A Bigfoot Sighting Then Some Odd Electronic Effects - May 20, 2021

I was recently contacted by Eric Altman, Director of the Pennsylvania Bigfoot Society concerning a sighting by two people of a tall dark figure in an area of Fayette county, Pennsylvania that has a long history of Bigfoot and other cryptid encounters. There were some details of the case that drew my attention because of other similar accounts that I have looked into in past years.

It was in the early 1970s that my investigations began to reveal some strange elements associated with the eyewitness accounts of Bigfoot that suggested that these creatures might be stranger than just an unknown animal. Trails of large footprints disappearing in the snow, reports of Bigfoot physically appearing and disappearing, and UFOs and Bigfoot seen together were just some of the oddities that came to my attention. I started writing about those strange details in the early 1970s.

It is now 2021, and these type of strange cases continue to take place over the years. Many similar reports  have surfaced from not only Pennsylvania, but also from around the country, especially in the last few years. For many years, Bigfoot researchers and other witnesses from across the Keystone state and around the U. S. have reported seeing small balls of light and other anomalous lights in areas that have a history of Bigfoot encounters.

Bigfoot researchers have experienced odd electromagnetic effects with their cameras and other equipment at times. I have investigated cases over the years of a Bigfoot walking out in front of a car and the vehicle losing power at that moment. As the creature moved off, the car would function normally. Similar EM effects have been reported with some low level UFO cases over the years.

There were some odd electronic effects described in Eric’s report, that occurred in the vehicle just after the creature encounter that are most interesting. I sure can’t say that the two events are related, however, similar incidents have reportedly taken place.

Crossing Into Another Dimension While Hiking Near Circleville, Ohio

A group of friends were hiking near Circleville, Ohio, an old town that didn't seem to exist in their reality. Many strange things begin to occur, leading one of the group to believe that they entered into another dimension.

The following account was forwarded to me by a colleague:

It was mid January, 2014. Michael and some friends had decided to do some camping. It was still quite chilly out but he felt it would be fun to do some winter camping as he had never camped before and wanted to experience it.

The friends all drove their own vehicles up to the woods in an area outside of the town of Circleville, Ohio. During the first night, Michael recalled that a bunch of the guys began speaking about an old abandoned overgrown mining town about three miles away from where they were camping. This supposed ghost town, which was said to be haunted, was also named Circleville (an early iteration of the Circleville?). They discussed hiking out the next morning to go see it.

The next morning came and they gathered some things and drove their cars up to the trail entrance and began hiking. There was a small river with a large log across it (fallen tree). They used it to get across and then began through the woods, coming out onto some old out of commission railroad tracks. They were then to follow these tracks three miles and it would take them right into old Circleville. They started walking.

After some time, it dawned on them that they had been walking much longer than three miles and they began to wonder if they had somehow walked past the town and not realized it. They decided to turn around and go back. In the distance, they heard a train whistle, as if a train was coming down the tracks. They kept hearing it but it never got any closer. It always seemed to be the same distance away. They wondered if it was the wind playing tricks on them.

When they got back to the river, the guys were shocked to find that the heavy log they had used to cross just an hour earlier was now gone. How? They decided to follow the river down to a narrowing. They then saw something that baffled them. Despite it being absolutely freezing and winter, there was an old woman floating/swimming down the river dressed in some kind of old bathing suit. All five of them thought it strange (even creepy) but they assumed that she knew what she was doing and they carried on. Michael noted that she appeared normal looking with a scar on her chest and a mole on her face. They all got a weird vibe from her, like there was something off about her. Michael believes, in hindsight, that she was some kind of 'forest witch.' They brushed it off and continued on until they found a spot where they could cross.

Back at camp, they continued to talk about the woman and were a little freaked out. That night, strange things began to happen. When they slept, all five friends dreamt about a sign which read “Half Mile to Circleville,” something they found odd. A shared dream? Through the next day, they began to hear a woman giggling in the forest though there was nobody around for at least a half a mile. Michael's friends also began seeing shadows moving in the corner of their eyes and they got the feeling as though they were being watched.

When night came, Michael recalled that he was quite cold and decided to sleep in the backseat of his car. He remembered being woken up by the feeling of his car shaking. He looked around but saw nothing. He went back to sleep and it happened again. This time when he woke, he could see five figures standing around his car. He thought at first that it was his friends but then realized that there was five of them (amorphous black blobs with vaguely human-like shapes). One stood hunched over the hood looking in, while the others stood around the side. The door of his car flew open, suddenly, and Michael was pushed out onto the ground. He was terrified. One of the entities, the one near the hood, walked over to him and as it did, the other four seemed to somehow walk into it, merging into one, becoming a single towering seven foot tall entity with glowing eyes and a face (nose, mouth, brow etc.). Michael notes that he could not understand how this was possible and wondered in his mind what this thing was that could do this. It then crouched down and looked directly into Michael's eyes. It then said to him, “You are so close.” With that, it raised up and walked back, eventually fading into the darkness. It was gone and Michael was left petrified. For reasons he did not understand, he elected not to tell his friends or leave, instead remaining awake in his car the remainder of the night.

The next morning, the friends all revealed to each other the strange things they had been seeing and experiencing (the dreams, the shadows, the sounds, etc.) and they decided to leave that morning. While heading out, Michael observed the large entity he saw that night before standing in the tree line watching them leave. To this day, his one friend still has nightmares about the old lady in the river and does not like to discuss the events of the trip.

Michael thinks that, looking back, when they began down those tracks, that might have actually made it to Circleville (possibly walking through some sort of dimensional doorway) which then manifested all the high strangeness that followed (the witch lady in the river, the shadows, the shared dreams, the giggling and even the entities). He thinks that when they came back to the river and found that the log was gone, it was because they were not in their version of reality anymore but one possibly from another time, which would explain why they could hear the train (a train from another time, possibly). When asked what the creature meant by “You are so close” Michael believes that either it was telling them that they were very close to “Circleville” or they were close to stumbling upon something else that might have been important. He does not know.

'My Father's Otherworldly Encounter That's Too Horrifying To Disclose'

A woman recalls an alien encounter account, told to her by her father, that obviously affected him for life. It's a cryptic tale of the horror some experiencers suffer during these incidents.

The following account was recently forwarded to me:

"Between the two of my parents, I have always been closer with my father. He's warmer, more in tune with his emotions and has always shared similar interests and beliefs with me. Not to say that I don't appreciate and love my mother for her stoic pride and strength, despite her coldness.

