in a sequence. It was just floating there, I thought the sound was a thunderclap, but I guess I was wrong. It landed about 80 feet away from me, and I saw a door open, and humanoid aliens stepped out of the ship.

When the aliens saw me, they came towards me. I tried to escape, but they ended up being too fast for me to outrun them. They must have knocked me out, because I woke up naked, strapped to some sort of examination table, which had a lot of sharp devices around it. One of the aliens came up to the table and picked up what looked like a syringe with a very large needle. The alien stuck the needle in my right thigh, and that was when everything became a blur. The alien was doing some sort of full-body examination, but when he was done, he knocked me out again.

I woke up back on my lawn, clothed and clean, and with a device in my hand. The device contained a clip of one of the aliens speaking. I went inside to make sure they did not do anything more than an examination. When I was checking myself, I found this very long scar going down my entire right side, from just below my armpit all the way to my ankle. I am now genuinely afraid for my life, and every time I go somewhere, I have to look to the skies to make sure the aliens are not stalking me.

It started in 1974 in Long Beach, California. They came into my room though the wall. I was very young at the time. We move to the Hudson Valley, NY in 1976. I saw a UFO that changed shape while flying. I started to be taken and told my parents. They offered no help. They made it worse when they told me it was a witch.

In the 1980s, I saw a big UFO over Mohawk Mountain house. For a few years I would wake at 3:30 AM with bloody nose. In 1987 I was taken. That is when I saw the guy on the History Channel and remember from the ship. During 2014-2016 I experienced several abductions,

During that period I fell off my bike and landed on my ribs. I was taken to the emergency room and was told that my ribs were not broken. I went home, but suddenly blacked out in my bedroom. I woke up at 3:30 AM feeling terrible. Suddenly the aliens appeared and told me that my core body temperature was 69. I think I had died and that they saved me.

This continues to this day. I need to talk to some one ASAP. I'm afraid that I will eventually be taken for good.

Alien Encounter / Lost Time in Norfolk, Virginia Residence

The following account was originally reported to MUFON. I was later contacted by the experiencer. There are specific similarities to other abduction cases I've worked on:

"I was in my room getting ready to go to sleep. It was exactly 1:47 AM. I know this because, after looking at my alarm clock, I told myself that I was still going to be able to get up early despite the time. I was sitting on my bed. Then the next thing I know is that I'm walking from my kitchen to the bathroom. I remember thinking to myself, "why was I in the kitchen?" I didn't have food or anything in my hands.

On the way down the hall to the bathroom I passed my bedroom door and as I walked past I looked in the room, took 2 more steps, then stepped backward and looked in the room again. There 'it' was standing in front of my patio door, almost as tall as the door. I froze and my jaw dropped.

It turned its head, looked at me and vanished threw the door. I shook my head and went to the bathroom. When I walked back into the bedroom I looked at the clock and it was a few minutes after 3 AM. I sat on the bed and tried to recall walking to my kitchen or what I had been doing this whole time but, couldn't remember anything except a strange bracelet. I felt compelled to draw the creature and the bracelet in hopes to clear my mind and get some sleep.

I told my husband about this in the morning. That's when we noticed the stand, on which I have my heavy jewelry box, had been pushed away from the wall right where the creature had been standing.

My husband and I felt that the stand, having been moved, was extremely odd. There would be no reason for us to have done it nor would either of us do it at random.

My husband also recalled having slept heavier then normal that night.

Though many things of this nature have occurred throughout my life I have never spoken out about them for fear of ridicule. I have many experiences but only recently began to document what I remember as it happens currently. I hope by sharing this I can inspire others to come forward, or spark a memory of a similar event in someone else." Name withheld

UFO and Cryptid Encounters Active in Pennsylvania During 2020 Despite the COVID-19 Scare

I have discussed in my past writings that 2018 was quite active in Pennsylvania with reports of UFO sightings and encounters with Bigfoot, various cryptids and other strange creatures and unusual occurrences.

The 2019 year continued to be busy with some detailed reports concerning UFO and cryptid incidents. Reports of these strange encounters continued to be reported throughout 2020, even though many people had the COVID-19 situation on their minds.