Anyway, one day a few years ago I was driving with my dad in his truck swapping stories with him. Since he's my dad and he was there for most of my stories, it was mainly him telling me about stuff from his younger years. I'm a huge cryptid fan. Bigfoot, Mothman, Chupacabras... you name it. So naturally, I ask him if he's ever seen anything strange or had ever experience the paranormal. It started out light-hearted, talking about weird shadows he'd seen and the fact that he believes in ghosts and aliens (my mom doesn't). Once he mentioned aliens, I told him about the two encounters I had had. After I told him he seemed...off.

He was quiet for a minute and then said, "Don't tell your mom I talked to you about this... she thinks I'm lying and will get upset if she knew I told you." So of course I tuned in big time. He told me he looked dead into the eyes of something not from this earth/plane of existence.

One night, many years ago, he and his buddies were out driving in his old pickup. We're from the deep south, so he was just driving through endless woods and fields near his uncle's house. They were chatting and driving until they saw it. He said it all happened in a matter of minutes but felt like it was hours, like time felt drawn out and nonexistent. He slammed on the breaks. A giant, saucer-like machine was silently hovering just above them and directly in front of them on the road. Entirely still and motionless. He said that was one of the scariest parts, that a machine that huge and that intricate (covered in impossibly bright and vibrant lights, made of a material nearly incomprehensible in texture and shape) could make no noise at all. Around the entire craft in a band like shape, he could tell was some kind of one way mirror/window. He couldn't see into it, but he could feel in his bones and in his core that something was staring him right in his eyes. He was paralyzed from it. He felt entirely known. He didn't know HOW, but he knew in his gut that whatever was looking at him knew his entire past and everything about him. It knew his name and it had known him for a LONG time. He said it was like he was in an unwanted staring contest with God for what felt like hours. And then it flashed away over the tree line in a blink of an eye. Impossibly fast. He checked the clock, only a couple minutes went by.

He and his friends were HORRIFIED. They collected themselves and at full speed drove to his uncle's house to ask his aunt and uncle if they saw it. They did. And they were pale in the face and acting very off. And moments later, it appeared in the tree line by their house. It remained there still for a couple minutes, daunting and threatening. Like a warning to mind their business and that they will be watched. And then it was gone. Never seen again and he and his friends and family agreed to not speak of it again to each other, to help themselves sleep.

The worst was yet to come for him though, in a separate story that had nothing to do with UFO. He told me this one afterwards. He stopped himself and I had to coax him into telling me. I promised I wouldn't call him crazy. He had never even told my mother this story. This second story chills me to the bone and makes me afraid that my family is being followed by something we don't understand. I know it's true too, because my dad is extremely jovial and lighthearted and when he told me this story he looked like a scared little boy.

He teared up and looked visibly shaken. Mind you, I've never seen my dad scared or ever even cry before. But my dad made me promise I won't tell anyone this second story. I have to keep it until my grave. He's afraid that if I speak of it, it will makes cryptic things start happening around him and I again. I'm sorry for being such a tease with it, but I can't speak of it. I haven't even told my boyfriend of 2 years. Not a soul until I die. I only mention it so you know what my dad told me was true about what he saw out in the field by his uncle's house.

I can't help but wonder if my family is specifically being followed/watched by someone or something. It would make my personal experiences with the paranormal and unexplained make more sense. But I will never know for sure." CG

UPDATE: "My father had an encounter with an otherworldly being that was in a UFO-like machine. And for the rest of his life, experienced odd things. One of which, he has only ever told me and promised me not to tell anyone until I die because it was that intense and cosmically horrifying." CG

NOTE: The writer refuses to describe her father's 2nd experience in more detail. I can only hope that she eventually comes forward with the details. Many multiple experiencers will hold back and avoid disclosing particular encounters that they feel others will not believe or take seriously. Lon

Bigfoot Eyewitness Reports in Utah, California & New Mexico

3 separate Bigfoot encounter reports from witnesses in Utah, California and New Mexico.

I recently came across the following Bigfoot encounter reports:

"A couple of years ago, I was on a weeklong backpacking trip in the High Uintas in Utah during late August. I spent my last two nights near Grandaddy Lake.
Before I entered the basin, I encountered two guys going the opposite direction. They informed me that they had been there for four days and hasn't seen another person. During that it was very quiet there.
When I arrived in the basin, I noticed that it was very quiet and not much wildlife to be heard or seen, including birds. Anyhow, the first night and the next day were uneventful and I hiked the perimeter of the lake, never encountering anyone else.
The next day a storm passed through the area driving the temperature enough that it actually snowed and stuck to the ground. (I was at around 10,000 ft/3,000m elevation) So I hunkered down for the night in my tent as soon as the sun dipped behind the peaks.
At about 2:30 am I was awakened by a loud knocking sound to what seemed to be the north of my camp. It took me to a second to focus my attention, then I heard what was an unmistakable whoop coming from the same direction.
I laid in my sack quietly. Then again I heard another whoop that seemed to be coming from further too the north. This was followed by a reply from what I'm guessing was the original individual. This went on for about 15 minutes, each time the sound drifting further to the north. Eventually it went quiet again.
Needless to say, I didn't sleep well the rest of the night. I had to be on the trail early the next morning to get back to my car, so I didn't have a chance to go look around for any physical evidence. I'm not saying it was a Sasquatch, but I've never heard anything like that before. And I've spent most of Mt life hiking, hunting and backpacking. I did some research on BFRO and there have been a few reports in that area. Anyhow, that's my possible encounter." SC