The year 2020 signified my 61 years of research investigating UFOs, Bigfoot and other mysterious incidents that were reported from Pennsylvania. I have been taking sighting reports from the public since 1969, and the calls continue to come in during each year along with many email reports. It still surprises many people that I have never seen a UFO or even a Bigfoot during my many journeys through the woodlands and forests of the Keystone state. Although my focus is on cases reported from Pennsylvania, I also receive unusual sighting reports from neighboring states and from across the country.

During 2020, some UFO sightings were apparently misidentifications of natural or man-made objects such as the bright planets Venus and Jupiter, luminous meteors, aircraft towing advertising signs, sky lanterns and Starlink satellite observations. There were even some interesting weather-related reports such as sightings of ice pillars.

Sightings of UFOs of various shapes such as spheres, triangles, rectangles, and elongated cigar shaped were reported throughout the year. Encounters with smaller spheres of light seen at close range were also observed. I have referred to those smaller objects for many years as mini-UFOs. I talked with first and secondhand witnesses concerning Bigfoot and other cryptid encounters. There were also reports of mystery booms from various locations.

The following are some of the interesting cases that came to my attention during 2020.

*January 15-A motorist looking toward Latrobe observed a large object in the sky that looks like two large aircraft side by side. About the same time, there was a report of a loud boom that shook the area around Latrobe.

*January 23-At 7:35 AM, a man traveling northbound on Route 79 near the Lone Pine exit in Washington County observed a gray triangular object moving east to west below the cloud layer. There was one very bright light that appeared to be at the front of the object and looked like a huge bright blue-white LED. The witness could make out the shape of the object and described it as triangular and thick and like the design of a stealth bomber. There were no navigational lights on the object. The driver slowed down to get a better look at the object, but it suddenly just vanished from sight and was not seen again.

*January-Armstrong County-A resident reported strange spheres of light near her property. For many years numerous area residents have been reporting UFO and Bigfoot activity in this area.

*February-Dan Hageman of the BORU research group received numerous sighting reports of cylindrical and egg-shaped objects around Butler County. One report involved a cylinder-shaped object moving at a fast speed that came to a sudden stop in a split second. A sphere then emitted from the cylinder and  the two objects moved off in different directions.

*February 28- Two witnesses watching the moon near Blairsville reported observing a sphere of light surrounded by four smaller lights. They watched the object for a few minutes. They turned away from the object for a short time and when they looked back the object and lights were gone. They checked an app to see if any aircraft were flying in the area and none were indicated at that time.

*March 8- Hikers on a trail near Rector reported hearing a strange loud noise that they could not explain. They got close to the area where it seemed to originate from but found no source. The sound appeared to follow them for a distance then suddenly just stopped.

*March 8- A resident of the Laurel Highlands reported a small gray sphere about two feet in diameter floating around in the house. (I have investigated numerous incidents involving “mini-UFOs” since the 1960s.)

*March 24- A short trail of small footprints were seen in the wet ground in Derry Township in the vicinity of the Chestnut Ridge. The tracks were 8-10 inches long and about 3-4 inches wide. One of the tracks had a clear impression of just three toes. Both right and left tracks were observed. (Over the years larger five and three toed footprints have been found near this area and elsewhere. There have been similar smaller footprints also found around the ridge area and surrounding locations in past years.)

*March 27- This took place in a rural area of the Laurel Highlands. During the afternoon, a man had entered a garage building through a door that had been left open. Suddenly a large animal approached from the back of the building and past the man from 10 feet away. The witness was sure that what he saw could only be described as a black panther. The body of the huge feline was about 3-3 ½ feet long and the witness estimated the weight at about 50-80 pounds. The jet-black animal ran out the door and into the nearby woods. The witness could hear the loud sound of its paws hitting the ground as though galloping as it ran past him.

*March- Spheres of light have been showing up on security cameras from fields on a property in Fayette County where for several years various mysterious events have been observed by different witnesses. There have been reports of strange cries and howls, odd footprints, Bigfoot sightings and other paranormal experiences reported. Other strange activity has also been reported by other residents in the same general area.