I had an encounter in 1978. Big Sur is a mountainous area in south central California situated on the edge of the Los Padres National Forest (which is almost 3000 square miles large) and over looking the Pacific Ocean on the western side.
Three friends and myself (ranging from 16-18) who lived in nearby Salinas, had planned on driving to a secluded spot in Big Sur that we called “Top of the World.” This particular area of big Sur wasn’t frequented by people except for some occasional vehicle traffic from locals or the rare tourist or hiker during the day and was void of Humans at night. At night there was of course critters (bobcat, fox) and even the occasional mountain lion. No people, no cops, perfect location for four party animals.
We drove down the Pacific coast highway and turned off on the Old Coast Road which winds up into the mountains (the Old Coast Road is a hard packed dirt road and former primary route in and out of Big Sur prior to the construction of the Bixby Bridge).
Our spot, “The top of the world,” was right off and above the dirt road with an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean. The spot was directly accessible from the old dirt road which had steep cliffs on one side, and the other a very deep ravine with the Bixby creek (or little Sur river, I don’t remember) running through it.
Well, the party never even started because of the event I will now describe. I might add that the events of this night are burned into my memory. It was almost traumatic. With the exception of some (exact) conversation, I remember everything like it was yesterday.
Steve parked his mom’s Chevy Vega at the base of the incline leading to our spot, grabbed some beers out of the hatch back (which we left open) and walked halfway up the very steep incline. The distance between where Steve's car was parked and the top of the hill was maybe 30 yards
What happened next all took place in a matter of seconds but it seemed like an eternity to me.
We were sitting next to each other in a row facing the Pacific Ocean. Behind us was the crest of the hill about 15 yards up. Beyond that, the dark and foreboding forest. looking out at the Pacific, talking little and just taking in the beautiful view whilst sipping our beers, we got quiet and maybe a bit reflective (I know I did). It was beautiful.
At one point, in the midst of silence, something weird happened (Later, when all this was over, we talked about this strange feeling that none of us had ever experienced).
What happened was this: all of a sudden, we all looked at each other; and without speaking a word, as if every one of us was receiving an unspoken message, or intuitive response to nature or a gut feeling, we simultaneously looked around behind us, at the top of the hill; this is what we saw:
There, at the top, not 15 yards away, was a creature. It was simply standing there, observing (us). I will try my best to describe what I (we) saw despite the fact that it was almost midnight (which added to the creep factor) and our eyes were well acclimated to darkness by then.
This “being” was not human. That I know for sure. It just stood there, completely upright, arms to the side, facing in our direction. Whether or not it was looking at us I couldn’t tell because unfortunately, due to lighting conditions and the angle (I guess), I saw only the outline of a head and body; a very hairy head and body that was dark in color. No facial features that I can remember. There was very long “hair” (fur?) flowing down from the head but there was an opening where a face must have been. All I saw was darkness between the hair on the head. No eyes or other facial features. The head hair seemed to flow down and mix with the rest of the hairy body. I distinctly remember the arms. They were long but seemed to fit the size of the body. I don’t recall them being overly long like an ape but they also had long flowing hair; as did the torso and legs. It was tall, maybe seven feet but that could have been because we were looking up at it. It was also wide. It gave me the impression of great strength. It made absolutely no sound.
To be fair, I soaked all this information up in probably about one or two seconds. Reason being, an immediate feeling of “fight or flight” kicked in as soon as I (we) turned and saw this creature. Anyone that’s been in combat or other life or death situations knows what I mean with fight or flight. “fight” wasn’t an option (obviously) so we did, once again simultaneously, what most humans would do: GET THE F*** OUT OF DODGE!!

We ran. I stumbled and fell because of the steep incline and the guys made it to the car before me. I didn’t even try to get in, rather, I simply jumped into the open hatchback. Steve started the Vega and gunned it. We only got two corners away from Mr. Foot before Steve lost control and we went sliding over the side of a cliff. Thankfully, The first 20 yards of the drop was gradual and was overgrown with thick underbrush that slowed the car to a stop before dropping off the steep cliff and into the creek below. We all climbed out, thanking our luck and climbed back up to the road.
Now we had to make a choice. Walking back in the direction we came would be only three miles or so back to highway 1 (the Pacific coast highway). But that direction would also take us by the last place we saw Mr. Foot. The Unanimous decision was to walk the other direction which was 5x as long to reach the highway. That’s how scared we were.
It took hours but we made it, alive and healthy with a story we could share with friends and family for the rest of our lives." Name withheld

"Tuesday night (5/8/18) - northwest New Mexico -  my son had gone to night class with some friends. He got home around 10:15 PM. I was in the kitchen when he came in the house. He looked a little excited/nervous. First thing he said was, "I saw something." I asked him what and he said "I think it was Bigfoot. It was too big and too fast to be a person." As he was nearing our yard he said it came running out of the woods and crossed the road in front of him. He said it looked to be about seven feet tall, dark in color and extremely fast. He mentioned he noticed the legs seemed to be very large. When he got to where it crossed the road he stopped the car and looked out the window but didn't see anything. He was a little spooked by the speed of it. He's still talking this morning about how fast it was. It was running in the direction of my grandparent's old house. So I went out in the backyard and just listened. I tried to make no noise. After a few minutes I heard what I can only describe as a foot stomp. A really loud foot stomp. This is the second time I've heard the stomp sound.
Really don't know if this is related but it may be worth mentioning. The next morning my son said "I almost woke you up at 2:00 this morning." I asked why and he said he was hearing bird noises. I told him it was probably a whippoorwill and he said he knew what they sounded like. He said this was really loud, it woke him up, but it wasn't just one bird call. Would make one bird sound then change to a different type bird. Also said it sounded more like someone imitating birds more than real birds. Last week I was woken up by what I thought was someone whistling like you do when you call a dog. I was starting to get out of bed when it changed from whistling to bird noises. Like my son said it was a lot of different bird calls. I decided it must be a confused mockingbird but now I'm really not sure." UW

'Not Deer' Encounter in Mountains South of Denver, Colorado

A Colorado witness reports encountering what he describes as a 'Not Deer,' a supposed creature that resembles a deer but doesn't really have the same characteristics.

The following account was recently forwarded to me:

"I believe I saw what a lot of people call a "not deer" last fall. I see the term "not deer" tied in with other cryptid creatures pretty often. There isn't a lot to this story but it has stuck with me and every time I think back on it I feel really uneasy.

I live Colorado, in a mountain town south of Denver. The road I live off of is a winding back road through a valley. One side of the road is right against rock, steep like a wall in some places and more sloping in others, and the other side kind of drops off into the valley. Also might be worth noting that the mountain on the other side of the valley is a huge burn site with nothing but skeleton trees (I've heard a couple of stories that take place near burn sites so maybe there's some correlation?).

This was around late August/early September 2020. I was driving home late, probably around 1am. I know the road and all the curves pretty well, so I was going a pretty decent speed and probably wasn't being as actively aware of my surroundings as I should have been, especially since deer and elk are pretty common here. Anyway, I was coming up on the last curve before my street, and I saw a deer standing at the side of the road on the side with the rock face. This deer was standing completely still, facing the rock wall. That in itself doesn't sound too strange, I know, but there was just something unnatural in its stillness. And the fact that it was staring straight into the rock, nowhere it could go, was odd. But what has stuck with me is the feeling I immediately got upon seeing it. Just an ungodly pit in my stomach. It felt like my heart stopped. And this wasn't the "oh shit, the deer on the side of the road surprised me" kind of stomach pit, this was an absolute feeling of dread. It also seemed like there was something just 'off,' about the deer.

For the life of me I can't picture it in my head or pinpoint what it was, but something proportion-wise was wrong, like maybe its legs where a little too long, or it's torso was stretched out, I'm not sure. I didn't have time to really react other than just slow down a bit, I just kept driving. As I rounded the curve I literally could not take my eyes off the rearview mirror, and the thing didn't move AT ALL. Not a flinch, nothing. Just stone still. Even after it was behind the curve and I couldn't see it anymore, I still couldn't peel my eyes off the rearview. I pulled into the garage and hit the garage door closer before I had even parked, and when I got out of the car I couldn't stop myself from running up the stairs. I couldn't shake the feeling of dread, like I was in danger.

I'm not by any means superstitious. I like stories about cryptids, and I think they're super interesting, but I've never really believed them. But since that night, as short lived as that encounter was, if there is one supernatural thing I believe in, it was that creature. I know in my gut it wasn't just a deer. It's also worth noting, that after I told my visiting friend about the experience, she admitted that the year before when she was visiting for the first time, she felt a similar dread/pit in the stomach as we had approached that same spot.

It seems like the "not deer" is pretty new, and there aren't a whole lot of stories and sightings of them. But from what I have read I am lead to believe that that's what I saw that night." FT

NOTE: The "Not Deer" is generally considered as a folk cryptid, especially in the Appalachians. I have heard other witnesses state that is was a diseased deer or possibly a 'ghost.' I will occasionally receive a report from a witness who spotted a weird-looking deer that just seems out of place, usually followed by a physical reaction to seeing it. Unknown Bizarre Sounds Reported in the Salado Creek Greenway, San Antonio, Texas

A San Antonio resident frequents the Salado Creek Greenway at night when walking her dog. Recently, there have been several unrecognizable sounds throughout the area.

I found the following account on a forum:

"I live in an apartment complex right next to the Hardberger Park section of the Salado Creek Greenway in San Antonio, Texas. Walking my dog is a nightly routine, and every single night we go walking along the same path. Well, one portion of the path is right along a fence that borders the greenway. Rarely do we ever actually hear anything, save for the occasional running deer or other easily identify creatures. This night, however, was different.
Almost as soon as we walked outside, I could already hear some sounds in the distance. First was a faltering whine or screeching. It was hard to pinpoint, but something seemed like it was dying or very hurt. It was high pitched, but didn’t sound like a cat, dog, or other domestic animal. It was intermittent and faltering, so we really needed to listen out for it. As far as I could tell, there was no movement.
We stood there listening for the first screeching, before hearing a second noise, in the trees this time. It sounded almost like it could be the hawk that I saw and heard a few days before. The noise was coming from the same general direction. The noise itself seemed bird-like in nature, but seemed to possibly be in pain. Again, no rustling, even though it was clearly coming from the trees. The shrieking seemed to last much longer.
Next was the whining/screeching noise again, coming from lower down, similar general area as before, but perhaps moved 20-30 feet to the right. Yet, it seemed to be different somehow. Perhaps a different animal? Was it monkeys? It was a similar, yet still a terror-inducing shriek. Again, it was intermittent and the noise kept faltering.
This fourth and last set of noises was the freakiest and scariest. It started with what was obviously an owl. It made the “who who” noises and seemed to fly from tree to tree within the vicinity. Here’s the confusing part. We then heard not just one other set of hoots, but many more. All of them in different voices. First the second “who who” sounded a little bit like a human was mimicking the owl. I am very well aware of the large homeless population right outside our very gates. But this one sounded like a human that is skilled at mimicking an owl. The third “who who” sounded like a different voice, but less good. The next one was also a different voice, but even less skilled than the last. The next few go on like this until about the 5th or 6th one. Every subsequent hoot after that seemed to get just a little bit better. But every single one of them seemed to be from a different voice, perhaps.
My boyfriend, who also heard everything right there with me, describes some of the voices as “ape-like” and each set of hoots was like a smooth transition from good, to a little worse, to better again. They also seemed to be in slightly different spots. Now, I would have dismissed these “hoots” as people. But with all of the other strange noises around, it was hard to dismiss. And here’s the kicker. I wondered where exactly these voices were located in relation to the ground. Some seemed to be a little higher up, others seemed to be lower, closer to the ground.
I asked myself if any of those 1st and 3rd set if screeches were coyotes. I’ve heard coyotes in the distance before. The coyotes I heard in the last seemed to all howl in a pack, in unison, at the time. However, I’m obviously no expert. I only ever heard coyotes once or twice in my lifetime. I’m no expert, so I suppose that could’ve been the case. In the past, I have also wondered if there were any reports of monkeys in the area as well. I think it was once before when we heard what sounded like a more relaxed version of monkey screeches on one of our same nighttime walks. At that time though, it didn’t send chills down my spine. This night was different.
Are we crazy for hearing these things? I grew up hearing about the lechuza and skinwalker folklores. Could it be?" H
NOTE: It was mentioned by others on the forum that it was probably Barred Owls, which I know make similar bizarre sounds. As for a supernatural bent to the sounds, anything is possible. The Salado Creek Greenway is known to be haunted, from other incidents I have read in the past. Any thoughts? Lon

Tall Headless Bipedal Entity Observed in Rural North Georgia

A rural north Georgia high school student described a headless bipedal entity that he witnessed near his home one evening. He also states that it transformed or blended in with a street sign.

The following account was referred to me by a 3rd party:

"I’m a high school teacher in rural north Georgia. I love my job. I teach math, which I love and the kids hate, so to keep the kids on my side, I frequently give them breaks to just shoot the shit and do whatever. So by now my students know I love talking about certain topics, including the paranormal but especially UFOs. We actually listened to the 'Hunt for the Skinwalker' audiobook yesterday in the class.. So today, a student (super super smart and talented kid, I might add. Charming, witty, a great young person) says to me, “Hey, I have a story.”