*April- During this month, information was obtained from various sources concerning various phenomena that had been reported. Bigfoot researcher Eric Altman received reports of odd vocalizations heard on the Derry side of the Chestnut Ridge. Triangular shaped objects and lights in triangular formations were reportedly seen in Cambria and Indiana counties. A mystery boom was reportedly felt by many people in Westmoreland County. Other reports of loud booms have been reported from various locations earlier in the year.

*May 16- A group of people near Williamsport, saw two objects in the northeast rise from the ground about 30 seconds apart and from two different locations. The first object was about the size of a dime in the sky and emitted a bright orange glow and silent. The glow suddenly went out and a jet-black shape that looked somewhat like a stealth bomber moved steadily across the sky toward the east. The second object also moved across the sky and was lost from sight in the distance.

*May 27- a witness was outside and getting some fresh air. The incident took place a few miles away from Donegal. The witness was watching some deer in a field across the road. It was dark, but there was some illumination around the field. The deer were suddenly frightened by something and they ran from the area. It was moments later that the witness saw a tall dark humanoid figure that appeared to be over 6 feet tall.

The figure itself was very dark and the arms were bent and did not swing as it moved. The movement of the figure was unusual as it did not seem to be running but rather gliding across the field. It moved extremely fast crossing about 75 yards in about 10 seconds. Whatever it was moved out of sight and was not seen again. The witness did not know what was seen but was sure that it was not human.

*May 27- Three witnesses traveling during daylight on a bumpy road in a rural area of Cambria county observe something large lying down about 120 feet ahead of them. They were quite surprised to see that it was a black panther that rose from the ground, looked directly at them, then ran up a hill by a high-tension power line. The animal was described as jet black in color, with a body 4-5 feet long and at least a 3 feet long tail.

*June 10- It was sunny and warm during the morning when a man riding near Derry in Westmoreland county saw a huge black animal in a field that he was certain was a black panther. When he first saw it, the animal was about 80-100 yards away. The body looked to be about 4 feet long. The tail was about 3 feet long and all black.

The witness watched the animal for a short time then decided to drive down the road a short distance to get a friend to come back to the field with him so he could confirm what he was seeing. When they returned to the location of the sighting the huge feline was still there in the field at a distance. They stopped the vehicle and ran through the field. The one fellow had his camera and was preparing to take a picture. The animal never looked at them but took off along the tree line and moved away before the man could get his picture.

*June- From outside of Pittsburgh, loud whoops were heard emanating from a heavily wooded location.  Large trees have reportedly been falling in that same area as well. This is the general area where others have reported odd sounds and Bigfoot sightings have been reported in the last few years. During June in Fayette county where Bigfoot sightings have been reported for many years, sounds of breaking branches, high pitched whistling and loud whoops were heard.

*June 25- A resident was taking pictures of a beautiful sunset not far from Murrysville. The witness saw in the distance what appeared to be a jet liner that just suddenly appeared. The man ran for his camera thinking that it would make a nice picture. As he continued to watch he realized that the shape of the jet looked odd. He quickly realized that there were two separate dark objects that were flying very close together but not at the same altitude. The object in front seemed to be slightly higher than the second one.

The objects looked like two cylinders that were like a fuselage with no wings. They were dark, offset, and silent. The second object had what appeared to be a vertical tail section. There were no navigational lights on either object. The objects were only seen for seconds as they entered the tip of a slender cloud.

The photographer grabbed his 35mm camera to prepare it to take a picture of the objects when they exited the cloud. The man stood there for 20 minutes, but the objects were never seen again, and the cloud faded away. A search of a flight App found no indication of any aircraft crossing the area at the time of the sighting.

*July 11- Irwin-A man taking his dog for a leisurely walk that evening was interrupted by the sound of several dogs barking loud and running down the road. That situation concerned the man, so he took his dog inside, grabbed a flashlight and went back outside to look around. He looked toward the northwest and observed a large circular glowing red object that was rising from the ground about a mile away. As he watched, the object moved east then turned southeast and moved in his direction.