He was driving to his home from the gym at about 9:30 PM some day last week. He said he was feeling great, had a great pump, everything. He was turning on to his street when he saw a bipedal thing moving quickly in the direction of the road he was about to turn onto. It was in an open field and said it was the color of my classroom wall (basically white, but when I said it was white, he would say no and say it was the color of the wall). He said it was tall and slender but not just skin and bones, still muscled. He said it was moving at a speed similar with his car across this field and said its legs were long and it had big feet. I’m struggling to exactly recall or honestly make sense of how he described its legs and locomotion, and I’m going to ask for clarification tomorrow, but it also seemed like he was struggling to describe it in the first place. He mentioned its knees being prominent but also that it seemed to have that weird classic dog leg thing going on but only when its leg was back. He said when the a leg was forward it bent like a human leg. So I’m kind of imagining it taking these fast tiptoe looking steps where when its leg comes down and back it maybe changes shape or something. He said its arms were long and it had “witch fingers.” He did not see a head or neck on its shoulders.

We looked at that classic 4chan “skinwalker” trap cam picture where it’s looking at the camera and he said “that’s what I saw, but without a head.” He said it left a tall, blurry trail of its own image as it moved. And then the oddest thing of all, he said it “turned into a [street] sign.” So I asked for a lot of clarification on this, but he seemed as confused as I did. He said he watched it cross the street and blend into an existing street sign and disappear via this transformation. I’ve suggested he could return to the location of the sighting and see what he can find or remember.

I find this person’s report credible, in that I believe that he believes himself. I know a hell of a lot more about shit in the sky than on the ground though, so I wanted to bring this to this community. Please let me know what you think, or especially if this rings similar to other encounters." LS

NOTE: I told the writer that the student may have seen either a crawler humanoid or another type of ethereal entity. Seems similar to the 'Fresno nightcrawler' phenomena in some respects. I really doubt that it was a skinwalker, which is a native shapeshifting witch. The teacher insist that this student is convinced of what he witnessed and doesn't believe that he made it up. Lon

Thunderbird - Huge Flying Creature Sighting Reported In The Greensburg, PA Area Again

A person was stopped at the red light at the corner of Otterman and Maple in downtown Greensburg, Pennsylvania on the afternoon of May 23, 2021. That is when the witness noticed something unusual in the sky. She thought at first that it was  a turkey vulture, but as it flew closer in her direction, she realized how unusual this creature was.
The witness contacted me within the hour after her observation and stated, “I was stunned at what I saw”. The flying creature was described as huge, with a wingspan estimated to be about two car lengths long.
The observer mentioned that even though it was high in the sky, it was still huge. The flying behemoth was described as all black in color. It had a defined elongated head with a sharp pointed beak, and also a pointed protuberance at the back of the head.
The body of the creature was featherless and appeared to be covered with leathery skin. The tail was straight and  looked similar to a lizards tail, however, it seemed to curl up at the bottom, when the creature made a left turn in flight. The woman could not see its legs that were possibly tucked underneath.
What caught the observers attention was the physical size of the creature and the unusual way that it was flapping its huge wings. It would at times flap the wings hard, then just glide through the sky. She noted that it seemed to flap the wings extremely hard when making a turn.

The witness stated to me that the entire experience was almost surreal. As she was driving along, she had it in sight for a few minutes. It was around Depot and Otterman Street that she saw it turn to the left and fly off toward Route 119 to South Greensburg.
The witness has experience working closely with the wildlife of Pennsylvania and was certain that what she saw was not a turkey vulture, crane, or an eagle. It was something that she had never seen before. It was similar, however, to drawings of a pterosaur, a huge flying creature that has been long extinct and lived during the Mesozoic period.
A Second Report - May 22, 2021 - Greensburg, Pennsylvania
As I was typing up the May 23, 2021 report, my phone rang. The man on the phone called to ask me if I had received any reports of a very large strange looking bird in the Greensburg area. I found out that he had also observed a similar huge, winged creature the day before the previous report. The man who lives in the northern section of Greensburg was walking his dog that afternoon when he noticed what  looked like a huge bird in the sky directly overhead. Whatever it was it was very high up at an estimated altitude of 800-1,000 feet and moving toward the west.

The creature was possibly black or dark gray in color. Both the size and how it moved across the sky were unusual. The wingspan of the huge creature was estimated to be between 15-20 feet from wingtip to wingtip. The giant bird never flapped or adjusted the pitch of its wings while under observation. It just glided across the sky continuing to move westward. The wings also looked unusual as they came back to points parallel with its body. (See the accompanying sketch.) The tail seemed to come to a point.
The witness watched the creature for approximately 30-45 seconds, and he estimated that it moved about 2 miles or more until he lost sight of it among the trees. The man heard no sound as it passed overhead. The witness stated that he is not sure what he saw flying in the sky that day.
Addendum:
There has been a long history of sightings of huge flying creatures that, in the field of Cryptozoology fall under the term “Thunderbirds.” They have been seen throughout Pennsylvania as well as across the country.
For many years there have been reports of giant bird sightings in the vicinity of Route 119 in South Greensburg. It was about dusk one evening in 2001 when a man walking in South Greensburg heard a sound like “flags flapping in a thunderstorm” and saw a huge dark bird flying about 50-60 feet above the traffic on the highway. He estimated the wingspan was between 10-15 feet wide.

In August of 2010, at a residence just off of Route 119 just down the road from where the 2001 sighting had taken place, four people having a barbecue heard a loud swishing sound coming from overhead and watched as a huge dark bird with a massive wingspan flew about 40 feet above them.
There have been other such sightings in that same general area, and locals have reported the sound of something large passing through the air nearby and large shadows of what seemed to be a massive bird passing over their vehicles.
In April of 2020, during the afternoon, a man reported that he was driving down Pittsburgh street in Greensburg and was heading toward the business section of town when the shadow of a huge bird passed over his vehicle. He said a vehicle pulled up next to him and asked him if he had seen that big bird.
In October of 2020, at a location a few miles off of the William Penn Highway in Monroeville, which is a  populated suburb of Pittsburgh, another witness saw a huge, oversized bird that was gray in color and was described as about five times the size of a hawk. That person estimated the wingspan to be about 14-15 feet from tip to tip.
There are many mysteries that take place that we don’t have answers for. The sightings of the so called thunderbirds are just one of them.

As the co-editor of the Flying Saucer Report (Bedford, Ohio, 1967-1972), I was always keeping an eye out for any references to extraterrestrials among us.  One of the more popular magazines at the time, dealing with paranormal phenomena of every kind and published out of Hicksville, New York, was Beyond; and I made sure that I snatched up every monthly issue from the local newsstand.  In their June 1969 edition, there was a letter to the editor from an individual, Miss V. Paxton of West Virginia, who claimed to be originally from another planet.  It read as follows:

Nyockha of Pegasus

“I am originally from Pegasus.  My home planet orbits a dense, compact star.  Our atmosphere is more like a bluish haze.  There are no clouds such as are found on Earth.  The terrain consists mostly of large, black craters and high, flat-topped mountains.  Plant growth is not green, as our planet is nearer to our sun than the Earth is to its own Sun; therefore, the plants take on more of a chartreuse shade.  I have been in spiritual contact with my original parents since childhood.  They brought me here to be born on Earth.  I even remember the trip here.  My soul-name is Nyockha.”

While the magazine only gave West Virginia as her Earth address, the editors had the envelope and knew of the exact location; but when they followed up on it and tried to get in contact with Ms. Paxton to conduct an interview with her for a follow-up article to her letter, nothing turned up at that address.  Martin M. Cummings, a staff writer for Beyond, reported in the November 1969 issue, that Ms. Paxton’s letter was not the only one where the writer claimed to be an alien.  Since the publication of the June issue until the November issue was out in print, four persons had written to the editorial offices with similar claims of extraterrestrial origin, either for themselves or someone they knew. 

One letter came from a subscriber living in Lima, Peru, who told of a 64-year-old woman living alone on the outskirts of the small village of Cerrado, Peru, about a five-hour journey distant by car from the capital city.  The elderly, grey-haired woman, Carmen del Playa, was then working part time at the ceramic factory in Cerrado.  The Beyond subscriber insisted that her friend Carmen was indeed from another planet and had arrived on Earth 30 years ago in a spaceship made of organic material that disintegrated immediately upon contact with the surface of our world.  She has never been married and has neither children nor relatives on the Earth, at least none that anybody has any knowledge of.  According to her own telling of the story, she does have a father, a mother and two brothers living on a planet a little larger than the Earth, called Plazenile, that orbits a red star situated on the rim of the Andromeda galaxy.  

“I was one of three citizens chosen to undertake a space exploration in a specially prepared craft,” said Carmen del Playa to, adding that, “It was powered by an energy consumption system similar to that used by the human body itself and constructed of organic materials capable of withstanding pressure and producing oxygen and food through systematic growth on its walls.

“At the time of the craft’s departure from our planet, I was roughly 364 years old, or in early middle age according to standards of Plazenile.  My two companions were younger.  We were trained in the science of ‘Utente,’ or the gathering of knowledge through osmotic perception of environment.

“Our task was to explore any inhabited planets we found, and return to our own planet with information that could be used to solve Plazenile’s greatest problem- a shortage of water which may destroy all life there within the next few thousand years.

“Unfortunately, some ingredient in the soil of Earth caused our craft to disintegrate as soon as we landed one dark night in the jungle, not far from this village.

“In the confusion, I became separated from my companions.  I do not know what became of them.  But I wandered into this village and was fed and clothed by kind people.  Since I cannot return to my world, I have remained here ever since, leading the quiet and productive life which all citizens of Plazenile consider the highest and most noble.”

In Cummings’ article in Beyond, where he provides a synopsis of the lives of the four alien letter writers, he reports that the residents of Cerrado found Carmen sitting in the village square one morning in 1939.  She was wearing a dress of strange fabric that looked like something akin to “dried grass.”  At first, she did not understand anything that the people said to her and did not say anything in return.  After several days, however, she began to miraculously speak fluent Spanish, telling a strange tale of this other planet, Plazenile, and of learning to speak Spanish and obtaining a knowledge of Peruvian customs through Utente. 

She was named “del Playa” because of the name she gave for her planet- Plazenile.  She threw herself into hard work and settled down in the village, becoming a good neighbor to all.  Everyone in the village said that, apart from her “crazy story,” she was generous, kind and extremely intelligent.  Cummings noted that everyone who came to know her, came to quickly realize that Carmen del Playa’s vocabulary and education were far beyond that of the average Peruvian peasant woman and that she never gave any indication of emotional derangement.  

Carmen noted that one day her friend from Lima asked her why she, a middle-aged 364-year-old on her home planet, had aged so rapidly in the past 30 years since her arrival on Earth in 1939?  She shrugged and replied that the organic environment on Earth was different from that on Plazenile and that her rapid aging was due to the lack of certain necessary hormones provided by Plazenile’s atmosphere.

“I am not sad about this, though,” insisted Carmen del Playa, noting that, “This is a good place and these people are kind; but I do not wish to live the average Plazenilean life of 700 or 800 years without my family, friends or home.”

Soul Traveler from Deruel

Another interesting case emerged from Perugia, Italy, where 79-year-old Arturo Senziadorro claims that he was transported to Earth by “soul travel” from another planet.  Like our dear friend Omnec Onec, the Venusian master from the Fifth Dimensional Plane of Venus (Venus Etheria, as it known among esotericists), Arturo maintains that his extraterrestrial soul had entered the body of a dying child, the real Senziadorro, at the moment when that child’s own soul had departed to the heavenly realms.  Of course, the strictly Roman Catholic residents of Perugia did not know what to make out of Arturo Senziadorro or his fantastic claims.  But all of his neighbors insisted that Arturo had been telling these “wild tales” ever since he was old enough to talk.  

“I was only a child myself,” wrote the white-bearded farmer Arturo in his letter to Beyond, adding that, “My real father was one of the most renowned metaphysicians on the planet of Deruel, far distant from the Earth.

“Deruel was dying.  Clouds of fire covered most of our terrain.  The sea was a turbulence of great waves and the land heaved and rocked with quakes.  Fire spouted from the barren, stone deserts north of our home.

“My father knew that our world was doomed.  He had no thought for himself; and my mother was dead.  I, his only child, was the one he chose to send across the universe by soul travel to enter the body of a child.

“The immense mental and spiritual effort necessary for this made it impossible for my father to come with me, or send others.

“There may have been other metaphysicians who sent themselves or their loved ones to Earth, the planet chosen because of its similarity to Deruel, but I do not know of them.”

Arturo Senziadorro, who lives in a small, stone house about three miles outside of Perugia, claims that his soul occupied that of the dying boy when that original Arturo was but three years old.  The neighbors recall that once upon a time, when Arturo was three years old, he was desperately ill, suffering with a severe attack of pneumonia.  They were all surprised, however, when the child had a miraculous recovery, even after a doctor from Perugia had said that he didn’t think the young Arturo was going to pull out of his dire condition.  