The object moved steadily while maintaining the same altitude and approached as close as 5-6 houses away and was only about 200 feet off the ground. The object was completely silent. The man did not have his phone with him to take a picture. The witness said the object looked to be about 20-30 feet in diameter and about the size of a small house. There was a pulsating red glow emitting from the object.

While the object had a definitive shape, it appeared to be semi-transparent. One section of the object seemed to be darker in color than the other areas, and what looked like circuit board lines were going through some sections of the object. The object was about to pass over the man when he was distracted by the sound of more dogs approaching and barking loudly. The man turned away and when he looked back, the object was overhead but had risen to about 1,000 feet high. The object moved off toward the east but was blocked by trees as moved further in the distance.

*June-July- Reports of strange incidents were received from various sources. I received secondhand accounts of Bigfoot encounters. Near Monessen, a resident reported seeing a massive black bird flapping its wings very slowly over the river. There have been several Thunderbird sightings in that area in past years. UFO sightings were reported from various locations across the state. Strange footprints were reported near Mount Pleasant.

*August- A hiker walking through the woods in Jefferson county during the afternoon saw something that baffled him. About 100-200 feet in the distance, he noticed a very tall figure standing between two trees. The area was very dense and not close to public access. As he continued to watch, he realized that what he was seeing was not a human, deer, or a black bear. The creature moved slightly then took off running extremely fast down a hillside to its left and did not come near the witness.

The witness stated that the creature ran faster than any human could possibly run. Even stranger, he did not hear any sound as it moved through the foliage and rocks. The creature looked to be about 8-10 feet tall, and the general shape of the figure was distinct. The arms and legs were narrow, and the arms appeared to be bent at about a 20-degree angle and held out straight. The arms did not swing as it moved. The witness also mentioned that the entire time he watched the creature it looked as though it was out of focus. This account has some similarity to the incident reported near Donegal on May 27th.

*August 30- A man and his wife were taking an afternoon scenic drive and were close to the Pennsylvania/ Maryland border. This is in the vicinity where Fayette and Somerset counties in Pennsylvania connect with Maryland. The husband was driving and was startled when his wife suddenly stated that she believed she had seen a Bigfoot several miles back as they were driving.

He asked her why she did not say anything when she saw it. She indicated that she was so shocked by what she saw that she could not speak. The woman told me during our interview that she was looking out the passenger window when she saw a tall and thin hair covered creature walking near a power line. It was only about 40 feet away and she watched as it took two steps and moved into the woods.

The creature never looked toward the vehicle. She said the creature was 6-7 feet tall and thin. The head was somewhat oval shaped. The side of the face looked somewhat ape-like in appearance. The body was covered in dark brown hair. It walked upright and had very long arms that hung down to the kneecaps. Her husband turned the car around and went back to the area of the sighting, but the creature was not there. His wife told me she is certain of what she saw and stated, “Now I believe it.”

*September- Residents in Armstrong county reported loud screams and howls coming from the woods during the early morning hours. The dogs in the area appeared very upset at the time. Up on the Derry side of the Chestnut ridge, loud and long whoops were heard and a tree was reportedly seen shaking. A tall creature was seen moving in the distance through a series of bushes in Fayette county.

*October- Lon Strickler from the excellent Phantoms & Monsters website received a report from a man who reportedly had a Bigfoot encounter during the first week of October 2020, in Bald Eagle State Park. The creature was described as standing at least 8 feet tall and covered in dark brown hair. *October 7- Monroeville- On the evening of October 7, 2020, a witness was on her back deck when she noticed some movement from the corner of her left eye in the sky. As the witness continued to watch she realized that she was seeing a huge oversized bird that was completely gray in color. She said the best way to describe the size of the creature was comparing it to a hawk but about five times that size. The woman estimated that the wingspan was about 14-15 feet from tip to tip. She was not able to determine if the body was covered with feathers. The flying creature was about 40 feet over the top of some trees about 15-20 feet away from the house.

*November 10- Natrona Heights- During the afternoon, a witness reported seeing a cylinder-shaped object that appeared to be solid with a slight dome at the top. The object was white in color, and no lights or windows were observed. The object moved steadily toward the northwest.