When Arturo was old enough to talk in relatively complete sentences and make himself understood, when he was about four years old, he began to tell his neighbors where he was from and what had happened to him on the dual dimensional planes.  His story was essentially the same as when he wrote about it in his letter to Beyond.  Like Carmen in Peru, he has been thoroughly examined by doctors who have certified him to be basically sane, except for his one fixation about being an extraterrestrial.  “Though I speak with the brain and the tongue of another person’s body,” asserts Arturo, “I retain clear memories of my home planet.”

He further explained, “It was hot- much, much hotter than Earth; but we Deruelians were constructed to stand heat better than Earth creatures.  I don’t remember many machines.  I think our civilization was more spiritually advanced than Earth, but less advanced technically.  I was too young to know much about what went on in our world; but I don’t remember any talk of wars.  Everyone seemed to love each other more than on this planet.  

“My most vivid memory is of our food.  We ate only leafy plants which provided us with water so we didn’t need to drink liquids.  Our bodies were similar to those of Earth creatures, except that the heads were much larger.  Our homes, I think I remember, were all the same- low, mound-shaped domes made of some sort of stone.”

“Implanted ET Knowledge”

Cummings, the writer for Beyond, says that a correspondent from a prominent French newspaper sent him the following story about yet another extraterrestrial living their life out on Earth:    

Georges Drounelle, twenty-seven, an assistant hospital pharmacist, claims that he was born on another planet and transported here in a spacecraft several months after his birth.  

Drounelle, who was found on the doorstep of an orphanage in Nantes, France, insists that his still immature brain was “implanted” with the knowledge that he was of extraterrestrial origin.

He further says that the space craft, which left him on Earth, then returned to his home planet in another galaxy, leaving him to grow up on Earth and learn as much about Earth culture as possible.  At some undetermined time in the future, he says, the craft will return to pick him up and take him back to his home planet, where he will deliver his information about the Earth.  

Drounelle says he remembers nothing about his home since he was brought here as an infant, and only provided with the knowledge of his mission by “implanting” techniques he cannot explain.

He does state, however, that he is sure he I not the only child from his planet brought to Earth.  There are at least a dozen others living near enough to him to make him feel their presence, Drounelle claims.

Are the aims of his planet friendly toward Earth?

“I don’t know,” he says.  “It is no concern of mine.  My first allegiance is to my own planet, far away.  If they chose to be benefactors to this planet, I will help them in that also.”

In a series of tests given by a psychologist interested in Drounelle’s tale, he showed abnormal ESP abilities, and what was termed a “remarkable” ability to concentrate the powers of his mind and will.  

Once, at a theatre performance, when a hypnotist tried to hypnotize Drounelle, the curtain had to be rung down because Drounelle himself hypnotized the hypnotist and ordered him to set himself on fire, which he did.

According to those who know him, Drounelle also seems to possess an abnormally high amount of static electricity in his body.  Sparks leap from his fingers when he touches metal.

Crashed Space Capsule in Turkey

Another relevant report has been received from Ankara, Turkey, where police had been engaged in an all-out search, lasting six days, for the missing occupants of what has been termed a “space capsule” which crashed to Earth in a virtually deserted industrial area on the outskirts of the city.  

One of the occupants was a young woman of approximately 25 years of age.  She was found stunned near the remains of the craft and wearing a one-piece, blue garment of metallic cloth.  After being taken into custody, she told authorities that she had been accompanied by two others and that all three of them were from another planet.  This young female alien explained that the intellectual adjustments that were common to all inhabitants of her native world enabled her to easily speak Turkish after a couple of days.  She also said that she and her two companions were sent to Earth because it is a planet very similar in size and atmospheric composition to her home world.  She hoped that the some of the plant life found on Earth might prove suitable as a source of seeds that she could take home with her to help alleviate a possible food shortage on her own planet.  

There had been a flash of intense light streaking toward the ground, followed by a loud explosion in the area that brought police and crowds of onlookers rushing to the apparent crash site of a mysterious object.  Unfortunately, when her space craft, or what was left of it, had been found, there was nothing but a heap of shattered, twisted and totally unrecognizable metal at the scene, about the size of a large American car.  How that young woman, who initially was in a state of shock and unable to move, survived such a violent crash has not been determined.  As to her companions, the extraterrestrial woman said that they were unharmed, and after tending to her, moved out in a northerly direction to conduct a reconnaissance of the region.  They had planned on coming back to get her with help when it would be safe to move her.  Not believing her story about being an extraterrestrial, the Turkish authorities assumed the wreckage to be that of an automobile of unknown make; but they had been unable to explain her strange costume.  

In his article, Cummings stated that, “Reliable sources are pressing for a thorough scientific examination of the young woman, it having been suggested she could be the carrier of an as yet unidentified plant disease, which might result in disastrous damage to crops all over the world.”  In the meantime, she was help incommunicado and reports that were leaking out from of place of detention suggested that she had gone on a hunger strike.  There were other unusual reports, however, that declared that the woman did not need to eat any more than twice a month, as is allegedly the case with the all the other inhabitants of her native planet.

Cummings queried persons at the Turkish national intelligence service headquarters in Ankara and was told that a “security lid” had been placed on all information concerning the crash and crash area.  Authorities at the top of the organization even insisted that no such incident ever occurred, despite numerous photographs and documentation that appeared in local newspapers.  

Cummings also mentioned that the editorial offices of Beyond received one more alien report just before the November edition went to press.  It seems that an elderly man had been discovered in a small town on the outskirts of La Paz, the capital of Bolivia, who claims to have arrived on Earth from a distant solar system in an organic space craft fitting the description supplied by Carmen del Playa in Peru about the spaceship that brought her to our lovely planet.  Cummings reported that all the personnel at Beyond were already on the case, attempting to verify any similarities with Carmen del Playa’s story.

Irish Tales: Fairies, Changelings & the Hat Man

An Irish Man recounts some of the many stories he was told over the years by the people in his village. Very interesting and foreboding accounts.