*November 26- (Maryland) It was during the nice sunny morning of Thanksgiving Day that a motorist saw something quite unusual. That witness was traveling east not far from Princess Anne, Maryland when the incident occurred. The driver observed what appeared to be an oversized bird about 50-70 yards away standing in the middle of the road on the opposite side. The driver of the vehicle pulled off the road and got out of the vehicle to have a better look.

The creature did not seem to realize that it was being observed and did not look toward the witness. The giant bird was estimated to stand at least 4 feet tall. The entire creature, as well as the feathers, appeared to be brownish gray in color. The winged creature seemed to stay in place and did not move around much. The feature that stood out to the witness was the enormous wingspan. The wings were spread out and the observer estimated that they took up about 80% of the width of the road. The road width was estimated to be between 16-20 feet. It could not be determined what the creature was doing since the witness was seeing the creature from its back side.

The witness was so startled by the occurrence that the thought of taking a picture never occurred. While the creature was still there, two men in a large utility truck approached the area.  They also stopped and were looking at the giant bird. They were still there when the initial witness left the area and continued down the road. The witness is a very experienced hunter and is quite familiar with the birds of Maryland. This creature appeared to be quite unusual and seemed to fit in the category of a Thunderbird.

*December 11- Pittsburgh area-A man was walking his dog when he looked up and saw what looked like a bright meteor in the sky that seemed to be moving in his direction. Seconds later, he observed a triangular shaped object that looked like a larger stealth fighter. The witness could see through it, however, and it moved faster than a jet, but it was silent. In one to two seconds, it just seemed to disappear. The witness was quite shaken by what he saw. It gave him the impression that it was cloaking.

Pennsylvania Man Recalls Alien Abductions During Childhood

A Pennsylvania man recalls several alien abduction scenarios that he experienced as a child. He later underwent hypnotic regression.

The following account, which was part of a report and a later regressive hypnosis session, was forwarded to me by a researcher:

This original incident occurred in 1992 in McKean County, Pennsylvania. The witness, a young boy who later recalled the event, woke up to get a glass of water. He returned to his room to find a "wavy blue vortex" from which a voice asked, "Do you want to go with us?" He agreed and felt a tingling static sensation then found himself on what appeared to be a polished marble surface. A female alien being (with breasts) greeted him in a soft feminine voice with, "Hello (name withheld) it is nice to see you again." She was about 4 feet tall with milky white skin, a small nose, no lips (he believes), and almond shaped eyes that were slightly larger than a human's. He was led up a staircase to a hall about 12 feet wide and in to an area with 12 beds, 6 on each side of the room. One bed was empty. There were hybrid (he believes) children with medium gray skin in the beds and several were jumping on the beds. A clearly annoyed adult alien being told them to stop jumping.

The female alien, who was escorting him, gave him a medallion like one she was wearing and told him she was going to help him increase his mental powers. She told him to concentrate on her inner self. She then passed through what appeared to be a solid concrete block. She then instructed him to try. He was able to go only part way through and she had to pull him out. She told him to try again and the second time he was successful. She told him that he had mastered it faster than she did. She took back the medallion.

She next led him through a door that opened by sliding up. There he met a male alien being who was taller than the female and had "high cheek bones." The witness states that the male was holding back his emotions. There were windows in this part of the craft and he could see out into space. There were also controls of some type in this room. He could see through a window in the floor into an area with a machine which he believes was the teleportation device. The craft was a disk and the size of "4 aircraft carries end-to-end."

An older alien being entered and said it was time to leave. Everyone became sad. He woke up in his bed neatly tucked in. No one had ever tucked him in before.

When he was a few years older, he saw the same type of craft and said that when it ascended, it was gone in the blink of an eye. He stated that they have craft the size of small planets and that some draw plasma off our Sun for fuel.

On one occasion, he was shown a vision in which he saw 4 disk shaped craft and hangars as if on a military base. There was a crowd of people who all appeared to be in a trance state walking into a craft. He pretended to be in a trance also and boarded with them. Inside there was a bench on the wall and happy gray children sitting on it swinging their feet. Several old alien beings approached him and asked, "Do you want to come with us or stay here?" He said he wanted to go with them and they were surprised. Then the vision ended.

When he was in his mid teens he had a vision of being taken to a beautiful planet where it was very bright, though it did not hurt his eyes. He felt a powerful sense of peace. The houses appeared to be made of an Adobe-like substance. There was one building that was made of bricks that looked something like a college. It had a tower reminiscent of Big Ben. He was told that this is where they receive knowledge and store things from other planets.

On another occasion, he remembers military doctors operating on his head. A Reptilian male told them to stop because the boy was in pain.

The witness is now in his late 20s. He has Celtic and Native American (Iroquois) ancestry. After his first experience, he felt "different." He has short term memory problems and states that he often feels that he is different ages, mostly older than his years. He has had chronic nose bleeds and his right nostril is difficult to breath through. He has a cousin who has had some experiences that seem to mirror his, but he has not gone through an official investigation or regression. TO

3 Bigfoot Encounter Accounts: Colorado, Texas & British Columbia

3 separate Bigfoot encounter accounts in Colorado, Texas and British Columbia. The scenarios include wood knocking, strange howling and predation.

These accounts were recently posted on various social media sites:

"I've lived around the Rocky Mountains all my life. I have also done a lot of camping. I’ve always been into Bigfoot shows and heard the stories, but never had an experience. Until last summer. Every time I’ve gone I’ve tried wood knocking, but never got a response.

Last summer I went camping southwest of Hog Park around the border between Wyoming and Colorado. During the day I tried a few wood knocks and never got a response. Well, that evening we were watching a deer in a meadow, and that's when we heard the first wood knock. It was a few miles away from us on the top of the ridge from what it sounded like. The knocks went on all that evening, it wasn’t just one.

Then late that evening we heard them fairly close to our camp. Eventually it died down and we went to bed. I woke up around 5:00 AM the next morning, it was below 30 degrees (very cold). I was the only one awake, and then I heard about 3 knocks to the left of my tent, sounded like it was coming from the same ridge but closer. Then I heard more to the right of my tent, on a small ridge closer to camp. They kept trading knocks, sometimes three at a time, and kept getting closer to each other. Eventually it sounded like they were within 30 yards of each other. I tried to record it but it was so cold my phone quit. Then one stopped, the other kept knocking (the one on the left), and then it eventually stopped. We didn’t hear anything else for the rest of the trip. It was a very strange experience considering there were no other camps spots for miles" RS

"For about the last week my parents (who live next door to us) and I have been hearing weird noises coming from our forested property across from our homes.

We live in rural east Texas near the Louisiana border and most of the area, including the property mentioned, is forests and swamp. My father has heard whooping noises, that he does not recognize during the past several nights lately, and when he responded the mystery animal responded back on at least one occasion. All the noises have been around midnight. He is very familiar with the native animals sounds, as he grew up in the woods.

Tonight, while putting something in my car around 6 PM, I heard what I can best describe as a “pissed off Baboon” roar/shriek come from the woods where we enter the property right across the road from my house. The sound was probably about 500-600 feet from my person and about 100-300 feet into the wood line. I have no idea what the noise was caused by and I am fairly familiar with native species as well. I teach biology and environmental science and I have grown up studying animals and playing in these woods and swamps.

My father's noises have been from about 1000 feet to the left of my own noise, in the woods by our cow pasture. Mine was near the entrance to the heavily wooded area.

We haven’t heard the sounds that the other has heard yet but he said what he heard sounds similar to an owl, but not like an owl. I just found this all highly interesting and I’m not going to outright say it is Sasquatch activity, but I try to keep an open mind and eliminate more likely explanations first.

I did go into the woods tonight by driving down to our campsite and looking around a bit but for the most part it was just very quiet and dark. I honestly just wanted to share this." S

"I live in a rural area in British Columbia, CA. My community is surrounded by woods and there have always been someone seeing Bigfoot or hearing the whistles.