I received the following account from Kyle & Cam at Expanded Perspectives:

"I come from a small village in Ireland. When I was growing up the population was somewhere around the 900 mark, and it's over 1600 now. Been growing at a steady increase over the last few years. In the early 90's when I was a kid, pretty much every adult had some sort of 'ghost story.' I'm not even kidding. The amount of stuff I was told was ridiculous, sometimes laughable, but quite often terrifying. 
Personally, I've had a number of experiences. I know it sounds convenient but they had a profound effect on my life and still shake me now when I think about them. They're for another time though.
Just outside my village there is an old road called the Stump Lane. On the Stump Lane there's the ruins of an old house. It's beaten down to about two layers of the stone walls now and beside it is a tree known to the people of that area as the 'fairy tree.' Further down the lane lives a woman who, when she was a child, used to live in that old house by the fairy tree. It's said that her family was forced out of the house by the fairies. You see, the fairy folk were supposed to be pissed at her father, Mr. Bolger, for building a house by their tree. Apparently, (not saying I believe this part, but a hell of a lot of people do) there were several attempts made to chop the tree down, but people were quickly put off by the red blood like substance that would stream from the cuts made by saws or axes (more than likely sap though, right?). Down along the middle of the lane, there is a row of about 10 houses that are spaced out over about a kilometer, and 2 fields back behind these is a place simply known as the 'fairy fort.' Further down the lane then, there is a separate lane that ventures off to an old farm that is owned by the Dunbar family I believe. A story I heard about them that dates back to the 30's is an odd one. I cannot give you names but one of the children, a young teenager at the time, was out picking blackberries one day for his mother but didn't return home. It got late and the mother got very worried. They were a country family in rural Ireland in the 30's, the children were never out late. She sent her husband and other sons out looking for him, but there was no sign of him. 3 weeks went by and they feared the worst, but he did eventually come home, though he was not the same. He came home nursing a sore arm, in fact one of his hands was deformed, it had been changed into a baby's hand. He said he was taken by the fairies, and this was not questioned. It was believed as absolute truth. The mother and father apparently tried a number of different things to please the fairies in the hope that they would make their son whole again, but the son died sometime in the 80's if I am remembering what I was told correctly and with one of his hands small and deformed.
So, the changeling. I'm not sure of the date on this one but it is said to have happened around the outskirts of the village. The woman who told me about the story of the Dunbars, shared this one with me too. She told me a boatload of things and really enjoyed sharing stories about the fairies and was a complete believer in them. 
This is the story of a young woman who was widowed not long after she had given birth. Now fending for herself and a baby, she took on a job picking cabbages. Whilst working one day, her baby was sleeping in a basket along one of the drills. Everything was nice and quiet, until she got home. Her baby was different looking, old looking, the same size, but it looked like and old man. She couldn't leave its side, it would scream and shout for her, and not only that, it would curse and say foul things, laughing as it did. Her family came to visit and were disturbed by the baby. It threw bread at them, and spat at them, sniggering and jeering them as it did.
When they were leaving, the young lady's father brought her outside. The baby screamed like a banshee. The father told her that the thing inside was not her child and that he was going to send the priest out to her. Sure enough the priest called out to her and he received the same abuse. He told her to leave the thing outside for three days and no matter how hard to tried to get in, she was to leave it out there. Ignore it, for it was not her child anymore, it was one of the fairies. 
She didn't want to go through with it, but after suffering for weeks, she left the thing outside. It cried like a baby, sobbing and screaming and pleading... 'mammy, please let me in mammy. Don't leave me out here. I'm scared.' For three days and nights she listened to it bang on the windows, scream for her and weep in ways no person wants to hear. But it all stopped, after the third night, there was silence. She opened the door to find her baby boy had been returned unharmed, safe and grinning. When I was around 8 years old, I had a pal who was over at my house when he told me something that his father had told him and the rest of the family when they were eating dinner the night before. His father was working as a farmhand, and on this day was sheering sheep. He said he got a feeling someone was watching him. He looked around and saw nothing out of the ordinary and continued working. He would again feel a presence around him, though and this time when he turned he saw a huge man, wearing a top hat and what looked like a cloak. He could not make out any features though. He just said that the man was black, he was just all black. 
My mother was there when my friend was retelling his father's story and she would follow it with a story of her own. Well, it was her mother's (my grandmother). She told us that her mother had often spoke of about seeing and being followed by a man in a top hat and cloak. My grandmother was not from the village were I lived, she was from a town some 9 miles away. It's a decent sized town I guess and it has plenty of its own stories too I'm sure. 
Her house was in a little cul de sac that was at the back of an old supermarket. There was a short cut to her house, a small narrow alley that stretched the length of the store all the way past her house, there was no lights on the actual alley itself and the walls on either side were pretty high, for the most part. So when it was night, it was really damn dark on that alley. The only light you could see was the light back down at the end that shown from the road where the store was.
My grandmother was playing bingo one night, and sure enough like any other night, she walked up that alley to get home quicker. Halfway up it she heard footsteps behind her. She stopped and did something she always advised her kids against doing, she turned around to see what was there. There was nothing there, the long narrow laneway was empty. She began to walk again and once again she heard something behind her. She turned, this time, the hat man walked out of the shadows and stood tall and menacing, a dark silhouette that almost blocked all the light at the end of the alley. She told my mother that she asked him what he wanted and something else. He didn't answer though and she just turned back and walked home. I'm not sure if she ever saw him again. She was old school though man, hard as nails, but on the inside she was a cushion.
The next time I heard something about him, I was around 20. I was having a few pints with a few mates. We sat down at a table where some old stories were being told. A guy got to talking. Now this man is as straight as they get, no bullshit kind of guy. A country chap who worked his ass off during the week and enjoyed a pint on the weekends. He said he was walking home one night, it was black dark. Man, once you walk out of Ferns (my village), well back then at least, there were no lights until the next town or village. So, he's walking home when, just like my grandmother, he heard someone walking behind him. He stopped and looked back, and this happened several times, to the point where it sounded like the footsteps were right behind him. He stopped and looked back, nothing there. He turned back to face the way he was going, when there standing in front of him was a tall man with a top hat. He said the man was jet black, so black that he was even more dark and black that the black night that surrounded him. He was frozen, terrified, the hat man walked past him and said nothing, disappearing into the night.
The guy who told us this was visibly shaken by what happened and had nothing to gain by making something like that up. We even walked him home that night. 
Sorry for rambling on. I know hearing all this sounds too fantastic to be true, but I really have been told so many things by so many people, and by people I would vouch for, that I most definitely believe...that they believed what they were telling me was true. Ireland is a scary ass place, when you really get to know it, when you let yourself go and accept it for what it is. I am glad to hold so many different tales that cover so many different things, but it is also a bit of a burden because I am scaring myself now as I write this and as I let the memories flood my mind."