Not my story, but it happened to a local in 2019. A mushroom picker went up a way’s behind my grandma’s house, which is in between my community and the nearest town. The mushroom picker turned around to face an empty field when he heard something crashing through the bushes. According to the picker, a deer ran right past him, missing him just by inches. Knowing he was about to confront a predator that was hunting the deer, he turned back to the field to see what it was, perhaps a cougar or a bear or something completely expected.

Nope, it wasn’t that. The picker says just as he turned, he saw a black furry thing stop running on all fours and then stand up on the other side of the field, revealing itself to be a Bigfoot. The picker says he turned around instantly and ran back to his truck a couple miles down to the highway, just thankful that the Bigfoot he saw didn't follow him." RD

Experiencer Recalls Grey Alien Incident While Deer Hunting in Wisconsin

After 30 years, a Wisconsin man now believes that he actually experienced an alien Grey encounter and possibly an abduction while on a hunting trip with his father.

"This incident happened in October 1988 and I am beginning to recall what happens in recent years. I once thought that it was a vivid dream, but now I believe that this was an actual event.

My father and I were deer hunting with bow & arrow near Shullsburg, Wisconsin in Lafayette County. I was 15 years old at the time of this event.

A deer walked under my tree stand and I took a shot. I waited for my father to return to my tree stand as he was about a mile away in his own tree stand. This was well after dark. I told him that I took a shot and we proceeded to follow the blood trail together. As we were walking through the field following the trail, I observed a violet light hovering over the tree line going from left to right. I told my father and he didn't pay much attention because he was following the blood trail and told me to quit messing around. I shined my flashlight at the light and it darted off toward the woods very fast. After some time the trail stopped and my father said we would resume search in the morning but he though I probably had a brisket shot too low and wasn't going to get the deer.

That night we ate dinner cooked by the Coleman stove and got ready for bed in the back of his old 1973 Chevy pickup. It had a metal cab on the back and I remember windows on the side and in the back. My dad snored loud and I remember him snoring that night. As I was laying in the back of the truck, at some point of the night or early morning, I remember having a frightening feeling that someone was watching me; to the point I didn't want to open my eyes. I did and through the side window saw what I think was the big eyed, large head Grey looking back at me. I closed my eyes again and heard what was like a mechanical voice telling me, "We are not going to hurt you."

Then something made me open the back window of the truck cab and get out. When I did I observed three short and two taller large head, big eyed Grey aliens and that a disc-shaped craft landed in the field about 200 feet from the truck. I remember the little ones touching my fingers and leading me toward the craft and saying, "Do not be scared" in a mechanical voice that seemed to be in my head.

That is all I remember. I woke up in the back of the truck and thinking that this was a vivid scary dream and it has bothered me since it happened. To this day, when I see a image on TV or in print of an alien Grey, it sends chills down my spine!"

Dave is the creator and host of Spaced Out Radio 'casting 7 nights a week on YouTube at Spaced Out Radio on YouTube​ and the website at Spaced Out Radio. Spaced Out Radio is an entertaining online radio program and website dedicated to talking about intriguing topics from UFOs, to the paranormal, to Sasquatch, and more! A former radio journalist, Dave graduated with a diploma in Broadcast Communications from one of Canada’s top Broadcasting Schools, BCIT, in 1998. Dave then spent nearly 10 years in radio, mostly working in sports, before leaving the field to pursue other interests. Dave’s personal quest into the unknown started in December of 2011, when he had contact from what he calls The Angel of Death, that he saw in his mother’s eyes, which led to his first channeling experience. After this incident, Dave’s personal experiences started becoming more frequent. Premonitions started coming true. A Bigfoot sighting with two of the creatures within 100 feet of him. UFOs started appearing anytime he wanted, even though Dave had no idea what “summoning” was. Personal sightings of five extraterrestrial species, one who he’s nicknamed ‘Carl’. On November 30th, 2014, Dave launched ‘Spaced Out Radio’. Dave’s near decade as a journalist helped him craft his style of interview, making it comfortable and personal for his guests and listeners alike. He looks at himself as one of the only trained and experienced radio journalists, who is also an multiple experiencer of the unknown.
